Hey, a Dairy Queen. I'll spare you the details about the food and desserts because you probably have a Dairy Queen close to you and you know what they serve. What I like about this location is how easy it is to access. The parking lot and drive thru are on opposite sides of the store so you don't have to worry about being blocked in by vehicles in the drive thru lane. Plus if the drive thru is super backed up, you can park and dine in with ease. The staff if polite and quick. I don't think I've had to wait more than a couple of minutes for any order. When it's warm out, this is a good place to be.

Wow! Stood in a very long line for customer appreciation day. I was expecting to be waiting a long time, but I was so surprised how fast it moved. Those people working there kicked it up a gear. They had two registers taking orders, and a fully staffed kitchen. My food came out just right, and my blizzard was the best I've had so far. The service was fantastic, I was pleasently surprised. I've never been to this DQ before, but I will be returning very soon. Thanks DQ!

The food is a 2.5 star considering all options in the area. For ice cream cakes - it's a 5 star - my favorite by far. Cold Stone and Baskin and Robbins are a 3 star on ice cream cakes in my opinion. For all DQ stores this is a 5 star. For Ice Cream it's a 3 star. I'd much rather go to Orange Leaf for a cold treat or Twisters Frozen Yogurt by Antioch and 135th St.

As a currently pregnant woman who had some serious banana malt cravings during my last pregnancy, I didn't realize how much I missed living near a Dairy Queen until I realized how far away from me one is! After a morning playdate at a friend's house (she lives down the street from this location) I mentioned my craving and she suggested we grab lunch here. I picked up two of the $5 chicken strip deals for us to enjoy. Not only do they come with a choice of regular or spicy (thankfully my little one can handle spice!), fries and a drink but a sundae too with choice of topping. Not a banana malt, but I enjoyed my strawberry sundae (and so did my son!!) and the rest of my meal too. It was a perfect amount of food without feeling like I was stuffing myself. Now I realized that the extra ten minutes is worth the drive to truly satisfy my craving! Sadly, other nearby places just aren't like Dairy Queen!!

I'm not really a fan of DQ. Never have been. Partly because I grew up in a place where they closed half the year due to cold. But I digress. As a result, I've never really gotten in to it since moving to KC. First, I am not big in to soft serve. I prefer even mediocre "regular" ice cream to great soft serve. Not to say DQ is great soft serve, but that may be an explanation of why I've never been a biq DQ fan. Blizzards are the best thing without a doubt, but some are good and some are "meh". The sundaes are boring. Cones are cones. They have a decent selection of ice cream cakes in the freezer. I have had food here two or three times over the 4 years I have lived nearby, and have never been satisfied. I just don't see anything that sets it above any other fast food place. The chicken strips are so crispy that I feel an instant heart attack, and the burgers are just so-so. There is always plenty of parking, and a drive-through for the people who are too fat to walk 10 feet to get their 1,000 calories. The place gets ridiculously busy when it's even slightly nice out, and I avoid it like the plague during that time. Don't get me wrong, as far as DQ locations go, this is a good one. Clean, friendly people, and as fast as they can be, so I give it 3 stars. I am just not a big DQ fan to begin with.

Good crew. Always double check blizzard consistency with upside down check. We have had several be too melted. They are always fine with making a new one with the thicker consistency, you just have to call them out on it. They also give away free pup cups, vanilla ice cream in a sauce serving container. Denali loves them, and he even recognizes the words pup cup. We don't ever get food here, just blizzards. And they are fantastic. There is nothing quite like it out there.

Store is clean and staff is friendly. Sometimes the service has been slow in the past, but today service was very speedy. On beautiful days, enjoy the patio seating!

I like Dairy Queens in general. The food is ok, but I tend to be a fan of the soft serve, especially the Dilly Bars. This location is your standard Brazier with food and treats and also has the Orange Julius selections. Typically I would give Dairy Queens in general 4 stars, but this location terribly lacks with it comes to the complimentary doggie dish. I have always purchased the pug small dishes until I found out about the doggie dish. Most locations give you a small dish with ice cream filling the bottom. This location gives you a little condiment cup, like what you would use for jello shots. I think the pug even laughed when he saw it. I don't mind paying for ice cream for the dog, just don't offer something complimentary and then hand me barely a taste.

I prefer this DQ to all others. I go here often and have never had a bad trip. I have been to really horrible ones (7th & SW Trwy) and ok ones (135th & Blackbob). I have always been a DQ fan. I love my soft serve. I do not like biting into cold items. This DQ has it all. Staying open late and hot eat/cool treats. They get my order correct. Zach G. I wouldn't say I am overly fat but I do love the drive-thru for my 1,000 calorie item because I am on the go somewhere else, as with any reason for a drive-thru. Kay L. did your date get hot fudge in their blizzard. When I order my marshmallow / hot fudge shakes they are little more melted because of the hot fudge. But I know this when I order it and happens everywhere I order it. I just get a smaller size and drink it faster. All in all, it does get packed when it is nicer out, which is why the majority of the times I visit here are in the winter time. No need in worrying about the outside heat melting your food. This is still my favorite DQ in the area.

They're open till eleven on weeknights to get your late-night sweet tooth on. Nonetheless, can't recommend. Sadly, my date's blizzard was so soupy that he ended up drinking it like a malt. Mine was fine, so I don't know what happened there. Plus, we were sitting at a booth talking (we were the last customers there) and they turned the lights out on us! No "Pardon me, we're getting ready to close" or anything. Just rude.

Fast food...dairy queen what do you expect. But the kids love it and it does fix my chili dog cravings every now and then. Super salty...just like how I like it! Ingress/egress sucks unless you're coming from the west on College or north on Pflumm...
