LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. LOVE THEIR BURGER NIGHTS. Food is very fresh, delicious and unique! Waitress was pleasant and helpful. Music on Wednesday nights is awesome. Everything was so good and I really enjoyed. I will be sure to detour from some beach trips this summer to come back!!

First of all the place is in a great location and seems to have a fun atmosphere inside. I'm not much of a beer expert so when presented with the drink menu, I was immediately searching for my go-to wheat ale. The place is apparently known for lots of fancy craft beers but I explained to the waitress that I just wanted a wheat ale. She peered over my shoulder as I scanned and said "there's a wheat ale" to which I responded, "sure!". Apparently I didn't look close enough and the waitress didn't bother to explain that the wheat ale I chose had chili pepper in it and for me it was not drinkable. I didn't complain since if I had studied the menu more I might have seen the description better. So here comes the Shepherd Pie Tots. Simply delicious and genius. Crispy on the outside with creamy mashed, corn and beef on the inside, sitting in yummy gravy with some shaved parm on top. We both ordered burgers and to my surprise did not come with fries. The menu is written very minimalistic and doesn't really have much description. Actually at first we were both confused if we were actually ordering burgers because no where did it say "burger". It just said in the hand or something quirky like that. Well the burgers were cooked perfectly. Mine had blue cheese, bacon jam and onions with what seemed like homemade pickles and pickled onions on the side. The big disappointment here was the bun. It was literally a bun that you would get at the grocery store...like an 8 pack for 99 cents. Drab. It was like buying a Mercedes and putting Walmart plastic hub caps on it. This place could be great. Please have a more educated wait staff that is eager to explain the menu (like hey, that burger doesn't come with anything!)...and for goodness sake, please get some decent buns for your burgers!

This place is so chill! I came here this weekend for my third time, and again had a really enjoyable evening. If I had to categorize the atmosphere I'd say "hipster sports bar" haha! There are tv's with the game on but not obnoxiously located EVERY single place you look. I think it's the red and black paint scheme, in addition to the bar set up, that gives it kind of a hipster feel. In any case, they have a shitload of a amazing beers on tap, including many local, obscure labels. The food selection is a little on the eclectic side- there's the usual American pub food, but with an upscale twist. Nosh is Plymouth's little diamond in the rough.

We really had high expectations for fresh local food with a changing menu. It felt a bit aspirational. It wasn't awful or anything - this is a common trend in my Plymouth reviews - nothing stands out as horrible around here, it's just that nothing stands out. So when I read about this place I had high hopes...gastropub...local...these are words I like to hear. Spouse had a burger that he reported as being "OK. Nothing amazing". I had some fish that was properly cooked, which makes me happy, but felt overbearing in some spots and underwhelming in others. I was supposed to have a vegetable that was missing - so I got no vegetable at all. When you work with local sources, you've got to have a back-up plan. If the veg isn't available, what do you put on the plate? "More rice" shouldn't be the answer. Most of the menu felt heavy and flavor saturated. I'd love to se someone local get really creative with lightning and brightening food instead of this trend toward heavy and flavor laden. Maybe it will be Nosh that does it. I live in hope.

It was a quiet Tuesday night. We came in, and the guy at the bar told us to sit wherever we wanted. The waitress came over. She took our drink order, and gave us our menus. We started with the Shepherd Pie tots, and they were delicious. I ordered the Dan-wich, it was a chicken sandwich with an interesting twist. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular.

I don't think I've ever sat down for a meal at a restaurant, and literally had to go to another restaurant afterwards because the entire party is still starving We sat down on a Sunday and only the brunch menu was available all day. It must have been an off day, because service was extremely slow (we were one of the only parties in the restaurant, and there were multiple waitresses, yet we had a hard time getting service to put in our order, get the check, etc.). Everything is pretty a la carte, and portions were meager. The burgers were tasty, but small (this is coming from someone who typically can barely eat half a burger). The fries with aioli were delish, but barely enough for one person, and certainly not enough to share, though they were listed under the "Share" portion of the menu. Everyone ordered burgers (because the brunch menu was so limited) and fries and we were still starving. We debated putting in a second order of food, but we knew we'd have to order many more plates because the portions were just so tiny and we'd still be hungry and not satiated. Extremely underwhelming. Perhaps go here if you're not at all hungry?

Seriously disappointed. Local food with no freezer or microwave should equal fresh and creative menu. Have stopped in for drinks and had high expectations when we went back for lunch. Had to leave as there was NOTHING on the menu for us to eat. "We ran out of the veggie burger and there's nothing else we can make for you" was the response to our question about veggie options. Fail.

Pretty awesome! This place has a laid back atmosphere with good music playing. And the food is impressive. I had the corn and chicken chowder as well as the potato/ sausage hash. The chowder was awesome. Dotted with Fresno chilis, scallions, and an infused oil, it had real depth of flavor. You can tell these guys take their food seriously. The only bad thing is that I probably won't be back to the area since we live 8 hours away. Go in my stead and enjoy!!

