4/2/15 update: Ok, I said if I came back with the buffet being fresh, then I'd update my review. Well, I just stopped in for lunch 10mins after they opened. Wow! Everything was SO fresh, looked amazing, tasty! So just make sure you come around when lunch or dinner times start so you can get really fresh food! That jalapeño chicken fresh was so good!

Cheap chinese food. Food quality was low. ok place for children. They have ice cream cups for dessert but most of them were expired and icey! Was not worth it for me. Owners are nice people. I wish them luck.

Nothing expertly fashioned here. Restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. The food is barely mediocre some of it had been sitting out a while and dried from the heat lamp. Brought to their attention that the chicken wings were not cooked all the way through pink in the middle they argued that the chicken was okay. After barely making it home getting rid of everything I had eaten I started to feel much better. I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone. There are much better places for Chinese food in Topeka

AWESOME BUFFET. Love the Jalapeno Chicken. I really like this place. My wife fondly refers to this place as, "Golden Vomit". The story behind that is us going there when she was pregnant with our first baby, eating there and then having Barf-fest 2008 in the parking lot... ever since then it has been put on "the list".

This is the best Chinese place in Topeka that I have found. We drive from across town past several other place! The buffet is a little pricey, but worth it. Plus being near the Capital will raise the prices a little. Very friendly service also

The food is gross. For the first time in my life I went to Subway afterwards to cleanse my palate. The place was clean, the server was friendly, and the coke was good: hence the two stars.

The food is good, but please remove the dirty fuzzy Christmas Garland and clean the vents.

I can't attest to dining in, but we got drive through and the service was prompt and friendly. We tried the jalapeño chicken and it was yummy!! We also had the crab Rangoon--they were huge and had a TON of filling. Definitely my new go-to for Chinese takeout cravings.

Well, I did not want to give any stars because I don't know how it is but reason for 1 star because on their MORE INFO its says this restaurant DELIVERS but they don't .

Perfect Chinese buffet at low prices... this is the place which can satisfy people who expect a Chinese food with both sweet and spicy kind of food... staff are pretty welcoming, not a wide variety of items. Butter potato, jalapeño chicken and fried chicken were best of the day... fried rice can be done much better... loved my dinner...

You cant beat the shrimp fried rice and crab rangoon. Make sure to get a side of the housemade spicy mustard!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
