Wow, impressive, I wish we would have come here earlier in the night. I also wished we didn't have to leave our hotel at 4:30 AM to catch a flight. We will be back when we return to Plymouth. The music was great, the decorations were very intricate, they were not overdone; they were just right in a turbo charged kind of way. The crowd was varied, they were interesting and from all walks of life. We drank stouts and enjoyed good conversation and enjoyed a really great two man band. This is a must see in Plymouth, and was recommended by a local we met in a different bar.

Came in on Independence Day for a couple drinks and some food, sat at the bar. They do $3.50 apps everyday 12pm-7pm, which is fantastic. Wings and cheesy potatoes were what you'd expect - basic bar food - portions were normal sized, even for the cheaper price. They advertised a $3 beer special, but were out of the item. The rest of the beers were reasonably priced. There are cute little window tables (1-2 seats) where you can people-watch and also big booths, plus a large dining room in the back. Would come back if I lived closer.

I'll start with lousy service at the bar. After 10 solid minutes I finally got noticed. I ordered wings and was never alerted to the happy hour special that had already started at noon. I ask for the wings to be well done. They were barely warm. No joke. I also asked that they come out before my burger. I consumed 1 wing before they're plopping my burger in front of me. Whatever sauce was on my special of the week burger tasted like dish detergent. I was never asked if everything was ok just if I wanted another beer. HELL NO I WANT MY CHECK. Absolutely, positively, never again. Go somewhere else. Trust me.

I can't comment on the restaurant, but I can say that the late-night bar sucks, if you can even get in. The ID scanner at the front has "difficulty" recognizing out-of-state IDs. Even though being of drinking age, when I tried to enter the bar with my valid Rhode Island license, the rude doorman said I was "banned" and tried to remove me with force. If this happens to you, ask to see the manager or ask the door person to scan your ID again. I got in, but it wasn't worth the trouble. The service was inattentive and the drinks were ehhh...

Went to watch football. Big crowd, live music. Decent priced apps and lots of alcohol to choose from. Thanks to Jody for grwat, friendly service. Go Pats!

As usual this place is delicious! Waitstaff is less than enthused but we were there on a Monday pretty early so maybe they were dragging from the weekend. The food is incredible though. Steak salad is cooked perfectly with two kind of blue cheese. We come to Plymouth every August and thus place is always on our list.

My favorite place to eat or have a drink in Plymouth. I love the open air dining . The music during the day is always fun too. The brisket is a must have.

Let's start at Breakfast. Get there for breakfast (before 11:30) and you get a solid breakfast for cheap. Lunch and dinner? Above average food for great prices. Service is always solid and the food is cooked the way you ask. So far I haven't had a bad dish here. Burgers have a nice grill flavor, the bourbon steak tips are unreal, and the new fish tacos rock. As for a bar, it might be the most popular place in Plymouth. The beer is fairly priced and it is probably the only place to dance in Plymouth if you are under 30. It's a solid 4.5. I'd give it a 5 but they took away the frickle burger and and that makes me angry.

My boyfriend and I decided to spend the day in Plymouth. We were walking down Court St and this place stood out. They had the front of the bar all open and a band playing. When we first walked in there was a sign to wait to be seated, we waited about 5mins before a waitress actually came over. So once we got seated, it took about another 10mins for a different waitress to come over and take our drink order. Okay so once the waitress took our food order, it took quite awhile for it to come out. But once it did, I regretted waking into this place. My boyfriend got the Chicken Fajitas, it came out on a Scalding plate. All the food that was the bottom layer touch the plate, was burnt charr. It was inedible, the chicken was so salty it was like the chef just took the cover off the salt shaker. And the tortillas weren't even warm. Needless to say it didn't get eaten. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, the pork was shredded nice, but over cooked and DRY! It had very little BBQ sauce on it, and the sauce wasn't even homemade, it was Sweet Baby Rays. It came with French Fries and Cole Slaw. The French fries were actually the best thing I ate. They were cooked well, had a nice crunch to them, & were seasoned perfect. Now the Cole Slaw, I wouldn't even feed that to my dog. What ever they use for the dressing was TERRIBLE! It made it taste like it was no good. So needless to say I will never return to this place. I paid $40 to each French fries, so be advised, this place may seem rustic and country but their food is some of the worst I've had.

While interesting, it attracts a crowd that enjoys intimidating others. I have owned many motorcycles and the motorcycles parked out front of T bones are loud, flashy, loud, and often driven down the streets in a manor intended to scare others and make them deaf. I live in this town and will not go in the place

5 stars for cheap breakfast plus vegan options. Sorry to other vegans, I have been hoarding this place for myself. There is nothing on the menu explicitly vegan, but I order the southwestern burrito with no eggs, no cheese, add onions, mushrooms, and spinach. Always delicious, always vegan, they always make it with no complaints. Finally, a place for vegan-friendly breakfast food in Plymouth.

Great place to grab a really good Burgers and an ice cold Beer. Other than that I would characterize this joint as a dive bar.

Had a few drinks here Saturday. Fun spot with a great band. Not a fan of the food here but good atmosphere.

Food is just okay. Fun place but not the kind of place thats first on my list when looking for a place to eat in Plymouth. Kind of the place you go to when you can't get into anywhere else.

A very busy but fun place. In the middle of winter we had lunch there and the place was slamming busy. The decor suggests that management has bought every beach related decoration within 50 miles. Stuff all over the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Menu is quesadillas, nachos, chili, burgers, pulled pork, brisket, chicken and turkey sandwiches, tacos, ribs, BBQ platters, mac and cheese, fried chicken, fajitas, steaks -get the picture?? I had a terrific cup of chili and a T-Bones Steakhouse Salad ($11.25). A generous amount of Bourbon steak on greens with bacon, avocado, tomato, cucumber, bleu cheese crumbles, & bleu cheese dressing. Awesome you ask? But of course. Their Tiki Bar was packed, live music was playing. They offer breakfast and a Sunday morning brunch with music. This is a real sweet place!