Nosh was all kinds of awesome. The ingredients were locally sourced wherever possible and freshly prepared (the waitress said they don't even have a freezer... everything they serve is made then and there), and as others have said, the menu is funky and eclectic but not weird or offputting. Even the pickiest of eaters will find something on the menu to appeal... my son is proof of that; there wasn't a proper chicken finger selection on the menu, but they basically cut up the piece of breaded chicken they used in the chicken sandwich and though initially wary, he liked it a lot. Considering how picky he is and how they're not a place really geared toward kids, that was huge. Definitely a "Mikey discovering Life cereal" moment. I had the Nosh Burger myself (no cheese)... very likely the best burger I've ever had in my life. Though I probably could have ordered just the fried Brussels sprouts as my meal and been perfectly happy. Bacon salt and lemon aioli, friends... more things in life would benefit from that combo. Fantastic beer selection, too. Just some really top notch craft selections. Basically, if I find myself in the general vicinity of Plymouth again, I will go out of my way to go back.

Excellent. Our server was extremely familiar with the menu and gave great suggestions. I had the Nosh Burger and it was so good. The meat is ground on the premises and even the condiments are handmade. It was a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I felt very comfortable bringing my mother and her partner there as they were visiting from out of town. I also brought my almost one year old son and he didn't feel out of place. It is nice to have a family friendly place without talking animals or people singing corporate contrived birthday songs every fifteen minutes. This is also a place that would be great for friends or a date night. We will definitely be back.

Maybe I had higher expectations for this place? My husband, my mother, and I came one Saturday afternoon after walking around downtown Plymouth. It looked highly rated on Yelp and a friend of ours recommended it. Can I be the next Yelper to say that I don't understand the decor. The orange is a little weird, and the wall art looked like stencils, graffiti, Banksy, Star Wars, and sketches. I just didn't get it. The restaurant was also really dark which gave off a weird vibe. We quickly sat down and although our server was nice, our drinks took forever. I had a sangria and my mom had a beer. We ordered the tots as an appetizer and they also took well more than 20 minutes to arrive. The bar and restaurant was not busy, and yet there was an acoustic musician who had no concept of how loud he was playing in the corner. The menu looked good, but maybe I was expecting something a little more expansive? I think what really struck me was the amount of ingredients and trendy names for each menu item. It just seemed overwhelming and a little hard to deciper. I wanted the panfried chicken sandwich only with the chicken burger patty instead. No problem. The sandwich was good, but for the list of ingredients listed, it tasted rather plain. I couldn't tell if it was fresh American cheese or a Kraft single. It was good, not great. I don't know if I would come back for lunch or dinner with friends. However, the bar set up was pretty unique and I would gladly come back to catch a game on one of the TVs and have a cocktail or two with some apps.

After a day of sightseeing in Plymouth I decided to stop by this little treat. The exterior is a bit deceiving with respect to how large the place actually is. The tavern is relatively small. It's cozy and dark. It felt like the bar itself took up a large portion of the space. I have no objections to this as the bevy selection was not lacking. They had good selection of beer as well as cocktails. I was very impressed with the menu and disappointed that I could not have more things. If I ever have another opportunity, id order the Poutine... Important to know is that all the burgers come with no sides. They expect you to purchase the sides separately, which isn't a big deal. I had the truffle burger and a side of loaded tater tots. The burger was cooked well, the carmelized onions were flavorful. The truffle was difficult to discern, however. Still a very respectable burger. The loaded tots were amaze. Imagine mashed potatoes with scallions and cheese rolled up into a ball, breaded, and fried. That's the loaded tater tot. It was crispy, warm, and went well with the sauce provided. Up until this point, it was all good. And then dessert happened. Nosh has three desserts, every one of which comes in a mason jar. I was very disappointed in the "magic bar." It was basically a jar of whip cream with some fixins thrown in. While in theory, it sounds good, in practice, it was a just a slop. Mediocre at best. Still if you like beer and burgers I recommend it.

Their French toast was excellent and the shepherd's pie tots were very toasty. All in all a very good meal

Yikes, this place is awesome!! So when you grow up in an Irish family, tasty food generally is not a childhood experience (unless you're over your italian friend's house). Anyway, I hate meatloaf. Let me just be clear, I dispise, loath and generally feel there should be a constitutional ammendment that outlaws it. Thay may be due to the grey, dry, tasteless stuff that my Mom made and we buried in ketchup. So I see Meatloaf Bites on the menu. It's gotta be a trap so I asked our server if they were good. She gives me an affirmative so I order it along with some scallops. It was a juicy, bacon wraped piece of luciousness. So well seasoned and disapeared in short order. Scallops were perfectly prepared and served on a piece of Boston Lettuce. Wednesday is burger night which thrilled my burger loving son. Great place, amazing value and lovingly crafted food.

I'm a huge fan of gastropubs, so I expected a lot from this place. I was a little disappointed. The food was amazing, but the portions were small for me. The burger was just a regular sized burger. I had the BBQ burger, which had onion rings and BBQ sauce. The onion rings were plain, and so was the sauce. The burger was well made and juicy. The fries (à la carte) were good as well, but just seemed like regular fries. They did have a good ketchup with them, as well as a white sauce that seemed flavorless until I tried dipping some of a burger bun into it. The shepherd's pie tots were good as well. My group said they just tasted like any other fried food, but I thought they actually had some flavor. Our waitress was nice and sincerely apologized for forgetting to put in the tots.

Yelp led us here and did not steer us wrong! The Port Burger (hand ground beef, blue cheese spread, port carmelized onion, bacon marmalade) was absolutely delicious and the hand cut fries with garlic aioli and homemade ketchup were salty, plentiful, and exactly what I crave in a French Fry. The server was friendly and attentive - I would highly recommend this spot!

