My husband and I were in Louisville for the weekend and searched for "best Sunday brunch" on Yelp. Wild Eggs popped up so we went! It was about noon and we put our names in. They said it would be about a 25 min. wait. We were waiting and seats became available at the bar, so we grabbed them! I saw other customers having mimosas and had to order one! Delicious! My husband ordered a make-your-own omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and Havarti cheese. The side was their daily grits special with sausage and two kinds of cheese. He also had a choice of breads and chose the biscuit. I had a special egg dish on the menu. They were fundraising for Cancer Research and offered two specials. $2 of the order goes to the charity. I ordered the special with scrambled eggs with spinach, tomatoes, bacon, and cheese. Delicious! It came with potatoes, but they subbed the special grits no problem :o) It also came with an everything muffin. Very yummy! I asked what it was and was told that it's like an everything bagel but in a muffin. The top was crusty and the inside was light and tender. I also ate half of my husband's biscuit which was WONDERFUL! No need for butter! I liked that they gave us our own pitcher of ice water with lemon. The other people at the bar were talking to each other, so there seemed to be a lot of regulars. The waitresses were ultra friendly and efficient. I do have to say that I had to tell one of the workers that they ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom though.

Benny's Gone Wild was excellent, along with the grits of day. Hubby had the corned beef hash and said it was just okay - too many potatoes. Great service. Manager asked how we were doing. Water pitcher on the table is nice touch.

Went during the lunch rush on a Sunday after church was letting out so it was a little busy and had to wait 35-40 minutes to be seated, but it was well worth it. The orange juice is the freshest orange juice you'll ever have unless you grow your own oranges and make it yourself. My son had the bananas foster waffle which came with a huge Belgian waffle with a scoop of ice cream on top, then you pour your own caramel and banana mixture on top. I tried a bite and about died from how delicious it was. I had the raspberry and lemon oh my! Talk about a huge pancake! It consisted of two large pancakes (about 10-12 inches in diameter) topped with raspberry and lemon syrup or some sort of tart along with fresh raspberries. The mixture of the two different flavors went perfectly together and they didn't skimp you on the syrup either. I would definitely recommend this place for an amazing breakfast and will be visiting again.

Came here for breakfast...although, it was a bit of a turnoff that we were told it would be around 30-45 minutes; I think they are told to tell that to everyone. They certainly aren't worried about getting people to come in and I could see why, their service and food was good. There were a lot of empty tables, but they were probably short staffed. After 20 minutes, we were seated. I looked at the menu while waiting for our table so I was ready to order as soon as we sat down; I got the eggs bennie (toasted muffin+canadian bacon+poached eggs w/ hollandaise) , which was just the right amount of flavor and it was perfectly filling, yum! My sister got the Smokin' Hash (corned beef hash w/potatoes), which came with an everything muffin! I definitely recommend it, it's so good! I was perfectly satisfied with my breakfast.

This is unique and yummy! You don't get that often. All types of different option and everything is great. Took my hubby there for Father's Day he loved it.

First off, I just love breakfast and this place knows breakfast! Almost everything on the menu is fantastic. I recommend getting their waffles or an omelette. Or maybe don't worry about calories and get their cinnamon roll. The service was great and I like how they keep a pot of coffee on the table so guests can refill their mugs themselves.

Literally my favorite breakfast place in the country and I've eaten at a lot of great places! Everything on the menu is excellent. So good that it's worth the wait (on the weekends). I particularly love the yellow submarine sandwich and the Hot Brown, but well the Burger is fantastic and the pancakes are too...

I was excited to try Wild Eggs because everyone raves about it and was not disappointed. We came for Sunday brunch around 10:30 and the wait was about 30-40 minutes. Our waiter was friendly and the food arrived promptly, despite it being busy. I ordered the wild eggs benedict and tried a bite of my friend's pancakes. Both were delicious. The eggs benedict had an interesting twist, with a grilled tomato/mushrooms instead of the usual ham. The egg was poached perfectly and it all melted together very nicely. My friends' orders of pancakes were massive- definitely enough for 2 people to share. Looked light and fluffy. There is outdoor seating, which was perfect since it was a beautiful morning.

