I hit the drive thru at Culvers for lunch today and I was very pleased with my burger. It took a touch longer to come out than most fast food places but it was hot, fresh, and appeared to have been assembled by someone who actually (gasp) cared!! Any one who hits drive thrus every so often knows how rare this can be. I really like their buns also, they have nice flavor and don't disintegrate or fall apart while you are eating. The burger was well cooked and had nice flavor. I also ordered the chili cheese fries which were just ok but that's more a personal preference thing for me. The chili would probably be good on its own I just didn't like it on the fries. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Eating here, because my choices are Burger King (who doesn't do flamed broiled anymore) or Culvers. This is a place that varies. Sometimes they are great and sometimes not so great. I hate that it is random, that I can go in there and sometimes have the best burger ever, but then other times there is no seasoning, and it is bland. The services at the front counter to get my food started out extremely slow; in fact, I would have to ask them for my food. They have started to get better now though.

Hubby knows how much I love fried chicken and how much he loves Culver's cheese curds and milkshakes...so he brought home Culver's carryout a couple of times. I was really excited....until I bit into the chicken....where is the flavor???!!!!! And it was tasteless both times! oh, so very disappointing! The pieces were really small, too. Needless to say, I have not gotten chicken there again.

Although it was a bit of a drive from home, the food came fresh, quick and good. We had prompt service and being it was our first time the counter person was eager and willing to help us understand how to read the menu and decide what to order. I had the Mint Oreo Concete Mixer for dessert. It didn't taste much different than a DQ Blizzard but overall it was still good. It'll probably be regular stop for me when I'm in the area.

Try the cheese curds. Burger was okay, but if you are from Texas, like I am you're still gonna prefer a Whataburger.

Absolutely the best fast food burger and fries. A little out of the way for me but the butter burger and crinkle cut fries are delicious.

My absolute favorite item on their menu is their milkshakes. It is the perfect blend of their ice cream and milk. I swear we would go there just for that, but my BF is also a huge fan of their butter burgers. This might sound wierd, but I would almost consider Culvers upscale fast food. They offer quality food at a very reasonable price. Definitely worth the try if you haven't ever gone.

I like Culvers if I am going to eat fast food and I have a choice I go Culvers. Like all the other fast food places they have the same labor problems but they do try to train better. I think their soft serve is the best of any of the local fast foods. Good usually got but sometimes it is a crap shoot. Butter burgers are usually good too.

Culvers probably ranks as my favorite burger in Louisville. Their double cheddar butter burger is simply delicious, with its crust on the edges of the beef that give it that perfect feel. They also give you a plentiful menu of side options to go along with your entree instead of just offering the normal fries/onion rings. After you've had your meal, make sure to indulge yourself with some of their creamy custard options. They have a very diverse flavor menu and are always adding to it. I prefer the milk shakes over the other available options. They are always made to the perfect texture so that you can drink them without having to lose consciousness trying to get it through the straw. The only issue with this particular location is the wait. The last time I was here it took nearly 15 minutes just going through the drive through. So be prepared to test your patience.

Had an afternoon lunch date and our food was quick, super hot/fresh and hit the spot. They have great tenderloins! -something I grew up eating and miss often. Another reason I like coming here is because it doesn't feel like we were sitting down and eating "fast food". The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly. I always tell myself to save room for the concrete mixer ... but that never happens. There's hope for next time!

chicken tenders taste like sawdust. Salads used to be amazing, NOT. Ask for salad dressing with the salad. None in the bag. So sad. My husband brought home an order my sandwich was not there. Manger was very unconsidered.

I've enjoyed several Culver's up north but this location fails. Snails pace service and below average quality in the foods taste and appearance.

I visited Culver's (also my namesake) with the intention to get ice cream. I would've preferred to stop at other places for ice cream but had a long drive ahead and didn't want to get out of my car. For some reason I thought Culver's had a better selection of milk shakes. More or less it's chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry and you can select a few "mix-ins". I got a vanilla shake with sprinkles and brownie pieces. I took a couple sips and I was done. The brownie reminded me of those Snack wells Devil food cake cookies. Disgusting. I'm never one to turn down ice cream so the fact that I didn't take more than a couple sips is saying A LOT.
