We have been coming here for years almost every Sunday. They have the best doughnuts and great prices. Especially if you compare it to the big chain places. Word to the wise get there early because they sell out fast and there is usally a line. Don't want to see that doughnut that you were drooling for in line and some one takes the last one! If you like doughnuts then this is the place to be!!

I LOVE SUGAR AND SPICE! I wish it was closer to where I live but anytime I can stop by in Fern Creek I always do! They have an amazing selection of unique donuts and I am never disappointed. They have a chocolate and coconut one that tastes JUST LIKE a Samoa girl scout cookie! They are also smaller rectangle donuts so I don't feel as bad eating 2 (girls gotta justify). Stop by to grab a box, grab a few, or grab one - no judgement. The staff is also very friendly!

They are definitely open at 5am. 75¢ each for donuts, $4.75 a dozen for glazed and chocolate covered. I stopped in the other morning and found them to be doing a brisk business. I got a fresh 'critter' doughnut. It was excellent. If you are in the area, stop by for the freshest doughnuts available.

They have a wide variety, but imho this is where to get Louisville's best glazed doughnut. But come early, they go fast.

The donuts are always fresh and delicious. Make sure you try their cookies and creme donut, it is a popular favorite! Go here if you're looking for some good donuts.

I a really big Doughnut fan and so far these are my favorite in Louisville. First of all the people in there are really nice, the women helping me would though in some extra Doughnut's if she thought some where too small. They are very inexpensive cheaper then most chain places and the doughnuts them self's are wonderful. There always soft, with great toppings (if you call them that). I also applaud how they try out different flavors like cotton candy or bubblegum. To top it all off there packaging is great if you appreciate that sort of thing. If your in the area or really like doughnuts it's worth the drive.

Hands down the best doughnuts ever!!!! My favorites are the chocolate long johns or the chocolate and peanut butter! They have tons of other flavors that I would love to try! Get there early if you go!!!

Delicious! I'm basing this off of the 2 dozen that a co-worker brought in, but I feel confident in saying that they are simply amazing. Light, airy, and creative combinations make every box a treat. These donuts are a little smaller than typical, but this just gives you an excuse to eat another. "They're so small, I can probably eat another one" and then BAM! You've got a reason to eat another donut. I just ate a long john with crubled toffee and chocolate drizzle because the frybread with raspberry filling was smaller than the normal boring glazed donut that I usually have on Friday. I feel good about my choice, about myself and about Sugar & Spice's ability to meet my sugar needs. Definitely try Sugar & Spice Donut Shop!

Yes, this place is amazing. It's unassuming inside and out, but a real gem. I personally think Krispy Kreme donuts can taste chemically. These are about the same size, but all goodness. My husband and I loved the four flavors we tried (chunky monkey, blueberry, bubblegum sprinkle, and coconut custard), and look forward to going back to try some others.

I want to bathe in these donuts they are so delicious. Their dough is light and airy, with a perfect touch of yeasty goodness. Their glaze is thin and doesn't distract from the donut itself. They have the biggest selection of flavors I have ever seen, ranging from black forest to coconut to turtle. They aren't "hot and now", but I've found about 5 seconds in the microwave easily fixes that. Best of all, they are extremely reasonably priced! I am taking off one star because they seem to run out quickly. You would think they would realize their popularity by now and plan accordingly, but I am almost always denied my favorite flavor because it's already gone.

Carb fest! Mmmmm donuts..... Went on a Sunday morning, smack in the middle of the church crowd. Bought half a dozen donuts and inhaled them within the hour. They were sheer perfection - especially the chocolate peanut. I'm salivating just thinking about it!

This place was the highlight of my Saturday morning as a kid. They have been at this strip mall location through thick and thin. Fluffy bread with just enough frosting, overall good quality donuts. I would highly highly encourage you to go early. They make a limited amount everyday and when its gone, its gone. I went at about 7 am on a Saturday morning and the line was out the door. I personally recommend the chocolate covered long johns with no filling. mmmhmmmmmm, nom nom nom

My favorite donuts in Louisville. I really like their variety. Not only do they have cake donuts, but also the light airy donuts. The flavor selection is great as well. All of the standards plus some of their own creations. When I am in the mood for donuts, this is where I go. Get their as early as you can because they go pretty fast!!

Great doughnuts, great customer service! My family loves the coconut custard and Oreo cheesecake doughnuts but every type we have tried has been great! Their glazed are the best glazed doughnuts I've ever had. Glazed dozen is $5, assorted dozen is $7! You can't beat the quality for the price!

Handmade with love from a pack of dedicated grandmas, Sugar Spice certainly adds a sweet punch to another wise lacking stretch in Fern Creek. They only make what they make, so get there early. Nothing too exotic, with breakfast meats or whatever, but the flavor a they bring are dead on. Tried a Root Beer variety this last trip and it hit the spot.
