Ok so the food isn't amazing but it is average for a chinese place. They have sushi, Mongolian a little, normal chinese, seafood, deserts. Place is clean also. I noticed this place brings in a big crowd.

Its average to a little better than average. Its a Chinese buffet. No complaints, but nothing to brag about either. If you are really hungry and Golden Corral is too far away its worth a check out. *I wanted wan-ton soup and it was just broth. *I settled for hot and sour soup and it was over spicy. *The best thing was the Bourbon Chicken. It tastes like it came off of a bbq pit. *Service in most Chinese buffets are good, just don't expect much conversation.

We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. My husband and I try to eat healthy and that was no problem. All the dishes were very flavorful. Everything was fresh and always full. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

The food here is good ... better than most Asian buffets in the area. The price is perfect for lunch. The only thing that bothers me is that the wait staff is a bit slow but they are always nice.

So.... I've been here a couple times. The kids love it. I usually go on the weekends when they have crab. Yesterday I went and today my daughter and I have food poisoning. Don't know if food was sitting too long or what!? During the week the crowd is a lot lighter and this may have been a factor. Never had this problem there before and I'm really disappointed. May have been our last trip.

It's cheap, and they have sushi and a stir fry bar for dinner (I can't bring myself to call it a hibachi grill since it's at a Chinese buffet). I really have no complaints, other than the usual buffet critique - food sitting out for a long time so it's not really fresh, lots of salt used on everything, etc. Friendly employees and good for a quick Asian-style meal with the kids though. They have some "American" options for picky eaters too, along with the staples of Americanized Chinese food, like fried rice, general tso's chicken, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, etc. There are lots of seafood options too, if you want to pig out on some fish.

I work on the Expressway near this place, and it's always great for a quick-cheap-and-delicious lunch with coworkers. We show up, get our table, get our first plates of food, and spend our time eating and chatting. The buffet area is always very clean, and I believe the variety of food offered is great. I love the lo mein (not too heavy on the soy sauce like at other Asian buffets) and the green beans. The salad bar is very generous. One of my coworkers is consistently pleased with the sushi selection (not huge, but yummy). And I always manage to make time for serving myself some Blue Bell ice cream, tucked away in the corner by the sushi bar. This is definitely my favorite Asian buffet place - in my opinion, way better overall than Asian Super Buffet in Kenner and East Buffet in Metairie.

I went here when their first open and I liked it! But I don't know what was happened the place was still nice and clean but their food went down hill. That's the most important part !

They are really good. Crawfish and shrimp needs a little more seasoning. Chopsticks is a little pricey. For 2 ppl it was $31. I eat here alot too. This place really is awesome! The service is good also. Not alot of ppl know about this place which is good. Good business hours also. Thanks Chopsticks for dinner!

Best of breed among West Bank Chinese buffets. Inexpensive; $2 extra on weekends. Friends, we've tried dozens of buffets nationwide and this is much better than you'd expect to find in this area, for this price. We found ourselves in the area for business, and we found ourselves gravitating back to Chopstix over and over again for selection and overall value. Large number of items including salad bar, Mongolian-style grill, dessert bar, soups, specialty sushi rolls. Hardshell crabs and crawfish everyday (compare with what local seafood restaurants charge for all-you-can-eat crawfish and crab). Scoop-your-own ice cream from 3-gallon cans, ice cream parlor style. Crab legs and frog legs on weekends.

On the upside, its cheap. $6.50 for weekend lunch buffet and kids range from free to $4 depending on their age. On the down side, service was really weak and the food was mediocre at best. Its another example of, you get what you pay for. The mongolian BBQ is decent, but starts after 4:30 and the prices go up.

Clean. Nice selection of sushi seafood and of course Chinese. I'm not a buffet person but I would go back.

This place is seriously underrated. Very reasonably priced and the food is fabulous. Hostess and waitstaff are quite nice too. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

If you would like the worst versions of all your favorite foods, then I humbly invite you to "enjoy" the chopstix buffet. Better you than me. This is another business that could benefit from a thorough cleaning. I'm amazed the health inspector hasn't shut them down. Don't look UNDER the tables. You have been warned.

My husband really wanted to come here, so we did. I am not really fond of Chinese buffets as far as this one goes, it's was ok. Not many choices for vegetarians.

Terrible service, terrible food, worst buffet I've ever been to! One star is too generous to give this place!

Definitely not the best buffet out there. If I had to rate the food... I would say it's in between bad and decent. Not a large selection of food and the sushi is disgusting. Don't get it.

6.99 for a lunch buffet (6 lines of more than 10 dishes each and a sushi bar) This deserves better ratings

Its an Asian buffet. You know the type of food they have here, and if you don't take a walk in the food court at most malls and you can sample some. Its the same type and quality of that. I do like that for the dinner buffet you have the option for fresh stir-fry. The sushi is cream cheese heavy, but ok otherwise. The buffets in the area generally have more health code violations due to improper temperature of foods. Try not to get anything cold or that has been out too long. good luck and my the odds ever be in your favor.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
