A casual lounge tucked away in the bustle of West Street. A bit more relaxed than it's downstairs counter-part with the same service and food that made the original famous. Come in and check it out!

Ark & Dove Bed & Breakfast

149 Prince George St
Annapolis, 21401
Reviews:
I really am not a B&B person. I usually find them too small, too old and dirty, and too uncomfortable. The Ark & Dove made me re-think that position. It was hugh - 3 floors of beautifully decorated rooms with a deck and outdoor patio, immaculately clean rooms, comfortable beds, a Viking range and a side-by-side refrigerator in the kitchen, a flat screen TV, air-conditioning, and remodeled bathrooms. There are framed sketches of the Ark and the Dove, the ships that are the namesake of the B&B, on the 3rd floor. I slept on the 3rd floor in the canopy bed and it was wonderful! The only downside (literally as well as figurtively, was the 13 + 16 stairs to get up and down there, but it was worth it. The location cannot be beat, about half a block from downtown. And you don't need keyes to get in /out- it's a combination. The hosts, Sandy & Sue, are delightful. Parking is on the street, and they provide tags. It was a gret experience - I didn't want to leave!

Gibson’s Lodgings

110 Prince George St
Annapolis, 21401
Reviews:
PERFECT place you stay; you won't find a more hospitable host. Not only did Meredith delightfully check us in HOURS early, in an upgraded room by the way as our room was booked the night before, her team packed a breakfast for us due to our incredibly early check out time. The room was meticulous with extra blankets and pillows. I never did figure out how to work the a/c so I was a bit cold and thankful for the extra blankets!... The room had a sound machine, which I consider a thoughtful touch. Everything about Gibson's is really above and beyond. Tea, coffee, water, sweets and savories are out at ALL times for your snacking pleasure. Syrup and whipped cream is provided for sinful coffee. The location is SUPER - one block from the water So close to nightlife, shopping and all things wonderful about Annapolis. Check in is through the courtyard between the two buildings - where your FREE parking spot awaits. I can't wait to come back
"Perfect Getaway before school starts for Mom and Dad" We live in DC and are always looking for a good quick get away. Annapolis is a great town, quaint, lively, plenty choices to eat and drink, and of course the water! We got a last minute booking at Gibsons Lodgings and it couldn't have been better. First, it's perfectly located to walk around town and YES it does have a huge parking area! Second, the people working are so nice and helpful (and great bakers- love the pumpkin squares). Everyone is helpful, there is plenty of free water, drinks and snacks to tie you over in between jaunts into town. And the room was more than we needed. All in all a great place and a great 24 hour R&R before school starts. We will be back again.
Everything about our stay was excellent. The location was perfect. Right next to the Naval academy within a block of down town Annapolis all walking distance. We were in town for our Anniversary. We got our room promptly and were having beers on the patio within 10 mins of checking in. They had a fridge with water/sodas chips cookies and pastries to snack on through the day free of charge. They also had free separate parking lot which is a huge plus in the area. The room was clean and the A/C was great. The building we stayed in was great and had a great living room for leisure to lounge while waiting to go out. The breakfast buffet was awesome all fresh fruit pastries and a waffle bar. Will def stay when in Annapolis again.

Reviews:
Awesome Experience! My fiancé and I stayed at the Gatehouse on Valentine's Day and as this was our first experience staying at a Bed & Breakfast we had no idea what to expect. We were greeted by Nick who was absolutely hilarious and very informative of the local attractions. The decor of the room was warm and inviting and I must say the cleanliness was nothing less than exceptional. The house was quiet and peaceful and we felt as if we were at home. The next morning we met Jody and I must say, she's a fabulous cook. The breakfast was terrific and Nick and Jody kept us laughing. I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast and we plan on returning in the spring/summer. Thanks Nick and Jody for your warm hospitality. John and Tanya Hamilton

