Wonderful authentic Mexican food at great prices. The staff is attentive, courteous, and helpful. This new restaurant has quickly become a family favorite.

The restaurant was clean and busy. The salsa was bland. The kids meals were premade. The food was average quality. All in all it was fine and probably would be fine anytime you go. It's nothing special but gets the job done.

I figured I would play it safe and order steak tacos. My order was placed to go and the way they packaged it was great. The taco ingredients were placed on the side so the tacos were not soggy when i got home. The tacos were ok but good enough to come back and try some of the other dishes. We can't wait to come back.

Fantastic restaurant! Very clean and inviting; patio seating available. HUGE servings. Loved the Burrito Sarape for lunch--beautiful and colorful plate with amazing pico, cilantro, guac and cheese queso on top of two burritos filled with what had to have been at least a pound of steak! Fantastic kids menu for $3.99 ($1.99 on Sundays and Tuesdays). Great location close to Costco. Will definitely be regulars here!

One of the best Mexican resturants in Louisville. Great service, quality ingredients and reasonable prices . Not your normal Sysco products reheated and plated to suggest real Mexican cooking.

It's just ok, there are much better Mexican Restaurants close by. I suppose it's worth a try if you've never had it...

So...the closeness to my home might have initially brought me to this Mexican restaurant, but the food and amazing happy hour keeps me coming back at least 2x a month. I am normally a enchiladas type of gal, but the first time I went to Casa Fiesta, I was inspired to try the Steak Bandera. When I say "inspired," I do mean they had an awesome picture that made my mouth water. Needless to say, that has been the only entrée I've ordered from them...accompanied by queso and a Modelo Especial. With a happy hour where you basically steal beer and margaritas, it's good that this place is within walking distance from home.

Being from the eastern side of the state, I was very excited upon learning this is THE casa fiesta from Richmond, KY. Same menu and everything! With that being said, food is great! They have a good happy hour during the week too but there is very rarely anyone there during the week when we go. However, the weekends are crazy busy and service is slacking when they are busy. I would recommend this place to anybody, but be prepared for subpar service when they're busy as they're only used to having a few guests at a time.

A++++ Real goat cheese on the food and decently priced. This place also offers good drink specials and the staff was incredible! My boyfriend had the Grilled Chicken Loco Burrito (?) basically grilled chicken in a flour tortilla with cheese on top & rice on the side. I had a beef burrito with red sauce on top & cheese enchiladas. All of it was amazing & we will definitely be going back.

My girlfriend and I have been frequenting Casa Fiesta now for quite some time and have had a very enjoyable experience each visit. The staff are always very attentive and get our orders taken and food out to us in a timely manner. Their happy hour prices are very good compared with most in the area. The seating is very comfortable and their are plenty of televisions around for viewing.

It's a typical suburban Mexican restaurant, comparable to El Nopal, and that's a good thing. Free chips and salsa, decent food, excellent value for your dollar. I had the Burrito Serape ($7.99 from lunch menu). It had two flour tortillas filled with steak strips, topped with lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, and white queso sauce. I could do without the shredded lettuce and the guacamole wasn't great, but the steak was very copious and tasty. The free chips and salsa was better than average--the chips were still warm and the salsa was slightly chunky and well spiced (but not in the sense that it was hot). They have El Yucateco sauce on the table if you want heat.

Good meal and good service. Most good is Americanized Mexican but their new traditional taco menu is very good. Kids chicken taco salad and nachos we enjoyed by our children. We have become regulars.

Very good food. Service was nice and fast. The salsa is really good. The chips are crisp not stale. The fajita chimichanga is excellent. Rice is good. Quacamole is fresh, but a little bland. Still acceptable.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
