This was one of the few restaurants where everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I loved how everything was natural and mostly organic. I had the Boston Bibb lettuce salad with grilled shrimp--so yummy and filling. As an appetizer we shared the calamari and fish and chips which were great. My dad had the lobster roll and my mom had the fish and chips. Their French fries were arguable some of the best I've ever tasted! There were also many interesting beverages such as nonalcoholic cocktails. I had cucumber spa water and my mom, the watermelon agua fresca. These drinks were so quenching and delicious while being very low calorie and no added sugar. We sat outside enjoying the fresh air and the view of the water. Overall it was a lovely experience and we would love to come back

Came here with a group of 9 on a Saturday around 5PM and there was no wait! We got seated outdoors by the water which was nice. Service was decent and food was also good. I tried: **Nantucket Seafood Stew - I love stews and liked the flavor of this sauce. Wish there was some starch base like rice though. **Steak and Bleu Cheese Salad - quarter head of lettuce with steak on the side **Elderflower Cosmo - yum! Can really taste the pineapple and elderflower One of my friends ordered the crab cake appetizer. I think was $17 but only came with 2 tiny crab cakes! The mussels on the other hand came with several and looked good.

No one comes to Boston without trying the clam chowder! I wanted to enjoy Boston's famous dish with a fantastic view of the harbor. Couldn't ask for more at this restaurant! It looks small from the outside, but the high ceilings and large windows to enjoy the fantastic views make it feel comfortable. The clam chowder was amazing and just as I would expect. Thick, creamy, and full of potatoes cooked to just the right consistency. The salads were fresh and the bread was down right delicious. They had a great wine menu, and I noticed that they have several wine specials throughout the week. I wasn't in the mood to drink heavily as I was with several work colleagues, but I did notice some Pisco behind the bar that peaked my interest! If I'm ever back in Boston this will definitely be a place that I'll visit again.

I do love i here. It's cozy, sexy, and the view is gorgeous. I always get the seafood stew and it is amazing. The whole menu is great and there's something for everyone. Also, the bartenders are very accommodating and very nice. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Boston.

Came here since we were starving and the big sports bar (Jerry Remy's I think...) next door had a 45 minute wait. This place had no wait. So happy it all happened this way! The lamb lollipop appetizer was phenomenal. The lamb was perfect, didn't even need the cabernet sauce that came with it. It literally was melt-in-your-mouth good. The marscapone and pea raviolis were also fantastic. Peas definitely belong in raviolis, so happy I am now educated in this important fact. The desserts were also amazing. The molten chocolate cake paired with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream were exactly as delicious and pleasing as they should be. The portions were a bit small, that's the only reason a star is missing. Even on a cloudy day it's a beautiful spot to look out across the harbor.

Good was mediocre, but the service and the view are great! Drinks were good too. Loved the cucumber vodka and watermelon juice drink.

Outdoor dining, pleasant and attentive server, reasonably priced wine considering this place is on the waterfront. Great, warm, homemade bread! Atlantic Cod and Salmon dishes excellent! I'd visit again!

First impressions are important and this place is mixed. The decor is quite nice without being pretentious. The attitude of the waitstaff needs improvement, coming across as indifferent. The calamari was mostly breaded and very few pieces. The steak tip Sandwich looked and smelled good. The taste was nice, albeit some of the steak had more stringy fat than I can for.

Went there on a weekend out in Boston with my girlfriend. Was in South Boston and looked to see what was in the area. There were a few options but being in South Boston I wanted to go to Boston Harbor and eat near the water. We made reservations and sat outside right on the harbor. Can't go wrong with that. Prices were expensive but that's what your going to get when you eat in Boston and on the Harbor. We got pasta with shrimp and salmon in it. Both dishes were very yummy and no complaints. Service was good and water was filled whenever it needed to be. Can't complain! Give it a try!

The place is much smaller than I imagined. We had a party of 10 and the food came out at a decent time. Food is expensive and taste okay. Waitress was terrible she asked one of us if we were sure we wanted the steak well done, she seemed shocked that anyone would want their food thoroughly cooked. When asked if we could split the check she simply said, "no, it is too complicated." She ended up charging everyone incorrectly but the manager did come to the table and had it fixed. The view and location of the restaurant was nice but I wouldn't go again.

Made reservation for a birthday. After sitting down and ordering food, they were out of 4 items on the menu that the birthday person chose. What a unpleasant experience for a birthday surprise. How can a restaurant like this be out of 4 items on the menu on a Sunday?

I had lunch here with a few co-workers (boss picked up the tab) on a warm and sunny Friday afternoon. Ordered and demolished the spinach and BBQ chicken salad. This salad was absolute money. The chicken tasted like it was cooked on an outdoor grill at a backyard BBQ and it married very well with the cold spinach salad/ herb vinaigrette. The crispy chunks of fried polenta that came with the salad were super dope. I didn't get to try anyone else's food but assume it was tasty based on the speed it was inhaled. The outdoor patio had lots of shade and nice views of the water. Great lunch spot based on my experience. Service was excellent. Prices are in the ballpark for the area.

Five stars for the creative non-alcoholic (Mocktails) drink menu! I gave up alcohol to work on my fitness goals and this is the first and only place I have seen such fun drinks. Not everyone wants to drink so much ! Bravo!

Menu is unorganized, service is extremely slow, food is over priced (5 pieces of calamari for an app!!) Outdoor patio is nice but small.

I saw mixed reviews on this place but kept an open mind. The place is very small on the inside, the patio is pretty extensive but it was closed due to the weather being not so nice. We were a little early but were seated right away, so that was nice, our server was brand new, i mean, right out of the box brand new, i think we were her first table ever. I'm not sure why they did this but someone really needed to train her, follow her around and give her pointers, she tried, but needed guidance, and also really needed to listen to what we ordered as mistakes were made throughout the night. The food was OK, started with clam chowder that was surprisingly good, although should be for almost 10 bucks a cup, but its a downtown restaurant so you got to expect to pay downtown prices. i had the sweet pea and mascarpone ravioli with salmon, all cooked nicely, although i think the ravioli needed a little sauce as it was a tad dry, otherwise it was tasty and served piping hot. The steak tips looked ok if not a little small, burgers also looked small and dry but no negative comments, again, expensive, for the money i like the Mortons burger better. As i mentioned, the service was pleasant and friendly and i hope our server get the training she needs.

Reasonable price for food in a very expensive area. Not too crowded on a Friday night when everyone else in the area was overcrowded. Long line at Legal! I had a lamb burger for $17. Great price. I also had a wonderful red sangria. They also have a great selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks that are a bit different. One of them had peach preserves.

WOW, DO NOT EVEN STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE. THE WORST SERVICE/PEOPLE/STAFF/MANAGEMENT IN THE WORLD. Came here to see a long time friend and wanted an nice sit down dinner on the patio. The cluster fuck of simply getting us seated was a disaster. First at the bar (where we got no service and had to ask for a drink by waving our arms). They also did not even know what they had for drinks; they referred to their Hard Cider as Down Under when it is actually called Down East. Then we got seated indoors only to get NO service again. Finally after 30 minutes we got seated outside. It took again about 1/2 to get our drinks. 1 hour to get our food. They forgot our appetizer. The waitress was hardly apologetic. The people next to us got the manager because they were so upset with their meal and the manager was probably no more than 18 years old and was working as the hostess; she had no people skills at all and was just awful at giving them free drinks/dinner for the 2 hour wait for their meal. GO TO LEGAL HARBORSIDE - THAT IS FAR MORE WORTH THE WAIT FOR THE SERVICE YOU WILL GET! I give it negative 888889937363635362 stars.