Ledo Pizza Corporate Headquarters

2001 Tidewater Colony Way
Annapolis, 21401
Reviews:
From a single college hangout to a national name, LEDO is one of Maryland's defining home brands. Phillips, Under-Armour, McCormick and the Greene Turtle - some things just say just say MARYLAND. LEDO Pizza was a joint venture from two men with no food-service experience. It was perhaps the inexperience that created the unique properties of the LEDO brand that make it a lasting love. What they did understand was commitment to community that helped cement the brand in the hearts of many. Some 60 years later, the LEDO brand has raised more than a million dollars for John Hopkins' Children's Center. LEDO Pizza is a family industry from Franchisor to Vendor to Franchisee. They currently operate with their 3rd generation and working on generation 4 for continued success. LEDO is unique with its hand made, hand rolled crust, California tomatoes, family recipes and American made, smoked Provolone cheese. These ingredients are unlike their competition. They cost more and require hand made preparation - but in the end deliver the ultimate experience in pizza! LEDO Pizza Systems in Annapolis is the company's headquarters. While they don't make pizza there, it's where the magic begins.

Subway

1 Park Pl,Ste 2
Annapolis, 21401
Reviews:
This Subway just opened about one-two months ago, in the space where the (now closed) art gallery/sale room was, down the street from Fado's restaurant. My dad and I went there for lunch today, mainly to get out of the house after the snowstorm had kept us house-bound for several days, and shared a footlong meatball sub. It was standard Subway fare, but the restaurant was very clean and well-kept. While foot traffic was fairly steady while we were there, the staff was attentive and helpful. For such a small Subway, there seemed to be a lot of staff behind the counter - I counted four or five people? Which is fine, the more the better, especially when it's lunch or dinner time! The quick glance at the menu did NOT show the "local favorites" that I'm accustomed to (Where fore art thou, cold cut trio?) Now I could be mistaken, and I will gladly update if I'm wrong, but they may just not have had the room for it. I know most people would roll their eyes at yet *another* franchise store popping up, but I'm actually really glad, since it's so close to my house. Their location at Park Place is ideal, being on the corner of a giant upscale apartment complex, so they should get a lot of foot traffic when word gets out they're open.

Chez Amis Bed & Breakfast

85 East St
Annapolis, 21401
Reviews:
Terrific inn near the steps of the State House and convenient to all things important in historical Annapolis. Lovely hosts, comfortable rooms delicious breakfast and just a pleasure.
How I heard of this place: My husband surprised me with a sweet, winter weekend in the historic town of Annapolis. He did all of the research and found this five-star rated B&B on Trip Advisor. Type of cuisine: A three-course breakfast, alternating between savory and sweet mornings. Ambiance: "Come share a day, weekend or week in the state capitol of Maryland, and all it has to offer. Our four bedroom Annapolis bed and breakfast in historic downtown is nearby the State Capital building, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the U. S. Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous Annapolis dining and entertainment, all within walking distance. "Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Here you will enjoy a great breakfast, comfortable lodging and old fashioned relaxation. Each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests' favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you 'sneak downstairs' for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. At the lower level stairway there is a vast collection of fiction, DVD's and CD's for your enjoyment during your stay. Bring your nooks or e-reader, and use our free wireless, or use our I-Pad or mini-lap top for your convenience as well." The pictures can tell a thousand words...Enjoy this gallery of cozy, American heritage of this corner lot Georgian: What I ordered: On day one: We enjoyed our coffee service at 8:00 a.m., followed by mini scones accompanied by Michigan cherry preserves and butter. After enjoying our delicate and warm scones, we moved to the second course of poached pears in a vinegar-ginger sauce, topped off with creme fraiche. Our third, and final course: baked eggs over herbed potatoes and an artichoke-tomato salsa. There were six of us dining on day two: We began our meals with the coffee service, indulging in the recent addition of Keurig Peppermint Hot Chocolate, and moving towards the warmed, mini apple date oat bran muffins. Our second course included a small dish of thawed (frozen) blueberries mixed with honey-infused ricotta, fresh whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon. To end our meals, we enjoyed two thin strips of bacon on the side of an Amish bread: citrus-raisin strata topped with Michigan cherry preserves, and a thin half-wedge of cantaloupe. What I loved: The favorite part of our stay included the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies available at all times of the day for a snack, a pick-me-up, or a sweet mid-afternoon treat to accompany lemon-ginger tea. The scones, made from a mix and thawed (Elly confessed!) were my favorite part of our two meals at Chez Amis. Why I loved it: Elly and her husband, Joe, are very sweet, friendly and warm. Joe maintains the carpentry and handy-man side of the business, while Elly entertains the guests and prepares the food. We were especially grateful to be upgraded to the Lady Anne Suite, in order to have a private bathroom en suite (rather than across the hall). Cost: High (approximately $200 per room per night, including breakfast)
Don and Mickie were wonderful hosts for our girls weekend away! They went above and beyond to make our birthday fabulous, complete with a delicious home-made chocolate cake. This was the only B&B in Annapolis with a room that could accommodate three of us at a reasonable rate for a one-night stay, and I'm so glad it worked out. Our room was adorable and the location couldn't have been better. Breakfast on Sunday morning was amazing, and we were lucky enough to enjoy it with Don and Mickie and a few of their family members (and of course Dixie, their miniature Dachshund). We will definitely be back.

