Great subs, very well done. Quick orders, the food taste great - my favorite sub sandwich place. They also have the Coke freestyle machine which is the best soda machine ever!

Personally, I think YELP should split their rating into more than one score. I'm tired of eating at places with great food only to be knocked down because someone didn't like how long the waitress/waiter took getting their order or how they looked or addressed the customers I don't care. Staff will come and go. It's about the food, only about the food! Firehouse is my new favorite sandwich shop. It beats all the other sub shops in this town hands down! I love the cold turkey sandwich here! Okay, bottom line...the sandwiches are fantastic. No one in our lunch group of five complains about the food. We are not an easy group to please. The bad news is: This location can be perceived as slow. Firehouse is not McDonald's folks. They do pretty well during the week; however I did wait 27 minutes for my sub on a Sunday afternoon during a Chiefs game. If you need a sandwich fast, this is not your best choice. Be ready to wait 10 min + during lunch rush. Not unreasonable in my opinion for great food. If you want the best sandwich....this is your spot! Food fantastic, service, in need of some improvement.

I am a big fan of Firehouse subs, so my issue is only specifically with this location. I ordered my normal sub, and sat down. I was only the second person in the store after it had opened. After 13 minutes I finally got my sub, and it was cold. I don't mind waiting, but the obnoxious part was that 4 people were working, but 3 were yapping in the back, and one made the subs we had ordered. I was pretty hungry, so I let it slide. The worst part is when I was almost finished with the sandwich that I noticed the hair in the mayonnaise that was overflowing out of the side of my sandwich. Do yourself a favor and skip this location.

I've had Firehouse catered at work over a year ago and recently wanted a quick dinner to take to a park picnic. This particular Firehouse Sub shop was exactly what I was looking for. Although the young man at the counter was being trained, the other staff member was very nice and training the gentleman well. They answered all our questions about the sub selections (we wanted modifications and cold subs, not hot.) I ordered a sub with bacon but wanted my sub cold. This doesn't sound like a big deal but with customer service the way it is these days, they were smart enough to wam up the bacon before putting it on my sandwich. I was also impressed that they were very patient with the older couple in front of us in line. I ordered the Sub Club and it was exactly what I was wanting; fresh, well made and wrapped tight (unlike some Subways), and very open to my changes and additions to my sub. If you are into hot sauces too.. there is a HUGE selection for free. All in all, the store was very clean. They let us have fun with a kids fire hat while we were waiting for our subs. Nice staff good soft fresh bread One downfall though... if you are counting calories, their nutritional facts are surprisingly high. Look before you go/order.

This place...I'm shaking my head as I write this. This place is exasperating. BUT - still deserves 4 stars. The food is wonderful. The subs ARE made fresh and it does take quite some time to get your food. The place is a small hole in the wall - very clean and put together. The issue with this place can't really be helped - there is usually a very long wait in line and then a longer wait for your food once it is ordered - BUT -this is because the food is good and everyone wants to eat there. The place is CRAWLING with kids - parents like to take their children here...not sure why...and when you are already standing in a very long line and dealing with a super long wait it can be annoying to listen to the screams. But that can't be helped either. FireHouse subs is just TOO good and I'm just grumpy around screaming children, lol. I like that they have one of those automatic soda machines with a zillion different choices. The staff is pretty friendly - obviously stressed cause they are busy. Someone will bring your food to you - whether you are eating there or it is to go - that is kind of weird but nice. The only other thing I didn't like was the obvious question from the cashier asking you to round up your dollar for charity - they ask you loudly in front of the super long line behind you so you feel like an absolute a** if you don't say yes. I felt kind of ambushed. But small complaints. You can get that anywhere. The point is this place is actually pretty great. If you can handle a bit of a wait and a LOT of people around you - the food you get is wonderful. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is because of the wait and I'm not actually THAT big of a sub fan.

Just another sub place that can't seem to stand out in a world awamped with them. Howver, I do have to say the subs are really delicious. I had a large New York Steamer, which is basiclly hot pastramiw ith cheese and who knows what other stuff (I couldn't remember). What I do remember is how tender the meat was and how satisfying the meal was. If you are looking for a Goodcents size sub though, it won't be your spot. . . .

It's a great place for subs, but like my man Kev L. said, it just doesn't stand out. If I have a choice between $5 foot longs and firehouse subs, I'm gonna go with a $5 foot long.

Having never had a Firehouse Sub before and hearing decent things about it, I decided to try the one that opened somewhat recently (not exactly sure when) near my house. Well, it was a disappointment if I ever saw one! So the staff...one guy was friendly, the rest just acted mad at the world that they had to be there on a Sunday. The cashier, for example, acted annoyed that I interrupted her texting session to order a sandwich. The restaurant itself was nice - open, airy, quiet and very clean. But it's the food that people go for, right? So let's move on to that. I ordered an Engineer, which was toasted wheat bread with turkey, swiss and mushrooms. The sandwich itself was really quite small....it honestly surprised me how small it was. With chips and a drink it was something like $9...really shocking considering the size. However, that would have been fine if the quality had been good...which I really don't feel it was. One cool thing is the hot sauce "bar", which has a good 30 different hot sauces, all labeled in spiciness from 1 to 10. I chose a 10 just to take a little taste of it and it definitely burned!

Love this place. We eat there several times a month. Excellent subs (my new favorite in town), and this location has super-friendly service. Definitely stands out as WAY better than your average sub place. I'm always stuffed after the regular size sub. Sandwiches are made fresh, so they take longer than most sub places (which is the only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars), but it's worth the wait if you have time. Definitely recommend it!