Overall: Perfectly average bar. Came here for the bruins game and the big old TVs are in the back room, but those are huge so if you're looking for the game just sit in the back. Service: Very good! Our waitress was friendly, checked in on us just at the right times, an in my opinion earned a solid 20% tip. Food: Above average. My chicken Caesar wrap was not technically on the menu, but they made it work well. Also the chicken quesedilla was tasty as I expected, the portion size does reflect the lower price, though. Atmosphere: average townie bar, variety of clientele from single patrons to small groups and families, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Cons: Expensive and watery special drink!! Do to go near the 'Rejuvinator'! It's is billed as a wonder mix of vodka, red bull and Gatorade...sounds like heaven, right!? But what arrived was a watered-down pretty weak-tasting 'red drink' with a touch of an aftertaste of vodka. The price? $10.50!! Never again! Bottom line: enjoyable spot, grab some inexpensive beers and get a buzz on with your friends.

I've visited this restaurant many times over the last couple years. The menu has changed since I was here last. I ordered the potato skins appetizer, and the chicken tenders. The potato skins are definitely different, they are now bite-sized instead of the normal ones. I think it was an improvement. The chicken fingers were ok, same for the fries. The honey mustard was a little spicy. The location is along the Main Street, near the beach. However, parking near the restaurant is hard to find; you may need to walk to get there. Go during the weekday or in the winter, it will be less crowded. Also sometimes they have some good live acts that play there.

Awesome food (the pulled pork sandwich is worth every single calorie and fat molecule..), friendly and attentive service, great drink list, reasonable prices, live music on Sundays.. Throw up the windows on a beautiful summer day and what elese could you possibly ask for? I have always come here for lunch or Sunday Funday drinks and apps so I am not sure what the night time atmosphere is like but this is a go-to for me for great grub and good music.

Went here with my husband for food not long ago. Appetizer was good, we got the pickles. entree was AWFUL!!!! I got country fried chicken and it wasn't cooked. the vegetables tasted like they came from a can at the super market. Went back for a night out with the girls for a friends 24th birthday and the "bouncer" at the door is horribly rude! I guess my friends and I had too much clothing on for him to be polite and he almost split up our group leaving one person in our group outside to wait while the rest of us were allowed to go in after waiting 20 minutes in the cold. We all got to go in and once inside we notice that it was pointless to be waiting in line to get in because it was so not busy in there at all. Which I've heard is rare, but can't figure out why it's rare, there's nothing there that is impressive. But we sat at the bar and decided to have at least one drink since we waited so long. My beer was warm and another friends mixed drink was the worst tasting drink I think I've ever had. The service at the bar was good, just not happy with what we got. Absolutely will not be going back for food or their so called "dancing" in the back. Bad food, bad door service. See ya T-bones

Waitstaff was less than enthused both times I was here but the food was FANTASTIC! The nachos were crazy good but the breakfast was the star of the show. Coconut encrusted French toast and the best bacon I put in my face all trip long! Go for breakfast!

  • Steven V.

Awesome bar and restaurant decor. I was really amped when we walked in. But the food was really below average. My brisket sandwich had a store/bottle brand BBQ sauce on it! It was all corn syrup, so generic. To pose as a rib joint and do this is sacrilege! This is America! We own BBQ! For God sakes, have some pride! At least try to make your own sauce! This is where the whole thing fell apart and made the whole place seem fake.

  • Jessica K.

Good for dancing on a weekend, much younger crowd, average beer selection...very much a "college bar". But, great if that is what you are in the mood for!

    (3)
  • Taylor L.

Food is good but it's not an atmosphere for everyone. Mostly bikers and college kids drinking beer. I went here once and kind of felt uncomfortable, like I didn't belong.

    (3)
  • Amanda F.

Food is average bar food. But if you're going for the night life, second guess your decision. It is crowded and unnecessarily loud. The service for drinks is poor and there is minimal room to move or even dance. It is hot, sticky, and has a very distinct and unpleasant smell. After many terrible experiences, I have no been back with my friends for months.

Follow Up review. Took my kids and PiC here. My kids have been jonesing for BBQ since Frankie D's closed. It also was a chance to sample the full menu. Place seems to have quite the biker fallowing. While the adults were chit chatting, the boys went ahead and ordered the Macho Nachos with Pulled Pork. The dish was huge and their pulled pork had a nice smokey flavor to it. I went with the Taco salad with chicken and chipotle sausa. Chicken was a touch on the dry side but otherwise it was a nice dish. I'm certainly not saving any calories by making this choice. Kids had Mac n Cheese with Pulled Pork and Burger respectively. Both reported solid flavors. This is a good place for a few beers, wings, etc. It won't ever knock your culinary socks off but worth while and a solid value.

Perfect destination on the bike. Texas style BBQ menu, a rocking atmosphere, plenty of alcohol and shit on the walls, and it's biker friendly. Sign me up. This place is consistently good. You can even get breakfast here. The free cornbread starter is great. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you get here, but stick to what they're geared towards - go elsewhere for something like seafood. They should be given an award for putting a roll of paper towels at each table on the wall. Genius. My dad points it out every time he's there, and he's right. It can get crazy at night. Drunk idiots being drunk idiots, but it comes with the territory I suppose. My issue comes with the same crowd showing up at 11 am on a Sunday. Live music when I'm hungover is not my ideal setting, but it happens here. When I glance over though and 5 dudes are literally chugging beers and then 1 of them races into the bathroom behind me and vomits all over the place, I'm annoyed. It's not 5 o'clock anywhere, go home and drink at normal hours. Bottom line - foods great, waitstaffs attractive, live music is usually solid, and location is great. Pull the bike up front, park it next to the others already there, and have yourself a good time - just be ready for a loud and drunk crowd at all hours of the day.

