I came across Cathy Caters during a last-minute catering scramble a couple of years ago. The website wasn't flashy, and I wasn't sure what I would get, but it turned out to be the start of a good catering contact in Kansas City. I haven't had the pleasure of actually meeting Cathy or trying her food, but based on the reactions of those who had, she really delivers great food with great presentation. Cathy has always been punctual, and professional with her billing. The food selection is good, and I can typically drop her a line 24 hours before the meeting to get on her calendar. Cathy Caters is a consistently solid catering company.

Great service! I went for lunch and only had an hour. I ate, paid and was out the door in about 45 minutes! I have been to this Applebee's several times and this is my favorite location. They recently remodeled also and it looks very nice. Highly recommend this location.

We have been here many times and they have never disappointed us. We all order different things and every meat choice is flavorful. I always get the Beef barbacoa, love it in their burritos with everything on it and when they add the enchilada sauce topped with cheese, it's absolutely amazing! The people here have been here since day 1. Best service ever.
I used to go to this location when it was Cilantro Southwest Grill. The friendly family that ran that restaurant is gone, but many of the menu items are the same. Very similar menu, prices, and taste to Cilantro. The food was fresh and made to order. Everything tasted great, the staff was friendly, and I'd go back again for sure.
We've been here twice now and have really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly. At both visits they offered us samples of all their different meats which was nice. I really like the pork barbacoa and carnitas. You order up front and then choose your booth or table. They have a good size menu including tamales, tostadas, tacos, taco salad, fajitas, and burritos. They will customize anything, just ask. I ordered the taco salad and asked for fajita peppers too. They grilled them up fresh on the flat top. The salad ingredients were fresh. It was a great salad. My husband had the burrito both visits. The second time he customized it and really enjoyed it. He loved the red sauce on top. For drinks, they have coke products, horchata, and beer. I'm not sure if this place will hold it's own, being in the same strip mall section as Chipolte. However the food is great and I really hope it succeeds.

Great "New York"style pizza. Thin crust that its chewy and crisp, but not crunchy or cracker like. I'll be returning.
Love, love, love this pizza. I have since I was a teenager and I would eat it every time I went to the mall. Love it as a fun, nostalgic food.
Basically the only reason to go into The Great Mall. Closest to NY style you'll find ...even better than some actually in NYC

Hands down, best ice cream place I have ever ate at. Great service- they requested many of their popular flavors and allowed me to sample then before I ordered. I'm not from Kansas City, but I will definitely be going back!
Busy place, but yummy ice cream. I rarely take the time to enjoy an ice cream shop outting, but I prefer Sylas & Maddi's for the unique flavors. Fun place for date night, or an afternoon treat with the kiddos.
Stopped here since it was the only place open on the 4th of July around us. Lot's of options and always looks busy but it made my belly very upset. Not sure if it has gluten in their basic ice cream or what. Normally places will give you a "pup cup" if you have a dog in the car-not this place. She wanted me to buy a junior for almost $3, instead I had her give me a small sample spoon. I ordered the reese's ice cream, jason got the snickers and I can't remember what my niece ordered. It was pretty disorderly in there, it would have been easy to walk out without paying. Cute place Busy No Pup Cup Made me, a gluten free person, sick. Disorderly

I really enjoyed this meal. I waited in a line for twenty minutes just to get to the register. I wish this place was a little more new guest friendly but with the crush of people I understood. I wanted to try burnt ends, but they were not available. I went with the two meat plate and my girlfriend got the Z Man! Both were excellent. I also got the gumbo and a side of dirty rice. I was content but not stuffed. I guess that would be my only complaint. Maybe slightly larger portions, but the quality was excellent.
I've eaten here once. I ordered their only vegetarian item, the Portobello V-Man. It was okay, but not amazing. Also, Joe's will not allow you to make any changes or substitutions to any items on their menu. I felt sick afterwords, and some of my friends have noticed the same effect. It is inexpensive (can eat there for less than $10). It is unique place (order at the front), with a ridiculously long wait.
(Review from a lap-bander: small eating options) Oklahoma Joe's is generally so busy with a line out the door but it moves really quickly! I tend to gravitate towards the meat and slaw sandwiches. I got the pulled pork with slaw and fries. Always yummy! I don't eat the bun and graze after adding a 50/50 split of hot bbq sauce and regular. Their sauce is pretty dang good too! I like that the pulled pork is well "sorted". There is rarely the nasty bit in your mouth of fat or other unpleasantries. It happens though when real meat is on your plate (not pressed fast food meat.) Their fry portion is huge, so plan to share. -- My only complaint with Oklahoma Joes (and other restaurants) is the upcharge for an adult off the kids menu. Just because I'm an adult, I get charged $2 more for the exact same portion. There's a reason I'm ordering smaller. I just can't eat that much. So, I order off the standard menu due to price and throw away 3/4 of it. Silly really. The establishment is always very clean and cared for and staff are generally very pleasant. I appreciate that as soon as someone leaves, the table is cleared and clean for the next group within 90 seconds. Super quick!

