The staff here treats us like family and we literally come here at least 4 nights a week. The margaritas are incomparable for the price and the food is delicious and always comes out fast and piping hot. The patio is beautiful and it's our favorite spot for my friends and me to hang out.

We came to Fiesta Time Amigos after a race in the park. Wild Eggs was busy, so we figured this would be the next best option. Fiesta Time Amigos had quick service, hot food, and lots of options. I was quite impressed with the number of vegetarian options. This is your usual Mexican place in the end though. I had Vegetarian A, an enchilada, burrito, and tostaguac. It was decent. The service was quick and the food was fine. Will I go back? Maybe not, but in a bind, yes.

I would say this place is mediocre at best. I've had friends say that it was good but honestly the only reason we tried it was because we could walk there from my house. The chips and salsa are just OK... It kind of reminded me of tortilla chips with catsup because the salsa was very bland. The cheese sauce was amazing though! I had the fish tacos and they were horrible. They were so salty and fell apart, I couldn't even finish it. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was nice... Unfortunately I will probably never go back unless it was for drinks and cheese sauce.

For a Mexican restaurant, It is what it is. For this area its a great addition because there aren't many options if you live around here. Yes, I have had better Mexican style food. Remember this is probably closer to Tex-mex in my opinion which is fine. The staff is friendly each time we have visited (4-5 times) and what I have ordered has been pretty much what I expected. Sadly, I can't eat spicy food anymore and they have several options for people like me. I ordered the grilled shrimp dinner (the one in the picture) and it was pretty good, although probably not enough for a big eater.

This is a new location in the Louisville area and I have not been to the others, but the food is very good and the staff and friendly. It is a fun atmosphere with the restaurant on one side and a bar on the other, with some outdoor seating. I love that they have shredded roasted/rotisserie chicken as an option for burritos or enchiladas. The barbecoa style beef is very good too! I have had several things there and they have all been good and the service is always pleasant. They are starting to remember what I usually order, which means they are very good and I'm probably going here to often.

I just ate here today arriving with a friend around 5:30PM on a Wednesday, I've got mixed emotions about this place based upon today's experience. When we arrived, we were seated at a booth along the back wall. The entire booth and table were vibrating slightly which I thought was pretty cool. Not sure but possibly the dish washing machine was on the other side of the wall. Our waiter appeared shortly and looked a bit like a Mexican Joesph Stalin without the goatee and that was OK, but then he acted like one - very curt, no sense of humor and somewhat authoritarian. The ambiance was day-care central. We were that only booth that had no children. The 3 -7 year old kids were yelling, screaming, running rampant around the place as their soccer moms were mesmerized by their iPhones. Hey!!! How about looking after your little brats! I could only surmise that on Wednesday kids eat free because the kid to adult ratio was at least 4 - 1 and more on the way in as we were leaving. Next time I will sit in the bar area. The establishment is split into two sections - restaurant and bar. Jeez. I ordered Chili Colorado. What I received was a plate of beef fajitas with onions, green and red peppers and a few errant french fry remnants in a red sauce. It was ok, but definitely NOT any kind of Chili Colorado that I have ever eaten and I've eaten in plenty of Mexican restaurants all over the world. The sauce was blah and not the least bit picante. I mentioned this to young Joesph, but he just mumbled something and wandered off. The food was served quickly and was very hot temperature wise. We were also given chips and dip that were pretty good. My friend ordered a combo special and it was true to it's name and looked pretty good. Prices were reasonable. The waiter loosened up a bit after I spoke Spanish to him. So at the present time I'll give this place a generous three stars - but will revisit someday and see if things have improved. It's only been open three months. Highly recommended if you have small children as they will have no shortage of playmates.

Started out okay but I believe the food has gone downhill. The one thing that still rocks is the Texas Margarita. It's the only thing worth ordering here.

Uneasy about this place. Food good but was threatened by patron because we moved away due to his unruly kids. He didn't like it and apparently wanted to fight. Management didn't seem too concerned. Not sure I'll be back.

So we've been going to what I call cheap Mexican for a long time. For years I have gone to El Nopal which is good, but for cheap Mexican this place is awesome. Food is better, just check it out for yourself. Great drink specials. Ask for Ociel!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy. Just good Mexican food. The California Burrito is great. I love the queso. My wife likes the Margaritas.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