We stopped in here for Post Pax East dinner. On a Sunday night we didn't have to wait for a table, which was key. The price is average for the area, and the menu had a wide range of choices. The interior is really nice, its tiny - but it seemed cozy rather than cramped. Food: I gave it a three because, even though I truly enjoyed my dinner (Lamb Bolongnese special) we had ordered an appetizer of Calamari and for a place on the wharf you would think they could cook it. Chewiest calamari ever. The calamari also came with a mixed green dressed salad on the plate - and it was overdressed and soggy. That was super disappointing and worried us for our entrees. Our entrees were delicious for the most part. table of three ordered two pasta dishes and the Seared Scallops. The husband complained at the bitterness of the greens on his dish, but a little lemon juice seemed to brighten them up. they seemed a little undercooked for his liking. But the important elements were delicious. Service was good, we'd probably give it another go, just not order the calamari.

The hostess was very pleasant and did her best to accommodate our seating request (by the window). Our drinks were served very quickly and tasted great. Once seated, we waited ten minutes and no waiter came by. At this point I politely asked a manager who our waiter was. He apologized and came and took our order himself. He then poured my wife another drink himself. Not a great start but he was doing his best. Our waiter brought our food out quickly as I'm sure the manager put a rush on things. I ordered the Tuscan Chicken Panini and my wife ordered Fish and Chips. Both dishes had great presentation and both were freshly made, providing a feast for our eyes and senses. The chicken was juicy but well cooked and sandwiched between ciabatta bread with fresh, melted mozzarella and a tasty pesto spread. My wife's plate came with two pieces of fried haddock and a delicious tartar sauce and a tangy tomato sauce side. Both dishes were served with tasty yet not greasy French fries. The view and the food was worth the trip. And despite the long wait, our waiter was extremely nice and apologized for the wait.

I really want to give this place a better review, because I want to keep coming back! Stopped in on Memorial Day and was lucky to get a table on the patio. After several minutes our waitress came to our table to take a drink order. She didn't come back very often after that. Service could be better, and in the middle of the afternoon she asked to change out our check so they could change shifts. Never asked how the meals were, if she could get anything for us, etc. Food was pretty good. Only got salads and cocktails. Will likely give this place another shot, but the first impression was not a good one.

Just don't. I went here for lunch on my birthday with my co-workers. The staff was nice enough and the location is amazing. The patio was lovely. The food was not good. No one in my party felt great about what they ordered. I ordered a chicken panini that, frankly, would have been much better without the dry chicken breast plopped inside of it. Of course, had it just been a grilled cheese with sun dried tomato, they would have to lower the price to something reasonable. To make matters worse, many of us ordered dessert and most of us felt like we shouldn't have bothered. The creme brulee was mediocre at best, with barely any flavor and no saving graces.

Stopped by here before a Cirque show. We called earlier but said was fully booked but patio seating first come first serve. The inside is quite small and patio is spacious. We were lucky we got a table inside due to a no show. The staff was friendly. The waitress came over pretty quickly and took our order. the bar area only has like ten seats, so you need to come early. I got the seafood stew - salty, peppery and too little shrimp and scallops. It was more fish than anything. I had to dip bread so not as salty. My friend had the seared tuna - No flavor and needed a sauce to compliment it. We ordered non alcoholic drinks. Too much ice so the flavor was like water hinted with a fruit. I got green tea with blueberries, Basil, peaches... Overall was an okay experience. The bathroom needed some cleaning as well. Don't think I'd be back since nothing else appeals on the menu.

Great location with a view on the water. I got the chicken panini and it was delicious. It is a small restaurant but has a nice patio on the wharf. The food was great and the waiter was very friendly. I would recommend this place for lunch, dinner, or an after work drink.

We ended up here after a dinner at another restaurant to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. The view of the harbor is nice from the bar and they have a few big TVs to watch sports also. The bartender told us how he makes a pineapple Cosmo which my wife vows to make it home. The Tito's vodka was flowing for me and the sangria was a hit with my wife. Nice service and a great time at 75.

I am surprised this place does not have a better rating! The only downfall is it pretty expensive! I love the summer ravioli and wish they kept it year round! Also have had the salmon which was yummy. Bartenders are attentive and I have had more than 1 that was funny. Waitstaff is also great, sit outside in the summer if you can!

  • Sooks M.

Came here to sit outside for some afternoon drinks and appetizers with coworkers. We ordered a few pitchers of sangria, the mediterranean platter and calamari. The sangria was good but it wasn't made with actual fruit..just a sangria mix AHH. The Mediterranean platter was good except for the pita! The pitas were soggy and some were even frozen...it was clearly not fresh and had just been thawed. If you're going to serve frozen food atleast make sure its edible. They shouldve thawed that pita to perfection considering we were the only people there!! The view was great and the service was friendly.

We went for lunch one weekend in the winter when we were craving chowder. This place did not disappoint. It was barely lunch time, and they were still serving brunch, too. I made a mental note to come back and get something more "breakfasty". Anyway...the chowder was delicious. Thick and creamy and full of clams. We also split an order of the steamed mussels. The juice that they were sitting in was so good we asked for more bread just to soak it up. Small location with a small but cozy bar and 10ish tables. Great place to go if you want an intimate meal or even a drink at the bar.

I like this place for its cute small ambience on the waterfront. The Lamb burger was good, but small in size. I would go back here again.

Terrible experience here! Short story... The food is mediocre (at best), if you have any sort of good allergy/ specific diet the kitchen shouldn't be trusted, but the location is really nice. Long story... I called and asked ahead of time if the kitchen could accommodate someone who doesn't eat meat, dairy or eggs for brunch (my daughter has a dairy and egg intolerance and I am breastfeeding her). I was told there were "plenty" of thinks on the menu I could choose from. Great. Made a reservation. Fast forward- day of brunch told I our waitress of the need for a meal with no meat, dairy, eggs. She asked the kitchen what I could eat on the menu. I ordered the fried plantain appetizer and veggie burger (asked for the sauce that came with the veggie burger on the side just to be safe) as I was told that these were ok for me. Fried plantains were just ok. Veggie burger came with a sauce that was obviously creamy. I asked our waitress to check with the kitchen about it. She did and returned to tell me that it did have dairy in it. I asked her to double check about the rest of the meal (it will make my daughter sick if I wheat something with egg or dairy). This time the hostess came over & told me that the bun had egg in it and I couldn't eat it. She offered to have the kitchen put the burger on a salad. Second attempt at a meal- hostess brings back a veggie patty on a small salad with a little bit of balsamic dressing. It was pathetic. Then I got charged $15.00 for the meal. Seriously? Everyone else's food was bland, expensive and took a long time to get to our table. This place is no good at all.

Lunch recently, a really small place but with some nice outside seating, which is where we were, service was pleasant and attentive, they were busy but not mobbed, the burger was very good and chicken salad also, good people watching spot...so pretty good, but there is a lot of competition here now...

Have you ever had your server ask you to cut your meat open to see if it's how you ordered it? Yea. That happened. And if she'd asked and it had been cooked correctly, I guess it wouldn't have been that big of a deal, but it was well past the 'medium' ordered. 75's location alone should make it a fortune, but with disinterested, clumsy staff and mediocre food at prices that are way off the mark, I shouldn't expect this establishment to survive. The two things it has going for itself are the interior decor and the harbor view. Both of which are excellent and would be exponentially enhanced with service and kitchen to match. Overall, if you're in the seaport district and looking for a bite, I might try somewhere else. And just a tip to the owners, drinks 'sweat' in the summer, so outdoor tables with slotted tops make for wet feet.

