Whoop. Whoop!!!!!! I love this place. It is too far from Lansing, Kansas to go all of the time. But it has superb food, the coldest draft beer I have ever tasted and the ladies? Wow!!!! Hooters needs to just shut their doors. No competition! Hope you guys build closer to Zona Rosa or out at the Legends in KCK. Thanks, Barry Lansing, KS

Don't usually put much stock in service, but this was horrible. Waitress asked me to go to her section because it was empty. I saw her two times after I got my food, once I asked for another beer, the second time I was done with my food and had not gotten a beer so I asked for my check. Venison chili burger was mediocre, fries were decent.

We occasionally visit here for the food surprisingly & not for the "view". I started with a man size Angry Orchard - so glad many places have it in tap now. As advertised it was cold & satisfying. I had the catfish/shrimp combo with Mac n cheese with some input from Kelsi our waitress. My 2 catfish fillets where fried in panko crumbs so they were hot, crispy & had a good flavor. This catfish would rank as one of my favorites because it has quite a bit a flavor so no sauce would be required to give it some taste. . I swore I ordered chicken blackened but receive the shrimp instead. Kelsi our waitress assured me I ordered shrimp. The shrimp was also hot and tasty. It was spicy & flavorful enough to eat without the sauce. The mac n cheese, once you stir it a bit is definitely cheesy and has a good flavor. I would give it 5 stars if I felt my order was taken down correctly.

Good food... Had the trout and it was very tasty. Cobb salad was said to be one of the best ever consumed. It was a big one too. Meatloaf was reported to be good as well. Large portions of tasty foods. Open late. Hooray! Nice waitress. A little slow on the initial acknowledge/getcha some drinkage phase.

TP is a regular spot for many reasons, few of which relate to the "theme." The food has always been excellent and consistent. Each time I've had fried pickles placed on the table they've been fresh from the fryer, seasoned well, crisp, and delish. Salads & burgers are top shelf. Mom's Pot Roast is better than mom's crock pot (sorry mom). Hear me people - the food is good. Sincerely and consistently GOOD. The beer is always cold. ALWAYS. If you are a beer snob like me you know the difference 10 degrees makes in a beer. When a man sized beer is placed before you at Twin Peaks it starts cold and stays cold. (Hint: Say "yes" to man-sized) Quality expectations met (and I'm a tough crowd). Now let's go above and beyond. I've always liked the service at this TP. I've never had a bad experience and more often than not I've been impressed (again - I'm a tough crowd). Given, these are attractive young ladies paid to give excellent service. They deliver. And then some. Today at lunch my companions and I encountered a young lady from Oklahoma named Beth. She not only gave us great service, she ENGAGED with us. She was witty, sassy, funny, real, and just flat out a joy. I've been served thousands of times, but only a few people stand out as giving me an experience (Zach Wagner - I'm talking about you). Beth was one of those people that makes you want to come back again (assuming they will set you in her section). Bravo Twin Peaks. Good food. Cold Beer. OUTSTANDING service. We'll be back soon. Very soon.

This was our first time eating here. Was greeted and seated quickly. My wife ordered the fried chicken and i ordered the trout and was very much satisfied. Our waitress was very attentive, and did a great job. I will definitely keep them in mind the next time I'm over that way.

My boyfriend and I used to go to the restaurant that was previously in this space (MBFGR), for the amazing lamb they had. The decor was tacky as hell, but their lamb with lemon mustard sauce totally made up for the atmosphere. We decided to stop in earlier this year, and saw a new restaurant had taken it's place. "Twin Peaks"...whaaaaat?!?!? Sadly, this place has nothing to do with my favorite childhood show. Another Hooters type place catering to the male gaze. What year is it, again? Gross dudes looking to ogle ladies, and women with more internalized misogyny than I can ever imagine. We didn't stay to eat (seriously, we were totally hoping for a Lynchian paradise, with some "damn fine" coffee and cherry pie, of course), but, I mean...why would we? Gross.

Only one good thing, the beer was cold, but the food and service was terrible....never again!

5 of us walked in for our first experience with twin peaks and after sitting at the table for nearly 20 minutes without a waitress even taking a drink order we decided that we had better chances of getting service elsewhere. The building looked nice and so did the menu it's a shame we couldn't try the food.

