Chicken tenders, fries, slaw, Texas toast, and Cane's sauce. Your only options are how many chicken tenders, and what to drink. That being said, the food is amazing for what it is. I am fairly certain their sauce is illegal because the stuff is addicting! Don't order expecting the best meal of your life, but if you are craving chicken, Cane's will scratch that itch.

Food is great awesome chicken every time. But the service is not good some of the workers are very rude and not helpful. With so many places close to them they should do a better job with that.

LOVE RAISING CANES! We don't have one where I live and miss it a lot as a place I used to frequent in college. After 7 years, it was just as I remembered it...juicy chicken strips, delicious sauce (cane sauce) and tasty fries. My only complaint is that pretty much all the tables in the entire restaurant were dirty and had not been wiped down from what was most likely a lunch rush.

If you're looking for variety.....turn around. But if you've been having dreams of chicken fingers dancing in your head, then you've hit the jackpot! The menu basically consists of chicken finger meals based on how many of them you want, and then a sandwich that is comprised of....you guessed it....chicken fingers! The meals come with fries, slaw, and a giant, amazing piece of Texas toast. The fries are nothing special, but the chicken makes up for it. Its breaded the appropriate amount, incredibly juicy, and large in size. With the chicken comes Canes Sauce. Its a mayo/Worcestershire/pepper based sauce that pairs great with the chicken and really sets itself apart from other sauces. They also make their own fresh squeezed lemonade! And their sweet tea is true southern style and you can buy it in 1 gallon jugs if you choose to do so.

You'll find it a bit more costly than most fast food places and it takes more time for food -- but that's because everything is cooked fresh and the chicken is quality. Their fare isn't frozen chunks of battered chicken like most fast food places. Also, the tea is excellent. It's a silly kitschy place where they'll ask you funny questions when you pull into the drive thru. Their mascot is the owner's dog. If you don't want chicken, you definitely shouldn't stop here. However, It's worth stopping in if you appreciate quality chicken.

The first time I went to Canes, I thought, seriously? just one thing they sell? But I must say the chicken is excellent and the sauce is what makes it. I always get the three-piece. They make fresh lemonade every day and I mix it with unsweet tea. Food quality is always high and there's always plenty of staff to wait on you. The place is always very clean. They are in the lobby constantly cleaning up.

Our first visit to this restaurant was not a good one. The tables looked as if they hadn't been cleaned all day, the drink/condiment area was very dirty and the ketchup dispenser was empty. The prices seemed high but we assumed the chicken fingers must be huge... they aren't. In fairness, the chicken was tender and tasty and the fries were great. The layout of the restaurant kept people bumping into each other and was difficult to navigate for order pickup, drinks and condiments. We will probably not be back and certainly won't go out of our way to eat here again, especially with Chick-Fil-A right across the street.

They are always consistent. Food always good. Staff always pleasant. Slow, Slow, Slow. Every time. Takes an easy 10-15min at the drive thur. With or without people ahead of you.

I only stopped by here earlier last week because my kids wanted chicken strips. To be perfectly honest, "Smells can be deceiving!" This place smells really good when you drive up but the chicken is a bit bland. I think the strips are pretty good for kids but not flavor thriving adults such as myself! The one nice thing I really would say is that the "texas toast" is kind of good. Other than that--I'll stick to making my own at home or if I have another night where I do not want to cook I'll probably head to Zaxby's or Chick-Fil-A.

4 stars if you want really good chicken fingers. 1 star if you don't want chicken fingers because that is all they serve. Okay, they have a few side dishes but your main choice is just how many chicken fingers you want. Prices are decent. With tax, a 3 chicken finger basket with fries, "raising cane" dipping sauce similar to a smooth thousand island, texas toast and a fountain drink was $6.88. The sides of fries, toast or coleslaw can be subbed out for each other with no charge. I subbed cole slaw. The chicken fingers were very good- moist, just the right amount of breading, not greasy and hot and fresh. A little smaller than I expected them to be. Fries were thin crinkle cut style with a decent amount of salt and also cooked hot. Slaw was standard creamy slaw. The place is brand new so of course it is clean and modern. Staff was pleasant at the counter. Complaints are that the parking lot is small and a little awkward and once the strip shopping center next store (under construction currently) is completed and leased out, the lot will likely be annoyingly crowded. The floor was clean but the tiles were very slick and slippery. A little rain or snow outside and they're going to be like an ice skating rink. I would also have preferred other choices of dipping sauce- the special sauce was really tasty but since their menu has minimal variety, if they want regular return business, it seems like other flavors would really add something (aka BBQ, honey mustard, ranch etc)

I have had canes a few times before but this is my first review. I agree that it's a little over priced . My family of 5 usually cost between $35-$40 dollars. The chicken fingers are generally good and so is the Texas toast. Let's get to the fries...... Gotta say pretty bad. Taste worse than the frozen kind you get at the local krogers. I would think that a place with basically 5 menu items , the fries would be "out of this world good"but alas..... No. My suggestion to ownership find a better fry and you may have something here.