Came upon Nosh while in town for a race. Their menu is full of delicious food that is perfect for a big meal or for sharing. The selection of craft beer and wine is great. But best of all, the service was fantastic. Our server was friendly and on point. My whole party enjoyed it and wished we could go back! I HIGHLY recommend the Cheetos mac'n'cheese!

Stopped in for brunch today, surprised that the place was almost empty, now we know why. The menu was very limited for brunch, we both ended up having the lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of bacon. Nothing special about the pancakes, very chintzy with the syrup and also with the mimosa. The bill came to $39.59 before tip. Way over priced for a nothing special brunch.

Nosh is really excellent. They've got friendly good service and a menu that fits nicely amidst the other craft brew pubs that have sprung up around town, with a menu that isn't common but isn't too uncommon for the more adventurous eater. The food is top quality and you can tell they put some thought into what they're doing there, meaning there's always a little twist that makes it that much better and a little different than average. Definitely good on the burger front...these appear to be hot top fried to perfection and soft packed vs. always grilled to death like some places. This may not seem like much but it's like eating a tender hamburger if you will and the experience is totally different and savory, and every bit as tasty as the norm. The brunch offerings of Madame Croque and the Poutine are excellent and off the beaten path. And who can say no to custom order Bloody Marys???

Went there for dinner tonight. The menu does NOT match the website menu. Mac and cheese great. Panko fried chicken - ok. drinks were ok - just a bit too sweet. Bartenders great. Waitstaff ok.

  • Nancy W.

I found this by accident, but am spreading the word. Sitting at the bar for a quick bite, the bartender recommended the burger, which I got, along with a salad. The flavors were bright, original and varied. The salad had Bibb lettuce, corn bread croutons and a wonderful dressing. The burger was delicious. I don't get down to Plymouth often, but I recommended this place to everyone at the wedding I was going to later that day. This is so NOT a tourist trap! The location is off to the side of a building, next to a parking lot, so if you go looking for the first time, look around the corner of the (I think) pizza place.

So let me start by saying that I am actually friends with the owner Mike. I said that right off because I don't want anyone thinking this is in anyway a biased review due to that fact. This is completely factual, and based on my experiences at his restaurant ONLY. NOSH is truly a rare find. Mike gets all the ingredient from local farmers and butchers, so not only will you be ensured the freshest food around, but you can also rest assure that the quality is top notch and helping to support our local economy. Because NOSH buys local the menu is always changing, not only to keep it "fresh and different" but also because the menu adapts to what is in season and available. It is hard to rate a specific dish because of the ever changing menu but I have yet to have a bad meal here. If you have yet to try NOSH, I suggest you go and form your own opinion. You really need to try this place!!! TOP NOTCH.

The food is outstanding. Service is probably the best on the south shore. The Mac and cheese is the best I have ever had, a must to try. The apps are all excellent as well. Everything is made on site, even the ketchup. Beer selection is pretty decent as well. It's a place you will go back to time and time again.

Amazing! My 17 year old goes for the burger. I go for everything else. Decent t prices, perfect food, and the best Bloody Mary. My only complaint is that the At-At was painted over. Whether I spend Sunday morning gs analyzing football or a bite at the bar with a date, no place I would rather be. Quality food and a friendly atmosphere.

  • Sophia H.

Nosh was amazing. The food and service were great. It's atmosphere is awesome and inviting. I personally didn't have a cocktail but they looked beautiful. I ordered a BBQ Burger with fries. It's a bit pricy but in this case it's really all about the quality. The fries were heavenly. Sadly though, the aioli was a bit bland. It could have used some more salt. Another downside was that I found the music to be a tad too loud for my taste, although everyone else in my family didn't mind it. Overall an amazing dining experience. Can't wait to come back!

Dat. Burger. I have eaten a lot of burgers all over the US and I was impressed. I ordered it without a bun (gluten allergy) and was full at the end of my meal. But what you NEED to order is the local liqueur distilled down the street at Dirty Water Distillery. Get a half glass of 'Velnias' and half cider. You'll drink til it hurts. You won't even regret it.

  • Addy S.

Cool concept but not very well done. Drinks sound interesting with lots of different flavors that just don't really work. Tried getting 2 drinks but we're out of stuff, also tried ordering wings, out of those as well. Food was ok, fries were good, but Aoli was broken and gross, fried brussel sprouts were waaaaay over cooked and burnt, not even edible. Bar tender was very curt but nice to your face, but complained about people's orders and making drinks when away from the customers. All in all, would not cone back or recommend.

I was staying next door at the John Carver for the night and walked over here to grab a drink with my brother and local friend. We were looking for food but it was pretty late and the kitchen was already shut down. Beer will have to do at this point. Luckily, beer is their best quality Having lived in the area for quite some time and coming back for a visit here and there, I knew that the downtown scene was developing but never expected such an extensive craft brew list as they had at Nosh. The bartender knew his beers and was great for helping select some local brews. I was psyched to see the Allagash Curieux on tap which is pretty tough to come by down south. The bartender also used proper glassware for each beer we ordered. Unheard of at most bars even ones with a great draft program. Only downside was the smell when we walked in. Nobody else seemed to have mentioned it on here but, myself and the folks I was with were completely distracted by it. I know the place used to be a Dunkin Donuts before so I think that has something to do with it. Oh, and the tail end of the Super Bowl was on and something is wrong with one or two of the speakers. We were sitting at the bar closest to the door and there was this god awful humming going on that was driving me nuts. At one point I think he switched it over to music and it went away. From what I've read, the food is pretty decent as well. This will definitely be a stop on my next trip back to the area. Hopefully the Dunks smell will be gone by then.

