Perfectly acceptable hotel bar at the Sheraton near the Galleria in Metry. The space is both the restaurant and the lobby and the bar. The staff was attentive and friendly. There is a nice patio area that is sort of on the street but they do a good job of screening it with potted plants so it is a nice space. There's also a lounge area adjacent if sofas are more to your liking. The prices for some drinks seemed a bit high, but my friends got discounted rates for drinks so woohoo for half price.

Set in a swanky airport hotel lobby, Hedges misses the mark on service, value. Excellent food, although portions on the Shrimp tacos were exhorbitantly small!!! I'd order one of the poor-boys next time...

Hedges has a basic lunch menu in an open seating area. Very easy to get in and out of and it's pretty quiet. The chairs are particularly comfortable. The service is prompt and take-out orders are welcomed. The bar is a nice touch and offers happy hour with a two-for-one house wine, well brands and draft beer. I usually slip in here to sip a cocktail with colleagues after a long day of interviews. I like this place because the employees are attentive but there is enough anonyomity to enjoy your drink and not be bothered with too much socializing. It's my "I'm with work people spot" so pretty low key.

Hotel bar, money comes from people with business accounts. This isn't really a "bar" for people to come hang out when driving through town.

Not as great as most of the restaurants in New Orleans (and probably doesn't deserve the four stars I've given it), but whaddya know, it's better than most hotel restaurants, I had awesome service, and they made darn good BBQ wings and blue cheese
