Terrible terrible rude service. The employees do not smile or say thank you. The one star is because the food is delicious.

My husband and I love Chipotle. Even my 80-yr old Japanese mother who swears she doesn't like Mexican food loved her chicken burrito bowl.

You can't go wrong with Chipotle. I am always amazed that no matter what time I stop by this location, there is some sort of line, but the wait is never long. The workers do a great job moving everyone along in an efficient manner. I am always torn between the chicken and the pork. I enjoy the flavor of both and both are always well cooked. I like that they have a brown rice option now for a more healthy choice (if there is any way to make this burrito healthy), but it is a little like have little pieces of cardboard in your burrito. Dry and tough. I also go back and forth between black beans and pinto. They both have good flavor and seasoning. The salsa station is where it is at. I load up with a combination of three different selections, the pico, the corn, and the hot. Each brings there own unique flavor and the hot brings a nice kick of heat and a sweat to the brow. I tend to skip the guac as it is a little on the creamy instead of chunky side for me. My only complaints would be the same for any Chipotle, portions sizes drastically vary each visit, although this one tends to be the most consistent of any I have visited and the staff is not always the friendliest. Not rude or mean at all, just focused on task and not on hospitality. Trade off to the fast moving line.

I've become an addict of Chipotle. They can work with my need for Gluten Free food AND the food tastes good! When I go in now, they see me and automatically start changing their gloves, washing their hands, and prepping to be the only server touching my food! My husband likes the food spicy with all the trimmings, I've always been a Taco Bell type of girl. But Chipotle takes care of both of us without any fuss. There is normally a long wait if you go in anywhere near the lunch or dinner time, but it's worth it. We try to go in during the mid-afternoon to avoid the rush. The service is great. Love the assembly line that my husband's food goes down .. and the fact that mine is taken care of individually. And when they deal with me, it's always a smile and never an inconvenience.

This is your standard Chipotle, but the staff here makes it a bit better than the rest. They have always been really, really friendly...more so than any other Chipotle I have been to. This place is often busy and the line, while quick, can be an unnecessary 10 minute roadblock in your immediate need for a carnitas fix. I use the iPhone app and order ahead...I just walk in, bypass the line, walk to the counter, and voila - in and out. Awesome. The parking lot...that can get busy, and often times I am worried I will fall straight to China on account of the holes.

Was a little hesitant to try this location out due to the list of 1/2 star reviews, but I'm glad I did!! Ordered online, went in to pick up at the exact pick-up time, no wait, friendly & prompt service, food was ready to go, and now I'm in my hotel room pigging out on my steak burrito bowl!! Happy California girl I am.

Don't get me wrong, I love Chipotle. But this location in particular has let me down the last couple times I've gone in. East Olathe Chipotle, I love you, but as soon as you started advertising your app and your online ordering, you did nothing to support this influx of orders with your staff. My friend and I stood in line for over 30 minutes at 8 PM on a Sunday night. For a burrito bowl. Your burrito bowls are tasty but there are lots of other places to get a decent burrito bowl that doesn't take me standing in a barely moving line while I watch harried workers look at foot-long receipts of online orders they're trying to desperately manage as their flesh and blood (and irritated) patrons stand in line. I pitty you and I will from now on find a new location.

I like the chicken salad with dressing ($6.50) and drink ($1.80). This location is generous with the tasty meat, and the other ingredients are fresh and delicious. I find the service to be fast and friendly, with frequent smiles. It's a mountain of food at a reasonable price.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I am so sick and tired of waiting. Every time we order to go, which is supposed to go by quick, they take forever. This place gives Chipotle a bad name and makes me not want to waste and time with them, another location or the company in general. I will gladly take my business somewhere else that can please their customers with quick, friendly and respectful service.

Second trip and last. I love Chipotle but this one is the pits. The staff are in such a hurry even if they are not busy to listen to what you ask for. The steak was well done with no flavor at all and the fajita veggies were still raw with no seasoning on them.