Luckily this place is four states away, or else I would need a bigger belt. There are virtually no diners in Kentucky, but when you taste the homemade goodness of Wild Eggs you won't miss them one bit. Followed Yelp! reviews here on a weekend trip and was not disappointed. Had the Biscuts with Gravy, the ham grits and the Kalamity Kate's Boarder Benedict. Everything was spot on delisious. My wife had the Hot Brown Eggs and they were one of the best Mornay Sauces of our trip. I can see why this place get such rave reviews. I wish I had Lunch here as well. With 3 locations this place is a must on any trip to Louisville, and this location shares a parking lot with another Lousville highlight, The Comfy Cow.

I had a feeling the reviews would be extremely positive for Wild Eggs, and my review is no different. I love the place! We go for breakfast at the Herr location often. There's always a wait; but we enjoy shopping at the Amazing Green Planet, and my son loves playing with the open toy table there until a table is ready for us. My husband is a huge fan of the Raspberries & Lemon Oh My! pancakes. The Veggie Bennie Florentinie is my favorite, but I recently started just going down the menu each time we go to try something new. I haven't had a bad meal yet. The iddy biddy omelette is our son's favorite, and we try to order something with an Everything Muffin (another favorite of his) to give to him too. Highly recommend!!

While I tend to hate the Wild Eggs crowd, the food brings me back every time. The wait can be hefty, especially on the weekends, but if you have the time to wait, it's worth it. With lots of great vegetarian options, I've found myself trying nearly everything on the menu. My favorite is definitely the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, sans chorizo. Get fresh squeezed OJ. Delicious, but that pricey little glass goes by quickly. Their drinks are also good. One of my favorite bloody mary's is the Proud Mary from Wild Eggs, so check it out.

I like this location and the one out English Station best. (I am done with Dutchman's - but that is another review!) My favorite is the Calamity Kate and my kids always get the pancakes. Plain pancakes, pancakes with chocolate chips, pancakes with chocolate and peanutbutter chips, whatever - just throw it in a pancake. This is definitely a great place to get breakfast or lunch with a friend or your kids.

Let me first say I have been a huge fan of wild eggs for a while. However, this visit made me not want to come back. i used to get their stuffed french toast which was AH-Mazing. Not so much this time. It was soggy and runny before even putting syrup on the thing and it tasted very bland. I was highly disappointed but glad I got skillet potatoes too, else I would have been starved when I left.

We were only in Louisville two days, but we spent both mornings here! The menu is extensive and everything sounded great-- very difficult to decide before we had coffee and fully woke up! The everything muffin was seriously everything you could want in a muffin, grits of the day were ridiculously delicious.. cinnamon roll had an amazing caramelized sugar bottom, coffee was fresh, and the servers carry what look like police nightsticks in their belt loops!!

The most amazing breakfast you can have anywhere well.. ANYWHERE. This has always been my favorite place to have a great breakfast and coffee. Not to mention the orange juice and breakfast burrito is to die for.

I rarely give a place a five so this rating is really good . Excellent selections. Freshly made. Really fresh orange juice. One of the best breakfast choices in Louisville in my opinion. Great service. Always appreciative of my business there. Only problem I ever have there is the short wait because it's always full. It's full because it's good!

  • Bill T.

Best breakfast in Louisville hands down.. Not super expensive, but also not somewhere I would be able to go every day.. Expect to wait in the weekends. When friends visit from other cities this is where I take them for brunch. Great food and service. Vegetarian friendly as well.

We love breakfast for meetings for both our team and with clients. BUT, Wild Eggs is simply too noisey and management is beset with a full house most of the times, so they don't cater to any setting other than EGGS! Tables and chairs were being shifted last week all around us, we couldn't even think, must less talk. Even with our determined breakfast wishes for food, we felt disturbed, jostled, ignored - - won't return for awhile, probably not even for good EGGS, and yes, the food is good! It's not the food but the place!

Best Pan Cakes any where. Very Bitter Coffee, nasty , The Grits are great . Mid after noon there's no wait .....

great food and usually good service. the only peeve is they will give you yoru check before you are done eating and there is a long wait to get a table - but that is because there are not a lot of great breakfast options in Louisville. Overall, consistently great breakfast fare - we frequent.

