The food is great! Always taste amazing. The service is usually pretty good. People are friendly, they give you extra when asked and don't charge you for it! There are a couple emotes who give you attitude if they mess up your bowl when you order it to go. I have found that when we order to go they usually mess up at least one bowl. Overall though, one of my favorite restaurants.

Is it just me or does Chipotle not taste as great now that McDonald's doesn't own it? Meh... Either way, I went in to this particular location the other day, it was my first time setting foot in a Chipotle in over a year so I was pretty stoked, thinking of what I was going to get while standing in line. It took about five minutes for the one guy who was working in the line to get to me and my order - While his coworkers stood back in the kitchen area, slacking and gossiping about who-knows-what. I got my stuff to go, waited for another employee to waddle her ass to the register and she just asked if I needed a drink to go as well. I said yes, she rang me up and flipped my cup into the bag off of the counter. Little did that snatch know, I really wanted some chips and pico but whatever, apparently my order had been decided and I was not worthy of being handed my empty cup. I probably didn't need those extra carbs anyway but SERIOUSLY. Ask me next time. It's your job.

Chipotle food is the same everywhere, so this review is on the location and the service. First of all, I really do not like Topeka, so I am always less than thrilled when work takes me there. It is also not easy to find a spot for 40 high school kids to get something to eat without causing problems with the crowd. When we saw Chipotle in this strip mall area, we were a little excited. We unloaded the bus and got in a medium-sized line to make it really, really out-the-door long. It still only took us about 20 minutes to get everyone through and eating! Workers were so friendly, and we didn't get the attitude we usually get when we stop at the I-70 fast food places on this trip. It was a nice switch from the fast food burgers we usually have to get. From appearances, I would say the locals enjoy coming here as well, as it was crowded even before our bus stopped in. This one is pretty big, and the design is open. We are putting this on our "eat" agenda next time we are in Topeka.

Always tasty but.... The atmosphere here drives me nuts. The chairs are seriously uncomfortable and the music is WAY TOO LOUD!!! Guess they need it that loud to drown out the kitchen noise. I wish there was on closer so we could get it home before it got cold.

Chipotle is one of my favorite places to eat. If you've never been there, its a fast-food burrito place. The main item they sell is burritos. You can get them with chicken, beef, pork, barbacoa, or guacamole. There's two kinds of beans, black beans and pinto beans. The black beans have no meat in them. If you don't want beans, there's peppers and onions. For shells, you have flour tortilla, hard shells, or no shell if that's your way. Then you finish off with toppings of salsas, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. You also get lots of rice too. Flavor on them is great. Price isn't bad at $8. I've been to several different Chipotle and found them all the same in quality. Main difference between different stores is the wait time (one I went to at 3pm had a wait of 30 min, and the line was moving the whole time). Sometimes simplicity is the best way to do it. My personal favorite is the chicken burrito with black beans. Beef burrito is great too. Oddly enough, I've never tried the carnitas burrito though.

The Chipotle in Topeka, KS is becoming a disappointing place to go. The veggies are now always burnt, so are the chicken and steak. Compared with other Chipotles in the area, Topeka's Chipotle gives about 30% less meat in general. Needs quality improvement.

I pick up food to-go here often, usually a couple times a week. Overall, me and my spouse like the variety of burrito fillings and how you can personalize for a few different dietary restrictions. I think for the six bucks and odd change you get a pretty decent meal. The reason I give Chipotle only three stars is because first off, the seating/dining area is shitty! The chairs are uncomfortable, the tables are often dirty and it is loud and irritating to sit in there while trying to have a conversation. Second, I feel as if the ingredients are not always cooked as well as they could be. For example, sometimes the chicken has lots of extra fat on it, or the beans are crunchy or there is some undercooked rice in the mix. Lastly, I hate how they charge $1.80 to add a little guacamole on your burrito! I started getting it on the side to make it more worth it. They give you a whole plastic cup full. I also get the sour cream on the side because they often dump so much on your burrito that it becomes just a sour cream burrito!

Ordered online. Was given a time frame of an hour for it to be ready. Went ahead & driver over. At the register I said my name then was told to "step back" quite rudely. I was shocked that he was so abrasive with me. They said I was gonna be after the others there. I asked about getting in line & they said it would be quicker. Order canceled, lesson learned. Avoid this place if you value customer service.

There was 5 people in front of me and it room 15 minutes to order. This is very unusual for a Chipotle. Aside from the long wait, it was a clean restaurant and good like usual.

This is the first time I am disappointed with chipotle in my 2 years of chipotle food... this store doesn't have lettuce at 9pm and everything was served in a little quantity and when we asked for additional quantity they talk about measurements and deny for more quantity...

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