  • Fnu L.

If this place is open when I am back in summer I will be surprised. It is a wonderful location -but - the bar staff are bored, constantly checking phones. Wine selection is awful and the wine by the glass was all oxidiZed. Simply bad. Music was reminiscent of a sleazy gym. Avoid.

Everything about 75 on Liberty Wharf was amazing. Our party of 6 had dinner on Sunday night. The place is small, but it feels very open and has a great view of the wharf. Our server was fantastic - she was very attentive without being overbearing. Everyone was very happy with their meals. We started with the plaintains (very interesting and really good!) and argula salads. The pork chops came highly recommended and 2 men in our party got them and were not disappointed. I had a bite and they were tender and tasty! The salmon with crispy polenta and lentils was also really good. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. They had an outdoor patio and I'd love to check it out in the summer.

Came in on a Saturday for a late lunch and surprisingly they were also serving brunch in addition to their lunch menu. This place is actually pretty small, their small outdoor patio has just about as many seats as the inside does. As of early November they were still seating people outside, they do have heat lamps and also provided blankets to everyone at the table. I found the service here to be a little slow and confusing for such a small space. The staff was friendly and was also quick to make recommendations. We ordered: Eggs Benedict - Classic eggs Benedict, not too much else to say. It was good but it didn't come to the table as hot as I would have liked. This includes the home fries and sausage it was served with. Mussels - Again nothing out of the ordinary, just some good mussels in a tomato based broth. Sangria - Not what I consider to be the traditional kind of Sangria, more of the overly sweet and syrupy variety

Went there on a Tuesday night. We tried to make reservations earlier in the day for 7:30pm but were only able to get 8pm. We were surprised it would be so busy on a Tuesday! We got there a little early and they were able to seat us outside. The bar area, actually the whole restaurant, was crowded. In addition to the touristy crowd, it looked like an after work crowd? Now we know where to go for happy hour! Anyway, we enjoyed the view outside. We were excited to see the bread basket when it arrived. We order some fun cocktails. We ordered the ceasar salad to share and then the lobster linguine special. It had half a tail and three claws on top of linguine in a butter lemon sauce. Yum! For dessert, I was sad that they did not have the peanut butter cheesecake which was on their online menu. However, we ordered the chocolate molten cake which was delicious. Not very molten-y as it was more just like solid cake, but it was good and served with a giant scoop of ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate sauce! One thing that would have made our night better would have been heaters outside. There were two by the front door, but they were not close to the seating area and they were not on. Tuesday night got kind of chilly and a little heat would have been appreciated! Overall, we enjoyed our experience, the food and service. We will be back!

Wow- the food and drinks are amazing!! The reason why they get four instead of five stars is because they said the wait would be an hour and we waited 1.5 hours. We waiting at to bar, so it was not a huge deal. I had the cucumelon (cucumber vodka with fresh watermelon) soooo good!!! To eat I had the summer ravioli and a side Cesar salad. Both amazing fresh and awesome! I will definitely be coming back.

I am a fan - we came here for New Year's Eve with a party of eight and they allowed us to move tables to be closer to the far wall of windows. The servers were great, yes there were multiple, as they brought fresh drinks over immediately from the bar and accommodated our every need. The food was excellent, I don't think there was one complaint from the group. I had the steak frites and it was superb. The menu is pretty traditional american, seafood, salads, etc but you need those kind of places, especially for larger groups. Everyone is bound to find something they like. The location and scenery is great, it was a good choice to have dinner on NYE because you are also in a good location to head out elsewhere after dinner. The only complaint is that at the end of dinner some people came in the bar area and were making a scene, normal NYE rowdiness, but in a restaurant that is trying to be more formal it was pretty out of character. They tried to serve the people but eventually had to ask them to leave, at which point the people got very loud and upset and left the bar no choice but to call police. Ruined what was otherwise a great evening. I'd like to go back in the summer and try the outside patio, looks solid!

We went here late night for a friends birthday and we weren't too impressed. The Good: Friendly bartenders, they had the hockey game on, the bartenders knew what they were doing in the making of the drinks and they had Guinness on draft. The Bad: The reason for this bad review was the food. I know it was late and the kitchen was closing soon but we ordered the crab cakes for approximately $16 and steak tips for approximately $14. We hadn't eaten yet and were pretty psyched for our food until it came out. The steak tips were bite size and were eaten using toothpicks. No knife was required. If these things were toys, they'd be considered a choking hazard for infants. I barely had to chew they were so small. As for the crab cakes, we got two. So it was about $8 per crab cake and if they were bigger than the top of a red bull can I'd be shocked. Thankfully it came with a little bit spinach leafs (salad) or else we would've been starving even more. For the price of food, this place was abysmal for what they offered. I know I won't be going back.

No, no, no, no, no, no, NO! Hopefully the owner or manager (or both) read this review and take it as constructive criticism. I really hope they do. First - great location, actually awesome. beautiful place. Hostess- a total sweetheart. Waitress - fantastic, attentive, accommodating, friendly. Food - TERRIBLE Wife got steak frites... I dont know what cut of steak this actually was, but it was not fit for human, or canine, consumption. Terrible quality. Sweet potato fries- bland, no seasoning, hard to eat. Huge disappointment. Me- tenderloin medallions. Cooked perfectly, I will give them that (I ordered medium). However tasted like the meat had gone foul. I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Surprised I havent got sick (yet!). Asparagus?!? I'm not even sure it was asparagus - it was like eating GRASS. Unchewable, undigestible grass. Really, really terrible. The mashed potatoes tasted good, but with that much butter and heavy cream, my shoe would probably taste good too. As a matter of fact, in retrospect, I wish I just ate my shoe for dinner and not shelled out $100 for the worst dinner I have had in years. Somebody please fix the problem here.

Awful. Had a 10am brunch reservation and they didn't open until 10:15. The hostess was eating at the front desk and left when we walked in. The rest of the staff stared at us blankly. We left and went back to our hotel for breakfast. So unprofessional. Will never try to go again.

Huh? This place makes no sense to me. Prime, prime real estate cost on the dock in the up and coming harbor front ritziness and you open a restaurant of 10 tables and a bar? As a business owner myself, I can't even see how charging exuberant prices for average food and small portions will keep this place afloat. No pun intended, really, it's firmly attached to the dock so it should stay afloat. The food was average. The lobster roll was over celery-ed and over mayo-ed. The fish and chips was really nothing to remember either. As a matter of fact, the only thing I remember is that they were not better than anything I've had before. And I hail from inland, hi-ho. I'd take a pass on this place as there's much more in the area for the price that delivers on food as well. Unless this place re-invents itself, I really don't see it lasting.

I had an awful experience here on Saturday. I brought my friend from South Carolina here for a great meal and drinks. After a glass was shattered all over me with no apology, my friend asked for the bill. On our way out of the restaurant I was explaining to my friend that if that happened where I work (in a high end restaurant in beacon hill) I would have felt so sorry and definitely apologized. Another girl that worked at the restaurant that didn't shatter the glass all over me, over heard me say "if that happened at my restaurant" (and nothing else) RUDELY with a TOTAL attitude interrupted and said 'Obviously it was an accident." I WAS IN COMPLETE SHOCK. What an awful experience and such a waste of my time and money. I will highly suggest you to NOT go there.