Bloody Mary + venison chili + appetizer sampler + awesome service + Germany scoring 7 goals on Brazil = Excellent Time at Twin Peaks Bloody Mary was awesome. Watching Brazilians cry on TV was even better.

My family and I attend Twin Peaks for my grandpa's 80th birthday. Are family of 13 people arrived and were seated quickly and given menu's to look over. I ordered the 2 full size pretzel appetizer which come with 2 dipping sauces. The pretzels were delicious they were hot and soft and nicely seasoned with salt. My parents ordered the blackened chicken quesadilla... oh were they good, very good ingredients and cooked perfectly. I ordered the hangover burger with fries I had them cook my egg over easy and remove the onions. When the burger arrived it was large but I thought the patty would have been thicker than what it was but it did have good flavor and the addition of the egg made it even better. The steak fries were good and seasoned nicely with whatever the seasoning the restaurant uses on their fries. Are server was on top of the drink refills without us needing to flag her down, I believe the only down fall she had was that she didn't smile, I don't know if she was tired or having a bad day or if possibly the environment that she works in, she finally loosed up and smiled more when my mom complemented her on her tatto(s). This restaurant does have good food and a massive amount of TV's even in the restrooms (well male restrooms at least). This place is kid and family friendly, I saw men, women, little kids, grandma's and grandpa's. I/we will be attending again in the future for some yummy food. I look forward to coming here during college football season (GO SOONERS)..... For the people that want to come here and view the "scenery" the scenery is here to view if that's what your coming here for, but maybe that's why they don't smile all that much or at least the 2 servers we had didn't smile much. I heard they just opened a new Twin Peaks in Independence, MO so I will need to try that location and compare the two. All I can ask for in the future is the ladies to smile, don't make people think you hate your job. Please ladies SMILE MORE. Thank you to the ladies that took a picture with my grandpa on his 80th birthday.

All factors considered would not be quick to return. Too many other sports bars that have less in the way of creepy McCreeps lurking. The waitresses were friendly and capable despite some disturbingly aggro behavior from not just one but two tables of dudes who could barely get off their bar stools without their knuckles dragging the ground. Glad we didn't have kids with us. Whatever these "gentlemen" think they're entitled to because of advertised "scenic views" does not justify acting rude and frankly mean-spirited. The food is above average bar food (would recommend the fried pickles and pulled pork nachos) but I've seen more civilized behavior from males in the gorilla enclosure at the zoo. At least they're photogenic.

I had the BLT and substituted the tomato soup for the venison chili. Makes for a hearty meal. The beer is the coldest in town. 28.9 degrees tonight. Chiefs, Royals and Aggie football all at the same time. My only problem is I have pick up the boy at church in an hour. Great service. Good food. Cold beer. What more could you want?

Although I'm not at all surprised, I found this place to just be "ok." I was in town visting family over Thanksgiving and my husband and I met a few friends here to watch a KU basketball game. As expected on the Friday night after thanksgiving, the place was packed. So, we just sat at the bar and waited for a table. I didn't mind this, because they had some good beer on tap, and it just gave us more time to catch up before eating. Eventually we were sat, and our waitress came over and promptly took our orders. She was nice enough, but as the evening went on, the service started getting weird. I understand this place caters towards men, and that the women wear revealing clothes, I have no problem with that. But while we were eating and catching up with our friends (who we hadn't seen in two years), the woman kept coming up and interrupting our conversation to flirt with the men at the table. At one point, she came over with another waitress to tell say, "oh my god, look! Don't we look like twins?!" We get it - you're both wearing just bras (it was their black Friday lingerie night). I started getting irritated that she kept interrupting our conversation for the sole purpose of attempting to flirt to get higher tips. I'd understand it if it was just a table full of guys, but it wasn't just guys at the table. However, this was probably just down to the one particular waitress we had. That being said - the food was pretty good, typical bar grub. They have an INSANE amount of TV's, so if you're going to watch a game, you are definitely going to get a good view of the game. So in summary - food is pretty decent, great beer selection, and great for watching games, but service just "ok".

i like twin peaks food it is always good and thats why they get two stars. now every time i go in there the girls are always snotty and the past few times i have been in there the girls treated me and my friends like a ghost maybe came to are table 2 times the whole night. so haven't been back in months and I'm sure i won't be going back ever.

