Healthy Meal suggestions for Noodles & Company

Great customer service, both my wife and I sent emails to company, never got a response. Didn't write to get anything but maybe an apology, but no response at all. We were just not going to go back to that location, now we just won't go to any, pathetic. I would think a company would be a little more concerned when an employee calls a customer a liar, and manager just laughs in there face.

I gotta be honest, there is a distinct possibility, based on other Yelp! reviews, that I may have ordered wrong. That being said, what I had was not very good. I ordered the Japanese noodles with steak. The overall flavor was ho-hum at best, and the meat was low quality & totally killed (over cooked). The place gave off the stink of a restaurant on its way down until a decent lunch crowd showed up (around 11:45). The soda machine is neat BUT because it is a "one-hitter" there is routinely a line in the middle if the restaurant. Service staff was nice. I doubt I can bring myself to trying this place again, I dunno. I think if I do, I'd try the chicken noodle soup that got decent reviews. Overall, a really big "meh, I've had better"

Stopped by for lunch. I love, love, love N&C. Today I went more traditional with Spaghetti & Meatballs with a side tomato cucumber salad. Apparently they switched order #9 with my order #6. So I got a small spaghetti with tomato bisque. The manager had delivered it so I told him I think I got someone else's order. He checked it and made it right. Later he stopped by and gave me a big wedge of Rice Krispie Treat and a coupon for a free bowl. I didn't expect that and was pleasantly surprised.

LOVE PASTA!!! My sister has eaten here(Noodle and Company), not this one but in Wisconsin. She told me this was a great place to eat lunch for a reasonable price. So we decided go here. She order the spicy chicken Pad Thai, she asked for xtra pricey...boy did she get spicy. It was too hot for her. I tried a little. I could not eat too much. I order the beef and noodle. Mine was great. I liked mine so much I ordered the pork and thick noodles to go. As soon as I got home, I inhaled it. I will be coming here more often.

Clean and tidy. Good food. Lost a star for being a little overpriced.

This is a chain restaurant. The food is good quality, and the flavors are decent. There just isn't anything that special on the menu to make me want to return. The spicy dishes are good; I think I had some kind of Thai pasta. Another time I was in the mood for something plain. I got the buttered noodles, but they tried to make them too fancy by adding some kind of spice to them.

It was a clear spring day. The air smelled of springtime and scorched earth. I had some time to kill and an itch deep inside me that could only be scratched by noodles. The remedy for the itch ended up being the Spicy Thai Peanut Noodles with Sriracha and Cherry Coke. I enjoyed the meal the way a gunslinger enjoys a shot of whiskey before his battle at high noon. Good times.

In my journey to try soups from all around town, I try their Chicken Noodle Soup. It was absolutely delicious! It was pleasing to the eye too. The employees were very friendly. They are quick in delivery to the table. And one little cool item they have at the drink station - Chopstick helpers for those of us who need a little help. I didn't use them with my soup but next time, oh yeah, there will be a next time, I'll get something that needs picked up with sticks.

I don't typically love chain restaurants, they rarely even make it on my horizon, so imagine my surprise when my mom suggested we "try" Noodles and Company and I enjoyed it (because, let's be honest, in the food wasteland that is Florence, Kentucky, there is absolutely nothing that I want to eat other than Thai now and again). Since our initial visit, we've been several times--especially when it's getting towards 8:00 and the search for food becomes desperate. Last night, we ended up there after a preschool orientation and I had the "med sandwich" and a cup of soup. Excellent. Soup could have been warmer (because it had just turned freezing cold again) but the Med sandwich was so good, I could have eaten another whole one. My little one enjoyed her mac and cheese and my mom loved her ceasar and bowl of Tomato bisque immensely. The music is great, the space age Coke machine is crazy fun (and so is watching people try to figure it out). They use quality ingredients, they have wine/beer and a host of other fun extras like Cape Cod juices that are affordably priced and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Happy to have at least ONE option besides pizza and Thai food!

I'm giving it 4 stars simply because the food is fresh and it tastes pretty darn good. It isn't some sort of upscale experience BUT it is simply tasty. I normally try the pesto with double-shrimp and I swear I stuff myself but enjoy every bite. The salads are again, fresh and tasty. The soups are amazingly flavorful and my ex just loves them. They do serve beer and wine which always strikes me as odd for a place that is more of a semi-fast food joint but then again a glass of wine would probably go quite well with some of their dishes. It is fairly priced. The food comes out to you pretty quickly even when they are crowded and the flavors are normally great. IF you're in the area looking for a quick lunch or dinner give em a shot.

