Being a near-Wisconsin native, I've been going to Culver's for a number of years, and this one is no different. For fast food, this is it. Great burgers and good fries, but I usually stick to my regular order, which is a pork tenderloin sandwich(mustard/pickles), cheese curds, and a Culver's root beer(which is outstanding).

Brought to you by Lipitor! They're bi line should be "deep fried". Decent value for the dollar but doesn't seem to be getting the traction here as it does further west. I have no recommendations. And I have no "bewares".

Went to dinner with the wife last evening (Monday) at 5:30. If you haven't been to a Culvers you order at a counter like most fast food places and then take a number to your seat and the food is delivered. You get your own soft drinks at the fountain stand which I prefer since it allows you to regulate your ice-drink ratio. This night they had one register opened up front and the drive thru was also open. Unfortunately we were behind a mother with four kids who could not be talked to without her yelling at them. It took forever to get their order straight especially when they wanted to use multiple coupons. We then had to wait more as the elderly couple in front of us had no idea what they wanted even after standing in line for what seemed like fifteen minutes. The odd part is they had two people working this one register, I think the young guy actually working the register may have been in training. He finally took our order and was courteous and friendly. We also used a coupon for a buy one get one free burger and he rung us up without a problem. We took our cups and number, got our drinks and it was just a couple of minutes for our dinner to be delivered. Both burgers were hot and delicious, though they were a little heavy handed on the mayo, something to remember for next time. The burgers were moist and tasty, slightly greasy but no so much that they were slimey. I had fries and the wife had onion rings, both cooked perfectly. With the coupon the price was good for what we had and we will definitely go again in the future. I just wish they had at least two registers open for instances like this last night.

This is nearly four stars but I give it 3 because some of the items will leave you disappointed. The Milwaukee Swiss sandwich for instance is not good. The burgers are all good though and I really like the custard. I also like that I can get my son a kid's meal and it covers desert but with the coupon for desert it makes it clear that it's not a guarantee for him.

Ate there last night and the crew is all new and not freindly. No greeting when going in or out. Manager was sitting at a booth all slouched down and on his phone and didn't say a word to us. I told my husband he won't last long. We eat here often. Maybe will stay away for awhile. Things have changed and not for the best. 5/4/15.

Once we ordered, we were actually charged almost 20$ more than supposed to. The manager refunded my money, but wasn't apologetic at all. Then, my food came and it was wrong. After waiting another 15 minutes for the RIGHT food, I finally ate, and it was good. All in all, food is good, service, however, is awful

We love Culver's. It is a great family restaurant which you can eat at reasonably. All the staff are always smiling and have great manners. They are also a good community partner with schools and other organizations. They will accept multiple coupons on an order and if you belong to St. Timothy Church in Union, you can get a 10% VIP discount when you show the bulletin. Make sure you check your receipt for a survey opportunity for a free future scoop of frozen custard. Each kids meal comes with a coupon for a free scoop of custard and a Scoopie token. Accumulate 10 Scoopie tokens for a free kids meal. Also, make sure you sign up for the text & email clubs and download the app. Many ways to save here. We visit a couple of times a month. They have caffeine free Diet Pepsi which is an added bonus for me!

As usual the food we got was good but the overly expensive cup of soup and side of cole slaw were both only half full. They must also have a shortage of crackers because it was like pulling teeth to get more than two.

Stopped into the Florence (Y'all!) Culvers on the way hope for the Holidays. Its a newer Culvers, so the interior is quite nice. Complete with Televisions and a somewhat private dining area. Had the usual Butterburger and Cheese curds and was not disappointed. I may or may not have had a Turtle Sundae for dessert. Only my waistline knows for sure.

Their food is what you would expect from a fast food joint, mediocre at best and most of the time just kind of blah. So you must be wondering why the 4 star rating? Frozen custard. Yes, that alone is enough to elicit a good rating in my book. They have vanilla and chocolate frozen custard as well as a "flavor of the day". The flavor is actually a sundae like, vanilla with peanuts, waffle cone pieces and chocolate syrup. So they have scoops, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and concrete mixers (thick milkshakes with toppings). They have a ton of different toppings that you can mix in with the vanilla and chocolate. So yeah, it's pretty delicious. I would recommend going there the next time you're in Florence and want a tasty treat.

