This restaurant is easily the best pizza the south end, and maybe all of Louisville, has to offer. I have always been a huge fan of the Highland pizza restaurants like Papalino's and Spinelli's, but this place is definitely putting up a fight. The atmosphere is outer space and extraterrestrial themed, with cool menu item names like the Sputnik pizza, the Third Rock From The Sun pizza and The Apollo 11 pizza. They have 7 different sauces including pesto, parmesan garlic, and buffalo sauces. In honor of the themed restaurant, I have to make a pun so the crust and cheese are other worldly. My personal favorite specialty pizza is the Yoda's Choice, which is shredded chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and melted mozzarella with the pesto sauce. The location is convenient but I feel like when they take off (fingers crossed), they will need a new location or renovation. It's nothing to do with their business at all, but Dixie Manor's plots seem to be declining. You can tell they are doing the best with the space they were given though. Bottom line: I ate this place every day for a week and loved every minute of it. You will too!

I really like cosmic pizza. The pizza itself is very tasty and I love the vibe of the restaurant. There are huge HDTVs on the walls, and they're always showing a sci-fi movie or the sci-fi channel. The walls have stars, galaxies, aliens, and spaceships hand painted on to them. It's very cool. My boyfriend and I love this place but it is not completely without problems. There is too much cheese on the pizza! The cheese is so heavy, that when you pick a slice up, the cheese and all of the toppings slide right off the pizza. The amount of cheese also overpowers the flavor of the pizza. Their sauces and toppings are very good, but I think with a bit less cheese, the pizza would be perfect.

Great Pizza! Being a new business, they still struggle with advertising, ambient sound (there was none when went just chatter from the open kitchen. The decor will fit a select audience. Think roswell, Area 51, and Men in Black. They started running a buffalo wing special, but didn't have any because we went for lunch and they weren't ready yet. We went to support new local business. The pizza was delicious. The one we choose was called dystopia. It was a barbeque type pizza with chicken, pineapple, purple onions, mozzarella, and provolone. The cheese is definitely quality. It is more of a knife and fork pizza. My kids tried to pick it up and all the toppings were so heavy they slid off. I would definitely carry out a pizza, because the pizza itself is out of this world. The rest of the menu items have equally creative names such as cattle abduction, Yoda's choice, and cryostasis. I only gave it three stars, because the food was awesome, but they still need to work on the rest of it.

Easily the best pizza on Dixie and arguably one of the best in Louisville. And if you don't order the cheese bread, you're doing yourself a total disservice. Eat local, eat Cosmic Pizza!

I'm a fan. I had a good experience at Cosmic Pizza. The server was super nice. He told me about the special - half off an appetizer if we buy a full pizza. Took advantage. Tell you what. The pizza wasn't incredible, but it was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Dystopia", which is a BBQ chicken and pineapple pizza. Great service and really good food. I don't know if it's worth driving across town to visit, but it is a worthy competitor to all the chains around here. I'll absolutely be back. Buy local!
