Time for a review update and a nod to the fact that I go here about every other day--this place serves as my family's personal chef! I've never had anything here that was less than top quality. And I love that they keep trying new dishes (although I lament some that they don't make any more) My latest new experience was the raisin-less bread pudding I special ordered (hate those squishy buggers...) It was to-die-for. I could have glugged back mugsful of the hard sauce alone... Fab-u-lous!! Check it out--it is a neighborhood treasure!

Palate Pleasers made and delivered the cupcakes for my wedding, and they were quite delicious. My only gripe is that nobody removed the brown separating paper from each cupcake, and the display didn't look so hot. The food and catering service at Palate Pleasers is also generally spectacular - they catered our engagement party!

We used Palate Pleasers catering for our wedding last weekend and it was a HIT! We had so many compliments on all the items served and I was super happy with the service that was provided. Mind you, I did 99% of our planning from Okinawa, Japan and from the very first phone call, I was sold on this company. They were very understanding, offered several suggestions along the way (as I was increasingly overwhelmed, I lost any creativity I once had!), and met us at the venue on a Sunday afternoon (Thank You, Sally!!). The serving staff that worked that evening was AWESOME! They were so easy and friendly, met all of our needs and our guests were super pleased. Additionally, Palate Pleasers made their coconut cake as our wedding cake. I was trying to upload a picture of it, but the file is too large :( It was FANTASTIC and we highly recommend it!!! We will, without doubt, put Palate Pleasers at the top of our list for future catering needs!! Thank you to everyone! You guys were great!!!

This place has one of the best caesar salads I've ever had, but the chicken (if you choose to add it for a pricey amount) is incredibly dry and not worth the addition. The plain salad itself is actually at a good price. The place is pretty expensive, but sometimes worth it. They usually make a pizza each day and sell them by the slice (not always hot) and they are pretty good with interesting toppings, but you'd have to warm it up yourself. The soups and ziti are also good. Other prepared foods are just okay in my opinion.

Palate Pleasers is our personal chef. We stop there often and love their food. I'd like to see a little more variety--especially things made with black beans--black bean cakes any one?

I'll admit. Me coming to this place was by luck. I won a gift card for $25 dollars and that is how I got intoriduced to the Palate Pleasers. This bakery is so cute and the food is even better. I loved the past salad and banana nut bread. I will definetly be back. My order came to 27 dollars and when i recahed to pull out money for the remaing $2 dollar balance. She told me not to worry about it. That was so unnexpected and great customer service.

What an evil place to put next to a gym!!!! So even after I gained back the calories that I just lost by devouring the apple cake that I always buy from here, I always come back for more. In addition to their awesome fresh bakery items, they have a freezer with day old bread, muffins, and croissants for 25%! And if the freezer is fully enough, you may get the frozen items for free when you buy something there at regular price. It all depends on how full the freezer is. So it is to your advantage to stop by often to see what they have. You can't get much better than that! Another one of my favorites from this place is the Fig Torte. It is a spread with Mascapone cheese and dried figs. This spread is always a party hit! Now I have never had them cater anything, but they are high on my list of choices. I'm definitely one of their "Gourmet to Go" customers. Ladies, if you have ever been to True Value's (on Forest Drive) Ladies' Night in Fall, Palate Pleasers usually cater with their mini cheese cakes and yummy fall cookies. The Pumpkin Cookies were my favorite! I hope they cater again next year! You get the point, I love this place!

love. love. and MORE LOVE. I have been going to Palate Pleasers since I was in a stroller and my mom used to take us there to get some picnic food (LOVE their sandwiches and used to love them on focaccia) before heading over to Quiet Waters for the day. "Picnic food" doesn't even begin to describe it. Some of it is absolutely phenomenal. It's been more than 25 years since those days of me in the stroller and I have always been thrilled with this place! We had a small party for my mom's 50th birthday a few years ago and they did a great job for me. Staff has been extremely attentive and friendly every time I've used them for anything. Over and over again they've helped me with my last minute party needs, too. They've got a great freezer full of fantastic nibbles you can take home and throw in your oven to jazz up any dinner party. A few MUSTS: Grilled, marinated flank steak with jezebel sauce. I am drooling just thinking about it. The steak is stinkin' awesome all by itself, but that jezebel sauce brings a party to your mouth. So good! If they've got their couscous with Mediterranean veggies in the case, don't pass it up, either! The hot crab dip with sliced almonds. The Caesar Salad - it's REAL.... Make sure you ask for the anchovies, too! For dessert - those chocolate mint brownies and the applecake are my old stand-byes. Only one problem - I love all those things so much I can't break out of ordering the same thing every time! I know I'm probably missing out on all kinds of deliciousness. Note: No eat-in dining. Carry-out and catering only.

Four years have passed, and people are still raving about the food at our wedding. Not only that, but the staff made the planning process fun and were happy to incorporate our ideas. Our banquet manager anticipated and overcame every obstacle, large and small, to make our event a success.
