Ok let me start with I wish could give a restaurant no stars because this 1 definitely deserves it. I was passing through the area from going to Indiana and stopped here for a late lunch my family and I decided to have this place because we have ate here before when in the area before they changed management and names. When the food is fresh it is alright for buffet food but this time I had a major issue 1st of all when coming Into the restaurant the woman at the counter that seated us was on her phone talking very loudly in her language it was so loud and instead of putting the person on the other end on hold she proceeded to seat us while still yelling at the person on the phone she took us to our table slammed the silverware down and barely got our drink order before walking off like we had rudely interrupted her. 2nd all the food on the buffet was old obviously had been there since the noon hour I came in around 330 ish so of course like you would usually do is ask for fresh stuff on buffet so they put out fresh food for all of the customers in the place. We had to wait about 20 min or so just for the fresh stuff to start rolling out. While we were eating the very rude woman that had seated us was back on her phone the same exact way as when came in yelling loudly to whoever was on he other end of the phone that went on through our meal for at least 20 minutes or more and of course we had just been in the car for several hours w our children and wanted a little piece and quiet while we were eating of course we didn't get that our kids were quieter in our car all those hours than the very rude woman at the restaurant. So we finished our food and looked at the check to go pay well she charged us for dinner time charge instead of lunch charge so I went to the counter and ask her when the dinner hour starts she stated that it was 4 so I told her we got here before 4 so we should be charged for the lunch hour not dinner she threw a major fit and started arguing with another woman in the place in there language then she looked at me and said that because they changed out all of the food then we had to b charged for dinner and I said no we were here before dinner time starts and u didn't put out new food just for my family I am not paying for the dinner price she continued to yell with the other woman I told them I was refusing to pay dinner price for lunch time and the woman after much arguing back and forth decided to change the price I told her that if they were goin to have a cut off for lunch then they shouldn't try to charge lunch people dinner price and paid the new amount and left saying I would never be back again and that I would let people know how they run things here. So you are able to make your own decision of course but just know they will try to overcharge you so definitely pay attention to your bill before you leave.

For a Chinese buffet, this place is decent enough. They are a bit pricy in the evening/weekends so that's a draw back. The hibachi area is what I generally stick to. That and the all you can eat sushi. I will probably be back next time I'm craving Chinese.

we went on a Saturday night and paid $12.99 each which seems high because neither of us wanted the crab legs. The food was just okay. My boyfriend said the sushi was warm, I don't eat sushi. The Mongolian bbq part was good, variety of options and cooked fast. I won't go back mainly because the price was high for what it was.

Is there an option for no stars? If so, this is the restaurant that'll get it. The food was ok as far as Chinese buffet goes but pricey. The service was awful. No-star awful. I don't think the manager (who was on the phone the entire time we were there) or the wait staff spoke English. For it being later in the evening, there were quite a few people dining, which made of difficult to determine which customer was the one burping. Lastly, there was a pen spring in the food. Yes, you read that correctly. A spring from a ballpoint pen. I wish I had thought of taking a picture, but the meal ended at that point and we won't be going back.

This was pretty good as super buffets go. Reasonable prices, they keep the food fresh, and it's the basics you expect. Loved their crispy chicken wings, those were AWESOME. Their beef could be sliced a little thinner in the beef dishes, but that's a personal preference. Since it's a buffet, the server didn't check back with us much, but enough to get by.

I personally think this is a pretty decent Chinese place. Although I've seen some bad reviews I haven't had anything to complain about...yet lol the food when we come in always fresh and they are quick on refilling our drinks. Usually they have the same stuff out, but some days they switch it up and put out something different on some of the bars. The help has always been pretty friendly.

My wife went here for lunch with workmates and said she liked it a lot. I of course told her that was not possible - I mean it only has 1 1/2 stars on Yelp. She assured me she wasn't crazy so I said I'd try it out. The food was DELICIOUS! (And HOT). I'll be back. True the decor and ambiance could use a makeover, but it's not a wreck by any means. Great place for the feed bag.

Came here for my cousin's birthday lunch. Hugely disappointed in how this place turned out. Mainly because of the fact that the food was c-o-l-d. The sushi bar was not fresh. Honestly, if the food could at least stay a bit warm, it could count as your average chinese buffet food. The overall experience at this place however would definitely be below average. The host and the people bussing tables were nice. But the combination of sticky tables/chairs and the cold, nasty food doesn't leave customers a very good impression. My family will definitely not be keeping this location on our to-go list of Chinese buffets.

The absolute worst service I've ever even heard of!! Manager didn't even care. So unprofessional. How is this even a business?

Subpar Asian buffet food in a crappy Mexican restaurant's decor. The waitress set another table's dirty plate on our table. Someone's gnawed food fell onto the table and she walked off, leaving us to clean up the nastiness. If that's what passes for ok in the front of the house, I hate to think about what is hidden away in the back. Save your self the food poisoning and go somewhere else. This place is totally not worth it at twelve bucks.

Went here because we used to come when it was it's predecessor, Wei's Super Buffet. It was okay back then; sushi used to be better. Now, sushi was done way in advance and held hostage in the cooler or freezer...GROSS! My son had some kind of battered chicken and it was over cooked, almost like a jerky inside the batter. I had rice noodles and mussels and those were decent. I tried some of the battered items and most were overdone. The short ribs were okay too. We got to the dessert and pastries & those were grossly dried; all of them: cream puffs, petit fours, éclairs. ..GROSS! Time to pay. My bill came to $17 something. I couldn't tell you the exact amount because the waitress took my money and never came back with the change! I guess she didn't want a better tip than my change; oh well. Uhhhh, definitely not my kind of place.

The employees here are rude, do not honor coupons, and the food looked and tasted as though it had been sitting out all day.

As others have mentioned, when this was Wei's Super Buffet, it was actually pretty good for a Chinese buffet. Now, it doesn't really set itself apart from any other Chinese buffets. It's ok, but on weekends the price is a little high. I actually ate at City Super Buffet close to it's grand opening. I was rather disappointed then and decided not to write a review. I decided to give them another chance and ate there about a week ago. It was an improvement, but that doesn't necessarily say much. The food was better on the second visit. Items weren't cold and they replenished the buffet fairly quickly. The food tasted like one would expect from a buffet. I prefer to do the Mongolian BBQ. Something about them cooking it to order sits better with me than food sitting out on a heated surface. I also think it tastes better because you can choose the ingredients and the amount of whatever sauce is available. The person doing the grilling was fast and did a good job. Service was much better on the second visit. The waitress/busser cleared empty plates and refilled beverages quickly. She and the other employees we had any interaction with were nice. The sushi bar didn't look as good as it used to when it was Wei's. I"m guessing they no longer have the sushi chef that prepared the sushi back then. It almost looks pre-packaged now and there isn't as much variety. The desserts were pretty lacking. They used to have a little more selection. I pretty much only have the soft serve ice cream now. One nice thing is that they kept the hand sanitizer stations that are near each buffet table. I wish more people would use them, but at least they have them. All in all, it's just another buffet.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
