True Italian food. 5 course meal is a great price and everything was excellent. Wait staff was friendly. Will definitely be back!

First off... in the dark, this place is SUPER hard to find. They have a sign, but in keeping with the attempt to be a classy restaurant, it isn't overly obnoxious. When combined with the dark sky of the country road, this makes for something that is well-hidden. Plus, GPS takes you about a mile or two down the road from where this is actually located. We came here for a Christmas party and I was all excited to try something new. It really did not disappoint. One complaint would be that the paper menu was hard-to-read with the dimly-lit interior and the odd cursive-styled font (I'm not the only one who thought so, either). However, drinks were good. Service was stretched a little thin, but they were friendly and as attentive as possible. The food was awesome. I didn't really try the appetizers, as they were all seafood dishes, but the pasta course and the entree were both delicious. I tried a bite of cannoli and it was excellent, but by then, had no room for dessert. They have a few kinks to work out, but this place is really new, so I'm still going with 4 stars. The food is great and the few very minor issues seem easy to fix.

This is a great spot for a good meal and business casual vibe. Relaxing, but nice. I have a service dog and they were most welcoming. Always a plus. Wait staff was great and I did not lack. I am poor with names, the waitress was most patient explaining he specials. We sat inside and it was a bit noisy for romantic. This place is for conversation with good food and service.

Ate here several months ago with a group of 12. We were not seated even though the table was ready because 2 people in the group were running late with traffic but we're en route. So we had to just wait at the front which was bizarre and I'm sure disruptive to other guests as they have seating close to the door. They could have easily seated us and started selling us cocktails and making a profit from us but instead we waited by the hostess stand. Our poor server worked so hard to take care of us and it seemed like everything was going wrong for him but it was apparent he was doing his best to provide us the best service he could. He had to bring me 3 different wine glasses and my mom 2 different wine glasses because there was food particles on the glass that we could see and feel. We all ordered the 5 course meal- the Alfredo pasta course came out cold for everyone. I ordered a rare filet and was brought one that was cooked well-done. The server was great about getting another filet properly cooked. Wow. The smoked filet there- amazing. It was served with a peach that was cooked somehow. A filet and peach sounds kinda nasty but it was spectacular together. The only thing I did not like about the service was that when the entrees came out, they were auctioned off at the table which should never be done at any restaurant. I loathed how the woman who I believe was the manager would not seat us until the rest of the party arrived. I would understand waiting if less than half the party had arrived but 10 of 12 were there.

My husband and I had a date night here recently. We sat outside on the back porch. We ordered a bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, my favorite. The restaurant actually has its own cellar. For dinner I had the veal parmesan, which was huge. I ate half and took the other half home. For dessert we had the tiramisu. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The manager greeted us as well. Very romantic atmosphere.

The food is excellent, great wine selection and atmosphere is what you expect from the family. The eggplant parmesan was spot on. The cheesecake is awesome.

Good food, good service, and nice atmosphere. The wine and liquor shop on the premises is nice. Buy your wine and pay a small corking fee and save a few dollars. Most of the recipes are the same as impastatos in Metairie.

Cellars has become one of our family favorites. My wife has a special diet and they cater to her requests. They go above and beyond. Food is excellent and love the service.

Excellent food and service. Unlike most restaurants, they don't abuse you on wine prices. You can choose your wine from the "cellar" , pay retail, and enjoy with your meal. The wine choices are outstanding. I had the veal parmesan. Very light and tasteful. My wife loved the spadini. The cheesecake is fantastic. We were treated like guests in someones home. The hospitality is top notch.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