This place is the prefect sports bar. Heat did great atmosphereand plenty of TVs. I recommend the cheese bits and the hard cherry cider

One of America's most well-endowed chains has made its way into Kansas City's suburbs and it looks like it could be here for a little bit. Among other things, this restaurant is all about its sports and events. TVs line the walls, hang above the bar and sometimes find themselves in between the tables. There's not a chance you'll miss your team, be it the Chiefs, Jayhawks, Wildcats, maybe the Tigers (pssh) or even maybe a UFC fight or two. The servers focus on the drinks, whether they're double tall beers or some specialty shots. The food is decent, but not overly spectacular. Dishes range from burgers and sandwiches to country specialties and even over to fish tacos. They're decent serving sizes so feel free to share and don't be shy about getting a to-go container so you can finish your leftovers at a later time.

By far the best Sports Bar in town. I've worked in the restaurant business and Twin Peaks is by far the best. Great food and great service!

A friend invited me out to grab a drink then head off to go smoke cigars. As I am sure you can imagine it didn't take a lot of talking me into it. My first impression was that it was another place that made their money off of scantily clad women just like Tilted Kilt or Hooters. And in a way they are. However, this place took great pride in their food. A comprehensive menu covered a number of tastes as well as different amounts to cover if you just needed snacks vs a meal. The service was good and the girls seemed to enjoy themselves though it was a special lingerie review night so all were dressed in lingerie. Our waitress even had wings with her bra and panties. I have only been there once so they have the option of earning more stars in the future. My primary complaint is the same that I often have. They cater to the Light Beer to IPA craze that is currently sweeping America. So their beer selection was a little lopsided. I know, however, that this is an issue decided by the laws of supply and demand.

Friendly service, good food, tons of TVs and a great view ;-) I got the chicken fried steak, it was very good. The whole 29° beer thing is the only downfall. Beer at that temp is fine for crappy BMC beers but if your drinking a good beer you want it around 38°. All you can do is wait, and by thst point the ice that was on top melts and ruins the beer. Overall good place to grab a bit and look at some girls but if you are drinking beer go elsewhere.

6/9/15 Experience. When you walk in, they have around 10 employees at the front. Not one of them said hi or welcome. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes and not one of the 4 bartenders acknowledged me. They were not even bysy. I walked out realizing this place does not have their act together. I put this on the store manager. Not a good experience. Not going back. There is to many other restaurants in the area to enjoy.

Great food and man size beers. Service is #1!! You must try the Texas philly and fries. And the fried catfish is fabulous. We eat here once a month and really like the food. Much better than most restaurants in the area. Great food and generous portion sizes. Give them a try.

Best sports bar in Olathe! Great food, great service, cold beer, hot and friendly girls, and an overall fun atmosphere!

I've been to Twin Peaks at least 20 times. Most girls are friendly, most are cute but the some aren't. Your experience will depend on which server you get. The drinks are decent, prices on the higher side. The food is ok, the menu is limited specially for bar food. The chicken fried steak is good, pork sliders are good and their salads are good. The owner is often walking the floor and he engages customers. It's a good place to watch games and the sound is pretty good.

My husband likes going here as there is special parking for motorcycles. Yes, the women are "under dressed". They usually are, however, friendly and attentive. The pretzels and fried pickles are tasty. The hamburgers are good, but seem like they are pre made, possibly frozen patties. They definately are not freshly made patties. The chicken strips on the other hand ARE freshly made, breaded and fried. They are very good. I also love the thick steak fries. The beer is cold. Fun place to go.

Worst. Service. Ever. Sat at a table for 15 minutes and not one TPG came up to see what we wanted to drink. Not one. 5 girls standing around watching tv though. Good is good which is why it is two stars. The women are...not great. The girls in the picture were good. This review is before we moved to the actual bar.

Even with spouses you'll have a good time. Fairly normal beer and wine selection, but the food menu is very good and the portions are more than ample. The servers (while scantily dressed) are very friendly even to middle/late-agers and very sweet girls! Good good and usually big enough for two of moderate appetites. Plenty of TV's to enjoy a number of games!

