I'm doing an internship at the brigham and found this spot to be a good blace to pick up a quick bite or dessert. i decided to try the steak terriyaki and was a big fan , but their cheese danish are great. its convientent to be smack in the main entrance of the hospital . its about 2$ for the danish and 7 for the sandwich(overprice ) .

This ABP is a lifesaver. Bagels are pretty hard to mess up, the soup is cheap and ALWAYS good, and yeah, the coffees is like a C. A 74 if you will. the espresso is weak so if you get a latte order 3 shots to your medium or two to your small. The pastries are actually pretty good here too, the orange and cinnamon scone, in particular, and the bread is really nice. for a really cheap day, get a mini baguette and get it toasted, its less than a bagel and scrumptious. Everything else on the menu is yum but pricey. The staff is attentive and reasonably fast and friendly.

For a hospital cafe - Au Bon Pain is fantastic. It's usually quite crowded, but they have many lines open and try to move the lines as fast as possible. I had the Tomato Basil Bisque soup which is my favorite and is delicious. I also had a piece of baguette to go with it which wasn't the freshest, but was still good. I had a garden salad that was quite fresh with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I enjoyed the salad and the dressing is pretty good. The options at this Au Bon Pain aren't always the best since it's so small, but there is a custom sandwich and salad making station and I can always find something I like when the soup options aren't my favorite. This is a great place to go when you need something healthy and delicious to eat, whether you are in a hurry or not, while at the hospital.

As a brigham resident I either eat here or buy coffee every day. Jalapeño cheese bagel tends to be my go to cause it s not as calorie dense as some of the other bagels has 17gm of protein & a good amount of calcium. I personally don t care too much for the coffee, it always tastes burnt, even the hazelnut, but it provides the caffeine to keep me awake through a long shift...

It is so nice to have an Au Bon Pain here inside this large and extra busy hospital, especially next to the valet and parking lot traffic jams. It's probably even better for those who suffer from low blood sugar!!! Only downside on this location is the lines! It is SUCH a busy location that sometimes they run out of their yummy pastries, and it can be a while (and even challenging/overwhelming) through checkout. Thanks au bon pain and Brigham for the fabulous well located treats!

Wow, does this place get claustrophobically crowded! I came here for a quick lunch in between my meetings on the B&W campus today. I was craving something warm and sandwich-y, but after seeing the lines, I decided to grab a salad instead. I had the turkey salad with walnuts, cranberries, green apples, and brie. Brie was cut up in large chunks. Turkey and green apples were also cut in rather large pieces. However, I opted for the maple walnut dressing and thought everything tasted good for my needs. I went across the street to sit outside O'Naturals where I was advised there would be more seating - there was! At Au Bon Pain, from what I saw, in the limited two minutes I was there, there were 3 little tables and a bunch of hospital seating outside of it. However, much of the hospital seating was taken up by patients. Good place to grab and go.

No refills on coffee and expensive food. Place is almost always crowded and messy by the franchise standards. Food is just OK, if you can walk outside, do it!

A bit pricey but a nice alternative to the hospital cafeteria. Salads are pretty standard but fresh, baked goods and breads are good. The staff here is friendly and keep the place clean. I guess I've been lucky because my coffees have tasted fine! Sandwich selection is limited.

Breakfast egg, bacon and cheese sandwich is average. Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mustard is pretty good. Coffee tastes disgusting...burned and diluted. What a combo!

This has been the go-to place for more lunches than I can count. First off, the breads are really good (especially for such a large chain). The fillings are tasty and varied (my favorite has been the cranberry wensleydale/dijon chicken on rosemary bread or the turkey/cranberry sauce/stuffing). I like how they have those cards to fill out so you can be really specific about what you want (benefit of it being in the hospital I guess). Yes they are the same company as panera but the small differences just seem place them worlds apart. For instance, Panera has those rectangular shortbread cookies- but ABP has those same cookies dipped in DARK CHOCOLATE. Awwww yeahhhhhh. I wish they had Au bon pain in Seattle instead of Panera :(

If I could give a negative 5 star review I would but unfortunately you can't post anything without a rating. I am a hospital employee and purchased a sandwich for lunch today in which there was a huge bug of some sort. This is gross on any level but how can this be happening in a cafeteria where thousands of sick children and adults pass through each day? People come here to seek help from physicians and get healthier and are evidently served food created in unsanitary conditions. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you are part of the problem not the cure.

As an inpatient at Brigham & Women hospital, having this location of Au Bon Pain staying open 24 hours is pure joy! All of their breads, bagels, pastries and cookies are baked freshly daily and their soup pare has 12 different fabulous flavors is FREH delicious Mac & Cheese all day too! It sure beats hospital food!