We have been going to T Bones for quite sometime now. Seems like the place is starting to go downhill. The service was awful and our burgers tasted like they were doused in lighter fluid.

T Bones Roadhouse catered my friends wedding and the food was delicious. The steak tips were phenomenal! I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes, they were really yummy. The coleslaw was awesome, it kind of reminded me of KFC's coleslaw when it used to be delicious. Everything was really great, and they seemed to be right one top of their game. The food was nice and hot and everything was being refilled as soon as it was empty. I definitely have to come down and try the restaurant on my own and will update my review when I do. My only complaint was about the mac and cheese, it was dry and sort of bland. Overall, awesome food!

This was my first visit to T Bones. It was just ok. Our sever was fine, but we didn't receive any of this cornbread the other reviewers are raving about. I ordered a platter with Mac and cheese. I can make Kraft Mac and Cheese taste better than what I was served. It was definitely out of a box and had a strange burnt flavor. Pulled pork was decent. Swordfish tips were decent although tasted too charred. I would not say the meat portions were huge on this platter for 15.95. I may or may not give this place another shot. Update: Drive 15 minutes to Little Red Smokehouse if you want better BBQ!

We have been to T-Bones several times. The best time to go is on a Sunday afternoon (if your in the 40 or over crowd) they have great live bands. We were there on Friday for breakfast, we were too early for lunch, so we had a couple if mimosas & a delicious breakfast! Our server was great! When I'm in plymouth, its one of my favorite spots!

This is a tough review -- I went with a friend around 9pm on a Saturday night. It was kind-of busy, but not crazy. We were seated immediately, and then the wait started.... We had to get up and ask someone if a waitress was ever coming, because we had not even been asked about drinks yet. Once a waitress arrived, we ordered everything- my friend ordered the 3 meat combo (ribs, brisket, and pulled pork with kettle chips and onion rings) and I asked if I could get the prime rib SUPER RARE - and asked her to come back and assure me that it could be sure rare cause I only like it super rare. She came back told me that she checked and its definitely all pink. I told her, nah, I like it red, she then said, oh It's Red... I was like oh, um nah - I will just get something else. So I got the Chicken and Steak Fajitas and we added an order of hot wings. When our drinks were delivered, I had ordered unsweetened ice tea and asked for some Equal on the side. Never got it. I had to walk to the bar and ask a bartender for it. The waitress NEVER brought any. Took a while to get the wings - but they were tasty. A nice crispy skin and good flavor. Some other waitress brought the food. The portions are HUGE. The 3 meat combo is about $17.00 bucks and you get so much food. I have to admit, the meat was REALLY REALLY GOOD. Despite the TERRIBLE Service we got, the food Easily made up for it. I really like the Pulled pork the best, but my friend Loved it all. We have been to a LOT of BBQ places in a search for Good BBQ here in Ma, RI, and CT, and this place Definitely is NOW one of our favorite places. (Although we might stick with take out!!) The kettle chips were ok, kind of soggy in the middle, but decent. I was told the onion rings were Incredible. My fajitas were pretty good as well! Wish they cut the meat and veggies a little smaller to fit better into the smaller tortillas but still - the flavors and portion were great. I saw reviews from this month about their GREAT complimentary cornbread but when we were there we did not get any - and there was nothing about cornbread on their menu. So, unless in the last week or so they removed it from their menu and service, or we got cheated from that as well. The waitress had some sob story at the end about how she was the only one working, however we saw other servers on the floor. My over-all take on this place - They NEED to work on their service MAJORLY!!!! I will definitely be there for Take-Out until I hear that they might have new wait staff or I see lots more reviews about some great service people have. But I REALLY recommend people check this place out for their BBQ - it's really really good!

Oh T-Bones, drizzle your nacho froth on my chest. This place is great, the whole area is really up and coming. A new place right across the way just opened, then we got Guru down the street. I always start my place with some T-Bones biddies and beer. I park my car near the cemetery ghost tour stairs, then shimmy along the wall of Guru down an alley way covered in the refuse of ages past. (I'm basically the classiest guy you'll ever meet.) And erupt into the street a few paces from T-Bones. Best free parking spot ever! The mug club is what this place is all about to me. You get a mugclub card with 50-52 beers listed on it, and you have to get through them all within 6 months. You get to roll a die to mark off 1-3 beers straight away, and then roll again on your 25th beer. Once you finish the list you get a picture next to your mug hanging at the bar and you can decorate the mug. Then first Monday of every month is Mug Club Mondays and you can meet up with all your other mug clubbers for a free draft and some appetizers. (They just started a martini club too for you saucy minx of men and women) Did I mention the nachos were great? HUGE pile, and can fill 2 people up more than enough. Night life here is great on the weekends. Lots of hot, friendly, talkative biddies dressed like they're at a Boston club. They clear out a room for dancing and have lighting and DJ's spinning. This place is where it's at. Haven't ordered much of the food, too busy dancing and pouring beer on girls shirts/ making it rain.

I've been going here for years. The specials on wings and apps I believe from 4-7 weekdays and they require that you buy alcohol. I have never had a bad entree there. The best thing about this place is that the beers come in frosty mugs. When I have family from out of town or the country (recently I had family from Germany) they had nothing but nice things to say.

