There are a lot of foodstuffs I would have never considered vegan. Oreos and Cracker Jacks for example are "accidentally vegan" according to PETA? So you can imagine my surprise when I learned pizza is vegan(*). My Favorite Vegan is a huge fan of pizza. While she's a huge fan of making her own the folks at Naked Pizza produce her favorite delivers quickly to Old Metry a pizza filled with tasty toppings at a good price. Overall I like it, but in my experience the pizza seems to come out... how do I say this without eliciting a huge "duh" from you, dear reader... flat. I don't think of Ancora like this even though I usually get the diavola and MFV gets the marinara which are very simple offerings, but then again I did use the word"flavorfull" so you can take my reviews with a grain of salt and I could probably use use the help of a thesaurus in my future reviews. But there I go digressing on a self-deprecating tangent... Okay where was I? Naked Pizza! Bea usually sticks to the greenhouse or superbiotic and if there isn't cilantro on it, it needs to be added. Cilantro apparently makes everything better. I flip-flop between the omnivore, farmvil, or ragin' cajun depending on mood. Out of the three I think the farmvil has become my favorite with the omnivore a close second and the ragin' cajun, my most recent choice, getting the unfortunate adjective "flat" (but still good). So if you're planning an evening in at home in Old Metry with a bottle of wine and you and your favorite vegan don't want to cook so you can have more time playing the piano(**) call Naked Pizza and they will quickly deliver. (* Okay I learned this back during my first trip to Ancora but I needed an intro dammit.) (** As much as I love a good double-entendre "Playing the piano" wasn't a euphemism for anything.)

Love his place. Gluten free crust needs some improvement, but besides that everything is fantastic. Pepperoni, sausage, and cheese pizzas are da bomb.

I love this pizza! Everything is fresh and hand made. I've seen a few negative reviews of the other locations. Here's the thing, Naked Pizza is "healthy" pizza. If you are looking for the grease-soaked sponge that is Pizza Hut pizza (amongst others), don't go here. Period. They have an extensive selection of fresh toppings and crusts. (They even have a gluten-free option.) You can't beat the nutritional info: nakedpizza.biz/nutrition Keep in mind it's carry-out/delivery only.

Just enjoyed my first Naked Pizza! I got the thin crust Sonoran which has chicken, red peppers, mushrooms, and red onion. It was really yummy, I liked the crispy then crust, and I feel like it was a pretty guilt free choice for dinner!

Cashier was completely incompetent. He had his fingers in his mouth while taking our order then directly proceeded to making pizzas. Completely unnacceptable.

I'm not sure what is wrong, but this place has gone downhill lately in terms of taste/quality. Customer Service is top notch but the pizzas are tasteless and horrible. The cheese does not look like cheese and the tomato sauce has a funny taste. Our family thinks that they have experimented with the formula. Our family has been ordering from this location since it opened. Prior to this, we made the trek to their location near Tulane. I do hope they will improve. Fresh, organic ingredients shouldn't mean bland and tasteless.

Love. The ingredients are so fresh and the "skinny" crust is my favorite. My favorite pizza is the Superbiotic, the roasted garlic has a sweet flavor and really adds to the pizza. The staff is super friendly too, which is always a huge plus for me. Haven't tried the gluten-free crust, but I like knowing it's an option.

Must have been an off night. I ordered online (very easy to do by the way) at 8:20pm for takeout, swung by at 8:50pm and it was not ready. No worries, off to go to the convenience store to get a few drinks to enjoy with my pizza. Back at 9:15pm and they were just putting mine in the oven. Really?!? Walked out at 9:25pm with pizza in hand. However, the pizza does taste pretty darn good.

Ordered a pizza online using grub hub at 3:30. Was quoted an hour. At 5:14 I finally called because my pizza never came and no one had ever made my order... I told them just to void it. They didn't offer me a consolation of any kind... Just a "sorry have a good day." Well, it woulda been good but now I'm starving so THANKS A LOT GUYS.

I placed an online order, paid in full online, and tipped online. I ordered Pizza, Chicken Tenders, and tea. When I walked in I told the man my name, he handed me my pizza but no chicken tenders. When I told him I had ordered chicken tenders he just said it wasn't on my order. I thought maybe I accidentally removed it. I grabbed my tea, went to my car, and checked my email. The tenders were on my online receipt. I went back in with my phone to show him the email. He saw me coming back and ran behind the counter shoving a younger employee out to confront me. I told him my issue, he was completely rude and just stared. Eventually the first employee came back out and pulled out my receipt with my total on it and said it wasn't on the store receipt once again. I gave up and just left never receiving my chicken tenders. I really wish this wasn't the only location in the area. The pizza could have been good if it weren't for the terrible service aftertaste. Never going back.

Wow. Was just charged a price increase of approximately 35%! Told that prices went up on Monday. Replied that the increase seemed excessive and that I wouldn't be returning. So, the recommendation here is to be sure to get your price when you order -- or pay the price. Now, I have several other options in my neighborhood and never was all that impressed with Naked Pizza anyway. I trust that I'll will easily find a new go-to pizza place. Buyer Beware!

Ordered a pizza because it's one of the few places that delivers. Bad move. Pizza was room temperature and toppings were scarce.

I was conflicted on what to order. I love thin crust but my curiosity for gluten free won out. How lucky for me that it was pretty thin as well. Very fresh veggies, hot and pretty fast delivery. Slightly pricey but I did get 5 toppings on my side. I will be doing this again!

Very good pizza. The thin crust came out nice and crispy. A little skimpy though on the quantity of toppings. Be sure to order double toppings of whatever you want.