Went in for some beers and apps with some buddies...is clearly a guys' place. Now I like scantily clad coeds as much as the next guy. However these girls have uniforms to wear and as minuscule as they are, I just don't want to see spare tires and flabby bellies. I know, kinda shallow. But if you are selling that..... Beer was ice ice cold. 29 degrees cold awesome. Fried pickles were chips and decent enough. ID get them again. I had a blackened chicken quesadilla which was awesome. My buddy got a calendar as a gag gift for his wife and all other server girls came and signed it for some reason and none of them were in the calendar. Weird. And very patronizing. They all seemed annoyed. I don't care for all the tattoos and piercings...but that's just me. Prob won't go out of my way to return.

Not really my type of restaurant, but had company in town and they requested twin peaks. They had two things I always look for in a good bar and grill. Get your mind out of the gutter, (there's more to twin peaks than the 'views') - I'm referring to cold Boulevard pale ale on tap and amazing fried pickles. The tacos and fire fries weren't too bad either, and the service was great. Although I'm not really the 'target audience' I'd definitely go back if the mood struck.

  • Jason B.

Manager is playing the Royals game before the all star break instead of the NBA Finals and refuses to change it because "it is clearly the more important game". There are more TV's on college Lacrosse than there are on the Finals. The two tables around us tabbed out and left, telling the manager it was because of the game selection and he wouldn't budge. Food is not too bad for the price and all the servers are always pleasant. But where sports on TV are obviously important the management needs to listen to their guests and get off of their high horse.

    (2)
  • William Q.

Food is good.... Management needs help. Took out of town customers for lunch. Service was awful.. You can tell the waitress have their regulars. They need to concentrate on building new customer business... They need to step it up because tilted kilt is opening soon. (Food is the only reason they get 2 Stars)

    (2)
  • Kevin F.

Hangover burger was awesome, steak fries equally good and a nice cold beer. Waitress was really good in her cave woman outfit. Great atmosphere and plenty of tv's for sports. We will be back.

Yes, they use scantily clad, bubbly ladies to rope in the guys, but the concept only works if all phases deliver. In this case they hit every guy criteria and deliver a great experience: -TV's: I've never seen a place with so many HDTV's. They have a couple of 80" big screens on each side of the bar, plus TV next to TV next to TV covering every wall around the place. -Patio: Great East facing patio so it doesn't feel like the surface of the sun in summer. Big garage doors that open to give it an open feel. -Beer: Nice selection and so cold it is almost a beer slush. -Food: Surprisingly good food. My buddy had a chicken fried steak the size of a hubcap. Philly was tasty. -Service: Not only are the ladies in "uniform" and friendly, but attentive, perhaps too attentive. A few buddies and I were hanging out talking and she would come over, sit down, and talk for awhile. We would have to try and pick up the conversation once she left. Not a big deal, I'll take over attentive vs. where in the hell did she go? It is a good place if you are hanging out with your boys, watching a game, and want to have some ice cold beer and a good sammy. Heck I even saw 3 or 4 lady customers when I was in there (granted they were old, but ladies nonetheless).

You can pretty much sum up the Twin Peaks experience by watching the Southpark episode where Butters falls for the Raisins waitress. I was quite surprised by how busy the restaurant was for mid-afternoon. Everything was well organized and moved quite smoothly for a restaurant that has been open a little over a week. Huge kudos to the pre-opening training. This is how a restaurant should be prepared when they open. The restaurant is definitely designed to bring in the male crowd. From the barely dressed waitresses, to the tons of TV screens covered in sports channels, but they go the extra step in making Twin Peaks a chauvinistic dining environment by labeling their beers and certain food items as man size or woman size. The restaurant is famous for their cold beer. I will agree that it is super cold when it comes to you, but lacking being served in a frosty mug quickly changes that and it doesn't hold the cold long. They do have a decent variety on tap and they offer samples if you want to try something which is nice. The menu is small and mostly typical chain bar food. I ordered a Hangover Burger which came with a fried egg and bacon. It was pretty good, but lacked spices. It is served with fries which come in various sizes from wide steak fries to thick cut square fries. This is a major fail as the fries do not cook evenly. Some are crispy, some are soft. The fries have what looks like a season salt on them, but it lacks much flavor. The service is overbearing. You kind of expect a lot of attention in a place like this, but I was visited no fewer than 6 times, included sitting to take my drink order, sitting to take my food order, coming and sitting and chatting with me while I waited for my order, checking on me a few times, telling me to let her know when I was ready for my check, asking me if I was ready for my check.... I have had dates that were not as attentive as this dining experience. You can expect to be bombarded with "honey", "sweetheart", "darling", etc. It actually reached the point where I just wanted to finish my meal and go. The scenery is better than other local restaurants that sell the same type of service. Some more curves instead of pushing and squeezing together is needed, but at least the noticeable attempt is much better.