Mac n cheese with meatballs. Heck yes! I love the atmosphere, the food is amazing, and the large portions mean I get 2 meals out of my order.

Honestly, I like the food a lot. I don't love it, but for a chain restaurant the pad thai, soups, and other dishes are a great bang for your buck. What I dislike about this particular location is that it always, always smells! I've been to other Noodles & Co. locations that do not have this issue, so it's definitely not the food that smells. My coworkers and I, after eating here about 3 times since it opened, are convinced that it's a sewer or mop water sort of smell. It is so incredibly off-putting! After the third time going, I have no intentions of coming back to the Florence location unless they fix this issue (which we have brought up to employees there). } 4 stars for food } 1 star for the establishment } Rounding the average down because the location near the Kenwood Mall is much better.

Love it. For the most part, pick a bowl size, pick a style, and pick a meat (or no meat). Of all the hybrid restaurants that fit into this "fast casual" category, this is my fav. The food is great! I am new to NAC. I do not have one in my hometown. My first experience was a year ago in another city. I purposely looked for a NAC location where I could stop for lunch when passing through Florence. I found the service at this location to be very nice. The decor of the dining area fell somewhere between that of a fast food joint and a finer, table-service restaurant. Which, that is what one would expect at a "fast-casual" restaurant. In addition, the prices fall somewhere between as well.

I love this place! The food has always been great- my favorites are the Mediterranean options, although the asian potstickers are delicious as well! The portion sizes are perfect- I usually get the "small" portions and split an appetizer with someone. The food is clean and healthy for the most part- which is something I highly value when choosing places to eat. They also have a great drink selection; not only do they have a fancy soda machine that makes several fruit-flavored drinks, but they have bottled arizona tea's, Izze drinks and several beer selections. Definitely one of my top 5 places to eat in the area.

I really like this chain (and particular location). It's clean, the employees are pleasant, there are lots of choices and I feel like it's healthier than alot of options (not verified that yet). In addition to Cynthia's tip on signing up for Noodlegrams, you might also want to drop your business card in their bucket when you're there. My co-workers and I have been extremely fortunate to have received free meals for 4 on more than one occasion!

I always get the same dish - penne rosa with a double helping of grilled chicken, and I always eat every last bite. They have a cool drink dispenser like a giant I-phone. I always say that place should do awesome. I am always happy.

This place is really good. I think that due to the name, they don't get as much business as they deserve. They do alright business, but I think more people would try them if they were named something else. I tried them because I worked at Citi which is right down the street, and they offered a Citi employee day where we got free food. I ordered a trio, where you can choose what time of dish you want, add meat, and pick a soup and it's like 7.50. The chicken noodle soup is some of the best I've ever tasted. Every meal I've tried is good. They have a lot of different options. One thing I really like about them is that they send you coupons for free meals on your birthday, and they have different occasions where you can bring things in and swap for free food. Once you could bring in either peanut butter or jelly and get a free meal, and they donated the peanut butter and jelly to local food banks. They also did something after Halloween where kids could bring in some candy and exchange it for free food. Also, the service is fast. You can't really go wrong with this place.

3 things I really like: 1) Go on their website and sign up for 'Noodlegrams.' They email you a buy 1 get 1 free entree coupon just for signing up, and you get another free entree on your birthday. 2) It's one of those Starbucks-like places that take your name when you place your to-go order and calls it out when your food is ready. I like the personal touch :) 3) The food.

This is my first visit to Noodles and Company for lunch. I asked the front guy what their hottest dish was on the menu, which is the Indonesian peanut saute with chicken. It came with some type of raw crisp bean sprout on top, sauteed onions, lightly breaded chicken, and seasoned noodles. It was hot, but not hot enough; I chose to put some Sriracha sauce on it, which definitely helped out the hotness factor. I was really satisfied with the tasted and quality of the food considering I was pressed for time. The dish was reasonably priced, and the employees were friendly. I'll be back!

I've updated this a bit. The pricing on the Stroganoff was a misunderstanding that they have apologized for and corrected. Still kind of upset that it has to be ordered off the menu since they include steak by default.

I read the reviews so I decided to walk over. It was well worth the walk. The food was great at a moderate price. I tried the Chicken Pad Thai. There was a good amount of chicken included. I will be back.

Went as a first timer. The front end guy was very nice and made some great recommendations, all with a reason for their popularity or success. I went with the Pasta Fresca with chicken to go. My order was ready quickly and cooked to perfection. My meal was excellent, better than I had expected and full of flavor. I will definitely be going back soon.