Most unsanitary place ever with a group of 7 fruit flys that made home on the straws in front of us. Bartenders put ice glasses directly into ice. What if one chipped and we were eating ice? As I am in the food industry this is a huge no no. Menus were sticky. Bathroom sinks had mold growing in puddles of water. Then fruit fly went into my Bloody Mary and when waitress asked why I didn't drink it all she answered was that happens when we have the windows open. No that is what happens when you don't clean enough. I left feeling disgusted

I love this place. We spent the night out in Plymouth for the first time in 3-4 years. We came here back then and it was just OK. This time it was amazing. Excellent wait staff, great beer selection on tap and the burgers were amazing. We each had a bacon cheddar burger with sweet potato fries. Their fried pickles "frickles" were awesome too. Can't say enough about this place. Our waitress was Nikki. Super cool girl.

this place is amazing I love it!! my boyfriend and I come here all the time usually for happy hour 2.50 for wings! they are delicious if you like spicy the buffalo are great if you like sweet the BBQ and the cornbread is soo good with cinnamon butter. CONS the last time I went the soda machine was broken and there was no fizz in any of the sodas and we were still charged for the drinks.. they wanted to charge us for the cornbread which they every other time just brought to the table (unusual) after ordering 40 wings and potato skins I was full and wanted to take the rest home and was not allowed to BUTTT.... overall I would go back because the food is soo good and so is the price !

This was by far the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. My girlfriend and I were in Plymouth (where i grew up) with our 21/2 year old daughter visiting family and decided to go to t bones for some dinner. My girlfriend tried her pulled pork sandwich first and it was dry and uneatable. Considering she is sometimes a bit more fussy about her meals than I am I tried my ribs with the same result along with cold broccoli. Since we were both hungry I suggested we eat the chicken fingers we ordered for our daughter, which proved to have the same issue as the other meat. 3 plates of different meats all uneatable. We explained to our waitress why we did not eat our meals and didn't want to take any of it home and in her defense she was very apologetic (even though she did not cook the meals) and mentioned it to her manager (which I saw her do). Her manager just shrugged and shook his head. She apologized again and explained to us that she mentioned it to her manager and there was nothing she could do about the situation. So I paid for all 3 uneaten meals (2 bites taken from each) and left her a tip and we left unsatisfied and hungry. Do yourself a favor and rule this place out as you dining destination.

Fried pickles didn't taste like pickles, steak and turkey tips were way overcooked, ribs were ok, but also overcooked to the point where everything just fell apart. My wife had a filet with baked potato. The filet was delicious but the potato was hard and undercooked. Everything was on a stick which was weird, it wasn't the worst place I've been to, but they should have been on their A game for a Friday night.

This was just as bad as the first time, we went when it first opened and it was bad We have heard it got better. Not even a little bit. My drink had no alcohol in it. The Wings were rubbery and undercooked. The pulled brisket was full of fat. We sat by the window to enjoy a smoked laced breeze and motorcycles What has happened to down town plymouth. Not like it used to be. Don't go here there is nothing good about it. The place was filthy. Just a total waste.

I admit that when this place first opened up, I absolutely hated everything about it. The townie bros all dressed up like they're in Boston, the egomaniac bouncers who told you to "tuck in your chain", "can't wear your hat", and the line wrapping down the block... But that's what happens whenever a new bar opens up in Plymouth. It's been a couple years now and all the hype has settled down, turning T-Bones into a pretty decent place to grab a few drinks on the weekend. There is a lively crowd still, don't get me wrong, but it's a good crowd, and most of the over-compensating Napolean complex brohans are off invading the other bars downtown. There is a good beer selection and the bartenders are all pretty cute, which is never a a bad thing, unless you fall for their " Aw You're so cute" lines to get them more tips (Won't lie it's worked on me). All in all, I'd recommend it. Never thought I would say that, but it's a good time and I would certainly bring my out of friends there.

This place is packed full of cheesy decorations. Which I would rather go without but will not be enough to ruin a restaurant for me. The décor was not the problem. It was 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was not that busy so we were seated right away but there was a bit of a wait for everything after that. You get complimentary cornbread with cinnamon butter slopped all over it so it does not look appetizing but tastes good and turned out to be my favorite part of the meal. The four of us all ordered different things but all the meat was a little tough. I had to saw at my ribs with a knife to get them apart. My friend said his turkey tips (that he only ordered because, for some undisclosed reason, they had no grilled chicken) were unevenly cooked, some so much that they were crunchy. The corn succotash tasted like it might have been frozen at some point in its life and the mac and cheese was more macaroni sitting in a pool of orange water. The whole meal was rather unpleasant and I will not be going back.

I am a huge fan! The portions are big, prices small, beer choices wide, and a roll of paper towels at every table. They offer cornbread with cinnamon butter that is absolutely fantastic, barrel of peanuts at the door, and they even have a "Mug Club". If your a fan of buffalo wings they offer them for $0.20 for a few hours every day and they're DELICIOUS. Live entertainment is offered almost every evening. If beer isnt your thing you should try a Mugarita. This place offers some of the best food, service, fun, atmostphere, prices, and company that I have been able to find locally. Highly recommended!!

This place has definitely gone downhill over the years-- I believe it changed management at some point. When it first open it had some great menu items and huge platters of food. Everything is pretty mediocre now. Rodeo sampler is pretty good though if you're in the mood for fried food. Breakfast is a great addition also...the oe time I had it it tasted great...but it also took me a half hour to get it. Service here is consistantly bad. The waitresses slow and the bartenders do a lot of standing around.

