Five Guys

Reviews:
This five guys is located in an area where good customer service is ... uncommon. However, when you enter their doors you are greeted by a team of cooks/cashiers who are polite and make you feel good about spending so much money on what is probably the greasiest food in the area. YES, this food is GREASY. You can tell by grease spots on your bag but BOY is it worth it. Just hit the gym extra hard after you eat it. This place has an overpriced burger in my opinion but the service is great food is great and hey, you get complimentary peanuts while you wait in line. My suggestion... skip out on wendys and McDonald's. Go to 5 guys.
When it comes to greasy, unhealthy comfort food, Five Guys has always been a cut above the rest. This Five Guys is no exception, with it's staple clean environment (clean enough that I actually feel okay dining in the building!), friendly service, generous portions, decent prices, and everything is cooked to order right in front of you. That's always been a plus for me. When they're cooking the food and you can see them, it makes me feel like there's less bad things they can do to it. Call me naive but I feel comforted. And it's not just the presentation of the food. You get the feel of fast food with the quality and taste of something much better. It feels just like cooking burgers at home. The selection of toppings kind of reminds me how Fudruckers used to be where you can add pretty much anything you can think of to your burger. I usually order the jr. bacon cheeseburger with everything and sometimes I'll add green peppers, hot sauce, or bbq sauce. Any and everything that I've tried has been great. Get creative. They won't mind. And although Five Guys has an a la carte menu (you can't order combos and must pay for everything separately) the portion size of the fries and free refill station make it so that I don't ever need two cups or two orders of fries for two people. So when in a group, order smart to avoid a hefty tab! Of course you can't eat burgers and fries too often without the pending threat of heart disease, but when you DO eat burgers and fries Five Guys is one of the best places to do it. They never disappoint. For this genre of fast food, Five Guys is definitely as good as it gets. Woohoo!
Five guys is usually consistent wherever I go. The food here is pretty comparable to other Five Guys, however this review is about service. It's slow as hell. I am talking 20 mins slow. I thought that was extreme being as though I was only one of about 4 customers in the store. Then while I eating with my son, I saw the cook from the line, come from out of the kitchen though the side door by the soda machine to greet his girlfriend. I am assuming this is his girlfriend, the way they open mouth kissed for at least a good three minutes, right there in the restaurant, in uniform and all. There was fondling and it was all types of inappropriate-ness. There were several people in military uniforms that came past to use the soda machine, which did not stop them. I saw them shake their head in disgust an walk away. I am sure he was not on break because, I saw him go right back to the kitchen. Needless to say, I did not stay or finish that meal. Went home for leftovers like I should have done in the first place. There is a time and place for everything, that was not it. If I were the manager, he would have been fired.

Best place I've found to eat in the area so far. Everything made fresh to order and fast. Prices reasonable. Tenders were a bit dry when we got them but the ribs and fish are delicious. Also love the macaroni and cheese. Super friendly staff. Bummed they aren't open on Sundays!
All I could say was "yyyyumm" after my meal. The food was delicious and the employees at this establishment were extremely friendly. In regards to parking you just park in the back and they have a good size dinning area if you opt to not do carryout. Overall I had a wonderful experience.
It was ok, in a good way, I feel that the skin on the chicken was a bit tough. My ribs were good and we also had three piece tilapia and fried croaker, tater salad, greens and combo meal came with corn bread. Also had pulled pork and red velvet cake and three mystic type bottled drinks Fish- 10 dollars ; note we got two kinds, nice size pieces, fried well, corn meal crunchy coating, in my opinion could have used a little salt, but easily fixed by me at home with a sprinkling of old bay, I also liked the tarter sauce Rib and chicken combo- 12 dollars and some change-large size, I think I had 4 pieces of ribs these were soft, you could taste the smoke, yummy not over powering. Two pieces of chicken good flavor but skin was tough I don't know anything bout smoking meat.... But I watch the BBQ wars so points off for tough skin..... Pulled pork with fries and Mac and cheese- I didn't eat this, but judging from the teenager who scarfed it down I didn't hear any complaints good portion of meat, fries looked crunchy and hot ( could have used some seasoning on those) as for Mac and cheese.... I just don't like anyone's Mac and cheese..... But no complaints received Tater salad- good, nice flavor not too much mayo....taste like your aunt made it ( the aunt you like) a little salt was needed for me but I add rather add a pinch of salt than have severely over seasoned food any day Greens- I don't like vinegar in greens point blank period...... And I could taste vinegar in these. But it was subtle not overly done, so I was ok with these but they were real greens fresh not canned or frozen Corn bread comes with combo, soft texture slightly sweet, me likes and I appreciate it coming with meal and not being an up charge item. It's a decent meal not overly priced establishment was clean folks at counter nice. Note of caution super pothole at entrance/exit point of lot behind the restaurant so steer clear of that Has Sunday hours now...... I'm going back for some more fish as I'm not much on red meat....