First visit to Nosh. Heard it was great. Was very disappointed. My hamburger was ordered medium rare. Came to me well overdone and was very greasy. Lettuce looked like it had been on floor and walked on for a while, My wife's BLT same problem only in reverse. Bacon was hardly cooked at all. Lettuce was worse than mime. Very bad experience. Would never go there again. The server was great, but what could she do.

We started with the fried brussell sprouts and they were out of this world. Crispy, salty and addictive! I had the Royale burger, it was tasty and the proportions were just right. We shared an order of fries, it was enough for 2 to share. My Mom had the pulled pork sandwich, she was happy with her selection. I'd definitely put Nosh on my regular rotation of local restaurants.

walked in the front door and a woman in front of me held it open for my wife and 2 children. 1 child is a 8 year old handicap. it was 5 o'clock about 6 people at the bar and of the 8 tables by the windows one was occupied. no one greeted us and had no idea who the waitress was until i saw another couple walk in, sit at the bar tables and promptly handed a menu by the waitress, the same woman who held the door open for us? I looked the waitress way but she never returned a look our way and we gave it another 5 minutes (now 10min) then left. We only stayed that long because we are not very mobile with our 8 year old. the interior is nothing special and the sun was shining directly into my wifes eyes through the unshaded/untinted window making this corner booth seat useless this time of day.

Small menu that changes frequently but that is fresh! Lovvvvve their Nosh burger and their ketchup! Seriously, they make their own and it's addicting. Pricy food and drink. But worth a visit:) enjoy trying different ales and beers and mixed drinks. Live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Just singles but it's relaxing. Comfortable atmosphere:)

Killer burger selection along with beers. Got the Brussel sprout app. Pretty awesome. I suggest "the paddle", a sampler of 4 beers if you can't make up your mind. Definitely recommend getting your burger "animal" style!

  • Shannon H.

Not impressed. Cold atmosphere, doesn't have a welcoming feeling. "Adult Mozzarella Sticks" are good, not the best. Homemade ketchup is thick and basically tastes like blended tomatoes. Homemade BBQ sauce tastes and looks like thinned out A-1 sauce. I could make the meals My husband and I had at home for half the cost. Drinks were ridiculous, glass a wine a quarter of the way filled in the glass and whiskey on the rocks with SO much ice that my husband had to ask for less ice next time, he had maybe a good 3 sips out of the drinks for $10. Will not be back, wouldn't even consider it.

Planned to go to New World but ended up at Nosh after reading some reviews. Glad we did. Beer options not as varied as New World but still plenty of great choices. Mixed drinks were perfect and served in good size mason jars. Food is great. Very generous portions. Started with 3 apps. Brussel sprouts were amazing as were the meatball bites. Could have done without popcorn chicken. Very dry and lacking in any real flavor. Had pork tenderloin and turkey dinners. Pork flavoring was amazing. Risotto with turkey was creamy and perfectly cooked. Turkey however could benefit from more flavoring and a better sauce. Good service although it got slower as the bar became more crowded. Casual atmosphere. Definitely will return.

Great freshly ground, hand made burgers with outstanding toppings like shiitake mushrooms, bacon jam, caramelized onions, and different cheeses. Hand cut fries and crispy brussels sprout app with bacon and aoli. The reason I'm all about the burger is because on Wednesdays they're $4 plus. We sat at the bar and Erin was an excellent, knowledgable barkeep. Can't wait to go back because everything I saw looked delicious!

Went here on Wednesday, Burger Night. It was our first time here and after hearing great reviews from our friends we decided to come for dinner. Upon walking in the restaurant, we didn't see any hostess/hostess stand anywhere and no one greeted us, so we sat ourselves. We figured out, after we were seated, that the hostess stand is located on the other side of the restaurant - good to know. The ambiance of this place is extremely casual and there were people of all ages here. The menu had a great beer selection, and the food selection looked equally as good, if you enjoy bar food and burgers/sandwiches. We both ordered burgers off of the Burger Night menu and got fries and a salad to go on the side. The burgers were awesome! We are highly critical of burgers (we love them) and Nosh's were definitely A+! They are on the smaller side compared to what you may receive at other restaurants, but I am the type of person that prefers quality of quantity, and if you order fries or a salad on the side it is more than enough food! Overall, we had a great experience and we will definitely be back soon.

Nosh is five stars for the food, four for the atmosphere, docked points because the vestibule does little to dissuade the cold from creeping in, and the oversized windows are poorly insulated. Despite the shortcomings of the building, the experience is fantastic because the small menu is top notch and the beer selection is well crafted. I dig the claw foot tub full of ice and beer behind the bar. Regarding the food, I've not had a less than satisfactory meal yet. Dishes are inventive, comforting, and well done. Highly recommend stopping in, but dress warmly.

Overall good experience. Had the bacon wrapped scallops over risotto - it also had a poached egg - could have done without that. But was able to set the egg aside and rest was very good. Service was good.