Right from the start I knew this would be a place I will frequent. The staff was very friendly and the smells from the kitchen were authentic! My first visit was early (8:45 am) and I got the breakfast burrito. I'm not sure about this but the tortillas tasted and felt homemade. The burrito itself had sausage, cheese, eggs and potatoes. A very authentic breakfast burrito. My second visit. I had to try the torta. It was packed full of shredded pork. My favorite! But other meats available. It was very authentic with a grill warmed bun and had all the fixings. With my order I grabbed 6 tamales and chips n salsa The chips are good/extra crunchy and the salsa is on point, smooth with a little kick. The Tamales are as good as you could Ever ask for this side of dodge;) get a dozen and just warm them up. They are to die for!!
I came to Kansas to visit from Fort Worth, Texas and stopped by this amazing place. I had their enchiladas, Texas tacos and a breakfast burrito it was some of the best Mexican food I had here. I really recommend their breakfast burrito! I wish I could have one every morning and I will miss this place when I go back home. Service was great and the people who run the restaurant are sweet and very sociable you will feel right at home. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods I definitely recommend you to stop by and try their delicious food. Ps: props to the very handsome cook in the back
I really enjoy the food here, but for the second time in as many weeks I came by to eat and they were closed. This makes it very difficult to recommend since they may not be open. I get that it is a family business and family happens, but they need a good backup plan other than just being closed.

I know everyone has their favorite burger place and that can be a personal thing. Culver's happens to be mine. My first experience was in southern missouri where I was mildly confused and disgusted by the thought of a Butter Burger. When it was explained that they toast the buns with a bit of butter I was on board to give it a try, and very pleased. It's not a place you want to frequent if you are conscious of what you consume, but for an occasional indulgence it's a treat. I've spoken with the manager a couple times. He is very friendly and always has something nice to say to the kids.
I've never been a fan of their butter burgers. Just somehow tasted off to me. I do, however, love their custard and fries! Ice cream is rich and creamy, fries are hot and crispy and always come out fast with the consideration that I don't eat my fries with salt. Close to home and quick, friendly service.
Greeted at the door by an employee and provided advice about which fish ( cod or walleye) was best. Plus, the facility was spotless.

I have driven by this place many times, and thought that it was a little iffy from the outside appearance. Boy was I wrong! After walking in through the doors you are transported into a classy, yet modern atmosphere. I'm glad I was craving sushi that night, and we got one of their specials (the Holiday Bowl) and everything was delish! My boyfriend was craving sake himself, and we went for the NiGoRi which was fabulous. Not only did we get sake, but the special came with edamame for an app. then finished the meal with strawberry mochi. We had a full on meal for less than 60 dollars! This is of course before tip. Since moving, I have found a new sushi place for sure.
Stopped in and had a delightful lunch. I'll wager everything is as good as the avocado salad, Foxy Lady special roll, and strawberry mochi I had. Perfection.
This place is horrible!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason I thought about stopping by it's because it's fusion style. I grew up surrounded with Sushi restaurants and I know how sushi suppose to taste like. *I ordered a sushi roll wrapped with soy paper that includes variety of fish but with a dull discoloration and it's mushy like a paste. Not fresh at all. * My seared white tuna appetizer wasn't seared and served in a very small portion of 6 tiny thin slices topped with an orange sauce that was way too sweet. The most interesting part was a BUG landed on my plate and slowly making its way to match it's acquire taste. As I carefully examined, the bug seems to travel around my plate and suddenly started to feed on the orange sauce. I guess I'm sharing my food with the little bug that decided to keep me company for lunch. LOL At least my food didn't go to waste. lol *Jalapeno yellow tail was very fishy and not fresh at all. The best part of this dish was the tiny pieces of Jalapenos that I ate after to covered the fishy taste. I strongly advice you spend your money else where. It's a ripped off when everything came in a small portion and nothing is fresh.

Now I'm not a huge fan of reviews on chains. But this place has special place in my heart because of the way they run their business and help our local community. Plus they have some pretty quality fast food that's always served fresh, hot and with a smile. As far as fast food their classic chicken sandwich is great, I do it with a wheat bun. Then their Spicy Chicken sandwich is very tasty and even has a good little kick. Waffle fries are good and oh boy the milkshakes are yummy... But a small will set you back about 700 calories, but hey sometimes it's worth it. Now Chick Fil A has a rep for great customer service and employees who go out of their for to serve their customers. When you say thanks they say "it's my pleasure to serve you" and they mean it. This for me is much better than a little cheaper meal and workers who act annoyed when you drive up. Plus if you are a church, non profit, little league and looking to do fundraising they will let you host a Spirit Night and give proceeds to your group. My non profit has done it twice and made $650 in one night! Quality fast food, service with a smile, and a friend to the community...great place in my book! Oh and did I mention that they'll even accept expired coupons?!
Never had a bad meal or service here. This is the model for all franchises for quality and service.
Good food. Friendly staff who are happy to help. The place gets crowded around lunch and dinner time. Pretty standard for all Chick-Fil-A