Adorable little place, came on a whim there was a wait so sat at bar. Had 4 people in our party. Hostess and bartender were both very friendly! The Meals were delicious!! Portions of some stuff wasn't huge but the quality of the food was delicious and was definitely enough to fill you! Beautiful water view. Was a little noisy with people talking game on and music, but can still hold conversation. Prices decent and creme brûlée to die for ;-) def. recommend this place!

After reading these reviews I was very hesitant but ...you know...like to form my own opinion and I'm so thankful I did! We had an excellent experience here tonight! Food- salad, steak tips, seafood chowder, medallions- all excellent. Drinks were fantastic. Dessert was delish....although the molten chocolate cake could have used more lava. Our server was attentive, patient with us, and very helpful with our gluten free diner's questions. Looking forward to going back!

What a disappointment. I am a big fan of the Beacon Hill location, but this is a poor imitation. Outside of the great location, there is nothing to recommend it. Burgers are ordinary, salmon BLT had absolutely nothing to recommend it and the crab cakes were tiny and just about inedible. The prices are ridiculous and it was impossible to detect any vodka in the Bloody Marys. Stick to what you know which is the food you serve in Beacon Hill.

Nothing special. View is ok. Prob a place to come to on a summer day/ evening for a drink given the nice outdoor seating. Food is mediocre. Salmon is paired awkwardly with lentils and raw spinach leaves. Crab cakes are small, but nothing to write home about. Cod was nicely cooked but served in a bath of butter that was unoriginal. Rice is basically steamed rice with a few herbs sprinkled on top. I would not come back here.

Had an excellent brunch at 75 on Liberty Wharf! The three of us were sat right away on the patio under a gorgeous sun. Coffee was excellent and the girls loved their blood orange mimosas. Sticky buns started out the affair and were amazing. Then came the meals - stuffed French toast was pretty divine and the lobster omelet and eggs Benedict were great as well. Walked away with a fresh tan and satisfied bellies.

Too expensive. That's my overall impression of this place. I will say though, they have these dirty spicy Martinis and they were wicked good. The area is nice, the wharf is cool, the bar is small and like I said , expensive. But yeah, check it out for yourself.

Very disappointing meal. Ordered the fish and chips. I didn 't expect a gourmet meal, but the portion was very small an not very crispy or tasty. Fries were not much better.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy thankfully as this place is so small that a crowd would have made it uncomfortable. I sat at the bar and had one of their summer drinks with coconut rum, and the summer ravioli. The bartender, Pam, was great. Attentive but not overly so and her drinks were very good. I liked the meal and the atmosphere and it strikes me as a great neighborhood spot.

The wait staff is fine and the clam chowder was good. The fish and chips were much too salty all 3 orders of it. The burger was also over cooked and very dry. The biggest problem is room. The table was near the bar and the staff allowed the bar to fill to over capacity. Due to this I had people hitting me , step on me and just be pressed against me all night. Avoid this place and enjoy one of the many other better resturants in the area.

(It's been so long since I wrote a review. Yay!) The newly pimped out Seaport area is great, isn't it? Except for when you don't want to wait 1.5 hours for a table or pay up the wazoo for your meal. Thank goodness 75 on Liberty Wharf provides an alternative. The space is small but the walls are top-to-bottom windows so you don't feel claustrophobic. With that said, I would make a reservation. Also note that there is more seating outside than inside. The bar offers seasonal martinis (pumpkin everywhere this time of year) and the ones we tried were excellent. When reading the cocktail list we thought everything would be too sweet, but we were happily surprised by the well balanced drinks we received. They also have pineapple infused vodka which can be enjoyed straight up. Furthermore, the wine list is small but well selected. I'm on a red wine kick and the Cotes du Rhone ($11/glass) hit the spot and went well with my meal. The food menu has something for everyone and keeps it simple. There are seafood, meat and chicken options with sides that don't require a dictionary to understand. For apps, I would recommend the crab cakes (small order of 2) or the sunshine ravioli. For entrees, the steak au poivre and salmon were our favorites. The steak is very tender, heavy on the pepper (spicy) and topped with a cream sauce (served with roasted fingerling potatoes and vegetable medley). The salmon had the most impressive presentation with fried polenta. If I go back (and I fully plan to), I would try the seafood stew. Casual atmosphere and simple, well-prepared food make 75 on Liberty Wharf a great option for those who want to enjoy a dinner on the water without having to deal with the "scene".

We went for brunch on Saturday, I had the 75 omelet and my friend had the steak and eggs. It was just delicious, host and staff were very attentive and friendly, the place is small but really comfy and has a beautiful view, perfect for couples and small group of friends. We will definitely be back soon. Ah! Don't forget the non-alcoholics drinks, especially "Kombucha elixir" is pretty good.

Stopped in for lunch around 1:30 PM. The place was empty despite the sunny day. There was plenty of outdoor seating and the interior was completely empty. We were promptly seated and our order was taken within a few minutes. We ordered some drinks. The waitress was pleasant as ever. We then ordered crab cakes to start. The crab cakes were small, oily, and burnt on the underside. The arugula salad that came on the side was not dressed at all. We then ordered the steak with the blue cheese butter and sweet potato fries. The steak was overcooked resulting in it being chewy and tough. To make matters worse, the sweet potato fries were burnt! Not sure who was cooking back there but I am sure that they have no clue what they were doing or they were taking naps while making the food. My friend ended up going to the Shake Shack for a burger because our meal was inedible. We were nice tho, we didn't complain to the waitress because it was not her fault, it was a beautiful day, and we just didn't want to bother. We just chalked it up to a bad dining decision which would never happen again. Tip: keep walking, and enter any other location along the water for a decent meal. I really wanted to like this place. I purposely did not go to Legals, Del Friscos, etc because I wanted give the little place my business. Bad idea. Aside from the waitress being pleasant, the experience was horrible. Will not back, that is for sure.

I made a reservation here on Friday (8/1) because I wanted to treat my gf to a nice dinner. The host (or manager?) plopped us at the first table he saw, outside but not by the water, which is why I wanted to dine here (for the view). Instead we were put at a table by the sidewalk/street/line of people waiting to get into Jerry Remy's. Our server was very nice and none of the night's shortcomings were her fault, but everything else was terrible. We ordered the crab cakes, which were good, but they were $16 for two silver dollar sized servings. The drinks were also fine-My gf enjoyed the sangria and we split a bottle of wine. For entrees, I ordered the steak and blue salad-medium. It came out well done and was tough and chewy. I didn't send it back or make a fuss because we had somewhere to be after dinner and I didn't want to wait for them to cook a new steak. My gf got the salmon which was also overcooked-dried out and served over tasteless lentils. She hardly ate it. I expected much more from this restaurant; I was really looking forward to eating here. I dropped $150 on dinner for the worst seat in the house and overcooked, uninspired food.

Came here for a late lunch on Friday afternoon, the venue is very nice and a great location. Seems like a cool bar to get a drink, but it's very small. Steak tips were quite good, prices were good. The issue is really the service and the staff, they spend most of their time talking and messing around socially versus running the restaurant properly. They are mostly younger girls, and probably just immature.

There was no one to greet us at the door when we walked in, in fact, the group in front of us left because they did not see a hostess. Once we were seated, we waited for roughly 15 minutes and no waiter came over. At that point, my husband approached the manager and asked if someone was going to help us. The manager was clearly upset that we were over looked and quickly took our order. Once our food came out it was delicious and worth the wait, however, the service is not at all what you would expect from a place like this in the Seaport District.