The food is delicious, great variety, good prices. Kid friendly, and kids meals come with a voucher for that trip or another one for a one topping sundae. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE. I have had the butter burger, french fries (CRINKLE CUT!!!), sundaes, and mixers. All are amazing. The service is friendly and fast, the restaurant is always clean. Try the cheese curds, just so delicious. Like mozzerella cheese sticks but smaller.

I have no complaints about Culvers. The food is great, the service is wonderful! Concrete mixers, butter burgers, and their own root beer. And some of the best onion rings around. Yum Yum!

If fast food burgers/ chicken sandwiches and fries followed by ice cream is your thing, and a Wendy's Frosty just doesn't quite cut the ice cream portion for you, go find a Culvers, I think you'll like it. Good service, clean, consistant good quality make Culvers a solid 3 stars.

I'll have to split my rating for Culver's -- FIVE stars for their frozen custard, ONE star for their batter-dipped cod. I have heard rave reviews about Culver's for years but I had no idea where to find the store that's somewhere north of Cincinnati. When I happened by their new restaurant in Florence, I was thrilled. My husband and I stopped in immediately and ordered a two-dip Turtle Sundae to share. It was the BOMB! Absolute heaven. We made plans to come back for dinner ASAP. On our second trip -- too bad. The batter-dipped fried Cod that they advertise so loudly on their signage was over battered and under cooked. The outside was crispy and tasted great, but all the uncooked batter inside made the fish watery and goopy. The cole slaw was very good, but the fish overshadowed that. I considered something else from the menu, but there's aren't really any tasty healthy alternatives. We will go back for another sundae, sometime. But we will eat dinner elsewhere

I didn't really know "what" a Culvers was...my Aunt in northern Illinois tells us that she takes her grandchildren there, but that she found it "pricey" for kids. So, I guess I thought it was a sit down restaurant. It looks like a sit down restaurant from the look of the building...turns out, you do it all yourself and THEN you sit down. They do bring you the order...but.... The menu is predictable, and well, it's just fast food, folks. And even if they butter their buns, it doesn't matter--Steak and Shake makes a far better burger and, um...they have wait staff.

My wife and I have enjoyed the Culvers in Mason for years. We tried the ence Florence location for the first time. The chain features a large line of dairy products, the food qualty is very good. The butter burgers and fish sandwichs are wonderfull, we always get the cheese curds (little crunchy cheese nuggets). There is a large selection of shakes and sundays for desert. The counter procedure is to order at the register and recieve a number, the food will be delivered to your table. They have a self-service beverage and condiments bar. The restaurants are always very clean and the staff is friendly.

I can just feel myself getting fat walking into Culvers. I mean, their menus is not very interesting if you are all about staying healthy and keeping things on the up and up. Of course, if you are in the mood for some greasy butter burgers, yes, I said butter burgers, and frozen custard (not ice cream), than this is the best you can get from a chain. The burgers are seriously tasty and I even noticed the service at this particular location, which was new to me, was pretty excellent as well. In addition to all the creamy, greasy goodness, Culvers has their very own brand of root beer that you have to try if you eat there. It's an underrated gem and I have friends that swear by it.

I first ate at a Culver's in Richmond, KY, and I liked the menu, service and food quality. I've only visited the Florence location once, but would go more often if it was a bit closer to my office. I think it's an upscale alternative to fast food, but still quick and fairly inexpensive. Portion sizes are generous, too,

We usually stay away from chain restaurants, but decided to give this one a try because we heard a lot of good things about this place. The menu offers all of the choices a fast food restaurant offers and then some. They are famous for their juicy butter burgers cooked your way (the buns are smothered with butter, then grilled) and rich and creamy frozen custard. They also have malts and shakes. You can also buy their custard by the pint or quart to go. The food in general is good but as mentioned in the description above, it is extremely unhealthy. If you add a frozen yogurt to the meal it can get pretty expensive for a fast food restaurant. You will get a double burger unless you tell them you want a single when ordering.