Wild eggs is one of the best breakfast/ brunch places in the world. It really is. They have this savory breakfast muffin called the " everything muffin" which is made with butter, garlic, poppy seeds, cheese and crack cocaine. Actually, it may not contain crack cocaine, I should not claim it does, but it has some sort of insane, addictive substance in it that will make you think about these muffins for every minute, for every day, for the rest of your life. These muffins are the muffin. If you were to have a muffin showdown with this muffin and another muffin, this muffin would win and make that other muffin cry. A lot. I would go have this muffin every single day but some other jerks also love these muffins so at Wild Eggs you have to wait for 40 minutes to get a table and in that time: Someone will run over your foot with a stroller. Some lady will turn quickly, hitting you in the face with her Louis Vuitton bag. Some old guy will speak too loudly about his friend with prostate issues. You will see other diners enjoying YOUR muffin while you wait to be seated. But then you will finally get a table and they bring you a nice pitcher of water with lemons and you can order your Farmers market omlette with your Everything muffin and a bloody Mary. The stuffed French toast is also Amazingly good. And then if you are with your son he will order a side of bacon AND a side of sausage and when the check comes your son will proclaim he wants MORE bacon. So when the waitress returns your credit card she will give him a to-go box filled with bacon. At no charge. How lovely is that? You can also purchase an everything muffin to go. Not that I would know anything about that.

Love the food and the service! The wait is expected just because it's a delicious place to eat! I had the Kalamity Border Benedict which is two medium poached eggs on the most amazing corn bread... The skillet potatoes were crispy and not greasy; the everything muffin didn't even need butter it was so moist (think everything bagel in muffin form). It was just a little loud

This is my second trip here. The first time I made my own omelet and had the everything muffin and grits of the day with turkey sausage and cheese. The muffin was excellent and my egg white was a-ok. My second trip was better with the surfer girl omelet. My group ordered food and one of the items took a while and the manager and chef came out to apologize and didn't charge for the item. It's not "slap yo momma" good but it's decent enough that I would go again.

I like coming to this particular location when I'm in town. The wait is usually a lot less compared to the other 2 locations. The food is consistently yummy and the coffee is very good. You can't have a perfect breakfast join without good coffee! Everyone I know, loves The Everything Muffin. I have yet to have anything on the lunch menu, but after having lunch with a girlfriend and seeing the reuben she ordered. That might change soon. The kid's menu is great and it's a very family friendly place.

I am so happy that Wild Eggs came to town. Breakfast variety was limited and pedestrian, not bad, but nothing to rave about. I find that Wild Eggs adds some much needed excitement. The menu is full of options from breakfast, brunch and lunch. Clean and well lit, with fabulous staff. Don't be afraid to try something new each time you go; you won't be disappointed. Well worth the price which is in the median range for breakfast, you really get what you pay for here. If you don't want to wait long come early, they open at 8 a.m. at the Herr Lane location. Kudos to Wild Eggs!!!

Love, love, love this restaurant! The food is sooooooooooo good. I could eat a dozen of the everything muffins and I always get the grits of the day. The coffee is very yummy and bring your own omelets are a must. Some of the things I have ordered there are a little bland, I must admit. Also, its very pricey for breakfast foods. Despite that, I give it 5 stars because of how good the food is!

Wild Eggs is truly an exceptional breakfast joint in Louisville. It is one of the few places I can't wait to take guests when they come visit from out of town. Everything I've had has been great, but if you haven't had their non-traditional spin on biscuits and gravy, I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite spots in the ville to get breakfast! Wild mushroom scramble is amazing! Everything muffins are so good! The grits of the day are usually exciting! the wait can sometimes be an issue though. I cap it at about thirty minutes. It's nice because you can walk around the shops while you wait.

