Have to admit right off that I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, esp. the Chipotle/Spice 6/whatever pseudo-ethnic "build your own" places. Was taken here by friends this weekend, they said it was really good. Well, for this type of place, it wasn't bad; service was friendly. Pita bread was pretty fresh, generous w/ the fillings.

Ehh.. Food was allright for being Mediterranean. Service a little slow and confusing.. For the price it was allright. I did enjoy the ambience tho.

None of the food had any taste and was overpriced. Even the hummus had an icky flavor and hummus is pretty hard to screw up.

First time at garbanzos. The service and staff were friendly, but the food is really quite bad. The kabobs were ok, but all the sides tasted cheap, bland and not very fresh -- quite disappointed as I was hoping this could become a new haunt for me and my family. My recommendation is to head to Zoe's - similar price and the food Is so much better.

I should have known, my first thought walking through the door with my wife was "Damn, I really miss 3 brothers that use to be here." But I was in the mood for a Gyro Sandwich so we decided to give the place a try. Restaurant was immaculate, employees were super nice and engaging with us and other customers. So, what was missing you ask? The food! We noticed right away that the lamb meat was very thin and almost completely tasteless. Any place that prides itself on being a Mediterranean Grill, you have to have a good Gyro! That also have cucumbers in the Gyro which is very odd and added no taste to a already bland sandwich. The baked chips we got as a side were actually really good. I see alot of potential in this store. They have a awesome location being in the Festival of Riva shopping center. I truly hope the food is better if we decide to give this place another try. Otherwise, Chris's Charcoal Pit is a hop, skip, and a jump down West Street. They still get 3 stars from me because of the customer service was superb.

Its pretty much fast food in greek. Gyros, kabob platter, greek salad, soups, build your own. Kids meals...but pricy compared to other fast food kids meals... They only opened last week, its to be seen how they do. They also offer take home sizes and offer catering. They do have a large dining room. 10% military discount. For the price. it was just ok tho. Food was just ok. They cater to gluten intolerance.

New mediterranean place in Annapolis. It's a Greek Fast food. I ordered the gyro for 6.99. Although it tastes good, the meat doesnt tastes "real." Id still want my gyro with real beef and lamb. Theirs is a combined beef and lamb that kinda tastes like a meatloaf. But it still tastes pretty decent. My husband ordered the "build your own" option. He had chicken which is also ok. There are not too many options in the menu aside from kabobs, gyro, soup and the build your own option.

The food tastes old. The man that helped us sneezed on the food without covering his mouth. The baba ganoush tastes like a campfire. The rice was hard. I gave them one star because the hummus was good. They also forgot our pitas and our sauces in our to go bag. It was expensive for gross food.

CLOSED!!!! 2/8/15. Surprised because I believe they just opened last spring. Their food was good, so I'm disappointed.

Chipotle meets the mediterranean (almost verbatim). I liked the concept. The execution, however is average. Positives: -place has a great look, neat and clean -staff was exceedingly friendly and accomodating -nice twist on an underappreciated genre of food Negatives: -Food is average at best, missing the vibrant herbs, lemon juice, and spices that would really make this type of chain work. -Chips - many will be fooled, but they are cheap food service product. They looked overspiced, oddly I was underwhelmed -Sauces are behind the counter, makeing it awkward to try multiple types. They'll give you as many as you want, but you become the guy that slows down the line in doing so -proteins are underwhelming, just not executed well The concept, staff, and location are great. But the food needs work for be a real success.

My husband and I were excited to see a new restaurant coming to our area. But when we first ate there-it was a disappointment! Service was way too slow. Both workers were serving the woman who was getting carry out, everybody else had to wait a great deal. They were both moving so slowly - it was painful to watch them. They looked tired, disinterested and seemed to not care about the line waiting to be served. I hoped the food would compensate for the long wait. The food was disgusting. Falafel was very greasy, crunchy and just did not taste good. Everything else on the plate was of the same quality. I think I just had the pickles, and could not take another bite of that mess that they call "mediterranean food". Do yourself a favor - go to Lebanese Taverna to get a much better quality food for your buck.

Service was fine. Food wasn't. Dry, crunchy rice. Babaganoush tasted very odd, bitter/acidic weird. Falafel was dry, hard and crumbly. Chicken was ok, but be aware there may be large pieces of fat still attached. Pita bread was chewy, like eating a big piece of rubber. I'll stick with Lebanese Taverna, Falafel House and Mezeh.

Had the gyro. Mediocre at best. Meat was wet and spongy. More like sliced breakfast sausage than gyro meat. Bread was doughy and undercooked. Very pricey for what you get.