Made my first visit to Twin Peaks I will have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about going with pictures I had seen and some of the reviews I had read. We arrived between 2:30 and 3:00 on Saturday afternoon the place was relatively busy but we were seated rather quickly. Since there were several of us we were seated in a side room adjacent to the main bar. The room had a rustic woodsy decor with a corner fireplace and 9 large flat screen tv's with our choice of several different NCAA basketball games. There was music playing overhead as well, a great mix of Rock from the 70's and 80's. Even with everything going on it was not overly loud. I was surprised we were able to enjoy the music, watch the games, and still converse amongst ourselves with out yelling. Since all of our group had yet arrived we order our drinks and appetizers. We started off with the Soft Pretzels and boy were they good, warm, fresh, with just enough crisp to the outside. I also ordered a margarita, not the best one I ever had. It was served in the same size glass as the tea or pop but was completely filled with ice and no complimentary refill here. It wasn't until I got my bill that I saw what a mistake I had made. I will never order a another drink without knowing the price. $10.25 for one small drink! For my entree I went with the Pablano Chicken sandwich, it was wonderful. It came with Fire Fries, perfectly cooked steak fries with their signature spice. I'm not a real fan of French fries but theirs are WONDERFUL! Overall it was a good dining experience. The food was great I will probably return. As far as the "scenery", not really what I was expecting. The waitresses may have been cute but the ones we had contact with had no personality. It's definitely geared towards the male patrons yet family-friendly.

Stopped by for a quick bite last night on the way to a concert. Went in with two other guys, thinking, hey, all guys, service will be better than having the wife along with. God, I am a glutton for punishment. Seriously folks, hire people that at least can PRETEND to like where they work. I have never seen such "I don't give a crap attitudes" than this place. Total service failure. Again.

Pretty disappointed. Called at 11:10pm to see if they were open. They said their hours are until 12:00. Drove about 15 minutes to get here and hear, "we just closed the kitchen". awesome

This is a two part review due to incredibly poor service up front (1 star), but stellar table service once I sat down (5 stars). First of all, I have been to a couple of Twin Peaks locations in the past and have always had a good experience! What's not to love? Prior to heading to the Olathe location, I checked the Yelp address/reviews. One review caught my eye, the one by Jeff L. Based on my past experiences, I couldn't believe everything he wrote could be true. Sadly, it was. I had the exact same experience up front. They absolutely try to steer party's of one towards the Bar Rail and away from taking up a table. Once you insist on a table (because who wants to sit directly across from a complete stranger as is the case of the Rail), they role their eyes and begrudgingly seat you. Needless to say, a one star experience at best. Once I sat down; however, I was happily greeted by Gabby. What an immediate change in attitude. Not only did she not seem upset to have a party of one, she almost seemed happy to see me. Go figure! From that moment on, I had a great experience. The service was fast and friendly, the food was good, and the TVs were abundant. Thanks for making my experience Gabby! I will be back....if I can get a table! Thanks for the heads up Jeff!

I've been here twice now & really like it. The venison queso is my favorite & can't wait to go back for more. My first visit I got the smokehouse burger. Didn't suck but wasn't the best burger. My second visit I got the quesadillas & they were delicious. I will definitely order them again. Their salsa comes out smoking hot (not spicy) & has really good flavor. As a female, I just shake my head at all the guys starring at all the women & kinda find it humorous. Definitely recommend.

Had a GNO there last night! I had a great time and our server was gorgeous. She carded us. Instant flattery. Typically, we shut down the place and are walking out with the staff, but not here it was still thriving at 10:30. Atmosphere was outdoorsy, FUN and the food humungous. Wow! I ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos. They were stacked high like the game Jenga, delicious and we didn't eat half of them. The others ordered the steak sliders and thoroughly enjoyed them. We witnessed two customers order the chicken fried steak & that sucker was at least a foot long. Huge. Come hungry :) They did group shots like Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" The Maragaritas were good! I recommend going and with a group. Plenty of tvs to watch any upcoming game.

