Being from San Francisco, my reviews might be biased but I will keep an open mind as to where I am. First off, ordered Beef fried rice, Mongolian beef and chicken lo mein. Everything is acceptable and the fried rice was actually good. Great service too...

I interrupted the cashiers evening when I pulled into the drive thru and she made sure I knew how annoyed she was. My passenger and I had a good LOL after she closed the takeout window. She didn't even take her headphones off when she took my order. We tried the General Tso's chicken and the sweet sour chicken, as well as the crab rangoon. The General Tso's tasted like a spicy version of the sweet sour and it was really mushy. Overall, I was not impressed. We're new to Kansas so our hunt for Chinese takeout that soothes our cravings continues...

I'm not sure what Yelp's conspiracy is with editing reviews, but here I go again. DO NOT BOTHER WITH CHINA EXPRESS. Previously I was a fan because the food was decent and cheap and fast. I could overlook the rude drive-thru cashier. Well after today, I'll never be eating here again. I had to wait 15 minutes at the drive-thru because after they took my order, they proceeded to serve all the customers inside instead of me. I got home and they'd given me the complete wrong order. I'd ordered chicken lo mein and a chicken egg roll and received shrimp lo mein and a crab rangoon. When I called, they said they'd exchange it for the correct order (DUH!). I got there and again, the drive-thru cashier showed her attitude when she DEIGNED to take my incorrect, uneaten meal. Between the long wait, wrong order and rude service, I will NOT be eating here ever again!

I'm not from Kansas, and this is the second Chinese place I've tried since I've been down here. It was pretty good. Spring rolls were a little off, dumplings were awfully doughy, but the service was friendly. I got the Chow Mein and egg drop soup, neither had much flavor, but the rice was pretty good.

I've eaten here before and liked it pretty good. Today however has changed my mind and made me give a 2 star review. The food is still ok, and is the only thing that is letting me give it 2 stars. My issue today was that we had delivery for the first time and the lady who delivered it was just rude. Apparently she called me to try to find my house (I didn't hear my phone), which I'm not sure why it would be difficult anyway, and she made she I knew that she had a hard time finding it. She told me that very rudely, handed me the bag of food, then walked off. So ya, that 30secs of time I spent with her has made me not want to go here again. Again though, the food was nothing special at all either. So take this guys advice and just go a few blocks east and go to Golden Dragon instead to get nice staff and good food!

Decent prices, decent food. That's about all you can expect from a chinese place that has a drive-thru!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