Great art on the walls and laid back waitstaff. Disappointed with the center cut New York steak dish.. It was "medium rare" but I needed a chisel to get it cut up to eat. The haute dog, however, was delicious- deep fried and came with the most amazing pickles.

Went to this place because it had good reviews. We ordered Sandwiches, a Cheese Burger and the home made fries with home made sauces. I am a very picky person regarding to food and I think quality and NOT quantity is important! Everything was very good and delicious! The home made mustard and House Ketchup very tasty! I never had Aioli with Curry and had my doubts. What do you know!? The Aioli had the right texture, the right taste and a very pleasant hint of curry! I was impressed! This place is strongly recommended!!!

Very good beer selection. The sangria was excellent. The food was "bar food" but more inventive. The thanksgiving balls were bomb. If I lived closer I'd be a regular.

Stopped by for lunch today and was very pleased with the meal. The lobster and corn chowder was piping hot and had a lot of flavor. Great home made REAL fries were served with a nice house made ketchup. I had the cheeseburger which was the best I've had in Plymouth. It was perfectly cooked and served on a great bun that had these crispy grilled edges and was nice and neat and still could hold up to that very generous burger --not one of those sloppy messes you usually get after two bites at the other places around town. The home made pickled cukes and red onion on the side was a perfect touch. My daughter had the turkey burger and loved hers as well. The owner stopped at our table to chat and it was very apparent that he has great pride in his business. All in all, I am very glad this establishment seems to have settled here in Plymouth for good.

We have visited Nosh several times & thought it was very good for a small tavern style. I guess every place has a bad day. We decided to have lunch, & I looked forward to it. Unfortunately the food on a whole was over cooked. Very dry. The bartender was very involved with a conversation with a friend at the bar so we had to keep interrupting her. That was awkward. Not what we were use to.

I would give this 0 stars if possible because I literally did not get anything from here. My friends and I came in at 7pm on a Wednesday. There were maybe 6 tables of people and some people at the bar. There was only one waitress for all the tables, but it was by no means full. When we walked in, one friend went to the restroom and me and my other friend sat at a booth. The waitress came over and we informed her we'd need another menu. While we were talking, my friend came and sat down and we all ordered drinks. Half an hour later we had no menu and no drinks, so we left. Very disappointing.

This place was amazing! They grind their own meat for burgers and they make homemade ketchup for their homemade fries in different flavors! We stayed in Plymouth and we ate here three times, awesome!

Went for brunch and had steak & eggs with mimosas. The waitress and barista were very friendly. The drinks and entrees came out quick since it wasn't very busy. Good atmosphere and really good music. A band was warming up so it looks as if it gets pretty lively in the evening. In all honesty the steak wasn't great but a hungry stomach does not complain and the drinks were top notch. Definitely coming back with friends.

we have been 2 Nosh a lot. Good food one of my favorite things about Nosh is that they change the menu every 3 months, keeps it fresh. love the changing menu. Yes I agree that the music at a bit loud for such a small place, really should be turned down a bit.

6 of us tried to go to Percy's for Breakfast on Saturday morning, but the wait time was crazy long so we figured that we'd try Nosh, since they didn't seem to be too busy. The food was absolutely excellent. I got the filet hollandaise and I've got to say that they did an excellent job. The "homefries" were this strange mix of deep fried potatoes and what appeared to be more traditional fries, and it absolutely worked. I definitely enjoyed the homemade ketchup(even if it was a bit on the thin side), and every other member of my party had nothing but praise for their meal. So, why the 3 star rating? Well, the atmosphere was....odd, and not in a good way. It felt like we were in a converted Papa Gino's that's also a taproom and also located down in some bayou, but also has fake Banksy graffiti, no decorating scheme, and an inexplicable sandwich section of the menu in which everything is named after a Star Wars character. Our waitress was ok, but couldn't give us any more information on the baffling sandwich naming system. I definitely liked that the menu had some interesting choices on there, and we absolutely got a better meal than if we had waited for Percy's. Still, I don't think that this will become a regular haunt for me.

Beer - excellent. Service - Excellent. Appetizers - Poutine and Thanksgiving Tots - Excellent. The Main course - Not so excellent. Still, if you're going for a drink and some apps or dessert, I recommend it.

We had dinner there not too long ago with several other couples. They have a great drink menu and the food was very good. I had a combination of appetizers for my meal and everything was yummy. The atmosphere is always fun. This is a great casual location to get delicious food.

Nosh is a great surprise in Plymouth. It's come of out nowhere to become one of my favorites spots in town. The food is excellent and the menu appears to change seasonally. All the food is house made, so you're not getting cisco chicken fingers and frozen stuff. There's a small selection of good craft beers too. The atmosphere is a bit week, but it's getting better and you don't notice because the service and food is excellent. Also. If I had to pick one place on the entire South Shore to get breakfast this is the spot. The breakfast menu isn't huge, but everything they have is delicious. Especially the home fries which are possibly the best i've ever had at a restaurant. Lots of onions and bacon and caramelized crispy goodness. Amazing. If you're looking for a great meal, good drinks and you want to avoid the chains and tourist traps look no further.

Got breakfast today. Lemon zest and ricotta pancakes were great. Definitely unique and the lemon was perfect. not overpowering. Sausage was fantastic. Definitely not some cheap frozen ones. Apparently breakfast is only served on the weekends in the off season, but all week long during the busy season.