More a 3.5, but we can't do that yet. Went here for lunch last week with the guys from work. At first I was hoping for a clone of the diner from the TV show in the 90's by the same name, but alas, not today. What I did get were scantily clad ladies, burgers, and beer. I've never been one for "Hooters" style restaurants. I'm there for lunch, not a lap dance. That being said, the servers were friendly and nice, and didn't mess up anyone's order. Drinks were filled promptly, and we didn't wait forever for our checks. As for the food, not bad. Nothing great, but better than similar restaurants. I had the smokehouse burger and fries, nothing special. The burger was a little greasy, but the fries were awesome. Overall, if you want to gawk at pretty ladies, it's a good option. I can think of better restaurants to get lunch at in the area, though.

My friend K and I are probably the only girls who will walk into this place freely without being dragged by our guy friends. We both lived in Dallas together and Twin Peaks was a bar we frequented often. We like the food which I personally think is better than most other pub grub. We love the beer and even though they obviously cater toward men the girls were always super friendly to us. Any other place in yuppie Dallas we'd be ignored (even by male bartenders) Not sure what it is but Dallas guys didn't get the 'Southern Gentlemen' training course! Oh and it's always a plus that we're not going to get hit on by the crummy dudes in the place because, well, why would they pay attention to us when these girls have their tatas out? We could have girls night and drink freely. So we were uber excited to hear Twin Peaks was opening here. At this point it's more just "our thing" versus "OMG this place is awesome". We love it and it makes us happy.

This is a true sports bar ... good food (and lots of it) ... friendly service ... excellent beer selection ... and lots of TVs on the walls without them interfering in good conversation. We saw this restaurant on the TV show "Undercover Boss" and decided to try it. I'm a big fan of sports bars, but this one now ranks at the top of my list. The food was extremely good (blackened fish tacos and a burger about the size of Cleveland), and our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We'll be back. And we're looking forward to the new one which opens soon in Independence (which is closer to our place in Lees Summit)

Last visit there we had a hamburger, $8.00+. Thought they would be as good as their pot roast. Not! Reminded me of White Castle's, thin and no flavor. Will not do that again. We bought the calendar so we go once a month. Pot roast and sliders are all we like. I give the views a 5+ though!

Mozzarella sticks. Get them and then thank me. I have never seen any so big, and they were delicious. A meal just in the five. Not. Kidding. The atmosphere is fun and occasionally you get the waitress who causes you to lose IQ points every time she walks by, but means well. The waitresses are really attentive, especially since I was sitting with some nice looking men, so we received great service, but to be fair, they were really friendly and nice and stopped to chat every so often. Its their job, I know, chat up the tipsy men and hopefully charm an extra few bucks in tips out of 'em. Its all good.

Been here a handful of times and always a positive experience. My first time there I expected the food to be below average but was pleasantly surprised that the food was very tasty. TVs galore, but if the Royals are playing, expect to see almost every TV tuned to that (but any other sports bar would be the same way). Beer is always cold, they have a temp reading on the wall. Service has always been great, whether it was four of us during busy Friday dinner, two of us in middle of the afternoon (only time I would've called it "slow" in there), three of us for a late night drink, or a group of 15 for Sunday lunch. Oh and the girls there are amazing, check out the Facebook page and you can see the ladies. They know the deal, they know they are eye candy and they will flirt with you, but they provide as good of service (if not better) as any other restaurant. Also almost every time I've been there, a manager would make the rounds, and ask how everything was. Only negative thing about this place is some of the other customers. Most people are respectful but there are some guys that seem to come in there thinking it's a strip club or something, but the girls there all take it in stride. I recommend the hangover burger with either the blonde or brunette beers.

First timer! Went for a buddies birthday, which fell on the kstate bowl game and UFC fight. They accommodated us by turning the UFC fight on in the main room, kudos. Beer was cold and food was good, a bit pricey. Slightly disappointed in some of the scenery(got to tighten it up a little) but we did have the best one in the place. I'd eat here again.

