Stopped by for a quick lunch and was delighted with the service and the meal. Had a personal pizza (d'seina or similar name) -- spinach, cheese, tomatoes... What's not to love? The side salad was delicious. A variety of wonderful crisp greens, tomatoes, mozzarella, onions (which I removed!)... Perfect size to complement the personal pizza. Took some back to hotel and it was good cold the next day (as most pizza is!) Server was very friendly and speedy.

I have to admit that I discovered BoomBozz by total accident, as I was in town for a business trip and actually decided to dine elsewhere but while passing I decided to give in and give BoomBozz a try, and I am glad I did. I arrived shortly after 6pm, just missing the happy hour specials however I decided to go with an individual size BBQ pizza, which was served up pretty quickly. The pizza itself was good, with good size pieces of chicken and a fair portion of bbq sauce, just enough without overpowering the pizza. In addition to my pizza I ordered two beers, a Kentucky Kolsch and a Boombrew Blonde, which is apparently brewed just for BoomBozz. Both beers were tasty and went well with the pizza. In addition to a large beer selection, there was also a large selection of bourbon available, unfortunately I didn't get to try the bourbon. The waitress/bartender was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. There are more than enough TV's scattered around so this would make a great place to catch a game. Another nice touch that I noticed was the cell phone charging station located to the right of the bar, I watched several people top off their phones battery as I enjoyed my meal. Next time I am in the area I would probably return and give this place another try.

This was my first time at a BoomBozz (how it took me this long, I don't know....) I was here primarily to watch the Wisconsin/Duke NCAA championship game. I got the blonde beer, because of the happy hour/"social hour" special. It wasn't bad. I also got the white pizza, which I will get anywhere that has a white pizza on the menu. It was pretty tasty. Not super spectacular, but it hit the spot. Service was kind of meh. The place wasn't super packed (since no KY teams were in the final....) The parking situation leaves something to be desired. Because the parking lot was completely full I thought there would be no where to sit inside....and there was plenty of room.

Really good pizza. Not my top choice in Louisville, but still really good. I like that they have some really unique specialty pizzas. BoomBozz also has a good beer selection. They have good happy hour deals on both food and drinks throughout the week. There's tons of locations around Louisville, and they all seem to be pretty consistent with good food and service. I'm definitely a fan of BoomBozz.

Who makes Calzone's without ricotta? In all my years, eating in hundreds of pizza restaurants, not one left out ricotta...until Tony BoomBozz. What was ordered was a sausage calzone and instead I got pizza dough folded over with sausage and mozzarella and sauce on the side. It was a sacrilege... my ancestors turned over in their graves. Generations of Italians cried, "Mama mia, porca vacca!" Get with tradition BoomBozz and change your recipe! Also, the family ordered a BBQ pizza...chicken was cut too thick and the sauce was too sweet. overall a terrible meal.

Oh Boom Bozz, I'm so happy you've decided to be a few miles from my house. We've been twice now, once as a date night (pizza & beer is the way to my heart) and a get together with friends. Both experiences were fantastic and will definitely bring family and friends here when they visit. On our date night, we both ordered some beer on tap. It came quick and ice cold. We had a few questions about the menu and (I want to say Ben) helped us out and if he wasn't 100% sure on something, he'd check for us. He was quite awesome. Another thing that really stood out: we had placed our appetizer order (pretzels and beer queso are bomb!) and ordered our pizza with pepperoni added. Our appetizer came and we devoured. Then the manager came out with our pizza and told us how they had forgotten the pepperoni on the pizza he had, but to enjoy a slice or two from that one while our pizza with the pepperoni was being baked. Kudos to them for realizing the mistake before we even knew about it and having a game plan before confronting us. So basically we got a free pizza to enjoy at home later. That's great service!

Delicious pizza, cool setting, good service and great specials...how can you beat that? We stopped in on Sunday around noon and our waiter pointed out the Sunday specials. You could mix and match but I got a Caesar Salad and the individual Tonys Supremo pizza for $8.99! Great deal and great pizza. Stop by and try it. I will definitely be back again. Maybe in the evening for pizza, beer and to sample some of the bourbon ;)

Stopped for the night after 13 hour drive. Was very pleased to find a relaxing affordable place for dinner. Great pizza, beer and bourbon selection. Will return when passing through again!

We arrived to the surprise that after calling a head we would have to wait a long time by the girls up front, and they were a little rude. After the manager came over, he gave us the back room to accommodate our baseball team nicely!! The food was amazing, and the waitress was awesome. I recommend this place highly, but the hostesses were not friendly.

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, pretty good services and very clean. I had the stuffed mushroom a little pricey but good. Then we had the buffalo chicken and Tony's supreme pizza it was good but nothing amazing and the price was a little high for the what seemed like basic. I was also not a huge fan of their red sauce. Overall it was Ok but prolly won't be back

Delicious food and a friendly staff make this a wonderful place to eat. It's great for families as well. While I miss the Mongolian Grill, I am more than happy to have a BoomBozz nearby.

I've always loved Boombozz, so I wanted to check out their new location on Hurstbourne - it's where b.d.'s Mongolian Grill used to be. I love that more local restaurants are spreading to other parts of Louisville. The food is always delicious. I had the Greek salad and shared the loaded potato nachos w/chicken (always a crowd favorite). My one complaint about our experience was that our server reeked of cigarette smoke. I don't mind if you need to smoke, but it's an appetite killer if all you smell is smoke when you're trying to order. Other than that, it was great and I think this location will do great!

Fantastic beer selection, with both local brews and your typical, every day bar beers! Try the sampler, if you can't choose just one, to drink! Great service and even better pizza! I had the Chicken Artichoke pizza and it was worth every penny! I will definitely be coming back!

First time at BoomBozz....definitely will go back. Good beers, pizza very good (try the chicken fajita pizza), and our waiter (Adam) was great given size of our party. May head back this afternoon for more beer and a sandwich!

Fabulous service from Ben. The busboy who filled our drinks and cleared our dishes was good too. Just the right amount of attention from both. Good pizza. I tried the BBQ brisket. Thanks Ben for the suggestion of a special that was only found at this location. Nice atmosphere also. I look forward to my next visit.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