A disregard for customers matched only by a disdain for fried fish. This was one of the worst Boston dining experiences I can recall in more than a decade. We waited more than 20 minutes to have our drink order taken, were seated more than 45 before our dinner order was taken, and more than 100 minutes before being served. The fish and chips, an essentially simple dish, tasted like a chew toy. The fries, all 12 of them, were soggy. When we inquired about the absence of our server and the quality of our food, we were informed that our order had 'gotten stuck behind a large party'. No apologies, no further explanation, no way I'd ever return.

Dinner for 3 on a weeknight after attending a conference at the World Trade Center down the street. + Delicious food + Our waiter got our orders correctly without writing them down. - Cramped - Host took a while to look up from his phone to notice we were standing in front of him. - Staff were indifferent/not friendly (Were on their cell phones and gossiping with each other. We left the restaurant without as much as a thank you.) Not recommended.

Here is my review. Drinks: Red Sangria and Mojito's were delicious. Apps: Crab Cakes and Shrimp cocktail were very good Dinner: Room for Improvement. 4 out of 5 of us ordered the Steak and Frites. DO NOT GET THIS if you are a a big steak frites fan. We ordered our steaks to be cooked medium rare and medium and 3 came out med well and one was medium. The steak were not meaty and juicy. This was after dinner took an hour to be served to us because the kitchen was backed up. At this point we were not about to send them back. It had good flavor but I probably would never order that again there. The Sweat Potato fries were the best thing on our plate. We complained about the steak and the waiter felt bad so brought us out a free dessert. Nice gesture but would have appreciated a round of drinks comped instead. My 5th friend had the salmon and she said it was delicious. Atmosphere: You can't beat it . They just expanded their patio a bit so it now wraps around the back of the building. I really want to love this place. The sister restaurant in Beacon Hill has such a great neighborhood feel that I was psyched when this opened in the Seaport. I will not be in a rush to go back for a meal there and I'm sad about that.

Just ate here the other night and I'm surprised that folks are disappointed in this place. We wandered in for dinner after an event at WTC Seaport and were quickly seated. The bar was hopping and it was nice and cozy inside on a cold evening. Outside by the heaters would be nice too if it were just a tad warner. We started off with glasses of fall sangria - fantastic - reminded me of mulled wine only chilled! The whole evening we were trying to guess how they concocted the drinks because they were so tasty and a perfect compliment to the season and cold weather. Instead of ordering a big meal we decided to settle for a couple of starters to share since everything sounded great on the menu. We had pumpkin ravioli, the Mediterranean platter, and the clam chowder. Everything was spaced out so we didn't feel rushed and the food was wonderful. The hummus and pumpkin ravioli were especially great! The portions on everything were just right and we left completely sated after a long day on our feet. Someone earlier complained about price - we got out of there for less than $40 a person. That seemed pretty reasonable to me (I live in Providence and have paid far more for the same amount of food in my area). We were so happy to stumble on this place. The service was great, the atmosphere was cozy, the views fantastic, and not overly crowded - granted it was a weekend in November, but hey, I'll take it! I would go back in a heartbeat.

I hate to write a negative review, being my first review. I wish I could be here now saying we had an outstanding experience at 75, but sadly, probably the worst mothers day dinner experiences we have ever had. We decided to go to 75 for my mothers day dinner. Decided 75 over Mortons or the butcher shop. When we walked in the place which was empty which was fine, we asked if they were closing and the manager let us in. I noticed a few of the waitresses at the bar -- whether they were drinking or not I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were. We sat and ordered the food. My parents wanted Burgers and that was primarily the reason we went here. I decided the Medallion Tenderloins. I asked the waitress if the steak was fried (because I'm on a very strict diet) and she said no. I also ordered a side salad with no dressing (again diet). When she repeated my order she said "Medallion Burger" twice and I had to correct her saying Medallion Tenderloins. And she apologized. After the order we had to call the waitress and ask for bread. She told us it would be a few minutes. From my parents past experience bread wasnt something we had to ask for, it was automatically brought over. When my meal came, I had received a plate of fries, steak tips a side salad doused in dressing and the mix green salad which looked like it had just been thrown together on a plate. My parents meal were fine but they were disappointed to see my upset with my meal. I called the waitress over and explained there was a mistake. I didn't want the a salad, these def weren't tenderloins and i never ordered fries and it was all cold -- I had ordered a plate with tenderloins and garlic mashed potatoes and there were assorted grilled veggies - this was not my order and i dont know how this could have even been confused ... the waitress was pleasant enough to take the order off the menu but I wasn't about to eat it. I hate to blame the waitress or be negative, but I feel this is our last experience at the 75. We would have gladly left if the kitchen was closed instead I sat there disappointed. Perhaps on a busy night the kitchen and wait staff is better on their game, or perhaps some drinking made the experience horrible, I am not sure. All i know is that6 I ended up going home with my family feeling disappointed and being stuck to eating a bowl of dry cereal for my mothers day meal.

Came here for after dinner drinks and desserts on a Friday evening. Place was busy but we were lucky to find two seats at the bar. The bartenders were friendly but a bit on the slower pace side. The cheesecake was mediocre - something out of a market. The ambiance of the place was a bit dark.

One of my favorites in Boston! I've tried almost everything on the menu and I honestly have no complaints. Excellent service. I've sat at the bar, and tables inside and out... Small and large parties and I've never been disappointed. ** get the pork chop! It's delicious. I don't typically order pork, but it is my go-to on this menu -incredible! ** also, love the 75 Club rewards!

We had dinner there recently. Food was mediocre at best. I had prime rib which was just average . Very fatty and smalland not cooked the way way I requested. My girlfriend had pasta with scallops which had very few scallops. Both dished were expensive and of poor quality and quantity. Would never recommend this place. We have gone to the other location of this restaurant and it is excellent . They will make money off the tourists but not regulars. Bill

I recently found this place on yelp. Brand new restaurant too! I was really excited to take my girlfriend out here for our New Years dinner. So before I even decided to try it here, I had to make sure if reservation was required for our dinner. I called them a week earlier to ask for a table on new years eve and they said reservation was only for lunch. I wanted to make this date perfect so I went on their website to double check and it stated clearly what the person on the phone had told me about the reservation. Okay, so in the evening of New Years eve, I came in, and the hostess said I needed a reservation and that all the tables were already reserved... That really screwed up my night; was really disappointed. Other than that I thought the place was very cozy. Smaller than what I expected though.

Had the Steak and Blue Salad for dinner which was excellent. The service was very good, and it has a very nice, pretty intimate atmosphere right on the water. There is outdoor seating, but stayed inside so I wouldn't melt should the threatening clouds open up. My only complaint was trying to wash my hands before dinner, the hand Sanitizer on the wall was empty, so I was waiting alongside other people to get into the one person men's room. I started out optomistivmc with the sound of the electric hand dryer early in the wait. Apparently the new thing is to dry ones hands thoroughly before making a phone call because after a couple minutes realized someone was talking on the phone. I had to knock twice and wait for 5 to 10 minutes listening to this jackass on the phone until he finally exits, and lo and behold it was an employee..... Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of hygiene, but pretty sure the flush at the end was for theatrics when he was done with his call because he strangely did not use the hand dryer right before he left the bathroom.....