Came to Plymouth with some friends from the West Coast to show them "America's Home Town" After searching the downtown area for restaurants that would accommodate 4 kids under 6 we settled on this place because they had the table space. We were s little wary of taking the family in because it looked like the closest thing to a "biker bar" that sleepy Plymouth had. That said, the decor is cheesy, but the good and service were excellent. It's kind of a Texas Roadhouse decor without the major chain feel. We had burgers and other similar fare and the food was great! My friend is a professional chef so I'm always a little nervous to try new restaurants with him, but he made comments about the quality of the food and especially their sweet potato fries (apparently hard to cook). All told, we were pleasantly surprised with T Bones Roadhouse and will head back next time were in Plymouth.

My daughter and I went to Plymouth for girls weekend. We stopped at T-Bones Friday night. It was a really fun atmosphere. The bartender was really attentive and prompt when we needed a drink. All the staff actually were very pleasant. We got appetizers because we had eaten earlier at the hotel. They were very good. We will be going back down to Plymouth again and plan to go there again - this time for the Prime Rib which I heard from other customers that it is delicious.

Have been back many times since 09 and always had a good time. Usually go after work so I don't see the weekend toolbags that are so often written about here. But I can easily see it as Plymouth is really South Charlestown. Chili is decent, beer list pretty extensive and after 9pm they have ladies pitchers (16oz mini pitchers of cocktails you can share with your lady, or I go in drag if I want to save a few bucks). Avoid the 1st Monday of the month after 7 or so as its the Mug Club night and they take over the bar and no one else can sit there. How pathetic is it that these drunks have to go out drinking on a Monday night. Now I have to drink on Tues to compensate, Criminy!

Average at best. Bartenders were inattentive and terrible. Waited exactly 13 minutes for a drink even though I sat in front of the POS terminal. Food was decent but nothing to write home about. Better places around.

What a great find! We hopped off 3 on the way off the Cape. We were thinking we'd grab a quick pizza with the kids... But we got sucked in by the wafting smell of BBQ and up-front live acoustic. We were not disappointed! Great, cheap food. Casual peanuts-on-the-floor atmosphere. Fast, friendly service. Quirky, eclectic decor. Healthy bar crowd, but still kid-friendly. We'll definitely be back.

I used T Bones to cater my wedding in July. Mike was by far the best vendor we worked with. He would respond to emails within 24 hours, answered all of my questions. His team was on time to the venue the day of, everyone on the staff was very professional. I would highly recommend their catering services. They had fun and served up some great food. We will definitely go back to the restaurant to eat again!

Music was great!!! Been there a few times to hear good music. First time we had the wings special at the bar and I left with an upset stomach. Thought I'd give it another try, went for the wings special, but because there were no seats at the bar, and we were with a large party of 8, we were told by the manager that the wing special didn't apply to us because we didn't get there early enough to get a seat at the bar and we were out of luck. No apologies. No working with us. Just a too bad!! Then when we did order the nachos we found 2 hairs in the sour cream. The manager took SOME money off the bill for the nachos, I guess he figured we would have to pay for what we did eat off the platter, before he took it away. After visiting the ladies room, we were totally grossed out. Both sinks were backed up. After bringing this to the attention to the manager, he said, I know, I've got a plummer coming. Just thought they could go the extra mile. Maybe supply some anti-bacterial for us ladies, especially the waitresses. Should have hung a sign up with some kind of apology. Just thought that we weren't really appreciated as a customers. Did not meet my expectations. There's plenty of other places with good music, good food, and where you can feel appreciated. I'll pass on T Bones.

I reall enjoy T-bones and I cant even count the number of times that I have been here. The food is always really good, the breakfast is very very inexpensive. 1/2 off everything before 11:30 I believe. The lunch and dinner food is awesome. I am a sucker for the fire and ice cucumbers. You cant find a lot of great bbq in mass but this is definitely one of my favorite places. So why only 3 stars? My boyfriend and I went with my parents yesterday mornng for a fathers day breakfast and the waitress Sarah was not very pleasant whatsoever. I ordered a virgin bloody mary because I dont drink but I still like the spicy bloody mary mix with some celery and whatever else they want to throw in but instead of got tomato juice with a splash of hot sauce, then had to look at everyone elses delicious bloody mary's full of celery go by, I was no very pleased. Just cause I am not boozing it up at 8am doesnt mean I should suffer without celery! :) They forgot our side of bacon and single pancake and when we asked her about it she said "ok" then 10 min later a random girl dropped it off at our table, our waitress didnt come back to check and see how things were and she just seemed to have a crazy attitude when she did actually come over to the table. Just because you are pretty doesnt mean you should waitress, you need a personality to go with it and she was lacking in that department.

Absolute favorite restaurant!!!! Right on the Main strip downtown, near all the cool little shops, AMAZING deals, 20 cents a wing from 4 to 7, and $2 appetizers? I got chicken verde nachos, and for once in my life there were more toppings then chips!!! This place gives a damn for your dollar, and the steak tips I ordered rare, came not medium rare, or medium, but RARE!! I was impressed, deffinently better then your texas roadhouse which it has that feel, but for cheaper, better options and more personality. Id choose this over any tex mex place any day. PS Corn bread croutons on my salad... BRAVO!! Sweet and garlicky too? WOW!

I have gone here with friends for Sunday breakfast a few times, the food is ultra cheap but just average. They have live bands on the weekends starting at brunch which was kind of nice, dancing to live music in the morning. I went there once at night and the crowd was made up of townie tools. One thing I could not get passed though was the waitress attire, it was nauseating and almost made it hard to eat. Skin tight daisy duke shorts with plaid shirts tied mid waist. Seeing flabby bellies and muffin tops while eating is not pleasant. If you are with good company and in the mood for brunch with music, this place is ok for that, I guess.