Wild Eggs brings creativity to breakfast, and really stands out with its interesting menu, and even more interesting menu item names. Everything muffins, house special grits and bitter coffee with my own carafe on the table... I wish I was there now. The Surfer Girl and the Mushroom scramble are my top favorites. Do not miss the amazing blueberry pancakes! You're turning Violet, Violet!

everything muffin! best muffin ever! i was in town visiting a friend, and she knows i'm a bruncher and she loves wild eggs, and made sure we were able to fit it into my trip. we got there about 9:30 on sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait. no biggie, they had complimentary coffee up front, that was delicious, for while you wait. our waitress was super friendly and quick to take our drink and food orders. i had the Kelsey "KY" Brown. delicious. i had never had a hot brown before, and this was all crispy bacony, toasted up, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. i couldn't believe how good it was. my friend had the farmers market skillet, and she said hers was also amazing. that everything muffin that come with a lot of the dishes is so good, its like corn/poppy seed/garlic and all buttery. i've never had anything like it and i would love to find a recipe similar to it since i've never had brunch like that in chicago. my hot brown didn't come with one, but i took one home with me. overall, i can't wait to go visit louisville again and go to wild eggs for brunch. the food was so good, the service was super friendly, and it was under $25 for both of us for food and beverages.

This was my first trip for Sunday Brunch with friends after wanting to try this place for a long time. Be prepared to wait on the weekends, but free coffee while you wait and the food is definitely worth it! Everyone loved what they got and service was great for how busy the restaurant was. I got the breakfast burrito and had plenty left to take home too. I can't wait to go back and try something new!

It's not just the eggs that are amazing! It's all so, so good. If any of you have been to the Chicago land area and have been to this fabulous place called Egg Harbor up there then just know that Wild Eggs is its counterpart here in Louisville. If you're not from Chicago then don't even mind any of that jibber jabber that just came out of my mouth. My mom and I arrived around 10 am on a Sunday morning and it was jam-packed and everyone was practically smiling while eating their food...I could have sworn that I saw a few people's eyes roll to the back of their heads, presumably because the food was just that good. Anyways, back to the point I was making, it was full but we did not have to wait all that long to be seated. The whole restaurant was quite airy and light - very welcoming as a good breakfast place should be. The service we received was very good - coffee was brought to us right away with cream (I of course had to ask for a lot more cream because I don't drink coffee with cream and sugar but rather cream and sugar with some coffee) and our waitress was super attentive despite having many other customers as well. The coffee was actually very good too (it's so necessary that coffee be good) and the menu was extensive, filled with so many tempting options! I was there a few weeks back and forgot to write the review right away (whoops!) so I can't exactly remember all they had on their menu except that it all looked so tasty and if I had a infinitely expanding stomach I would have ordered it all (I hope that sways you into believing it's amazing). I did get the Raspberry Lemon Oh My! Pancakes - O.M.G. No words could possibly describe how freakin' mouth-watering it is. It's a must. So you're going there for breakfast this Saturday or Sunday morning right??? Remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day so you better make it an über delicious one!

The food was 3 star, but the fantastic service pushed it up to a 4. I had a chorizo omelet with cheddar cheese, the grits of the day & the "everything" muffin. I still haven't found a place in KY that puts out the tasty chorizo I became accustomed to in Southern California, so the omelet was a bust. The grits were so-so and the muffin was above average. My wife had two pancakes and a side of bacon; she said both were perfect. The thing that sets Wild Eggs apart from other restaurants in the area is the service. We had several different staff members stop by our table to check on us and chat. I'll go back & try the eggs Benedict next time - they looked fantastic. Oh yeah, almost every table around us included an infant or toddler, so this place is great for families with little ones.

Fantastic and yummy dishes. Wild eggs is one of the hottest breakfast spots in Louisville-- Call ahead on the weekends or expect a wait to be seated. Luckily they have coffee sitting out for the people waiting. Yes, expect a wait on the weekend, I cannot stress that enough! I love that they do upscale breakfast and general breakfast dishes with a twist! Biscuits and gravy with chorizo sausage for example. Also-- fantastic fresh squeezed orange juice that you can sit and watch being squeezed. The service is good, the food is great, just an overall pleasant place to spend your breakfasts and brunches.

The Breakfast Nachos have changed my life. Seriously. So many flavors, each bite is a fork-full of amazing. I'm sure other things at Wild Eggs are great, but I find it hard to stray from my usual. I also like that you can get a whole carafe of OJ. Most breakfast places give you one tiny glass, no refills. I have never been to Wild Eggs on the weekend without at least a 20 minute wait, but Louisvillians love their brunch! It's worth the wait. The service is always prompt and attentive, and everyone always leaves happy & with full bellies. Highly recommended for families and groups! The menu is so diverse, it can surely please everyone.