Tiny place, and they don't take reservations. Hostess has no idea when to tell you how long the wait is, just "whenever people are done with their dinner." Awesome. This was my initial impression. Ten minutes later, we were seated. Service is good, food is good. But yes, TINY place. They may try to tempt you to sit outside -- yes, in November -- with the promise of heated lamps, but that's not my thing. Especially when it downpours. Beware the apple cider/brandy drink -- deadly! I say that in both a good and bad way. 75 offers a free rewards program, and when you sign up, you get two free shot glasses, then a free app, and so on. The rewards levels are coordinated with the dollar amount spent.

My friends planned a birthday dinner for me last Sunday night. Although a lot of people in their reviews are complaining about the size of the restaurant, that doesn't bother me. I am actually a fan of cozy places. There were 8 of us in our party and we all very much enjoyed the food...everything from the tenderloin medallions to the pasta caprese to the steak tips. A friend had the pumpkin ravioli, which she said was "ok." A red sauce didn't seem to be the best accompaniment for this sweet dish. The raspberry white chocolate cheesecake brulee was delicious; doesn't matter that it's not made in-house. The one component that was severely lacking was the service. At 6pm on Sunday, there were 2-3 other tables of customers besides us. Our waitress seemed to disappear when she should have been around to fill water glasses, ask for drink refills, and take our order. After getting our drinks, we probably waited 15 minutes until she came to take our food order, and she only came over because we were staring in her direction at the bar as she was watching TV. In fact, all of the restaurant's employees were either sitting or hanging at the bar watching TV at this point. The bartender noticed our glares and sent her over. When she finally showed up, she seemed to be on another planet. Having no personality is one thing, but this girl seemed to barely be able to get words to come out of her mouth. One of my friends described her as "medicated." This girl did not have the social skills or personality to be a waitress. I don't need someone cracking jokes during dinner but it would be nice if she could at least comfortably engage with her customers. We thought about saying something to a manger, but then noticed it didn't look like there was any manager on duty. All we saw was a hostess, bartender and a couple of waitresses. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with the service. I'm hoping it was just a fluke because the food and drinks were really tasty and I would like to go back. I'm just hoping this time that a zombie doesn't wait on us.

Dinner for 4 on a Sunday night. A great experience. The spot is very small, but if you are looking to sit outside there is plenty of outdoor seating. Great view of the harbor. Extensive cocktail menu, especially fit for the summer. We started with the mussels- perfectly cooked in a delicious broth. Definitely ask for extra bread- you are going to want it. I had the seafood stew- it was really fresh with big pieces of shrimp and swordfish. And the serving size was perfect for dinner- not too heavy but I left full. The broth was simple and a bit spicy but very good with the seafood. My mom had the surf and turf- came with a small half lobster tail. Both the lobster and the beef were perfectly cooked and very delicious. Others at my table had the sirloin tips and the cod- small serving sizes relative to other places I have been but they were all very tasty. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. The one issue- they do not take reservations for parties smaller than 6 so plan with that in mind.

From the owners of one of my fav places, 75 Chestnut, this place is brand spankin' new and gorgeous! A nice hip location right on Liberty Wharf, with waterviews, outdoor seating, and the staff is super nice. Menu is very reasonable, with salads, meat and fish dishes. Wine list is great...love love love.

Our server Hugo was fantastic! My fish $ chips were terrible! It is an embarrassment to our lovely historic seafaring city of Boston. The portion was so small that I actually asked if there was fish missing from the plate, and there weren't even many fries to help offset this deficit. To add insult to injury, the fish was rubbery! My plate was an unbelievable $20, absolutely insulting. I would've complained but I was with my Dad and we had limited time together. Step up your game 75 on Liberty, you are embarrassing our city with that dish! Hugo, you were great, thank you.

I really enjoyed the place. I'm sure it's because it hasn't been discovered yet but it's one of the only places not slammed in seaport on a Thursday evening, I hope it stays that way! It's very small so I could see it being pretty uncomfortable if it gets too busy. The service was great. They let my friend and I sit at a table since the bar was full even though we weren't going to eat (although once we checked out the menu that changed). I really appreciate when places do that so you aren't uncomfortably crammed in at a bar. The server made great recommendations and was friendly. The autumn martini list is great, I wanted to try everything on it but went with some type of cidar drink, delish. They also had a drink list dedicated to organic/natural alcoholic beverages, love that!! We tried the pumpkin raviolis and the crab cakes. Both were wonderful! Happy I found this new little spot.

It's cozy and the view is amazing. I think this would be a great spot for after work cocktails, but that's about it. First it's tiny inside. There was a party of 18 at the time we walked in so we waited for an hour (til the party left) to get a table. I would have gladly eaten at the bar, but my friend and were catching up at the bar so no issue. The servers were friendly, but the the bartender wasn't very attentive and we had to flag down someone else to get his attention for more drinks and to order an app. The portion size was my primary complaint - we ordered the crab cakes appetizer. They (2 of them) were $13 and LITERALLY the size of Sacajawea coins. I am not exaggerating. We ordered dinner when we were seated and our plates were reasonably priced, but nothing spectacular and definitely not overflowing with food. I had the steak tips and they were tough and lacked flavor - all four of them. Again, this might be great during the summer for cocktails but dinner was not that great and the crab cake size just cracked me up.

Went with my mother & her friend for a nice evening during July and was not pleased. Was told the wait would be over 45 minutes, although many tables were available. It started to sprinkle, and we were assured that the patio was fully covered (with umbrellas), so the table/seats were wet when we sat down. The drinks were sub-par, and very expensive without a lot of alcohol and the food was not cooked to order. The manager was made aware and the food was replaced. The staff was not very attentive. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, nor would I return.

absolutely unreal. You can sit outside. They have great music (played pretty lights). Make your own Bloody Mary bar - house infused vodka w/ tiros. Everything on the menu looked good, got the eggs Benedict - 1 with smoked salmon, 1 with Canadian bacon. Ran into friends. Little expensive.

Awesome location. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood. I'm a burger nut. Will have a martini or two... but really enjoy a tasty burger and fries for dinner. So does Ted. Anyways, went last night and had another burger. Mostly fine but what ruins it is the wonder bread like roll. Know how you chew wonder bread and it turns gummy, well the same texture happens with the roll. Tom, head over to Drink and order a burger. Yeah, they do the double burger thing but the roll makes all the work taste better. Your burger and fries and stuff are great but the roll is lame. Also, make sure the bartenders smile. Know they work hard, but as a customer you like to feel as though someone cares and looks at you and smiles. Simple but important. Other than that, the Meyer Lemon Chicken is great and so is the Nantucket Seafood stew (and cod filet).

I stumbled upon this place on a recent business trip to Boston, and although the food was not necessarily exceptional.. the waterfront view and the friendly service was worth mentioning. Don't get me wrong, the food was not bad in any way and in fact I would not mind returning for another meal if I happen to be in the area (but it also just so happens that I come from a city where the food options are so vast that anything average can easily be overlooked as typical). My coworker and myself both ordered the Beef Tenderloin, and the server was very apologetic when my coworker pointed out his order was not cooked as ordered-- rare. Keeping in mind this is not any fancy steakhouse, and it is quite easy for a order of rare cooked meat to become overcooked if simply left on the counter for a few seconds too long in the kitchen, I was rather impressed by how they quickly they sent the kitchen a request for a second order to be prepared. On top of that, our server was kind enough to take off the charge for my dessert from our bill as a concession for the whole issue with my coworker's order. Maybe this was typical hospitality in town, but for a New Yorker, I certainly found this sort of friendly service to be worthy of a mention.

