After a long day on our feet at a local show, my party of three was looking for a nice place to have a sit-down meal. Since were were staying just down the street, we had passed by in the morning hours and thought we might give them a try. During the dinner-hour we stopped in. Once inside, we were seated in a comfortable booth, with chips-n-salsa arriving almost magically. They have an extensive menu of authentic Mexican offerings and frankly, I had a hard time choosing from the variety of dinners, combos and ala carte. In addition, their daily specials were listed on a white board when we entered, with the margaritas catching my eye. OK, I'll have one of those! After ordering a combination plate, I looked around and checked out the layout. It was very nice, clean, with a good mixture of tables for 6 and booths for 4, as well as seating up at the bar. There were quite a few groups seated near us and it was obvious they had a nice family atmosphere. Everyone in my dining party enjoyed the food, and the service was definitely top-notch! I will return.

OK...Let me start off by saying...I give this place 4 stars because of the history we have. It's not the best food, but very tasty. The staff is over the top nice!!! They do have good drinks specials, but it is a run of the mill Mexican food place. I personally would put it a step above El Nepal... Is it unique, No....But you will be treated very well and leave full!

Food was excellent! Service was great. Atmosphere was cheap and meh. Bathroom are very bad. Clean Enough but just really dumpy. The margaritas are awesome machine slushy style. My burrito was HUGE. Everyone else's potions were also enormous. Go very hungry. Prices were what they should be. I do recommend the place. I would suggest to the owner to fix up the men's room and dress the place up a bit and this will make the place a strong 5 star.

We went on cinco de mayo... The place got packed quickly and there were only three servers in the entire packed restaurant... Why would the owner set them up for failure?!!! The food was actually great- but atypical as well but our order was wrong and we didn't get serviced well BC they guy was in the weeds!

Friday night around 7:00, moderate amount of guests. Not to loud, music on the quiet side and a magician making the rounds with balloons for entertainment. Clean kept typical Mexican place. Service is quick and constant. Dinner was out within about ten min of ordering. Used a 2 combo for $12 coupon and ordered a few drinks that were required. Great food!

Gotta give this place 5 stars! Our church group typically invades this establishment every Sunday 15-25 strong. Every staff member is courteous and smiling when they see us. The food is always hot and delicious. They even bring a small sombrero for my 20 month old niece to wear. Always good times to be had there!

I came here after dropping off the uhaul and needing something to eat right away. I am glad I found this place bc their tilapia dishes were so good. I got the tilapia fish taco and my husband got the tilapia alcapuco. They were both really good. Strong flavor, but not fishy at all. It tasted fresh. Their sauces were also very amazingly spicy and delicious. You just can't stop eating the chips and dip bc it's just that good. I would definitely come back here just for their tilapia. The service was decent, and the prices for their entrees were all around $10. I give this place 4 stars instead of 5, bc their rice and beans were not that great.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