It was okay. Our server was extremely nice, but food was so-so. I had stuffed French toast, and my husband had an omelette. Mine was overly sweet, and my husband's was too salty. But, a nice bonus- they've got coffee up front in their waiting area that you're able to drink while you're waiting!

The Veggie Bennie Florentine is my favorite item on the menu! I order it every time I visit this restaurant. The poached eggs rest on a bed of spinach with the perfect amount of paprika and other seasoning. The Proud Mary drink was a great pairing with my meal. Let it be known- the drink can be spicy since jalapeños and spicy pickles are included! Our server, Nicole, was very attentive to our needs during our Derby Day brunch. She made sure that our drinks were full at all times and checked on us periodically to ensure we had everything we needed.

I eat there every morning. The scramble eggs are always hot and fresh. The fruit taste like it was just picked from the farm. The potatoes are crisp. Their oatmeal is very good with a variety of fruits to go with it. The egg salad is awesome. Plenty on two pieces of bread with home made chips. Great place for breakfast or lunch.

This place is great. But white people have lost their minds over it. We will wait 45 minutes for eggs. If you go then go early and on Sunday's when Jesus lets his people out...forget it. Too much waiting. The huevos rancheros is awesome. My fave is ht biscuits and gravy. Not that vegan shit they have but the meat one. Spicy.

This is the best breakfast spot around Louisville. There are so many great options on the menu, that I always have a hard time choosing. Their seasonal Pumpkin Pie pancakes are the most amazing thing I have ever tasted. We have always had good service (which seems to be hard to come by around here). The wait is always a little long, but well worth it!

Loved this place.. it obviously gets crazy busy on weekend mornings but if you get there early you can score a table with no problem. Cute little outdoor patio if you want to get some fresh air while clogging your arteries with a cinnamon roll! I went on a Saturday with three other women and we all loved our choices. Fresh ingredients, so many choices it was hard to just choose one. I had an omelette and several bites of my mom's pancakes. We still had leftovers of each and they were nicely packaged in a plastic to go container with plastic utensils when asked. Everything was equally as good the second day. Definitely a hit and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Love them(I say them since I've been to 2 of their locations, both legit)! Probably my favorite breakfast spot thus far. It's good to have a trusted spot for breakfast and this is for sure. Menu is awesome, options are awesome. Love the fact they give you a little pitcher of water and coffee pot, those 2 things had me sold on the place immediately. Well thought out!

Eggscelent establishment! Get the Mr. Potato head.. It is outstanding. Christy very well might be the most efficient, professional, and personable server in all of Kentucky. I kid you not.. She knows her stuff. Come here. Ask for Christy. Thank me later.

This was my second time at this Wild Eggs location and it was good. I went on a weekday for breakfast and was actually glad to see that it was not packed as I had tried going on a weekend before and the waiting time was about 45 minutes. Their menu is very extensive so you can find something to satisfy even the pickiest eater. I had the Breakfast Burrito and it was really really good. The plates are huge so I had a hard time finishing my meal! Service was okay. Will go back!

The space is amazingly comfortable even when full! I had the French toast and they were delicious, soooooo delicious! This is a happening place so be prepared to wait for a table. But it's worth it and you'll never wait for your food as long as you did for the table. Extra friendly service and of course, GREAT FRICKING FOOD!!!

I have been going to Wild Eggs since shortly after their opening. They were and still are my favorite restaurant in Louisville. 3 years ago, i moved to Charlotte, NC and I have spoken about Wild Eggs to everyone I know here. I also must go every time I'm back in town. This is the most incredible breakfast I have ever tried. I actually wish I had the funds and the schedule to open a franchise in NC just so I can eat it whenever I want. My favorite dish is the chilequile. It comes with a tabasco and lime shot which I'm told it to "enhance the taste." I one time forgot the shot and it is true. The meal didn't taste the same. The everything muffin is also a must get. So wonderful. For my drink, I like a pomegranate mimosa. I love watching Wild Eggs grow to more and more locations as they branch out. Please come to NC soon!!!!

I love the food at Wild Eggs! The Creole Omelette is perfect, with just the right amount of spice. The Cinnamon Roll is excellent too, if a little too flaky for my tastes. The hash brown casserole was a little on the bland side. The only thing keeping me from giving a five star review was the wait. We arrived at about 10 a.m. on a Saturday and had to wait 15 or so minutes, even though there were many open tables.