Who doesn't love Chipotle? This location is always packed at lunch time but the staff is so fast and friendly! Love this location!

Don't go to this chipotle. I've lived .3 miles from this location for two years. In that time frame I've been to chipotle 100+ times (I go about once a week) but I've been to this location about 7 times and have been thoroughly disappointed each and every time. The staff is rude and barely listens therefore messes up your order often (each time I've been there). After my visit today (which a friend convinced me out was silly to drive 10-15 miles for a chipotle when I live within walking distance from one) I decided I will never go back to this place under any circumstances. Same thing long, slow moving like- here's a hint... If you would actually listen to your customers instead of half ass listening you wouldn't have to go back and redo so many orders. I was actually going to give this place two stars because despite the horrible service it'd still be chipotle so it's good food but I just ate the most disgusting burrito bowl ever. If you enjoy long waits, a rude staff and sub par cleanliness practices...by all means eat here. But here's a tip: make them change their gloves before they serve you anything they scoop with their hands. I've seen them plenty of times touch the register. Money, their pants then dip right back into the cheese like nothing happened. Edited to add: this is the worst chipotle I've ever been to but I still love chipotle please don't let this location turn you off of the franchise. The one on 95th as well as the one in the mall is great.

Food, as usual at Chipotle tasted great, but the portions were extremely disappointing. We all got burrito bowls and all 4 of us could see the bottom of our bowls in spots. I had to order double steak to make up for the half scoop I got. I suggest 153rd or 135th and metcalf locations...they load it up!

One of the busiest Chipotle's I've seen. I like that their food is usually fast, always fresh and a consistent experience. I love the salad bowl, it's a healthy option if you leave off the cheese and sour cream. I like to add the fajita peppers to it. Occasionally I have the tacos which are tasty too. There are some many options and combinations, you are sure to find something that suits your mood. I usually order online and pick it up. You get to bypass the usually long line and your food is ready by a given time. However at this location, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my food. The gal at the register didn't apologize and acted annoyed that I basically stood there and stared at here after 10minutes went by. Once it came out she started ringing me up then when I got out cash to pay she decided I was taking too long and started ringing up the customer behind me. I felt shrugged off and ignored. She started to ring up the next person and I basically had to step in front of them and ask her to finish ringing me up. Have no idea what I did to warrant this poor service. This is the first time I've had service this bad there. I will go back and hopefully it'll be good like it usually is.

The Boy calls this the "Olathe East Chipotle," because it is only a block or two from the high school & there are always teenagers hanging around here. Service is fast, nonetheless. Always good food from the predictably narrow menu, Chipotle only does one thing but they do it very very well. Don't ask for the quesorito any more, though, they stopped doing it when it became a fad with all the high school kids & it slowed down their finely-tuned assembly line too much.

I can't believe I'm giving a fast food restaurant four stars. BUT, I must. I eat here all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. Certainly, I'm not eating here because it's dirt cheap. It is, though, fabulous. The rice is always top-quality. The meat (especially the carnitas) is usually wonderfully tender (although, if you don't like spicy, carnitas or veggies are your only choices). The burritos themselves are filling (and that I am sometimes still hungry is a testament to my appetite, and not their size). Really, there's not a lot to complain about.

First of all let me clarify that I truly do love Chipotle. However, this particular one I have always had to fight with them on being stingy with the beans and the meat. I mean they really try to short you on both and I am just tired of it. I always try and give them an opportunity and never say anything until I see that they put maybe 7-8 pieces of meat on a burrito bowl. When I ask them to put more meat they always give me an attitude and it's very annoying. Any way my beef (no pun intended) is with the staff and not so much with the food. Here is my only recommendation on the food. If you like the burrito w/any combo of meat, you might as well get a burrito bowl as you will always get more bang for your buck. Not to mention it will be a healthier meal for you.

My kid loves Chipotle and could eat here every day - sometimes twice. His personal record is 10 times in 7 days. When I haven't stopped by in a week, the staff is sure to notice and always asks where I've been. These are good peeps. Not to mention the food - always stellar quality.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