We haven't tried everything on the menu at Nosh because they had us at "house ground hamburgers" and we have never been disappointed. And to make it more enjoyable the cocktails are creative and the beer selection on tap and in bottles is great too. So based on what we go there for and given the reasonable prices I hope Nosh gets a loyal following so that we can always count on finding our comfort food in Downtown Plymouth.

I really want to like this place. I think it has a lot of potential. Large beer selection, specials and unique menu... The atmosphere is very cold. The bartender was unfriendly and cold as well. My boyfriend got the burger. He said it was great. He loves ketchup so he's bummed about the homemade stuff every time :) He's a whimp. I unfortunately tried the special, Striped Sea Bass over tomato roasted couscous. This meal was a special, and $18, and I've had sea bass before... but it was terrible, almost inedible. I'm not sure what exactly happened but I believe it was undercooked and I got a very fatty piece and the flavor wasn't good.. And the couscous was undercooked and a little hard. Why didn't I send it back? I hate doing that and I felt uncomfortable.. not too many people there and I didn't think the bartender wouldn't have taken too well to that. We haven't been back since... maybe go for a beer (but the drinks are honestly way overpriced as well)... Probably won't be back unless I'm feeling lucky or a group wants to go....

Went in the other night for a bite. I sat at the bar and ordered a gluten free beer. Don't do that lol but they had a great selection of beers on tap and microbrews that would keep any beer lover happy. Service was fast and I never waited for attention. I got the bangers and mashed which were served quick and hot with some nice diced green onion on top. Everything was great I will be back just next time I'll leave the gluten free beer in the tap.

I really enjoyed the choices of homey favorites and inventive new creations. The excellent selection of drafts make Nosh Tavern a fine pub crawl neighbor to New World Tavern, Driftwood, and BBC, but the menu makes it a destination.

I tried the Nosh Tavern for the first time tonight. The Mac & Cheese #2 (with sausage) was very good. I'll be back later in the week to try another choice from the menu. The prices were reasonable and there's a good selection of craft beers and other libations. The decor is a bit stark, but I think you'll like the food.

My wife and I went here after hearing from friends it was good. The meatloaf bites app was pretty good, beef was slightly overcooked and a little dry. The grape chili sauce on the plate was very good. I got the stroganoff tasted very good and pasta seemed to be fresh. The brisket in the stroganoff was overcooked and extremely chewy. My wife's burger which she ordered medium came out very rare. When she sent it back the second burger was well done and dry. It was good sized burger and did not taste bad if cooked right it probably would have been very good. Maybe if somebody we are with wants to there we will try again but not sure. But then again probably not because the prices were high considering the quality or not. Visited March 2014

Great Food and Drinks! I was a bit skeptic But pleasantly surprised. I had the short ribs and they were done perfect. My Husband had the chicken parm with homemade pasta which was also perfect thin pounded out chicken cutlets! Light sauce! Our drinks were on special fresh and light! Hopefully they do well and people appreciate fresh ingredients and well cooked meals! We want to go back and try breakfast!

We went touring our own town tonight, and truly enjoyed Nosh. We can't help you with the menu, as we had the Oktoberfest meat platter and some lovely Pinot Noir. My Polish husband thoroughly enjoyed the feast of special kielbasa and bratwurst, and I admit, I did too. Also on the platter were beautifully done pickled veggies. I've read the reviews, and must say I disagree with the "lack of value" opinions. Our wine pours were a generous 8 oz. Perhaps because the glasses are so large that people feel as though they were small? Whatever, we'll be back. The staff was friendly & attentive, the music was too loud but really good rock & roll, and we want to try more offerings.

LOVE this place! I have been here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch and each time the food and service was amazing. The menu has some really different options but also some traditional selections too. The food is fresh and the flavorful and the staff is attentive and friendly. Also, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very inviting. Definitely a great spot to eat!

There is no better place to eat than NOSH Tavern! Everything is fresh and made to order, right down to the ketchup and dipping sauces! My personal favorite....the thanksgiving tots....heaven!

Everything a casual restaurant should be! We had a fish sandwich, a haute dog, french fries with cajun seasoning and blue cheese dipping sauce, and a house salad. The food was all fresh and really tasty. I especially like the slaw on the sandwich. You can tell they make everything in house. The portions were large enough to fill us up, but not too heavy. There's also a wonderful beer selection. Perfect place to stop for lunch while touring the area.

If your looking for an adult drink look no further. Very creative drink list using great quality craft liquors. They also have a decent selection of craft beers. The wine list is small but thoughtful and reasonably priced. We each had soup~ one the mushroom and one the corn chowder. Both were made with love and definitely worth driving for. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other things on the menu.

Tonight, we had our 1st visit to Nosh & it won't be our last. We shared 3 apps...the Korean BBQ tacos and duck confit spring rolls were AWESOME! We are craft beer aficionados so we enjoyed the draft choices too. Yum!!!!

Hidden gem in Plymouth! The bolognese is amazing! My husband had the chicken burger, which I would never have ordered, and it was unbelievable! Never tasted anything so fresh and good! Great staff and place is kid friendly. Keep this place in business, please!!!