Everything I have tried is wonderful. The pancakes are the best I have had anywhere. One of my kids doesn't order anything else!!! The only thing I'm not fond of is the coffee. It's too strong for me. However, I'm a plain jane coffee type though. So take that with a grain of salt.

Ordered eggs over medium and they were over medium. Ordered crispy bacon and it was crispy. What a concept! Get exactly what I wanted. This place is the real deal. Not the copy cat cookie cutter place across town. Colton was an awesome server as well. Great way to start my day..

Friendly courteous service, Fresh orange juice, good coffee are the openers at this egg place. In our group of 4, no one was disappointed with their meal. I special ordered my 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, bacon, grits and toast and it was made to perfection. You might ask, how can this be messed up? It was the little things that made it excellent. Perfectly cooked crispy bacon, eggs made just right, home made tasting bread and smooth grits. I would only suggest a smaller portion menu; all of the omelettes were 4 egg. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Wow. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while! Quite a bit of the menu is Mexican style and tastes great. Coffee was not the best but we picked up some great code across the street.

Each star is for the service, orange juice, and skillet potatoes. I got the breakfast burrito and was very disappointed. Maybe it's cause I'm from Arizona but when I get chorizo in my burrito I expect it to actually be in there instead of getting just plain eggs. Tortilla and fundido cheese overwhelmed everything. Maybe that's something the chef can do to improve it. Also, I asked for the pork Verde sauce over mine and it didn't happen, didn't complain at the time but that may have saved the meal for me.

I love this place. I always get the Benny's gonna wild; it is so good I can't bring myself to order anything else. The service is always amazing. Only complaint is that it can be a little pricey, but with all seriousness; you get what you pay for.

I couldn't decide what to order since many of the menu options were appealing. I asked the server for a recommendation and i was not disappointed. I had the yellow submarine and i was presently surprised how well the ingredients came together. My wife chose the strawberry mountain and that was a heaping serving of delicious pancakes and strawberries. W will definitely come back and we look forward to trying other great options from the menu.

Even the baby in our group did the happy dance after our latest visit to Wild Eggs. Wild Eggs is almost always packed on a Saturday or Sunday morning, but it is most certainly worth the wait. The free coffee they offer in the reception area helps make the time more bearable, and all memories of waiting for the red buzzer to light up will be forgotten once you are done with your meal. This is one place where I can honestly say I've never had anything bad on the menu. My favorites are the hearty choices under the "Wild Eggs" section of the menu. The combination of piping hot eggs, filling hash browns, and a choice of savory topping (hollandaise sauce, pico de gallo, or my favorite - tobasco!) is indescribeably satisfying. Coffee mugs stay filled and waitstaff are attentive without being over-bearing. My most recent experience was with a large group (10 of us) and a baby. We shared around each others' breakfasts, and every bite was something I wanted to try in the future. Baby was happy too, holding onto the back of mom's chair and dancing an 11-month-old happy jig as our tummies got even fuller. Overall, an experience I would be happy to repeat :)

If you like Breakfast, this is a gooooooood breakfast. It's quick service once you get seated... but they're busy - clearly they've done well with strong following. Expect to wait 15-30 min if you're sleeping in on the weekend, but it's still worth it. This location is good since you can go shopping in the eclectic stores nearby... the buzzer works around all the shops (whew!). My favorite: Fresh OJ, Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. Yum!

We made a special trip to Louisville for Saturday breakfast. It was very busy by the time we got there. We had to wait a few minutes for a table. The place is very clean and the service was good. We started off with the cinnamon roll. It was warm and gooey and totally decadent. I am not sure if it was the type of cinnamon used but It tasted a bit different to me. I then had the Eggs Bennie and they were quite tasty. I really loved the grits of the day which were bacon but I couldn't eat much as they were so very spicy. The price wasn't too bad either. I would probably go a second time to try something different if I found myself in Louisville but I do not think I would make the two hour drive just to eat here again.

This is my favorite breakfast/brunch place. Every menu item I have tried has been delicious. My favorite breakfast dish is the breakfast burrito, it has everything you could every want in a burrito. For lunch, the egg salad sandwich is the best. It's a huge sandwich with a mound of egg salad. Big enough to share if you can part with it ;) While this is a favorite, it is a bit pricey, but worth it every time. I always recommend this place to friends who haven't tried it.