I love this place. If you like pastas and soups, this is the better version of Panera Bread. You get more for your money and they have great variety. The food always comes out quick and perfect every time.

My girlfriend and i are vegetarians, so we always order tofu for our protein. The food is great and the service is always amazing. Tonight, though, somehow we wound up with one of our orders containing some tofu but mostly beef! I called and Assistant Manager Jeff M. was really nice and had a new order for us plus a coupon for free food. As always, the staff were wonderful, the food was great in the end, and we were utterly satisfied.

I have never heard of this chain before and ate here by "accident". We are vegans and intended to eat at Chili's nearby where the wait was to be an hour. What a pleasant surprise at Noodles and Co., food was excellent and it was inexpensive. Our daughter is not an vegan and she enjoyed her meal too. This is a casual inexpensive restaurant with healthy good-tasting food. Wish they have one in Central Pennsylvania.

Noodles and Company is excellent! The food here is fantastic! I went here with my parents and older sister and I had the whole grain tuscan linguine with parmesan crusted chicken and it's just about the best thing I've ever ate! The waitstaff is friendly, funny, and very helpful! They have great salads and noodles from Asia, Mediterranean, and America! Strongly recommended! Two thumbs up!

Good restaurant that bases most of the meals on just noodles. Noodles with grilled chicken and chicken noodle soup were great. Thought it was something to do with Japanese, but Americanized noodle dishes taste so great.

A chain that is a nice change from the usual. The soups are good as are the entrees. Can be a little pricy as they upcharge the proteins. Great options for vegetarians.

Food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. It wasn't the best but better than a typical drive thru. Food had good flavor and there was a fairly good selection.

To start, my boyfriend and I frequent Noodles & Company at least twice a month and have done so for the past three years. It goes without saying that we have returned on so many occasions because the quality of the food is magnificent. This restaurant is not full service, which grants it the ability to exhibit a more relaxed and comforting atmosphere. Noodles & Company does an exceptionally well job of portraying the ideal diner for a work-related meet or a family night out; it is able to meet the expectations of both scenarios. However, I feel that it either does not receive the business it deserves or that it is overall underestimated. I think this is the result from lack of marketing and advertisement. Aside from that, my boyfriend and I not only return for the delicious entrees and sides they offer, but also because of the warm and friendly customer service. The service they provide is well beyond what is to be expected from your average customer service representative. The employees have gone out of their ways to show interest in our lives and to treat us like friends rather than simply customers. Two of those representatives (only first names were given) especially deserve recognition for their entirely accommodating and thoughtful services: Sarah and Santiago. Of course, we will continue to visit Noodles & Company for as long as the food and service remain this entirely satisfying.

I am late to the game, this being my first visit to Noodles & Co. However, I was pleasantly surprised at everything about this place. I asked for a recommendation and both the associate who was waiting on me and another behind the counter asked me about my preferences and they finally suggested the Penne Rosa. It was a great pick and I was very happy with the taste, the size, and the price. If I'm in the area I'd stop again, but what really made this great was the service from the 2 that helped me.

This is one of my go-to chain fast food restaurants! I have been to several locations and went to the Florence one this past Saturday. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak for something new. I usually get the pasta or the med sandwich. The Philly was definitely not your authentic style but delicious! It was a decent size for the price and also came with a side salad. The steak was cooked well and not dry, topped with cheese, mushrooms, red peppers, and onion. The bread was chewy and crunchy--just the way I like it. We ate outside on the patio since we had our dog with us traveling out of town. One of the servers came out and asked if we would like a bowl of water. He was so nice to bring some water for our dog on the patio! Overall, nice experience.

I did not come in with high expectations. Ordered a chicken noodle soup and pan fries noodles. To my surprise the chicken noodle soup was amazing!! It was flavorful and tasty. The noodles weren't bad either. I read in a previous review that the portion was very small. My plate of noodles was very full, maybe the chef was feeling generous. But not small by any means and I do love to eat :)

Portions are getting small compared to what they used to be ! Small could of been enough for a small child ! We are going to stop somewhere to get food on our way home ! Hope they go back to what they used to be ! Ran out of things I tried to order ! And portion could fit in a 8 ounce cup with room left over !

Great place, great service. My 6 year old always wants just plain spaghetti noodles with parmesan and even though they have sent out the wrong noodles numerous times they are very good about fixing it. They have a really nice staff and they are never super busy for a quick dinner on the weeknights. Update: Their new drink machine is awesome! I can't even count how many different drink combos you can get, and plenty of diet/flavored combos.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