Unbelievably poor service. I tried to have dinner at this location, but due to my being a party of one, I obviously was not welcome. I decided to stop by after work (I happen to be in the restaurant business), to have a quick meal. The place was very busy, so I was prepared to wait for a table. I told the hostess that I was by myself for dinner - she proceeded to direct me to the bar rail, without even asking if I wanted to sit at the bar. I walked over and looked at the bar, and there was nowhere to sit that I would not have been packed in like a sardine. I went back to the same hostess, and told her I would prefer to wait for a table. She proceeded to hand me over to another hostess, who again tried to get me to sit at the bar. I told her that I did not want to sit at the bar rail. At this point, I seemed to have contracted leprosy. She told me that I would have to wait 25 minutes for a table, and would need to share a table with other diners - guess parties of 1 are not welcome? She also told me that I was being rude about not wanting to sit at the bar. I've been in the restaurant business for over 25 years, and was completely stunned. You never tell a guest that they are being rude, even if they are. You stay calm and try to do what you can to remedy the situation - you can earn a raving fan for life if you take care of an upset guest. Even if I was being rude, which I don't feel that I was since at this point I was not upset, she should have tried to accomodate my request for a table, not the bar. I was fine with waiting. I understand they were busy, so expected to wait. After being treated like I was thoroughly unwanted, I decided to just leave and go eat somewhere else. The final straw was the look of relief on the hostesses face when I told her never mind, that I would just go somewhere else. I won't be back, and would not at all recommend going here for a meal. I would love to be able to rate the servers and the food, but obviously, I never got the chance.

Went in primarily to sample the Scenic Views and decided on the skirt steak. The steak was very delicious, cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered, and tender tender which is atypical for skirt steak. It was great. The beers were COLD as advertised. As for negative comments from others critical of the Scenic Views. I was fortunate that my waitress was the prettiest girl in the place but let me also say that there were many beautiful, friendly, smiling, and engaging young ladies providing plenty of good service all around me. Can we all agree that there are very few perfect bodies out there but there are many, many beautiful women. I enjoyed watching some doing their jobs happily and also enjoyed meeting the one who provided excellent service to me for which she was tipped generously. I thought the menu was a bit strange but my steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans was very good and a good value. I think I'll go back tonight and have something else on the menu. There's a limited but diverse menu and everything is advertised as "made fresh today". Not typical pub grub and on my one experience the food was quite tasty.

I took my wife in on a Sunday to watch the Chiefs game. I would have felt better if the greeter would have asked where we would like to sit. Everything else was great. Cold beer, good appetizers and food ! We will be back but will be more involved in the area picked to sit in.

I went in 2 days after the opening. The place was packed. I had a enjoyable evening. I'll return for the sub-freezing draft beer.

Pleasantly surprised. yes....the women are barely clothed (that CAN be a bad thing). We had a very nice waitress, Hannah. She was attentive, attractive and assertive. I expected crappy food. I ordered the Pot roast and it was pretty darn good. Reminded me of Holihan's. I will return.

Like a hooters for lumberjacks! Good food and mini brats are awesome. Friendly staff (duh). And nice beer selection.

A friend of mine recommended we come here yesterday to watch the KU vs. Texas game. I had never been so I figured why not? We got there about 45 min before tip-off bc we weren't sure how packed it would get. I had the Dirty Blonde (I think that's what it was called) house beer and I liked it. It reminded me of a Blue Moon. We ordered the pulled pork nachos, quesadillas, and the queso dip to start. The nachos were huge. I really liked it until I realized there were chopped pickles on it... (I hate pickles!) I kind of had to eat around it. The tangy BBQ sauce they put on it was good though. I didn't eat any of the other appetizers, but the quesadillas were pretty well stuffed from the looks of it - not your usual flattened tortilla sandwich. My friends said it tasted alright. The queso dip was also mediocre according to them. I did taste the chicken and shrimp basket and thought that was pretty good. I like how the fries are big and nicely seasoned. Service-wise our experience was average. This place is like Hooters with a little more skin. Oh, and there really wasn't a need to come super early before the game. There were still plenty of open tables come tip-off time.

Their spark is fading and soon the girls will go back to their old stripper jobs. Never have I ever heard so many terrible things about servers at a restaurant as a whole. (Prostitution, tattoos, piercings). Save your time and morals. At least hooters girls are CLASSY with their tackiness.
