Love the crust and sauce. Wish they delivered. For take out pizza or even eat in its pretty good. Honestly I can't tell tge difference between this and the original one in college park.

For the record, I've only ordered take out from here. I've never done sit down service. Food is good. Salads are meh, but honestly we come for the pizza. Service has gone down hill. My last visit prompted me to write this. When I asked the person behind the counter what vegetables are in the Veggie Calzone, a smarta** reply of "veggies" isn't helpful. Luckily a coworker chimed in and gave me the correct answer. But then even that once helpful coworker began to scoffing at my order and ingredient combinations for each meal. Saying "ew" and making a face doesn't make me want to return. Kids have interesting tastes, what can I say? No need to make a face about it. Someone who appeared to be the manager was behind the counter while this happened. Either he didn't hear or didn't care that his employees were acting unprofessional. Haven't been back since. I've gone to this location for a long time, so I'm sure I'll return at some point. Just not any time soon.

Grew up on Ledo's pizza (their first location in College Park). To me it has always been the best. They maintain a consistent quality in service and product.

First off, I'll say that if you're looking for "traditional" pizza, this isn't the place for you. Ledo's pizza is square, with buttery, flaky crust and a sweet sauce. I personally love it. This location always does well with our (sometimes needy) pick-up orders, and the food is consistent. If you're looking for a NY style pie, try Rocco's - but we enjoy the more delicate flavor of Ledo's! EDITED 3/19/14: sorry, guys. Not as consistent as I thought. I got a really small and puny calzone - uncharacteristic for sure. I'll give them another shot because the pizza is so delicious, but I was disappointed.

My sausage pepperoni pizza was swimming in grease. Disgusting. Service was pretty good.

You know, I liked the food. I got pasta and it was delicious. Tortalini Fresno, I believe. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. Pat enjoyed his pizza, and we even got something to go.

It should really be 1.5 stars. The actual food is always pretty good. Unfortunately, there's usually a hassle in getting the food. Take, for example, my experience tonight. I ordered online. It was moderately busy when I arrived to pick up my order. The first guy was pleasant enough. He told me that we were just waiting on my large pizza. Immediately, I knew something was wrong. I didn't order a large pizza. I made sure he knew it was a gluten free pizza instead. Then I waited for quite a while. He gathered together a gluten free, a bag presumably containing my salad, and two large pizza boxes. I reminded him that I did not order any large pizzas. So, the guy remedies the situation & I leave. When I get to the car, I check the box. Wrong pizza. So I went back in. Big line. Eventually, a couple of other employees come to the front. One, a blonde girl, starts helping people. Except she's not competent! Every person she deals with is met with a smile & "I don't work up here, so...." You guessed it, when she got to me & I told her that I got the wrong pizza, she said, "I don't work up here..." I couldn't help it. I had to ask, "Well, what exactly are you doing up here?" She didn't see fit to answer, but the black girl working (and doing a decent job) decided to give me gas face & roll her eyes. I explained that it was a fair question, and really all I wanted was the food for which I'd actually paid. I eventually left with the right order, and it is tasty as usual. But is it really worth this every time? OH WAIT! They forgot the side of sauce for the garlic bread. Dagnabit!!!!

To be fair, I have only ordered pizza from Ledo on a take-out basis, so I can't really comment on the sit-down service. Here goes: You're either a fan, or you're not. The crust is buttery - almost like a flaky pastry-type dough, the sauce is very sweet, and is contrasted by the cheese blend, which has smoked provolone in it. For those who like a savory/sweet pizza, Ledo will not disappoint. Oh, and by the way, Ledo makes square pizzas that have square slices. Don't like that either? Don't come here. I happen to like the cheese, the sweet sauce and the unique crust. The crust is a bit neutral, but does a good job of holding up the rest of the pie. I absolutely love the savory/sweet combination the sauce and smoked cheese blend create. I get take-out here most of the time, and my only complaint is that the pizza can be inconsistent. I almost always order "extra cheese," and sometimes it is truly "extra" and sometimes I wonder what they were thinking. My "inconsistent" comment pertains to the way the pizza tastes best. Believe it or not, there's a cheese/sauce ratio where the pizza is to die for. If they get that ratio wrong, the pizza just isn't as good. The staff has always been friendly to me and even call me by my first name sometimes. The time quotes they give over the phone are accurate and I have never been left standing for more than a few minutes. By the way, an objective review is one that takes your own tastes into account. If you don't like the type of crust a place has, that doesn't mean it's "crap." You just didn't happen to like it. If it's over- or under-done, that's another issue.