Went to T bones over the weekend and enjoyed the place, a lot. Nice mix of ages in the bar area. Not just 25 year olds. The service was excellent at the bar and later at the table as well. The prices are exceptional for a BBQ joint. They give you some nice options if you don't want to go with the giant platters. You can pick your entree meat and add from a lengthy list of sides for short money. My group had a bunch of different orders, but the Baby Back Ribs and Pulled Pork were the best (Brisket was too tough). This is a great place to just do a bunch of apps instead of dinners. The Southwest egg rolls and Boneless Buffalo Wings were as good as most places. Will Definitely go back.

T Bones must be under new management because the menu changed and not for the better. They used to have 4 different BBQ sauces at the table (which were all delicious) so you'd have plenty of options. Now there are two and according to my husband they are both terrible and taste like low quality store-bought, not at all what you'd expect at a BBQ restaurant. My husband always got the 3 meat combo which he'd order with smoked turkey (no longer on the menu, same goes for the pulled chicken) pulled pork & brisket. The brisket was pretty fatty and the sauce on it was no good. The combo plates used to be enormous and came with 2-3 meats, cowpoke fixins (this was baked beans sort of a pickled cucumber dish) plus 2 sides (he would order mac & cheese, which was amazing & french fries). The combo plates are much smaller now, unfortunately. I gave T Bones 3 stars instead of two because the honey buffalo wings are still great, they still have great Frickles, and free cornbread & cinnamon butter for every table, so there are some positives. I'd go back but every BBQ restaurant NEEDS great BBQ sauce and T Bones does not have any.

unless you want to hang around white trash and bros, I wouldn't suggest going here. This place's single redeeming factor is that it has cheap breakfast, but I still go there the absolute least possible because of it's trashiness.

I recently went to T Bones for their weekend brunch. The menu is pretty basic - eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc - but I think you get a lot of food for your money. I liked the cornbread and honey butter and I basically liked the inside - big booths, fairly spacious, and lots of tv's. The food was good- you can't really screw up eggs and french toast - and they get a little extra credit for including a delicious slice of watermelon with my meal. Seeing a little piece of summer made me *almost* forget the five feet of snow we have had this winter. It smelled wonderfully smokey/BBQ-ey as we were having breakfast, so I would love to try this place out for lunch or take out.

I used to drink at this location back when it was Sean O'tools. A lot has changed since then. Good food - but not great. Your wallet will breath a sigh of relief. I've had better BBQ, but really - I am never going to complain about ribs and steak at these prices. They need to take the clam chowder and fish and chips off the menu; Plymouth has plenty of that. Hot cornbread is served with each sitting. Funky atmosphere - live music and plenty of space. Plenty of room around the bar and there are big booth seats in the back half of the bar. Open bar front on to Main Street in Plymouth. Cute and friendly staff. T Bones is in desperate need of a beer makeover. The tap just isn't cutting it and they need some beers that stand up better to BBQ. Mostly Ab InBev and styles that don't quite make sense for the menu. It is worth a visit. With a little work on the menu and tap, this place could be phenomenal.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday am. If you are seated before 11:30am for breakfast it's like 4 bucks cheaper. Got the Huevos Rancheros - made with scrambled eggs. Yum! I know it's supposed to be made with fried eggs but I don't like fried eggs so I was excited to be able to order it and get scrambled instead. Hubbie got an omelete. Tons of food, really good, fun atmosphere especially for breakfast! Oh I forgot warm corn bread with cinnamon butter - Hello Love Handles!!!! So long Persy's, T bones is now my favorite breakfast place in Plymouth.

Went there for lunch...atmosphere was a typical bar, crowded and noisy. Found it humorous that children were walking around. Despite ribs being T-Bones' so-called specialty, the ribs were the absolute worst that I have ever had. Ever. Dry, and I wish I could say tasteless - no, they had a taste all right. HORROR. My girlfriend was happy with her hamburger, so I'll give this place two stars instead of one.

This is 3.5. The server we had was always refilling our drinks without ever interrupting us really to ask. I liked this ( I wish i remembered her name), Nicole, maybe? She brought us a small pan of cornbread with a big dollop of butter on top, the cornbread was so moist it really didn't need all that butter, but it just made it extra delicious. She asked us if we wanted another pan, and we had to say no. It was a lot for 3 peeps. We started with BBQ pulled pork nachos. It was huuuuuge and filled with soooo mannny goooood things. It was heaven smothered in cheese. And again, enough to easily feed like 5, and we ate every last bit of it. I got the pulled chicken platter. The chicken tasted good but was a little dry, they should have put more sauce on it, but it was good. The bread though was pretty soggy under neath, but I actually enjoy it like that, some people dont. The fries were delicious, the baked beans were really good, tasted home made and the coleslaw was perfect! The peanuts...I didnt see them until we left, but we never got any :-( which is ok because really I don't need to eat them yum. I liked this place, it was a nice BBQ restaurant, but I would not probably come back until I have tried all the yummmmmy food in downtown Plymouth.

This is both the best after-work place to grab a beer and some apps AND the place with the WORST CLIENTELE IN PLYMOUTH. I like to go here after work and grab a PBR and something off of their $2.50 appetizer menu or $0.20 wings. However, if you visit T-Bones on a Friday or Saturday night you will be face to face with the biggest collection of knuckleheads and tools this side of the Jersey shore. Everybody with a tribal tattoo, Affliction shirt, and a blow-out comes here to grab drinks and throw down. The place is full of such degenerate trash that it is the only bar in Plymouth that needs a police detail stationed outside all weekend. Great time before 7pm on the weekdays. Avoid on the weekends.

