Mom and Pop Mexican place in strip mall. Everything is fresh and homemade. Very tasty and friendly service. Enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and fajitas supreme.

I love their veggie taco! You can't beat 3 tacos for $6. Service is always great. They have a great lunch special too. I suggest the Mexican soda or coconut water!

I liked it as I was craving Mexican tacos. The wife was not such a big lover. She characterized it as a "dirty little room". Yeah atmosphere is lacking and yes cleanliness could've been better but this is a restaurant that you could stick directly somewhere in Mexico. Regardless the tacos were good and I had some horchata although I should've gotten some sort of Mexican refresco (probably toronja). The salsas roja and verde were both good. The beans were great the rice was average.

This place has very good quality Mexican food done very traditionally in a non-descript setting next to the lavanderia. I had a chicken taco and a pork taco with a side of frijoles. The chicken taco was good and the pork taco was awesome...delicious, savory and tender. It helps if you speak Spanish, but it's not necessary. When you want quick, inexpensive and superior quality food, this is your place.

Stopped by unplanned on a trip from my Aunt's house in Ohio and was pretty hungry because my aunt only eats organic. Such good food and such a deal. Very spicy and original flavors. I can never find goat tacos around this area and this place has great ones. The salsa is mouth watering. I had a huge lunch and the bill was under $10.

The sweet lady who works the counter speaks broken English, and this place is authentic. You can tell by the prices and the menu - it has goat on it! Being a fan of goat, I ordered that, the pork, and the carne asada. Man, that carne asada was great - my favorite in Cincy! And how have I gotten this far without mentioning that the tacos are only $2 each! Bottom Line: I will be back for a great carne asada taco at the lowest price in town.

You get what you a see. A hole in the wall taco joint. Cheap, tasty and with beer. For sure have the Taco al pastor or barbacco.

Fantastic authentic tacos. I had the Al Pastor, Carne Asada and Barbacoa and I was able to try a bite of my girlfriend's chorizo taco. I can't even say which one was best because they were all great. I need to go back to try the lengua taco. Everything being said, for two people I was able to get six delicious tacos and two beers for about $16. Will absolutely go back.

I love this place. Authentic Mexican food, not that crap they keep trying to push on you at the new white kid places. The tacos are amazing, the prices are cheap, and the people are polite. I eat here all of the time.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