Probably the worst dining experience of my life. My woolen suit is dripping wet. Went for lunch today. Waiter, who was clearly high, didn't get order correct. Then, somehow, never put order in. Then waited over an hour and twenty minutes for a salad and crab cakes. Afterwards something inside told me to not return to the conference next door but to leave early. When I got home something didn't feel right. I shit my pants.. with my suit still on. It got everywhere. On my tie, shirt, into my socks. All over the bathroom floor, into the hallway.. onto the carpets. I just got off the phone with the dry cleaners - I asked them what to do because somehow I managed to get "baby poop" all over my woolen pants. They had no recommendations besides letting them dry. and hoping they won't shrink. Oh - besides everything mentioned above the place is great.

There is a reason why this place made it on the Phantom Gourmet. Everything was so good. I got the BBQ steak sandwich, and the steak was cooked well enough to not make it seem like I was trying to play tug of war with my teeth like most steaks I eat are. The peanut butter cheesecake was also yummy. The salad wedge and the goat cheese/apple salad...yum! Everything was great, except for the $35 pitcher of sangria that tasted like friggin' watered down Arbor Mist...c'mon!!! You can do better than that! Minus one star!

Waste of prime real estate. The interior only holds max 10 tables. The servers are tripping over each other. We were seated right by the kitchen, with loudly swinging doors and the sounds of crashing dishes. Our waitress was in la la land. She rushed us in the beginning and then disappeared. She managed to come over only when we were clearly in conversation and tried to take the food from someone that was still eating. No one was particularly thrilled with their dishes. Swing and a miss.

Tom Kershaw , famous for Cheers, Bull and Finch pub, Hampshire House and for helping restaurants around the state and helping to develop tourism in Boston has a new jewel. We arrived for a 7:30 reservation for 6 ten minutes early and our table was ready despite the restaurant being packed. Wilson was our server. He was there when we wanted him but since we told him we were not in a hurry, he did not rush us. We orders aps first. We had the pumpkin raviolis, the chili, the Blt wedge and calamari to start. my entree was a special, seafood raviolis. Several large ravioli a will filled with an excellent seafood filling. The clear sauce had tomatoes , shrimp and seared scallops. It was great. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The service was great. Despite being small, the restaurant has a nice decor and great views of the harbor and airport with a fishing boat outside. Aps, dinners, martinis , wine and coffee for $280 on the Boston waterfront is a deal. We will be back. I have read some other reviews on yelp can not believe those people were in the same place

I've been here twice for brunch with 2 very different experiences. In the spring when it wasn't as busy the staff was more attentive, however a week ago with the restaurant not very busy the service was terrible. We were at our table 10 minutes before someone asked what we wanted to drink, we only ordered coffee yet it arrived after our meal and we watched the wait staff deliver food to the wrong table four separate occasions. Food is okay, not amazing. Nice view, sub-par service... I'll let you decide.

Tiny portioned Fish and chips which I think is just gorton's. Also a dry tasteless burger. I would avoid the food but, located directly on the harbor, this is a great place to sit and have a drink.

Their ST-GERMAIN & PINEAPPLE COSMO is maybe my new favorite cocktail, and that's saying something! The end of the bar is ... odd. There's this random short section that you don't have room to sit at. Still, this place has potential!

Rude Staff. The hostess did not even bother seating us.

This review is only for drinks on New Years Eve. As everyone says, the place is small. We walked in and there were no tables available, only standing room. We were happy with that. The bar was packed, but we got very prompt service. The bartenders were pretty friendly and service was good for how crowded the restaurant was. One thing that was slightly frustrating is the bartender continuously closed out my tab after every drink order, so she had to go back and reopen it every time even though I specified to leave it open. More work for her in the end and not particularly bothersome to me. Unfortunately, because she continually ran my card, there were several charges that were repeats. I called the manager on January 2nd and he was exceptionally helpful and handled the situation very well. I would absolutely go back and try their dinner and more drinks.

Love this place, granted it is small but it makes up for it in the food and service! It is refreshing to have this cozy spot among your typical bar food and overpriced places that are in the area. There is something for everyone and the manager (I believe her name is Lauren or Lindsay?) was so ontop of things asking everyone in the restauarant how their dinner was going, I love to see that it speaks volumes on how well the business is run from top to bottom! Can't wait to go back for that appetizer tower!

I was a fan. Went for early dinner. Food was good. steak tips, lobster sliders both quite good. Service was good. Waiter was attentive and nice. Cool atmosphere. Some dishes were on the smaller side. Another customer sent his dish back as it was much less food than he wanted.

When I walked into 75 on Liberty Wharf early Saturday evening I wondered where the groups of screaming, fist pumping, shot slamming bros and their posses were. Since Hurricane Sandy had yet to hit I was left to believe that they were too busy ruining all the other Seaport bars to bother with this little haven on the water. 75 on Liberty Wharf is the perfect contemporary complement to it's Beacon Hill big sister 75 Chestnut. If you are lucky you may grab a table right away but it is more realistic to expect a bit of a wait as they have a puzzling reservation practice. However their intriguing autumnal cocktail list should keep you busy and there are complementary cheese and crackers available to the more famished of patrons. The food is delicious, especially the Pasta Caprese (think caprese salad over pasta) and the Tenderloin Medallions which literally melt in your mouth. One can easily converse over the music and din of the crowd with one's dinner partner despite the open seating plan and floor to ceiling windows. Kudos 75 for bringing your upscale Beacon Hill swank to the Seaport! Stay classy!

We had a birthday party celebration for a party of 10 which at first the "reservation" process was a bit confusing but the manager quickly took care of it and help a table for 10. Now the good part begins... we truly had one of the best waiters (Timothy) in all of Boston. Courteous, pleasant, knowledgeable and funny. Gave great recommendations on food/drinks. The food was simply outstanding. Price was very reasonable especially for a waterfront location. Ambiance was real good and casual. I can also see it being a nice date night for couples (also have a few tv's to catch up on scores) Overall they did it right. Great service, great food, classy and a reasonable price for it's location. This should be a model of how to run a restaurant business. The pleasure was all ours-Sal B

Went here for lunch and was inpressed. The spot is very small but cozy. We are ready to go back for dinner. We both got shrimp salads but it was very good. Great wine selection. They also have a heated area outside to sit and eat dinner.

Two of us had an early dinner on a cool May evening, and sat outside. The view is spectacular. They said if we were cool, they would provide blankets. They brought the bread right away, which was warm and fresh and delicious. We shared a pasta caprese (huge dish for $13) and a field green salad which was $5 for a normal salad. The Mediterranean plate was also huge for $12 (I wish the lavash had been crispy). Service was great, prices very reasonable, food was tasty, and view amazing. So, yes, I will definitely go again! A good addition to the Seaport, with tons of outdoor seating for the summer (the inside is quite small).

I wasn't that impressed with the food. The clam chowder was very good but I had the Sea Bass which was a special that night and it was extremely dry and over cooked. My wife had the burger, she said the meat was dry and the bun wasn't very good. The other couple with us enjoyed their meal more than we did. I will say that the cocktails were very good. I've been to 75 Chestnut and really like it, I'm hoping this place will work out the kinks. Oh yea, the cheddar cheese was amazing!