This place is absolutely horrible, go somewhere else. A group of 9 of us came here after the pace to a pint 5k on 3/15... This was one of the sponsored pubs and we chose to go here because we knew the musician playing from 12-3. All 9 of us left saying we would never go here again. The place was extremely busy and neither of the 2 waitress on the floor came to help us... After almost 20 minutes we flagged on of them down and apologized telling us that the bartender has that table, not a server and she would get her for us. After another 10 minutes the bartender had yet to come over so we went up her to get drinks. Well she was too busy talking to staff and taking photos of customers to wait on us promptly, we had to flag her down. Finally took our ordered individually/as couples instead of as a group so the food came out sporadically and we didn't get to eat together. only 2 of us bothered getting another beer as we didnt feeling like waiting another 20 minutes. we only stayed as long as we did as we knew the entertainer for that afternoon. But eventually that wast even enough to keep us there and we went down the street to another place that actually knew what they were doing. Furthermore the waitress we flagged down apologized again and told us she wasn't even working, she went into eat for breakfast and they begged her to work for a big because it was so crazy in there. Hello???? It's a race with over 1000 people and your one of the sponsored pubs, how do you not staff correctly??? It's not like it was a surprise, you knew the race was happening. Embarrassing. You just lost 9 customers. Good job.

Great experience! Had a nice date at Nosh. Music rocked softly. Awesome Korean short rib tacos Kimchi was a nice touch. Barkeeper was friendly and gave me precision service. Will go again.

Good craft beer selection; lots of inventive cocktails (haven't tried these, though). Food not so good: wild mushroom soup too salty; beef stroganoff was tough (I've never before eaten a stroganoff that was actually tough), encrusted with unnecessary cheese and reeking of mustard; NY strip steak also tough and overdone.

We live in Plymouth and eat at a lot of the local restaurants , we were excited to try out Nosh but overall the place is a let down. The food is OK but nothing special and really overpriced, I can go to KKaties across the street for about half the cost. I had the bacon explosion which was $17 and it was basically bacon wrapped sausage with some BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes - way overpriced, I expected better. This place will not last long unless they either lower prices or get the menu up a level.

Got a chance to pop into Nosh Tavern this past holiday week! The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. The food was surprisingly GREAT (lip smacking) ! We tried several appetizers and had a couple of drinks. I can't wait to go back and try the entrees.....

I've been to Nosh twice in two weeks I loved it so much. First it was "a stop to eat along the way" and the second time we made it a destination with 6 other friends. Each person at the table had a different dish (meatloaf, chicken Milanese, Mac N Cheese, lollipop wings, mac n cheese bites and two of the specials which I cant remember but were delicious!!) The week before we had potato puffs with whipped potato inside which I was disappointed they didn't have again. The bar had a number of specialty cocktails that were reasonably priced and went down EXTREMELY EASY!! No problems getting seating even though it was busy. Service was good and the servers were fun and easygoing. You won't be disappointed.

I read about this place. I liked that I read that they use fresh ingredients and have some interesting menu items. It's VERY seldom that my husband and I go out for dinner alone so I was hoping this was a place we could both enjoy. Very limited menu!! We should have gone to new world tavern down the street again, better atmosphere and we haven't tried their food yet. Anyways, he ordered spring rolls. My husband eats anything. If something is not ok to him I know it's really bad! He said they tasted like his mom's Christmas cookies were accidentally mixed in with them. I could see and smell a lot of cloves, wayyy overboard. My burger was on soggy tasteless bread and the burger didn't stay together at all. I gave up on it which is ok since I can get the SAME FLAVOR with less mess on MCDONALDS dollar menu! Seriously! The French fries looked good but there was some weird sweet/spice flavor aftertaste. My husband did enjoy the beer sampler paddle but not enough to go back. I'm very disappointed :( the waitress was nice but she should find somewhere that doesn't suck to work! For $43 we paid for the beer, a soda, burger and appetizer we could have gotten a variety of 6 packs, a mcchicken and a mcdouble and saved ourselves the trouble. I have 4 kids so I never make time to review unless something really makes an impression. be warned. I've been meaning to try lucioso's. I wish we had. Hopefully it will be worth getting a babysitter, nosh definitely was not. :(

Just went here for lunch with my husband and two young kids. The prices were incredibly reasonable. The sandwiches were delish and the fries and homemade ketchup were amazing. Need to figure out how to make that ketchup. Why only 4 stars? The space itself is pretty stark. Could definitely use a makeover. Looking forward to going back for dinner.

Food was excellent and great drink selection. We had chicken marsala and the seared scallop and braised pork belly special, the portions were a little small but the quality was excellent. I love that they focus on local food and everything is made in house, no frozen/processed food. Desserts in mason jars are a great idea and very tasty. The atmosphere is not as upscale as the menu, not bad just didn't really seem to match. The service was great and we will definitely be back. Really interested in trying breakfast.

I have to agree about the best burger in Plymouth. I ordered it before I read the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I also love the homemade ketchup and aioli that came with the frites. Awesome beer selection for those of us who don't drink bud light. I had to give 4 stars cause I still see honeydew when I walk in (drive thru window included). All in all, we'll be back.

Everything we ate was really excellent. The tomato soup was creamy with basil. The burger had crisp bacon and was cooked as ordered. I had the lobster mac & cheese with lots of lobster, creamy cheese, and truly scrumptious breadcrumbs. The best meal we've had in a while! Also an outstanding beer selection.

