My family and I go here quite often. The food is great and the staff all go above and beyond.

This is definitely some of Kentuckian's best pizza if your wanting more of a mom and pop kinda pie. It is very kid friendly and they host great weekday specials. The pizza is very reasonable and won't throw you off your weekly budget.

I love Hometown Pizza, just not this location. The pizza was dry and bland. It tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile prior to them serving it.

Perfectly baked, very friendly staff and management. Great menu choices. Saved $10.00 used my reward points card. Lots of sports on large screen TVs. Super clean. I always eat at a Hometown Pizza whenever I'm in Kentucky.

I don't really like to give bad reviews but this time I just feel like sharing my irritation. I love Hometown as a rule and I usually frequent the one in Taylorsville Ky. But this time I stopped in Jtown. I'm sorry I did. I ordered the same thing I order every time but here you would have thought I requested something super crazy. I asked for extra noodles in my chk Alfredo. In Taylorsville they charge me a dollar and give me about 2oz of pasta extra. Here I had to go through a manager only to be told that he would have to give me a kids size portion and charge me accordingly. It's 2 oz of noodles for Pete's sake! I don't mind paying extra but he acted like I asked for something crazy. I have managed restaurants for years and have had lots of requests for seriously out of this world nonsense. I finally said never mind I'll make the noodles myself when I get home which defeats the purpose of getting takeout!!! I won't make the mistake of stopping here again. I wouldn't want to be responsible for a kitchen going into melt down mode over 2 freaking oz of pasta! Guess what? It only got worse! Young lady brought me my food open the box to show me my food and the onion and green pepper weren't on my pizza. She took it back and said maybe she brought the wrong one. I said that really was my pizza wasn't it. She was terribly uncomfortable and I knew she hated to lie to me. The manager brought my food out and thanked me. I have NEVER gotten food from ANY hometown pizza that they didn't open the box and show me my food. This mans has no integrity. I opened the box myself and low and behold they sautéed peppers and onions and laid it on top of my pie! I said seriously?!?!!! I said you know that's not even right! He said I was gonna tell you. No he was not going to tell me!! That is plain wrong! I said give me my money back for the veggies and scrape them off my pizza and I'll be on my way. Even that wasn't simple. He gave me a stupid coupon cause he said he didn't want to hold up my credit card. What a horrible experience!
