Review from my 11 year old son: I really like Roosters! all the kids menu items are great, and if I don't have my phone or anything like that, for fun I just guess what some of the keno lottery numbers for fun (without actually playing the lottery but it is still decently entertaining!) and if I could, I would rate it 4 and a half stars! It's not the best food possible, but it's close! ( VERY CLOSE) He orders the kids mac'n'cheese bites w applesauce and curly fries.

This is a great place for a decent lunch. The food isn't going to win any awards but the atmosphere and the staff make up for the fact that the food is kind of forgettable. I like a place I can go with my friends, or coworkers, or my kids. There aren't a lot of choices for people who aren't avowed carnivores.

Hands down it is waaaayyyyyyy better then hooters. My family and I come here a lot and the serve is always good and super friendly. Plenty of room to eat outside as well as inside. Everything I have had here is great :)

Well the service was a bit slow, but the food was about what you expect from a sports bar, but nothing more. The beer was cold and the food hot. For me the beer is always better when its cold and I tend to like a place a little more when there is cold beer on tap.

Nice atmosphere; sports bar but also large restaurant area; felt very comfortable for families and in fact there were several there. Boneless wings with medium hot buffalo sauce were greasy, but in a good way, with just the right amount of spice. I should have ordered 5 instead of 10 since they were big and very rich! Service was excellent. Good beer selection, not extensive but a few different things on tap and by the bottle.

My favorite place to eat on Fridays. Quick, easy, lots of options and great service, if you sit with Candis M. The fried pickles blow Hooters out of the water and the sweet tea is always well made.

We go here for lunch during work. I had already been to the one in Lexington so I knew they had a Gluten free menu. When I asked the waitress for it she was unsure but did the right thing by asking the manager who in turn did his research to find it. GOOD JOB on that! Food is ok, decent priced. If you are gluten free you can get naked wings-ask to have them cooked extra crisp and extra sauce on the side, they can be bland. Service is efficient and friendly. My coworkers get either salads or the italian sub, which they really enjoy.

Fish and chips rocks! Oh my, oh my! Clean, hot, perfect breading. Crispy goodness and the fish was cooked to perfection all the way to the tips. Service was fast and attentive without being hovering or bothersome. Huge crowd in here and there was no lapse in service. They appear to have a decent bar. I have removed one star because one entree does not a review make. I'll come back to taste the wings and onion petals!

Food was good, but I will drive an extra 5/10 miles to go to the one on Preston highway from now on. Waitresses were mainly white trash, but what more can you expect from that area. One waitress was really rude. (Yes, we had more than one).

I have personally had everything on the menu. From salad to homemade chili to chicken fingers and hamburgers. Everything is delicious and the casual atmosphere will have you coming back for more. Look for me at this location. I frequent it a lot!

Rooster's is a good sports bar with great wings. I travel to Louisville often, this particular time I went with a coworker who recommended Rooster's. The atmosphere is what you'd expect a sports to be. They have standard domestic draft beer on tap, and a Rooster's brew that I tried that was decent (tastes similar to blue moon). We ordered fried pickles, The Rooster Burrito, and 12 Carolina Gold bonless wings. All the food arrived in a very timely manner and our waitress was attentive. The fried pickles were about on par with Hooter's and were good. The burrito, though a little heavy on the quaso, had Rooster's chili and chicken in it and was very good. However, the wings were the best item we had. The wings were big and meaty and the Carolina gold complemented them well. If you are looking for a decent inexpensive sports bar I recomend this Rooster's.

Rooster's is the mecca of fried food goodness! Great food & great service! The menu has something for everyone - wings, chicken fingers, pizza, grilled chicken, burgers - everything! $.49 wings on Tuesdays! This location on Dixie has a great outdoor seating area with it's own bar! Woo! I've also had wings catered from this Roosters for a birthday party. Not only were they delicious, but very reasonably priced!

Plump wings, however, they're so heavily breaded, they hold the oil and fat more than what one would normally expect in a wing. The Chipotle sauce was heavy on the citrus and a bit too sweet. The Garlic wings were practically unpalatable as they burst open with oil on the initial bite.....every one of them. The Super Killer wings lacked heat for being the hottest on their menu. Also, this sauce had a paste-like powdery texture. However, the celery and blue cheese was good. I guess one cannot screw up celery. This was my first and last visit. P.S. I do have to compliment the service. They are very friendly. I would have given this place 1 star had it not been for the great service.

The "Greek Salad" on their menu is my favorite salad. Ever. I previously compared it to the unlimited salad at Olive Garden. I have eaten both recently and, while the Olive Garden salad is very good, the Greek Salad at Roosters is way, way better. Way. Still, my favorite meal is this salad and a half-order of charbroiled or grilled chicken strips. It's the perfect amount... just enough... but I don't leave miserably stuffed. Sports fan? I'm not, but if you are, I think they recently added even more TVs. There's a flat-panel every few feet and ever angle. No matter where you sit, you'll hardly have to turn your neck (if at all) to have a great TV view.

Wings are huge and most of the time are good. I've had the Donky wings and they are not as hot as I expected. I did have an issue with my debit card after using it to pay here once so I only pay with cash now. The servers are always friendly and I have never had bad service.

Roosters is awesome! Great wings, pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. It has a great outdoor patio, one of the best on the south side. Game days are really crowded but there are TVs all over, so you will not miss a sec of the game.
