Great little spot in my hometown! It's and old drug store and hasp ads of character. Staff was friendly and nice. They have a lunch menu and an after 5 menu. I tried try bigger salad with chicken. It was plentiful and good. My daughter wanted a chocolate shake which I ended up finishing. It was rich and delicious. You have so many ice cream options, floats, fudge to choose from. They also have a bar area and often have musicians playing as well.

This is an absolutely fabulous restaurant. The atmosphere is incredible. It is an authentic pharmacy and soda fountain right out of the 40's. The food is divine. The sandwiches are all served on home made bread with generous fillings and the home made soup is outstanding. If you are within 50 miles of this restaurant, you must make the effort to go and try it.

Rather charming downtown restaurant with live entertainment on the weekend (which can be a little loud for conversation). Creatively prepared sandwiches and salads, nice selection of ice cream and fudge, fast, friendly service.

The people of Harrodsburg are lucky to have the gem... I think that they know that. As I walked in on a Saturday evening, I had to wait in the line along the counter. A local, in his law enforcement uniform chatted and gave me his recommendation and said that the cornbread was a must try. I loved the locals, he wasn't the only one chatting, we had nothing better to do as we waited in line anyway. This place has an old time candy shop feel. Jars of candy and vintage decor line the walls. It was apparently updated and even though it had the vintage feel, it was clean and the tables were painted a sleek black too. I loved it! I had already scoped out the menu and decided on a salad before I got there, but as I waited inline, in front of the extensive menu board, I was almost tempted to stray from my salad, but I stuck to my plan. I'm glad Ithat I did because the Bigger salad was delicious. My only quarrel was that the dressing came in a packet and that didn't seem to match the classiness. Yep, I'm the girl who orders a salad a place with fudge in it's name. Once a month, weather permitting, downtown Harrodsburg hosts a car show... if you're interested and this spot is a must try.

You simply must go. Good food. Great service. All around excellent experience. Owner Tim is a reminder good people still exist today. Thank you for the great southern hospitality!

Awesome food! This place is worth the trip to Harrodsburg alone! Not only was our lunch top-notch, the ice cream was dreamy too. As soon as you walk in the door, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Live music was playing in their dining room, but we chose to stay in the historical drugstore to eat. It was fun looking at all the displays of artifacts from cigars to RX bottles and drug store candy. Their restrooms were very clean as well. I Will definitely go back and tell my friends.

I have been trying to eat here for years now and something always got in the way (closed for renovations, closed for a holiday, only open certain hours, etc.). Friday night, I finally got my chance and it was GREAT! The building was home to Dedman's Drugstore and the medicinal cabinetry and cases are all still inside and they are in beautiful condition. You really feel like you have stepped back in time when you walk through the door and you can browse through the old bottles and knick knacks in the cabinets as you wait to order or wait for your food. We ordered at the counter but sat over in the expanded dining room. There were instruments set up at the front but no live music the night we were there. I asked the young lady who took my order what she recommended and the Roast Beef Sliders were one of her picks. There were 3 of them and they were served with cheese, onions, and a horseradish sauce on these really nice textured and flavored onion rolls. They don't come with a side, but I added a side of coleslaw. I didn't really have room for dessert, but it seemed wrong to go to a place called the KY Fudge Company and not eat something sweet, so I got a single scoop of strawberry ice cream. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have homemade ice cream (which is understandable given all of the other baked goods and homemade items), but they had Blue Bell, which is always good. The single scoop was HUGE and I couldn't eat it all. Good food, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere! I grew up in Harrodsburg and I really wish the Fudge Company had been there when I lived there as I would have been a regular.

KFC is located inside a beautiful restored building that housed an apothecary, circa 1865 and has the feel of an old time soda shop, but is much more. While waiting to place my order, I notcied everyone seemed to have opted for the daily special -- a cup of soup and half deli sandwich for $4.99. I selected the tomato soup and the chicken salad sandwich, both very good. The soup, however, stole the show. Creamy and full of flavor, I could have gone for another whole bowl. It's served daily, along with an additional soup of the day.. Drinks are self-serve and bottom-less. If you're up for dessert, there's ice cream, hand-made ice cream sandwiches, and a selection of floats and ice cream sodas. There's an "after 5PM" menu posted with some interesting options, most around $10.00. If you find yourself in Harrodsburg, and in need of lunch, don't hesitate.

Love this place. I've been several times and I love the atmosphere. It doesn't get much cooler than good food in an old apothecary. I've had the fudge, several sandwiches, and some dessert and have never been disappointed.

A really neat restaurant, that's in an old drug store of years past. I don't have a chance to go here often, but when I do, I love it. The food is great, the ice cream is incredible, and the setting in downtown Harrodsburg is perfect. I'd highly recommend to someone looking for something a little bit different.

The whole set up is spectacular. After our sandwiches, my daughter ordered a banana split and it was huge. This place is highly recommended.
