Came here right after work for a nice dinner and a drink. We were greeted sweetly and seated promptly. Our waitress came and took our drink order once we were seated. We waited quite a while for our drinks to arrive. So we ordered queso dip for our chips, it was worse than melted Kraft cheese with tomatoes. So we opted for guacamole. We waited longer for her to return with the avocados that turned out to be bruised and black; so we just cancelled the dip all together. We waited for quite a while longer for our food. We had people come in after us, who were served their food before. Our food turned out to be nothing spectacular or even quite worth the wait. The Chili, too spicy with no taste and the Ribs too sweet with no real flavor. We had the Chicken Chili, Ribs with waffle fries & the Enfuego burger. Stale chips with bland tomato sauce salsa. However i definitely would NOT recommend their Long Islands unless less you're a fan of it mainly being sweet & sour mix. I will not be returning for an encore after tonight.

I usually don't give chains 5 stars and this one certainly wouldn't deserve it normally. Most of the time, unless we have one of two servers, Brittany or T our service is terrible. Tonight we had a rocky start by being ignored, but T came by and served us and made everything right even though it wasn't his section. He even told his manager, Kelly what happened and she came out and apologized. This is why they get 5 stars for their 2 excellent servers!

The 3 stars is for cleanliness and service. The food is another story. Execution is fine- kitchen doing the best they can with substandard ingredients. Ingredients- by corporate- is SORELY LACKING. Those ribs come from the same animal that BWW's ribs come from- whatever that animal may be. YECK! Chain menu needs a complete overhaul. Good store, problem is at corporate level.

I don't really think I'm a food snob ... but I think if you live in the Bay Area long enough, you inevitably and unintentionally become one. That being said - most of our meals when we eat out are either at mom and pop hole in the wall joints OR some Michelin rated (/ or offshoot) expensive restaurant. I say all this to help set the bar on how I'm rating Tumbleweed because outside of my Bay Area snob-bringing, this place was great. We were greeted as soon as we opened the door, seated immediately and met with excellent service from everyone. Drinks were refilled before the first one ran out, food was prompt and anything we asked for was brought immediately - by those standards it's 5 stars all the way. They have a pretty extensive menu as well as a affordable lunch menu. I ordered the Avocado chicken salad with lime cilantro dressing. The dressing ended up being more tart than I expected (I thought it would be a bit creamier), but you almost didn't need any dressing. We ordered fresh guacamole which they made at your table taking care to add only what everyone will eat - with fresh and ripe avocados, you can't go wrong with guac. Bottom line: For a Cali girl like me, I probably won't beg to come back here again, but I think it would be a great / dependable place to go with coworkers, for happy hour or for light appetizers. It's more comfortable than a "order at the counter" joint, but not stuffy either.

Absolutely horrible! I'm not sure what was worse the ketchup salsa they served with stale crumbs not even whole chips. Or if it was the cold queso dip that was nothing more than Velveeta with one chili not chilies no no just one. Or maybe it was the fire chicken that was topped with raw jalapenos and a slice of unmelted pepper jack cheese. This was not a matter of bad service this was all back of the house issues.