Not sure what the big deal is about Canes. It was mehw. I'd go to chick-fila which is right across the street if I want fast food chicken. Pretty simple menu. I will give them a thumbs up on crushed ice.

Great chicken, great fries, the sweet Tea is awesome all in all great place for a quick snack. However, is all the yelling really necessary behind the counter?

Not sure what the excitement is about this restaurant, the food is very simple and not much seasoning to it. For a company that boasts only using fresh never frozen product, you would think they would take more time seasoning the tenders. The only good things about this place is the sauce, Texas today and crushed ice. If your into simple barely seasoned food, then this place is 5 stars for you. Otherwise go to chick-fi-la(unless you have but allergy)

Raising Canes is definitely a better-than-average "fast" food joint in my book. You won't find a dollar menu available, but your food is made fresh. Plus, the texas toast is simply delicous - such a soft and thick slice of bread! I was rather puzzled when I saw the menu and your only choice is chicken tenders. I got the three chicken tender box that included crinkle fries and a large slice of texas toast. My chicken tenders were hot, juicy, and fresh. Fries were good, but Zaxby's is definitely better with the seasoning and larger-cut fries. Did I mention how great the bread is? Pretty great. The cost for my meal was about $8. This establishment is clean and the cashiers were kind. This is my first trip to Kentucky, so I definitely wanted to try Canes out and I have no regrets. I still think they should expand the menu out because I miss my Zaxby's Wings and Things. Also, they don't have ranch here, which was a downside.

Don't really know why people are raving about this place. The only thing on the menu is chicken fingers and sandwich made of chicken fingers. The choices of sides are fries and coleslaw. The food wasn't terrible. The chicken had a good taste. The sauce had a zip to it. The fries were nothing special as they just served as a way to eat the sauce without looking like a glutton and using a fork. The coleslaw made a nice garnish to my meal as I didn't care to continue eating it. The price was more than what I was happy paying, for what I got. I would've been okay with just getting chicken fingers and sweet tea with a couple sauces. The staff wasn't rude and seemed nice, but the restaurant itself seemed dirty. We had trouble selecting a table because 3 of the empty booths were dirty. The sunlight in the restaurant showed the grease stains and drink rings on the tables that hadn't been wiped. The decor was kind of hokey, using a National Lampoon Christmas Vacation theme and quotes from the movies spread around. Probably won't be back.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. Know going in that your only option is chicken fingers. That is all they have. Only 2 sauces available for dipping. Very limited sides as well. With that being said, if you are in the mood for chicken fingers then you can't go wrong. I like it because its different from Zaxbys and chik fil a. Nice change and always good. I haven't had any issues with staff or wait times. When the family wants chicken, we go here.

Never going back. MGMT obviously doesnt care how long people have to wait for their "fast food". I'm tired of waiting 10 min with nobody ahead of me in the drive through. You can get an oil change in the time it takes to get your food. Ridiculous.

Oustanding location, great decor and interior for a fast food chicken finger joint. Have visited this location once and after a week of being open it was still an absolute mob scene. Have never seen that many people flock to a fast food fried chicken joint. It was like Louisville had never heard of chicken fingers till this place opened. Should be a highly successful store for Louisville. Always nice to see new business come town.

There are a lot of chicken places in Louisville-- but nothing beats Canes. I secretly wish I could dunk everything in Canes sauce. It's a great clean, cheap, fast place to eat. My office is located really close and I love eating here for lunch. Give it a try and see what you think!

Best chicken fingers in the world and their sides are great also. The dipping sauce is amazing. Fries are the weak spot but they aren't bad.

In the mood for chicken? You're at the right place. I'd never heard of Raising Cane's before one was built in Westport (Louisville area). The menu doesn't complicate your brain...only 4 menu items. Chicken is always hot as Hades and perfectly breaded. Of course, what's Canes without the famed sauce? NOTHING. sometimes, i think i could drink that stuff (is that too extreme? meh...yolo, right?) You can dip anything in that stuff and it would taste phenomenal. The second best thing next to the chicken is the bread they serve with it...it's like the dessert, i always save it for last. cause i'm a bread addict (and that's probably weird, too). Wash it down with a cold sweet tea and you've completed your meal. Restaurant has been consistently clean every time i've visited and remembered....Cane's just hits the spot during late nights for us college kids. My mom recently experienced this place for the first time a couple weeks ago and her only comment on it was (while nomming on slaw): "ohmygod-i-don't-want-to-go-anywhere-else-for-chicken-blargghargh."

OVER priced, not that good, NO dipping sauce except Caine sauce which was OK but not great. Saw one customer bring his own sauce. AC was not working and Sun was beating down making it hot. Tenders are small. Probably will not go back unless all food place close. Also sides were small, tasted ok, small for what I paid.