Starbucks

Reviews:
I've been sitting here for an hour and the barista at the register has been 110% friendly and helpful. I think her name is Charlotte but her name tag is smeared.
The baristas here are extremely nice and they work fast. There's always a line but they keep it going. The drinks always turn out good. I prefer to go to this one in the mall (near Lord and Taylor) than the one near JCPenny's because of the excellent customer service.
Good bubble tea there are a lot of options. The pice on the board don't include tax though so if you want to pay each change you have to wait for the price at the register.

I Heart Crepes

8855 Annapolis Mall

Reviews:
Best. Crepes. Ever! Great variety in the menu, can't wait to try them all! I've had other crepes elsewhere, but none compare to this gem in the mall! Great service too :) Trust me, you'll definitely want seconds. If you are ever in the Annapolis mall, make sure to stop by and try a crepe or two! You won't be disappointed!
Very tasty! However, the person making my crepe put too much apple with sauce on it. It kind of overpowered the taste of the rest of the crepe I got (bananas peanut butter graham crackers). Other than that, the texture of the crepe was wonderful! Yummy and flaky.
This place makes amazing crepes, the batter is just right. I chose a crepe with bacon, avocado, spinach, tomato, Swiss cheese and chipotle mayo. It was well stuffed but not overstuffed and was filling for lunchtime. I took away one star because there was only one person taking care of customers and making crepes at the same time. He was super nice by the way. When we got there no one was in line but a line quickly formed as he was busy making our orders. Also my boyfriend made a comment that he wished they had pre-made options.

The Palate Pleasers

1023 Bay Ridge Ave
Annapolis, 21403
Reviews:
Time for a review update and a nod to the fact that I go here about every other day--this place serves as my family's personal chef! I've never had anything here that was less than top quality. And I love that they keep trying new dishes (although I lament some that they don't make any more) My latest new experience was the raisin-less bread pudding I special ordered (hate those squishy buggers...) It was to-die-for. I could have glugged back mugsful of the hard sauce alone... Fab-u-lous!! Check it out--it is a neighborhood treasure!
Palate Pleasers made and delivered the cupcakes for my wedding, and they were quite delicious. My only gripe is that nobody removed the brown separating paper from each cupcake, and the display didn't look so hot. The food and catering service at Palate Pleasers is also generally spectacular - they catered our engagement party!
We used Palate Pleasers catering for our wedding last weekend and it was a HIT! We had so many compliments on all the items served and I was super happy with the service that was provided. Mind you, I did 99% of our planning from Okinawa, Japan and from the very first phone call, I was sold on this company. They were very understanding, offered several suggestions along the way (as I was increasingly overwhelmed, I lost any creativity I once had!), and met us at the venue on a Sunday afternoon (Thank You, Sally!!). The serving staff that worked that evening was AWESOME! They were so easy and friendly, met all of our needs and our guests were super pleased. Additionally, Palate Pleasers made their coconut cake as our wedding cake. I was trying to upload a picture of it, but the file is too large :( It was FANTASTIC and we highly recommend it!!! We will, without doubt, put Palate Pleasers at the top of our list for future catering needs!! Thank you to everyone! You guys were great!!!
