This place doesn't require any additional reviews. As all others have said cafe au lait is delicious, the frozen and ice coffee are also top notch. The Beignets are out of this world, picture mini square funnel cakes with so much powdered sugar you cant see to the bottom of your plate but it was glorious! We came from out of town and our local friends suggested we wear black to this place Hahaha, jokes on us! My little one had a hay day with all of the powdered sugar left over on our plate. They also sale their Beignet mix, Coffee beans and lots of knick knacks including mugs, thermos, espresso cups, etc. Great experience!!

I love this spot the one in the French Quarter is always busy and you can run into lines from time to time but the place is always great customer service and quick no long line's.

Ok, Im from Los Angeles, and just moved to Louisiana. A week ago, in some semi-seedy bar, on some rundown corner of Burbon St, New Orleans, I pointed to an item on the menu and asked the waitress Me: "Whats a Bag-get?" She gave me a bemused smile: "Thats not a Bagget, its pronounced Ben-yay." This was my first lesson Cajun speak. Its an aquirement that is not easy to master. New Orleans itself is not pronouced NEW OR-LEANs, its New Or-lenz. Gaeh Thit? So, fast forward to today where I sit down to enjoy this New Orleans treat: a soft, warm and chewy fried donut BURIED under powdered sugar. One bite and you can taste why there are about a dozen of these cafes throughout New Olenz, the stuff is GOOD! A sip of the coffee will throw you back too, after weeks of bad coffee at work and other Mainstream cafes, this Cafe Demond makes the best brew Ive had in months! These guys can do good to open one in Los Angeles. Thankfully, coffee here is also pronounced coff-fee. No tongue lessons required for that one.

Beignets + chicory + powered suger = super doughnut for the win! Coffee is black and tar like...me gusta. Beignets were soft and chewy. I'm not a dessert guy but this shit is bonkers....

Beignets with some chicory coffee.....it is like heaven`!!. The place looks and feels like the location in Decatur Street. The service is great and ambiance is very southern style. There is parking in the front and back...you may need to park on the street if you go there early Saturday or Sunday morning. You will become a lifetime fan!!

My mom's beignets were cold and stale. The guy washed the chairs with same rag he wiped table with and pushed all powdered sugar on floor. She loves the real beignets at real place down the road.