I love me some breakfast. Nothing is better than a good, simple breakfast done up right. Wild Eggs does it up right, folks. From the deliciously interesting "everything muffin" to the endless omelet options, everything on the menu is great. And the orange juice. Oh, the orange juice. This stuff is amazing, people. Fresh squeezed (not like any fresh squeezed you've ever had). The menu isn't especially innovative. Nor is it something you'd fine in a "fine" dining establishment. But they do it right, with fresh ingredients. I always get something different and have never left dissatisfied. If you visit on a Saturday or Sunday morning, expect a wait (this goes for any location). But once the food arrives at your table, it's well worth it. The staff is always prompt, attentive, and armed with fresh cracked black pepper.

My brother in-law found this place. We went breakfast today and I got "kalamity Kate's" it was very good, I plan to take a picture but it didn't happen because I was hungry and it look so yummy so I started to dig into the plate. On the other hand, I was not impress by the waitress that's why I only rated for four stars.

Wild eggs was great! Went on a random Friday morning around 9:30, and had a 5 minute wait. Our waitress was very friendly and personable. I got the omelet, but with only 2 eggs. It was an easy way to cut costs, and had plenty of food! Great breakfast at a very reasonable price.

Breakfast so good, it will make you want to slap your mamma. I had something involving eggs, chorizo, cornbread cakes... honestly I'm not exactly sure but whatever happened on that plate made for an unforgettable breakfast experience. They event had a bagel SHAPED LIKE A MUFFIN. Who does that?! I mean, the innovation!!!! Not to mention the wait staff was so friendly. God love those Kentucky folks, what a nice break from LA. Plus my girls and I were in town for the Derby and got to sit at the cute little curved bar/ table. 5 stars!!

This place is a Louisville must! It has a very unique menu and everything we have tried so far has been delicious. Any time we have family come and visit we always bring them to Wild Eggs. If you are going to go on the weekend I would recommend getting there EARLY so that if you have to wait it won't be too long of one. Plus if you go on the weekend you get free coffee while you wait.

This is the best breakfast/ brunch spot in Louisville- and it's not even close right now. Great food, service and it's CLEAN (100% rating!). You better expect to wait 30-45 minutes if you show up anywhere from 9:30-11:30am on the weekends, but it is worth it. Get the Breakfast Burrito. Don't ask questions. Just get it.

great food and usually good service. the only peeve is they will give you yoru check before you are done eating and there is a long wait to get a table - but that is because there are not a lot of great breakfast options in Louisville. Overall, consistently great breakfast fare - we frequent.

Best breakfast in Louisville hands down.. Not super expensive, but also not somewhere I would be able to go every day.. Expect to wait in the weekends. When friends visit from other cities this is where I take them for brunch. Great food and service. Vegetarian friendly as well.

This was my first trip for Sunday Brunch with friends after wanting to try this place for a long time. Be prepared to wait on the weekends, but free coffee while you wait and the food is definitely worth it! Everyone loved what they got and service was great for how busy the restaurant was.

Everything I have tried is wonderful. The pancakes are the best I have had anywhere. One of my kids doesn't order anything else!!! The only thing I'm not fond of is the coffee. It's too strong for me. However, I'm a plain jane coffee type though. So take that with a grain of salt.

Very nice shopping center location. Clean place. Fabulous service. Good selection. Unique to Ky I had to try the pecan crepe with Bourbon. Was a bit sweet but that was to be expected.

Wow. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while! Quite a bit of the menu is Mexican style and tastes great. Coffee was not the best but we picked up some great code across the street.

The most amazing breakfast you can have anywhere well.. ANYWHERE. This has always been my favorite place to have a great breakfast and coffee. Not to mention the orange juice and breakfast burrito is to die for.

Always great food as usual. I've had the surfer girl everything muffins and fruit and everything was spectacular. I have never had a bad meal here and that would definitely recommend this place to anyone one of my favorite

Wow. That's a great breakfast. The lox and poached eggs were incredible. So many different varieties of breakfast. A little pricey for breakfast, but worth it if you are looking for a little something extra for breakfast