Normally i dont eat pepperoni pizza, but one day my fiance' bought one ( he forgot to ask what topping i prefer). Saw it and was not expecting to enjoy it. I DID!! OMG! The pizza was soooo good. Thick slices of pepperoni which is not like a typical pepp pizza. Everything about this pizza screams excellence. Addictive indeed. Of course my fiance' and I will return!! See you Saturday Ledo's!
Came in here with my family to get a bite to eat and it was delicious! Very friendly service, very fast service also. It was so good. I will definitely come back here! So hard to find a great pizza place and I'm happy to have found it here. Ordered the wings, ledo stromboli, hawaiian pizza, and the broccoli cheddar soup all of it was great! The wings were especially good! Can't wait to go back!
I love this Ledos....like seriously, with all of my heart and soul I do :D They have never let me down!! Not many Ledos locations are consistent in taste and customer service, as I've stated in previous reviews, but this location takes the cake! The employees are always friendly, sweet, and attentive. The girl at the counter on the weekends is very nice and no matter how busy it gets, she always makes sure to get to everyone in a timely manner. I have never dined in but I feel the experience would still be the same. The pizza is always cooked to perfection, cheese melted perfectly, evenly topped, CORRECTLY topped, and the taste is always the same .... AMAZEBALLS! I always get a large pepperoni pizza when I come here. Keep up the great work! Favs: Everything! Would Change: Maybe a cleaner bathroom butttt it is a pizza joint so I don't expect much.

Reviews:
Ok, so I'm from Houston, & besides growing up in a creole/cajun world, My husband & I went to school in New Orleans--my second home, & with that being said, Dugue's is OFFICIAL creole food. We have been here several times. The shrimp Po boy, fried shrimp platter, red & beans & rice, fries, & the jambalaya are all good. Be warned, they do run out of jambalaya & red beans. The gumbo is pretty good--I usually need to add more seasoning, & ask for the rice on the side. The cornbread, is the BEST I've ever had--for real. It's so good. I only wish they weren't closed on Mardi Gras. They also close super early--8pm & are not open on Mondays. If they did half a Po boy w/a cup of gumbo, that would be amazing!
I'm beginning to think people in this area are clueless on evaluating food. The best part of this meal was the cornbread which actually a as some of the Best cornbread I've ever had. Everything else was bland with the exception of the jambalaya which was nice and spicy but very dry. The Mac and cheese, cabbage, and meatloaf were nothing special. The service was quick and the food was hot which are the only positives besides the cornbread but I have to say. The decor was OK however some spots were run down.
The food is outstanding here. Native New Orleanian and so happy to see a place where they got it right. Will be back again and again and again. Thanks DSD! :)

Reviews:
By far, some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. The dough is perfect and has an excellent flavor. The sauce is slightly sweet, and complimented with rich cheese. I recommend this pizza.
i was in the Clinton area with friends and decided to order from Eddie's based on the fabulous Yelp reviews. And I really wanted this to be a good place. So we ordered a large supreme pizza. Pluses: It was delivered within the 30 minute quoted time. Minuses: The crust was soggy. The mushrooms were straight out of a can. The cheese near the soggy crust wasn't completely melted, but the remaining toppings were hot. It was like they fired the pizza with the toppings, threw on the cheese and refired it. Our order might have been a fluke. But I've had better pizza.
Absolutely the best calzones in town. The owner and workers obviously love what they do and take a high level of pride in the amazing quality of their food. That being said they get a three star because they are horribly located, and the building it tiny and cramped inside. The decor gives off and odd vibe. Also they aren't open on Saturday and Sunday which is irritating. If they got a late night delivery business going they'd have a huge drunk food market.