It was good, not great. I had the burger (they have a somewhat limited menu) and it tasted exactly like a McDonald's cheeseburger. I mean when McDonald's is good..but still strange. Gotta be that yellow cheese. Everything is a la carte...which is what makes me say its just ok. Food is decent but once you add on sides its kinda expensive for what you get. Drinks were good, good beer selection. I'd go back probably. The one thing that annoyed me was that our waiter was also the bartender...on a saturday night. He was so busy that he came over and one of my friends asked for a beer and the guy never made eye contact with me and my empty glass and didn't ask if I wanted anything. When he came back with friend's beer i had to practically grab him to get him to take my order and his excuse was that he was working the bar too. Well sorry, not my problem. Ask the whole table if they need drinks then and you'd save time!

after a second visit...still same review, burger was mooing, and the ketchup was runny tomato sauce, this time the adult moz sticks came with no sauce for dipping which made them very dry....the mac and cheese was good.....

So far, we've eaten here twice since moving back to the area and have been truly impressed each time. The food is phenomenal (try the "chicken burger episode #2") and the service is friendly and efficient. Excellent drinks too! It was fairly quiet there both times we went, so please eat here! I think it is one of Plymouth's best kept secrets!!

This place is the next best thing in Plymouth and I'd highly suggest it to anyone looking for amazing food, large selection of beer/special drinks and a great atmosphere! My husband and I got there for lunch and there was live music and not many people. We say at the bar, which was big and had comfy seats, and were greeted immediately. We both got a beer on tap which were both awesome. We ordered the meatloaf apps which took a little bit of time. When they came out, it was well worth waiting a little longer! They were unbelievable! Tender and they fell apart, the bacon they were wrapped in was perfect and the homemade BBQ was delicious! Came with pickles veggies which was a good mixture! I got the nosh burger episode 2. It was perfect! Lettuce, tomato, bacon jam, caramelized onion and smoked Gouda on a handmade patty...it was mouth watering! The homemade chips topped it off! My husband got a chicken burger with lettuce, avocado and a nice sauce on it that was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. The price is decent for the area but is well worth the food and experience. This place is a great place for just about anyone and everyone will enjoy. Can't wait to go back and make it a frequent dinner/lunch spot :)

We were in Plymouth after touring Plimoth Plantation and wanted a bite to eat before seeing the Mayflower II. I checked Yelp and saw that the Nosh Tavern got very good reviews, so we hunted it down. Very quiet today, but the food was really good. Hubby and I each had the Lando. Cured ham, French Brie, Mayflower pale ale mustard, heirloom tomato and baby spinach on a baguette. So good! We also had salt and vinegar frites and washed down with Downeast Cider. The cider was wicked good! Dad is celiac and has to be gluten free. He had the C3PO - turkey sandwich minus the baguette. The turkey appeared roasted, not processed deli meat. My in-laws each had the Tuscan tomato soup that they deemed very good. All and all a great lunch was had.

Great atmosphere and music selection.....really great music. Good beer selection. Not an expansive menu but they have some really unique sandwiches. I'd order the toasted pastrami again. My son ordered the Princess Leigh--some kind of amazing cheese....two inches of cheese! Prices were much lower than expected. Bar was inviting and service spot on. Just what we needed after touring Plymouth

Tried Nosh last night after my sister Sue recommended it highly. She was right. Nosh is a winner in a low key, no attitude way. Excellent service. Creative drinks menu. definitely try the "Nosh Monster" made with cranberry-infused gin. Delicious and refreshing. Had the scallops and bacon app followed by their wonderful clam chowder. But then came the unbelievably delicious fried Brussels sprouts. I never expected them to be so delectable, but they were! We both had chicken dishes. Both delicious. Our lovely waitress advised that a new, Fall menu was about to be released. This place reminded us the Franklin Cafe in Boston - kind of hipster, but very creative food. We were surprised to see the place fill up by 6:30, even on a Friday night, with all sorts of people types of all ages. We will definitely be back.

If I ever......EEEVVVVER visit Plymouth again, there is no doubt in my mind this will be the first stop. The incredibly fresh and inventive menu was only topped by their wise and gracious wait staff! This place right here is what every restaurant should strive to be. We had their lobster and corn chowder, heaven!!!! The meatloaf sandwich was to die for and the blt was exquisite. Everything is homemade, including the ketchup!!! Yes that's correct! Top notch in all aspects, treat yourself!!!!!

This was our first visit to Nosh, and it will definitely not be our last! Décor is cozy, nice touch with the café curtains and the mason jar light fixtures. Our waitress Holly was very attentive, friendly, and was well informed on the food. We ordered the meatloaf bites, the tots, a paddle of beer samples, and the house made spiced cranberry sangria. The meatloaf bites were very flavorful being wrapped in bacon, but the tots were incredible! These were balls of mashed potato, bacon, chive then offered with a dipping sauce of ranch...omg, will be thinking of these for weeks to come. Cranberry sangria, again, super flavorful, with after notes of nutmeg/cinnamon. We split a main dish of turkey tenderloin served with squash risotto, the turkey was juicy, and the risotto creamy and cooked to perfection. Finished off the night with a dessert served in a mason jar...ours had pumpkin mousse and chocolate cake, delicious! Great find, easy location, super fresh food with tons of flavor!