Just ordered from this restaurant about three weeks ago. I ordered a large pizza and caprese salad. The caprese salad looked as if they just threw in plum tomatoes and mozzarella balls on top of romaine lettuce....I am a bit confused that they can call this caprese. I will stick with more local pizza shops that provide better quality and a better understanding of true Italian dishes.

I had an insane craving for pizza, so I figured id give this place a try. I ordered a large, half pepperoni, half cheese pizza (take-out). The crust was buttery, the sauce was sweet and on point. I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. It was great!

Ledo is a chain - not much more needs to be said. If you order pasta from a place like this you're going to get soggy overcooked noodles topped with pizza sauce and other pizza toppings (think pizza with pasta as the soggy crust). It's the nature of the beast. There is absolutely nothing remarkable about Ledo other than perhaps their 'square' pies and they do offer garlic as a topping. Individual Ledo's do have custom menus sometimes depending on the location and this one has a Cajun Seafood Linquine which if the crawfish are not brutally over cooked is not bad. Its the only thing I ever go there for and that's a quick lunch fix if I'm in that area. Keep in mind this is one of those places that has NO italians working in the kitchen or in management. Carry out service is notoriously slow - if they tell you 15 minutes give them 30 or you'll be trying to entertain youself in the lobby waiting for them to get your food finished. But honestly does anyone really EXPECT anything special out of a place like this? This is strictly quantity over quality dining at best. If it's pizza you want Rocco's is absoultey the best in the area and if you want a REAL italian style pie (Domino's, Papa John's, Pizza Hut are NOT really pizza) the only place to get a wood fired margherita is Bertuccis (a chain unfortunately too but upscale). Annapolis is NOT rife with good italian fare.

We love Ledo's Pizza but it's an acquired taste. I understand completely how the other reviewers feel. My husband and I spent many starving- student days at the original College Park location, so it's nostalgic for us. It's a chain, but a local chain.....we only pick up pizza for take out nowadays (mainly from the Edgewater location) so I can't speak to the quality of anything else . But I love sneaking nibbles from those little pizza squares!

Probably won't go back. I ordered a simple 8 inch pizza at the counter. I paid and they said they would call my name in 20 minutes. Seems a bit long for pizza and they weren't very busy. Long story short, it took 1 hour and 20 min to get my food. I asked repeatedly if it was ready during that time, but they could only say they would check. When they finally checked over an hour later, they put it in the oven right away. They apologized and said they would discount my food, but I'm not sure how that would happen when they didn't take my card again and I wasn't able to get anyone to acknowledge the issue. All very bizarre on how it went down.

It's a chain, Foodsnob is right. It's eh... nothing too great. I had a large salad and Neil had some hot food but it was nothing special. It was ok, it was kinda italian, and they had pizza. This would be a good place if you had a coupon and a few folks to feed. That's it. The service was not worth it.

So many things went wrong with our lunch today. I always order my son's food when we sit down because he gets a little antsy. This order was not put in and his food did not come until after our appetizers. Our server did not write down our order and brought me out the wrong pizza and forgot a salad all together. The food was only ok. We ordered 5 different little pizzas and none of them were very good. The salads looked good and I think if I ever have to go back that is what I will be getting. Also if you are a pizza place a kids pizza should be on the kids menu...I was excited initially because they do have sweet tea, which is very hard to come by around here, but not really a good enough reason to go back.

When I moved into my Apartment up the street, I received some coupons for free pizza from this place so I gave it a shot. Three shots actually (I got a couple coupons) and I sampled pizza and a Calzone. The crust is downright bad. It's sort of buttery and greasy, and the pepperonis were cut very thick, and so they didn't really cook on my pizza. They have a full menu of other Italian entrees but I have not tried any of them and don't intend to. Skip this place.