Texas Ribs and BBQ

Reviews:
I ordered hush puppies and chicken tenders. Both were good! Beware of the special hot sauce; it was very very hot!! We were sad to learn that the establishment doesn't take reservations for a large party. We wanted to have a dinner here prior to our wedding. Oh well, I am sure that we will be back.
Disappointing would be an understatement. I was staying near Andrews Air Force Base with some coworkers and we decided to give this place a try since it was the top-rated restaurant on Yelp for this area. Food - I wanted to try their "award-winning" brisket so I ordered the Brisket and Mac off the specials. Brisket flavor wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. I had to actually cut the brisket with a knife. The mac n' cheese looked and tasted like it had been sitting in a warming tray at a buffet for an hour. The Texas toast was buttered toast. The coleslaw wasn't bad. One of my friends got the chicken and ribs and said it was the worst grilled chicken he has had in years. Another friend got a steak and didn't finish it. Service - Waited 30 minutes for food. I had water to drink and I finished it 3/4 of the way into my meal and the waitress never offered to refill. Price - About $20 with water to drink and after tip. If this is the best restaurant in this area, I weep for the local residents. I will be hitting a chain restaurant like IHOP or Ruby Tuesday before I come back to this place (sad, I know). It was really, really bad and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I stumbled on this place driving back into Washington. Sadly as we all know, DC sucks for bbq. So I'm always on the lookout for decent ribs around the beltway. I didn't try the spare ribs because, well, I marginally prefer the BB's. I know they're not 'real' bbq, but they were delicious. Not over sauced at all, and very tender. Eating a full rack was no problem at all, even when preceded by (excellent) pulled pork quesadillas. The ambience was, well, not DC. Which is good or bad, depending on your taste. Mostly good, according to mine. There was, unsurprisingly, no room for dessert. So I can't help you there! But otherwise, this is my new go to place for ribs in the area.

We found this place on a whim and love it! We've had take-out and dine in, and have never gone wrong. We absolutely love the stuffed mushrooms, and the wine recommendations have always been superb. Highly recommend if you're a pasta fan ;)
Pan seared Salmon like no other. Greatest Italian food in the entire area hands down.
Ordered the calamari and the chicken florentine. The calamari was good but unfortunately the chicken was completely tasteless and the entire thing tasted like it came from the frozen aisle. I couldn't narrow down if the frozen taste came from the spinach, chicken or tasteless wine cream sauce. The service was great. Very helpful and friendly. I'm not sure how I feel about the decor. It was more of a romantic setting.

This location is always busy but they pull it off like a well oiled machine...virtually flawlessly and with grace. The chicken is always fresh and amazing but the staff are friendly and welcoming.
For the second time in three trips my order was wrong. Ordered spicy, got mild. Ordered breast and wing, but got wing and thigh.
I have no idea what makes this particular location so darn good, but it is! I have never had a bad chicken experience here. I used to frequent the one by Andrews Air Force base, but I believe they are under new management. The last few times I went there, the chicken tasted old/ over cooked like it had been sitting out under the heating lamps too long. Those of you who are Popeyes connoisseurs like myself, know that this the worse thing ever. I always get spicy white meat, and if it is dry, I will have a fit. Maybe the Clinton location gets more traffic, so their chicken is always fresher. Good job to the Clinton Popeyes! You are the best in the area and you make my life a little better :)

My favorite Asian restaurant carry out on this side of town. I pass many a carry out to come to this one. Something about their food is just fresher, better flavor and and it's always quick. I usually call before I arrived and it seems to always be on the counter waiting for me. Not sure how they do that. They can make anything in less than 10 minutes. There is seating however I've never fat to do anymore then wait for my food. 4 stars for the food. They also are very fast on delivery. I had never had shrimp toast before. However this place makes some good shrimp toast. .
Food was not that good compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. The restaurant itself was very cold, possibly because the heating unit may have been broken. I would describe the cleanliness as sub-par. The front window was nearly shattered and the plaza/area seemed at bit shady.
I like this restaurant. The lady at the front always smiles as she's taking your order. The food ia basic. I mean, it isnt really authentic chinese food. But for what it is its good. I never get an attitude from staff and the food is prepared very quickly.
