I went for a Friday lunch around 1:00. I had a great experience. Ordered two apps and both were a decent size and very good. My wedge salad was very good too. I asked for blue cheese crumbles to be added which they did and I would reccommend. They could add another dessert option-kinda lacking in that dept. I'm sure its because they focus on business style lunches. Our server, had a unique name, was very pleasant and attentive but not overbearing. We sat in the room toward the back that can be used for private parties of 12.Very nice room with wall to wall windows. Did I mention they have 25 cent martinis on Fridays???

The ambiance here isn't my favorite as it has the restaurant crammed into a high rise office building feel. The bathrooms are a bit of an inconvenient hike to access here and you have to go outside the restaurant and into the lobby past the elevators to reach them. The bar doesn't even appear like it is really used very often. I think this is mainly a lunch spot for folks that work in the building and dinner never seems very active. The food is actually pretty decent here and probably is one of the better options in the immediate area but there are definitely better places not much further away. Service is inconsistent and it often takes far too long to get your drink refilled or order another alcoholic beverage.

May 20 2015 business luncheon here. Worst experience yet, and will not return. Server was personable, but our order took almost 20 minutes to arrive at table. I ordered the duck jambalaya: Terrible presentation; clump of dark-colored stuff served in an oversized bowl. Lukewarm. Inedible; meat tasted as though it were prepared a couple days earlier and refrigerated. Sent it back and got a cup of the andouille gumbo, which was excellent. The server was effusive in her apologies for the jambalaya, but no member of management appeared to discuss it. I was not charged for the gumbo or the jambalaya - a good move on management's part. One of my party said his fish dish was excellent. Can't go back here. Just too many little disappointments over the past couple years.

Shrimp over shredded Brussels wonderful. Service bad. Pasta bordelaise great! Service bad. White bean soup fabulous! Service bad. Caramel bread pudding outstanding! Did I mention the service was bad?! Too many restaurants in New Orleans to put up with this horrible treatment!

Worst restaurant experience I've had in awhile. Made New Years Reservations. Showed up on time, couldn't even get anyone to look at me. Host just ran around cursing at other angry customers and his staff. This was halfway acceptable, being New Years. So we went to the bar. Bar wasn't that busy, but we sat there for literally an hour and a half and could. Not. Get. Service. Every staff member there just straight up ignored us for two hours (now almost 10PM) until we decided to ditch the place. Forget them. No matter how good the food is if you treat your customers like cattle that don't need to be spoken to I have no desire to ever eat there at any time.

I want to give it more than 3 stars, given that the location is definitely high stars. The food is average, there is your regular steak, gumbo, and bread. Nothing exciting. I think it's good for professional events, for a fancy family/date outing, There are better options around.

Made reservations on OpenTable and only had one time slot available. Got to the place and it's barely 1/4th full. I told the host I had reservations but it didn't look like she cared. Only points I can give it is 1) nice open space and seating area with good lighting and 2) their homemade ketchup sauce (the only highlight of my lunch). Homemade Ginger Ale - maybe it needs a little bit more lime? Other than that, nothing spectacular from regular ginger ale. Crawfish Bruschetta starter - definitely different from the usual bruschetta I'm used to but it was decent; at least the crawfish wasn't salty; the bread is soft versus the usual crunchy Russell's Louisiana Crab Cakes - comes in two on top of corn, not heavy like your usual crab cakes with the creamy sauce so that was nice but they were not consistent in taste; one was bland and the other was salty...but I guess that's where the corn comes into play - so you can eat it together. Heritage Grill Hanger Steak - so "hanger steak is the portion of the neck of the cow, sometimes the shoulder"....not as juicy and yummy as I had imagine. Fries were way too salty and was dumped on top of the asparagus, therefore, they were also salty. Minus the bruschetta, it looks like Heritage Grill has a heavy hand with salt. Sorry, I won't be coming back.

Went back a few weeks ago and food/service weren't up to par as compared to earlier visits. Maybe caught them on a bad day or is it slipping already?

CONSISTENTLY ... NOT GOOD. Today was our 6th and final visit. We keep trying because it's near our office. Service has been poor 6 visits. We did have a reservation & explained that we needed to be in and out in about 90 mins. No greeting by hostess, not even a "follow me, please". For our last 2 lunch visits with office staff of 7, we had the same young lady server. Oh No, not again! No hello, just "Do you want diet coke or water?" We asked to order drinks & wine. After only 1 of us ordered a martini, she walked away. (That was worth a good table-round laugh!) She doesn't speak much, just stares and walks away. Drink & food order wrong, all food late & all cold, salmon greasy & not fresh! Redfish was small fillet, greasy. Hanger steaks just ok & cold. Ordered 4 choc tortes, she brought the check instead. The table next to us had only 2 customers, who both complained about service & sent food back to the kitchen. Restaurant was only about 75% full - 11:45 to 1:45. How bad would it have been if they were busy? We did not complain - didn't want to cause a problem for our server because the kitchen & management are likely part of the problem. Service problems. Food quality poor. Kitchen time poor. Does this restaurant need new management? Dear Brennen's Restaurant Group: You need more than a name.

The staff were friendly but extremely forgetful. They forgot our drinks, soup spoons, lemons....The food was "OK", so for the money I would suggest going elsewhere. The duck eggrolls could have been delicious but they were too salty; the gumbo was very thick with tomatos paste and also very salty, plus eating it with a teaspoon was different; my grilled vegetable sandwich was ok, would have been much better if it really had been grilled! The burger was delicious but the fries were oily and limp. Boo-hoo. I wish our experience had been better. My suggestion? Go somewhere else.
