I have never been to a self serve frozen yogurt place before, but I really enjoyed my visit here. There are a lot of flavors to choose from and interesting toppings that I have never encountered before, including the flavor bubbles which has a surprising amount of flavor for being so small. Orange Leaf also participates in many local fundraisers so we've been lucky to have several coupons that we received from buying local discount cards which have made are trips here even better since we are getting a great deal on our purchases.

Good, fun, always crowded. And it's really e-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e! At 42-cents per ounce, if you were to buy the same amount as a standard size carton of Breyer's it'd be $23.52. Um... woah. Good luck getting out of there under $10 for two. That's a pretty steep cost for serving yourself some frozen treat. Amplified with the bucket-sized bowls they offer: Really Big, and Really, Really, Big. Other than the decent selection of yogurt flavors and toppings, there's nothing special about this chain. Well, maybe the little squishy fruit-filled tapicoca-ish balls they offer as a topping. Those are cool - but they don't even cut up the Reeses or other candy bars much - also forcing consumption. (1/4 of a Snicker's bar sized chunk ? I'd like them ground up a bit more, please. If I wanted a Snicker's I would have gone to the Kwik Shop. I want mini-bites I can sprinkle over my dessert.) Guess I'm just not all that wowed by overpriced frozen yogurt served in giant containers five-times the size of a normal serving. Sure, I can hear you out there saying you get to control the amount you put in the bowl... but really? What percentage of the population is truly going to do that? After all, it's "healthy" right? LOL. Betcha not if you looked at the nutritional info. And then did the math on the number of servings really being consumed and added in the toppings.... not really an improvement. Guess the value doesn't outweigh the cost for me here. There's this other place in town that offers some insanely good ice cream with some really good flavor combinations for the same price as you'd spend here, getting something really yummy and "cool". I probably won't go here too often but still, I can't deny it's tasty. :)

You know what makes any business welcoming? The staff. So when the employees are rude, it makes enjoying it not so great. Orange leaf has always been wonderful, I've always loved it. But tonight I went there and I could tell right away that the kids working were going to be rude, by the snotty looks on their faces when I walked in. After I paid and sat down, I noticed that the pineapple tasted horrible! And I mean HORRIBLE! It was so disgusting and sour. So I told one of the employees' that it tasted bad. He proceeded to not do anything with the pineapple. He left it and walked into the back room with the other girl working. Anyway, more customers came in and I noticed the pineapple had yet to be dumped, I went over and told the family that it tasted bad and that I wouldn't get it if i were them. Well, the girl came out of the back room and says "actually we checked it and it's fine.". Oh really? What happened to the customer is always right? So needless to say, instead of just changing out the pineapple and taking my word for it, they ignore me and continue to be snotty and rude. Let's just say I'm not going to the Orange leaf on Wanamaker any more if they hire such disrespectful people to work for them.

Great yogurt. We were visiting Topeka and was deightfully surprised that this yogurt was as good as the froyo back home. My only complaint was that the yogurt melted very quickly. We didnt even make it home before it was just ice milk.

What?!?!?!?!? A place on Wannamaker that's not a chain??? What the! I was in Topeka on a business trip and had just got done eating at Carino's that night when I craved some frozen yogurt. And from the corner of my eye I saw the Orange Leaf sign! It was seriously like an oasis in a dessert of chain restaurants. If you've been to Yogurtland or any of the many knock-offs, you can pretty much expect the same thing. They have a good range of flavors, from the sour to non-sour kinds. They even had poppin boba as a topping! Their orange spoons are pretty cute too. Only weird thing is that if you want a sample, the worker gets out from behind the counter and gets the sample in a little paper thing for you. I'm assuming they don't trust customers with getting samples themselves... I could see it causing major slowdowns when they get busy. Overall, the place is nice, clean, and perhaps the most modern looking place in Topeka.

As a seasoned frozen yogurt eater, I would say that this place ranks up there with some of the top yogurt places in the country. If you have never been to a frozen yogurt shop before, then there is a set procedure that you must follow. Kind of like visiting the soup nazi on Seinfeld. Step 1 - Grab a bowl. At the beginning of the line, there is a counter filled with empty paper bowls. All the bowls are the same size, so it makes it a bit easier Step 2 - Select your yogurt. They offer up to 16 different flavors of non-fat and low-fat yogurts. They have plain, fruit flavors like strawberry, orange, mango, pomegranate, and feature flavors like coffee, wedding cake, cheesecake, etc. You can select a single flavor or mix and match the flavors to your liking. Step 3 - Choose your toppings. This is where that healthy yogurt treat turns into a non-healthy dessert. They have lots of different toppings that you can put on your yogurt. There is fruit, cereal, candy, chocolate, granola, nuts, and a few other items. They also have syrups that you can pour on your yogurt to give it that little extra flavor Step 4 - Paying. As you walk up to the cashier, you place your bowl on the scale and based on the weight, your total for the yogurt is displayed. This is where most people get shocked as they realize just how expensive their treat is. Currently, the price is about 44 cents an ounce, but it is amazing just how quickly it adds up after you put all your toppings on. Step 5 - Enjoy. At last, you get to sit down and enjoy your treat !! I believe this is the only frozen yogurt place in Topeka, so it is nice to have the option of going for a frozen treat every once in a while. I ended up deducting a star because I feel for the location, they are a little too expensive. For a small town, they should be pricing themselves so that everybody will continue to go there, even after the novelty wears off.

It is a really fun place for teens to go hang out and all the bowls are the same size they measure it by weight. They have awesome toppings as well

This is a really cute do-it-yourself store. The review from Steve M. says it all. All the flavors Ive tried so far have been wonderful. My favorite is the wedding cake yogurt with strawberries. YUM!

Yummy, but the toppings are very limited compared to other self-serve yogurt places I've been to elsewhere.
