Thank goodness this place changed management/ownership. The new folks did a spectacular job updating the place and bringing new variety to the menu. It's your typical Chinese-American buffet, but done fairly well. I would say the food is a 3.5/5, with the service and cleanliess pushing it up to a 4. The food is better than other buffet options in the Aberdeen area. And, to be honest, it's hard to get a better deal on the quality of food to the cost than here. Good for a "we don't know where to go to lunch" type of day--it always has something for everyone to enjoy.

Good service only. The food is just okay, but the price is 11dollar. It is not worth at all. If you have other options, do not go

I'm a bit confused by the high reviews. I've been here twice and it's typical Chinese buffet food, nothing special. At least the food didn't seem too old, a frequent problem at Chinese buffets.

The cheese wonton are fantastic, and they have a decent sushi selection. I keep going back, but I usually just don't feel quite right after hitting the lunch buffet.

If I'm not mistaken the new owner is the one who owned the buffet in Edgewood before it shut down. It's a hit or miss with this place. I always get to-go. Sometimes the food has flavor, other times it doesn't. It's never really busy but overall a decent place to get something to eat.

I visited this Buffet because they were featured in resturant.com and i had a gift certificate. The food was the basic food you get at a buffet, but i guess since it was a Tuesday night, they didnt change the food very often, and i must say i would have enjoyed it more if everything was a bit fresher. The main Hostess was not very pleasant, she just seemed interested in us paying the bill, however there was a young man who was incredibly helpful and should be the face of the waiting staff. I probably wont return... I will look for something else.

Pretty much your basic buffet. It's in a strip mall and had fairly decent options but was pretty empty. We only went because there was a Yelp deal and it was open as we were driving through on a road trip.

It's a Chinese buffet.. I don't know what I expected. I guess I was lured in by the promise of all you can eat sushi. I swear, I always get wayyy to excited at the prospect of all you can sushi, and it never delivers! Anyway, the sushi was ok. There's a nice guy behind the sushi counter whose English isn't great, you try to point to what you want, and he'll make it for you. It gets confusing when there are lots of people and he's trying to make everyone happy. Also, it gets kind of slow, but you can't blame him since he's an one-man show. Be nice and remember to bring a few dollar bills to tip the guy. The rest is just, typical buffet food. It's not bad, but it's not great.

GROSS I TELL YA! Food was dry and flavorless. They put ice in buckets and put it on a table and then scoops it into cups without gloves. My brother found a small fly in his drink. Told the owner. The owner LAUGHED!! And said oh sorry do you want another one? My brother said NO! The owner then put the cup down back on the OUR table after fishing for the fly and placing it on the rim of the cup. Why didn't he take it away? Disgusting establishment.

This is not good food. It's the lower third of Chinese buffets. I came on a Friday for lunch. I can't believe how many people eat here. There's a great Korean place in the same mall and a good little buffet by Home Depot just down the road.

I ordered delivery after work one day, and two hours later I still didn't have my food. So I called them and they told me they didn't even have my order. They said sometimes the online orders get missed. Plus the guy I talked to clearly didn't know what I was saying. This is probably one of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had. I will never order from them again.

They just keep getting better on the sushi. Impressive. They do need to rotate what they put on the buffet. We go about once every week or week and a half and it is always the same fair. Just don't get rid of the Japanese spicy chicken. That is a favorite ;) Why this place isn't busier is beyond me. They need to start doing some major advertising or I fear it will be gone within a year or two.

I am a bit skeptical about buffets in Harford county, but decided to give it a try given the good reviews on yelp. My husband and I were welcomed quickly and seated in a both. Buffet is a bit small compared to others I've been with, but there was a pretty good selection. Sushi is available along with other generic chinese and korean food. Korean side dishes are also available. Sushi is a bit generic though heavy on the cream cheese. I tried the egg rolls though the rest of the food was not very attractive to me so I can't attest to the taste. Overall for 10 dollars at dinner it wasn't bad though it isn't some place that I would travel very far to go to. Other than the food, the service was really good for a buffet. Constant service and picking up of plates.

I was all for this place but actually walked out after looking at the bar the last time. Alot of the items I enjoyed are no longer available and its obvious they are now cutting corners.

We ordered our food for delivery and two hours later, it arrived. The order was incorrect but was still charged for the incorrect order. The food itself was not all that great once we ate it. This was my first time eating from this establishment. I usually let comments go by and give the business a second chance if I am unhappy with the service, but I was compelled to say something this time. I will not order from this place again.

This is my sons favorite place to go. Good selection of the typical buffet food. I like that they have a sushi bar that's included in the buffet. Pretty inexpensive and the staff is always friendly.

Decent buffet. Food's getting more "normal buffet" as time goes on, but it's stlil a decent place to go for lunch. Sushi is a high point. Don't miss the firecracker chicken.

Oversea Buffet is a solid Asian Buffet choice for lunch in the Aberdeen area. Reasonable prices, attentive staff, and a really impressive selection of hot foods, descent sushi and dessert make it a gem in an otherwise dull lunch region. The salad bar is a bit lacking, but who really eats salad at an Asian buffet anyways?

Love this place! They take good care of you and the sushi chef wilmake what you want and they will take it to your table on a stylish plate. We were greeted warmly and I felt taken care of. Standard buffet fare but it is the sushi and service that sets them apart.

The food was very good. I would give this place 5 stars if it's just based on the food that I ate! We went on a Sunday for the $13.99 all day buffet. Snow crab legs, frog legs, crawfish were good seafood. Other things were good as well. I recommend going on a Sunday if you are a seafood fan, but prob. recommend going at other times if you don't plan on eating a lot of seafood since it's more expensive on Sundays. The ice cream in a cup was a nice treat/ desert! Service was very good as well. I would have given this place 5 stars, but I didn't like 2 things. The 1st thing is that the sushi chef wasn't making special rolls when I asked if he was. He kind of looked at what he had and I guess he didn't have what he needed to make them. Since Sunday all you can eat is more expensive, I thought that should have been included. The other thing is I think the drinks should be included in the all you can eat price, but it wasn't. We had a party of 7 and some people didn't even drink the drinks that they ordered.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