A BBQ joint with skateboarders on half-pipes on most of the tvs...WHAAAAAAA?! That most certainly didn't get us off to a great start... So this is supposed to be your peanut shell on the floor kinda joint, I get it. The generally did a good job with the decor, and although everything fit and worked and was clean, it just lacked a little of the grittiness. Everything just kinda looked like it was made to look old. I wasn't sold on the authenticity. The waitress, Kelly was VERY attentive, almost to a fault, but it is way better than the neglectful servers I have had in the past. I just felt she could have let us know she was paying attention to us without interrupting our conversation every time she walked by asking how everything was. I like the more subtle catch my eye and we can give each other a look every once in a while to let each other know we are good. So let's get down to the nitty gritty... One of my dinner companions ordered a black and tan, while I ordered a draft beer. The black and tan came out almost instantly and had no separation line... Did they even use the spoon to pour it? Can we talk about my beer now? You are coming to a BBQ place, if they have a license for it, COLD draft beer is a must. Although it came out quick, both beers I ordered felt like they were left in the sun then poured into a big mug fresh out of a hot dishwasher. ARG! The BBQ was, meh, nothing to write home about. The smoked chicken was dry, rubbery, and inedible. The brisket was dry and charred, yet somehow extremely fatty... The pulled pork, I will say was very good and moist. The three sauces served with the food were blah. The cornbread with cinnamon browned butter was very well done. At the end of the meal, our server was rather militant about clearing the dishes. We even joked she was about her dumping the food on the tables just so she can take the plates. We paid. We left. I doubt I will be back. And for goodness sake, would it hurt you to put something a little more country on tv? Or even the news? Scraggly haired kids flying through the air on a half-pipe with skateboards... not screaming roadhouse to me... get me some bull ridin'...

I used to work at the old Sean O'Tooles that once stood on the hallowed grounds now occupied by T Bones, so this area has some sentimentality to me. T Bones is essentially a meat market. It would be your best bet to find pretty girls in the Plymouth area (maybe not in the summer, but definitely when the weather is cold). There's a loud DJ in the front where the kids dance, though I wouldn't call it a dance floor. The food might kill you. It's awful. The drinks are good as are the bartenders, but getting to the bar to order a drink can be arduous. The place gets packed at night and often times there's a line to get in. There is always a police detail at the door on weekend nights because the kids who go here are so horrendous. I hate every male at T Bones under the age of 23. What are they staring at? Take your $200 sparkly t shirt and your fake tan back on to that thing I won't call a dance floor. Stop staring... and crack a smile once in a while. Who goes to the bar to frown and stare? You do. Now, knock it off.

I'd definitely go back to try more things as their menu was pretty big. The cornbread with butter (and brown sugar??) was delicious. The prices were good and the atmosphere lively. I had a chicken caesar salad which was decent and the croutons were made of cornbread too, which although weird, was actually pretty good. My companion wasn't as happy with his meal (see below). Overall, we weren't blown away but it was good-average. This place could possibly have the potential to be a 4, but I'll have to go back and try something else before I make that call. I feel like probably chicken caesar isn't a great way to judge a bbq/tex-mex/ burger-and-steak place.

Couldn't decide on 1 or 2 stars. Second time I've eaten here. Both times unimpressed. California chicken sandwich this time. Red onion was so old and dried out I took it off. As well as the wilted piece of tomato. Rest was passable. Fries came cold. Bloody Mary tasted like a tall glass of worcestershire sauce.

I'll admit T Bones wasn't my first choice, but after Bertuccis and Olive Garden had a wait of almost an hour we decided to give T Bones a try. I had avoided this place because it looked more of a bar/sports bar type setup then an actual restaurant, but fortunately that wasn't true. There was no wait for a table and were seated towards the back. The booth was a little on the small side. In fact the table was so far to one bench that I had to switch. I don't consider myself a POS (Person of Size) but today I was. What better way to drown my POS sorrows then by over eating. I decided to give the chili a try. I followed the up with an order of fajitas. I was soon informed that they were out of rice and beans. What ?! How can a Tex-Mex place be out of rice and beans. That seemed like an essential ingredient for the entire establishment. I hate when place say they are out of something. Like when you noticed that you had only a few handfuls of rice maybe you could have sent someone to get some. Anyways in a panic I was offered an alternative side dish, for which I chose garlic mashed potatoes - Who picks that... The fajitas were okay, but didn't leave a lot of meat with them. The mashed potatoes were decent and the chili was probably the best part since it also came with chips. By far the best part of the meal was the corn bread (corn pone) served with brown sugar/cinnamon butter. Normal, I had butter and shun all sorts of spreads ranging from jams to ricotta but I was drawn to this. +1 for the decor. It is kinda Chilish but of a higher quality. The service was fast and the food dirt cheap. Ohh yeah and there is a roll of paper towels at every table.

Good service. Portions are generous. Sauces are good, but the meat is dry. I had to pour tons of extra sauce on the meats...they bring out a bucket of extra sauces....guess it's for a reason.

  • Sean V.

Great service, generous portions, and an awesome beer selection. I got the bbq platter so was able to try almost all of their selections. Brisket was good but somewhat fatty, the chicken was dry, the pulled pork was good, and the ribs were good. I appreciated the side bucket of BBQ sauces since I couldnt decide on just one. All in all, a decent BBQ place with great beer, me thinks.

I've been in love before. I've been in love...but not with a brisket. The brisket here is so good it melts in your mouth, well in my mouth! For ten bucks I received enough food to feed a small family. Corn bread with cinnamon butter, cole slaw, yummy beans, french fries, mac and cheese (creamy), Texas toast. And to wash it all down with a Blue Moon and an orange slice. The staff here is great, there is a live piano player and nice eye candy. Definitely a winner in Downtown Plymouth.

