I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of donut here. I came in on a Saturday, pretty late in the morning, expecting some stale, dry donuts. I must say, these were the softest, freshest, "airiest" (is that a word?!) donuts I've had in quite some time. The prices are like, half the cost of Dunkin and twice as tasty. The selection wasn't vast by any means, but I supposed that's what I get for showing up hungover rounding out toward mid-day. I'll definitely be back, a little earlier in the morning to get a better selection next time.

It's been almost a year since I reviewed the shop so i thought I would put a few kind words down here. they haven't changed. They still have the best doughnuts especially the chocolate long john custard. The service is delightful

I was expecting rude based on the reviews of others, but I got "indifferent" that may come from the end of a long morning. But they are close enough and the donuts are good so I'll keep trying to catch them on a bad day. It would be nice if they offered more coffee choices. So four for the donuts and collection of old dudes hanging around talking, one star for the adventure.

Absolutely horrible service. The people that work there are rude. I have ordered 6 dozen donuts a week for a while and overlooked their rudeness but it's just not worth it. Never going back.

This place is amazing!!! Line was to the door by 8AM. Authentic fresh baked donuts. Fritters are incredible. Happy wife and kids.

Fantastic. These are the kind o fresh made donuts I used to get as a kid. Get there early on a weekend like before 830 or u will fight the crowd and things get picked over. If you like apple fritters their r the best around and that goes double for the blue berry donuts.

Work for a local coffeeshop that would order doughnuts every weekend. One Sunday the owner of City Doughnuts went off at my boss for ordering doughnuts. Horrible customer service. If you work in a doughnut shop you should be friendly.

We stopped by last Saturday for donuts on our way to park, will have to say will not stop again. The girl behind the counter is rude , no personality at all. Thats all it takes for us not to return she acted as if everyone in there was a bother.

Great little doughnut shop, with fresh offerings every day. I have passed this place for two years and decided this week to stop in. It did not disappoint and the prices are very reasonable! Definitely try the apple fritter!

This donut shop rocks! I have a strong basis for comparison since I grew up a few miles from Bill's Donuts of Centerville, OH. Bill's has been featured in magazines and newspapers (USA Today) as top donut place in the US. State Donuts is very close to the quality. Does not have the variety. The apple fritter is amazing. Give it a try!

This may be the shortest review I've ever written... because I only have two things to say: 1. Deliciousssss! Yum yum yum 2. Get there early (like, before 8 am) if you want a good pickin' from the donuts! They run out quickly, and then close when they're out.

Great donuts be the attitude of the worker has much to desire. You never here a "MY I help you." Or "Is there anything else I may get you." It's what do you want and what else do you want. I can take the ugly attitude for the great donuts though. Maybe she's just not a morning person.

My favorite donut shop. The apple fritter is the best. Go early and the donuts are still hot. They sell fast on Saturdays and you may not have your favorite available if get their late in morning. Attendant could be a bit more friendly but she is very efficient.

Grabbed a few donuts here a couple months ago. I was lucky to get a couple of the last ones before they ran out. I'm guessing it's best to go early. If give it 5 stars if there was more ambiance but being so simple inside adds to the charm.

The only thing this place has going for it is connivence. Located really close to my office makes it great to stop in and get my strawberry donut fix. I am huge donut fan and could probably eat a whole dozen myself but this would not be my choice in donuts. It's worth a try. I have really high standards for a great donut.