When I heard that my favorite hidden gem in Boston was opening a second location I HATED it... I thought, "Dammit... now everyone is going to find out about 75 Chestnut!" Still, I had to be one of the first people to visit 75 on Liberty Wharf and grabbed a reservation for it's first Friday night. From the minute we called to say we were running 30 minutes late because of the rain to the time we left was an awesome experience. 75 Chestnut itself is small, and 75 on Liberty Wharf is roughly half the size. It's a great little hut of a building next door to Jerry Remy's with an odd, jagged design on the inside that just works for it. Big glass windows overlook Boston Harbor and it's by far one of the most romantic spots I've been in Boston. We were quickly greeted by Hugo who was attentive... SO very attentive... but was pleasant, knowledgeable, and took care of everything. It was clear it was their first weekend because they were overstaffed to the point where Hugo probably came back to our table 15 or 20 times, oftentimes saying nothing because he really couldn't have had anything else to ask us. That said, he had a fun wit and disposition that certainly added to the night. The 75's are definitely known for their mixed drinks and we were sure to take advantage. Next was the Mussels & Chorizo which are among the best in Boston. (Ask for extra bread!) I was a pain in the ass for dinner since I was disappointed to see the best dish at the Beacon Hill location -- a tenderloin au poivre -- didn't make the waterfront menu. Still, Hugo checked into it and they were able to make it for me even though they were missing an ingredient. It was fantastic, as always. We finished up with two of their amazing desserts... a tahitian vanilla creme brulee that was one of the best I've ever had and a molten chocolate cake that disappointing and lacked much of the molten dark chocolate truffle that was advertised. Just a great, great night at a phenomenal spot. We signed up for the rewards card to be sure to be back soon! And hopefully Hugo will be waiting.

I had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The setting is lovely and I loved the bloody Mary bar but my eggs Benedict was not great. The eggs were over cooked and the hollandaise sauce was bland.

Wednesday, July 9, 2014. My birthday. My daughter and I are in town for a concert at the Blue Hills Pavilion. My nephew Alex Preston will be playing as part of the American Idol tour. My daughter was taking me for a quiet lunch and a few drinks before meeting with the rest of the clan. From the moment Pam, our waitress greeted us I knew we were in the right place. Pam was totally solicitous. I felt pampered and cared for the whole time. She took an interest in what this day meant to us. She discussed the amazing cocktails and the food menu and answered all of our questions. The calamari was crispy and hot. I have never tried balsamic reduction and was so pleased with this pairing. Delish. The turkey panini was everything I had hoped for. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere and the care with which Pam treated us made for a perfect start to my birthday. She didn't stop there. At the end of the meal she brought us the most fantastic hot brownie ice cream sunday to celebrate my day! I was in heaven. Thank you Pam. I told many of my family members about our time at 75 Liberty and guess what..a number of them said this is their new favorite place! We are already planning for our return visit. Keep this up and 75 Liberty will be THE place to go at the Seaport!! Sincerely, Annie P.

Food was very good. Prices were reasonable. Service was very good. Our waitress was genuinely friendly. Manager checked in on us a couple of times. We went on a stormy night and i could see the place getting cramped on a busy night. We got a reservation with conflicts with some other comments (we had a party of 7).

Went there for a late afternoon lunch. Shared a chowder (actually just me)!-and the mussels-huge portion. Excellent. Bloody Mary could have had more kick and the place is really small but if you are in the area and there's a table I'd grab it. Excellent staff, personable hostess who was on top of everything. The address says northern ave but its really on seaport blvd, pretty annoying. Across from Jerry remys which you shouldn't even stop for the bathroom

Enjoyed a nice lunch on Sunday afternoon. They feature brunch on Sunday as well as regular lunch menu. Brunch menu contained breakfast type items as well as lunch items. I selected the lobster roll. It was very good. It was actually a double lobster roll accompanied by some nice tastey crunchy fries. My friend chose an Italian style burger. Very good. Prices are very reasonable for the amt and quality of food. I would bet that it is one of the best values on the very pricey seaport area. Would definitely go back.

We love 75 on Liberty Wharf! Although the space is small to us it is all part of what makes the spot great. We have been going to 75 Chestnut in Beacon Hill for a while and were very excited last fall when this location opened up. We've been a number of times and are looking forward to some nice weather to finally take advantage of the outdoor seating!!!

the place is small, but very classy and nice, perfect for a romantic date with an amazing view to the waterfront. I went with some friends for a Sunday lunch and the food was awesome. the steamed mussels were so good (and I'm not a big fan of seafood, but I loved them). we enjoyed our meals: tenderloin medallions and Salmon filet and we had the best cocktails ever! the service was excellent, our server Hugo was very fast and he was taking care of us all the time. we're definitely going back soon!!

My fiance and I went here for lunch a little while back and I'm only now getting a chance to write a review. They food we thought was tasty enough (I had a seafood stew and he had a sandwich), but were most impressed by the people that worked there. He and I were meeting after work and I was excited to show him a sample of the wedding invitations I just got in the mail. One of the servers was near by when I pulled it out and she was genuinely excited for me. Then the bartender and manager chimed in. I though it was so nice to have such a heartfelt reaction from a group of people that could just as easily have ignored my excitement. We'll definitely go back, especially once the weather warms up completely. The patio seating is going to be highly coveted. Oh, and one more thing - they offer a really nice nonalcoholic specialty cocktail menu. Now I'll a lady who like a drink or ten, but I really wasn't in the mood that day and was really happy to still have a tasty drink option. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Its just too bad its not bigger.

I would give it four stars if the service were just ok. We found our food quality excellent but don't know if I would go back because of the non-service. Food: Pepper tenderloins, pumpkin ravioli, baked cod all good. Desserts and drinks very good. Service: very inexperienced. We had to wave them down to order drinks, to order dinner, to order more drinks, to get a dessert menu. Very young kids who have clearly not been trained by management. The servers auction dishes, they lay across the table to hand you your dish. They clear plates before everyone is done. The prices are reasonable but the service really needs to come up to the level of the food or just serve wings and beer to match the level of service.

Took a party to the restaurant on a Sunday for a special occasion. Two of us ordered the days special, a prime rib dinner and two others had ordered the fish & chips. The prime rib came out to us and the beef looked as if it had been sitting out for the full day. The prime rib was dry, over cooked and uneatable. (looked like the soul of my shoe) The fish & chips were dry and almost as bad as the prime rib. I could not believe that an established restaurant would serve meals which had obviously been left out for the day and reheated. This had to be the worst meal I have had in a long time. The restaurant must be targeting tourists who are visiting Boston and they are not worried about returning patrons. I will not be visiting this establishment again and I recommend that you choose an alternative location for dinner when visiting Boston's waterfront.

I recently attended a birthday dinner at 75 at Liberty Wharf. I will start with the best parts of the restaurant. The restaurant is cozy which, given the chilly weather outside, this is a real plus. Seeing the open flames outside, through the floor to ceiling glass, and being able to look out over the water, etc. is just lovely. The ambiance is the best part of this place, for sure! The food. It was in a word: "Eh." I thought the soup of the season was probably the only tolerable item that I ordered. The crab cakes were bland and dry. Honestly, I can deal with marginal food in the beautiful ambiance but the WORST part of this place is the service. Our waitress was either rude or just socially awkward. She got multiple things wrong on orders and she refused to so much as engage with the table. Every question we asked, she almost appeared annoyed to have to answer. When I ordered a second glass of wine, she took away my first glass of wine and there was still wine in it!! She seemed to violate every rule of serving 101. I could have waited on myself and had a much better experience. Given the fact that my seat was practically in the kitchen, it would have been pretty feasible. I would go back for a drink sometime, perhaps before heading to dinner at one of the better restaurants with better service in the area.