Went in w/ a group for breakfast this past Sunday - pretty decent prices, lots of tasty menu options (esp in the "griddle cake" category), everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. Service was less than fabulous - the waitress seemed fairly miserable/nonexistent at the beginning of the meal, but got slightly better towards the end of the meal. Very good possibility that we got ignored on purpose as we came in sometime between 11 and 11:30 - breakfast prices are insanely cheap before 11:30. The catch - looks like you need to ORDER before 11:30, not just be sat before 11:30. Thus, we assume that our waitress hid in the back until it was significantly past 11:30 so that we could get charged full price. Not sure if that was her prerogative in order to get a bigger tip, or if its a general practice. Will happily go back for more tasty egg creations (or to try out the pb & banana french toast)...but maybe next time we'll aim to get there around 10.

We have been to T Bones 4 times. The first 2 trips when they first opened were pretty good. But the last 2 visits this past year were not so good. Tonight was our LAST visit. We love real smokehouse barbeque but this place (although it smells smoky as all get-out) does not deliver good barbeque. It really seems to be just a big noisy bar with peanut shells all over the floor that happens to serve food. The smoked meat is over the top in the smoke department. It is like someone poured liquid smoke all over everything. It was so heavy on the ribs tonight that you would never know there was pork. They were tender enough, but the flavor was overpowering. The brisket - dried out. The sides are nothing to write home about, either. I used to love their "frickles" (deep fried pickles) but they, too, were over cooked and dried out this trip. We are all done trying to see if it was just a "bad night" at T-Bones. Clearly, the quality is simply not there.

I am going to keep this short DO NOT spend your money at this place. I ordered a two meat combo and was supposed to receive a half of a rack of ribs and hot sausages what I got was entirely different . For the ribs I received 2 and a half ribs and for the sausage I received one sausage all this for 12.95 (Waste of Money )both were stone cold . The French fries were like eating cardboard and also were as cold. The pulled pork that we ordered was also cold. I am not going to go into the remainder of the meals that we ordered I am just going to provide a warning STAY AWAY Not worth the money.

The Rockabilly Brunch on the first Sunday of the month is what draws me in. The apps for 2.50 while at the bar keep me there and then the beer club make me stay. The donuts in a bag are delish but I got them burnt once. The Turkey club I had was pretty awful and I've never tried the BBQ. I stick to hot wings, nachos, and frickles and haven't been lead astray. My friend had eggs and hash browns that were surprisingly delish. I am halfway through the 50 beer list. I'd be further through but I love mimosas with brunch.

Went to T-Bones recently when we stayed in Plymouth. Saw menu before hand and found prices to be reasonable, but unfortunately, the food is not as good as other similar steakhouses. The smokey odor when entering the restaurant is overpowering. The hostess, whom I thought was our waitress because she sat us and then took our order, was unfriendly. We were there early afternoon and the place was not busy. Was happy to realize after our order was put in that another waitress was taking over and she was pleasant. Biggest complaint was that salad and one starch was offered with the meals and to substitute the salad for another side there would be an additional charge, even for children. Not all children like salad and I don't want to pay more for them to get mac n' cheese instead. Though honestly, the salad was the best part of the meal---corn bread croutons were very good. I ordered a baked potato with sour cream only(not loaded) and I noticed when I received the bill that I was charged extra for sour cream also. This does not happen at other steakhouses, where there is usually a choice of 2 or more sides and no extra for sour cream. I like my steak welldone, no pink, but not burned. It was burned and all I could taste was char, as did my son who only orded his medium. Though another child said the chicken tenders were very good. Again, the prices were not bad, but too much extra fees and not very good food.

This is one of my new favorite places to eat. I'm sad I waited so long to sample the food. I've been twice in three weeks. This place wins menu wise, but needs major work atmosphere wise. Both times I've gotten the two meat bbq combo, and for 12.95 its a great deal, though today my pulled pork could have been a touch warmer. The prices are great both at the bar and in the kitchen and at certain times its a really fun place to hang out. Sundays they play live music all day, which is loud around the bar, but if you sit in the rear of the dining room the noise level drops dramatically. What makes this place a 3 star and not a 4 or 5 star for me is the night scene. They opened a few years ago, and I tried to go for drinks in the evening, but it is home to the worst crowd in Plymouth. I've never been and not seen someone thrown out, fights break out, girls doing blow in the bathroom, and other such scuzzy behavior that at 27 I'm so over. These experiences prevented me from ever going to eat until recently. I will definitly go there again, but probably never after 8 pm, especially on a friday or saturday. If they can find a way to make their patrons not act like the biggest tools on the planet, I may visit again in the evening. They also need to turn down the amps...the music is WAY too loud....I'm not an old fart, but the few times I've attempted to go there at night I've had to literally scream at the top of my lungs to place a drink order and it is literally impossible to talk to friends.

I was excited when this place opened because Sean O'Tooles was a dump, and this place looked like it would be a good steak and bbq Roadhouse. I've tried it a few times, and each time I wasn't happy. The last time I was in there I had a hankering for a steak. I got a fillet wrapped in bacon. I order my steak med. well, and the bartender said that would take 45 minutes to cook. She gave me the option of having them butterfly it to cook it faster, that was good because I was on my way to a job interview. As I said, I like my steak medium well, and it came out WELL done. It was dry, and had very little flavor. The mashed potato's had a funky taste to them. The salad, was fresh and a good starter, and the cornbread with the brown sugar cinnamon butter was great. I almost wish that was my meal. I like the choices of beer they keep on tap. I went with a Harpoon Raspberry UFO, and they put fresh raspberries in the glass. The bartender could have spent a little more time entertaining the other guests that weren't the regular or maybe boyfriend in the corner. I don't expect her to swallow fire behind the bar while singing "American Pie" but it's nice to get a friendly conversation, especially when it's quiet. Anyway, I'd go back there for another drink, but I wouldn't spend money on a meal there. If you're sick of all the seafood joints down in Plymouth it's at least a change of pace.
