I love this location of Panera, it, at times can get really crowded, but the service is great, and the food is the way it should be, flavorful and good! I have been disappointed with other locations of Panera but not this one...not yet at least. Good food Good service Clean Clean silverware and thats all i can ask for. OH PS! In case you havent been for a while, they now have a Panera Card, kinda like a Chopper Shopper card, you have them swipe it before you order, and it racks points and then you get free food mmmm free food

Let me just say, I love Panera. Their food is consistently of good quality, it CAN be healthy - if you make the correct choices - and the service is always top notch. I have been to several locations around OP, Olathe and Leawood. Heck, my daughter and I even went to one in DC last fall - which broke our vacation rule of no eating at restaurants that are in KC. That's a tough rule with kids sometimes. This one is close to my office, so I go for lunch occasionally. What do I love about Panera? You pick 2. Cup of cream of broccoli soup with a side of bread and a Caesar Salad. Their bread is A-Mazing. Hard crust, soft center. YUM!!! I usually save the salad for later. Two kinds of Turkey Sandwiches. My daughter craves the black bean soup and the Mediterranean Sandwcih (FYI - vegetarian). This week I decided to try something new - going outside my comfort zone in 2012. I ordered the Thai Chicken salad. I asked the cashier if it was good. He suggested the Asian salad dressing because it is spicy and putting it on the side. It was AWESOME! I agree with him that the peanut-buttery or thick Thai sauce is usually too rich for me. It has edameme, my new fave food and the different salad dressing made the salad great. Even the next day when I took it out of the office fridge for my part II Panera Lunch. And no one had stolen it. Yay!!! Another thing to love about Panera is that they now have a rewards card. You start off with a free pastry and then you get things periodically for free. In the last 2 or 3 months I have also gotten a free espresso/smoothie and just received a free coffee/hot tea/soda. I love things for free. Especially when I was going there anyway. And you don't have to use them right then. I think the rewards expire in about a month. My husband and teenage son don't like Panera. They think it is too "girly". Whatever. You don't know what you are missing. I mean, they go to Sweet Tomatoes. What is the difference. And this place has better food, and takeout, and rewards!!!!

There are certain things I look for in a bowl of soup and a sandwich that has bacon. First things first? Steam. Secondly, a temperature that causes that steam to happen. Third, if I order something with bacon on it, I expect at the very least a reheated strip of bacon, no cold fat strips with virtually NO meat to speak of. Did I find any of that here? No. Not even by a longshot. If you know me, I always try to find the positive but my experience on this lastest trip to Panera started off, well, kind of strangely, and ended blandly. From the start, walking into Panera at about 2pm on a Saturday had me a bit concerned that it'd be busy from a late lunch. To my pleasant surprise, there was only one person in front of me in line. I found a couple of new dishes that looked appetizing but due to my dairy restrictions, I had to ask two questions before I could place my order. These are not hard questions but my goodness the gentleman behind the counter seemed confused. With a capital C. I asked him if a particular dish had cheese or cream in the sauce, he simply said, yes. I said, ok, then I'd like to try the Turkey BLT and a cup of the Lemon Orzo soup. I again, asked him if the BLT had any dairy and he responded, well, it has Avocado...and Mayo. Really? Avocado? That comes from the ground if I'm not mistaken. Not a cow. Moving on. I'm not a huge fan of Mayo-tho many varieties do not contain dairy at all, I was glad that he at least told me it was on there so I could order it without. One positive? Sure, he can have that one. I sat down and not one minute later my food was in front of me. Wow, I was impressed by that speed! I paused to take a photo for this review and dug in. One bite of my BLT and I had to take pause. This sandwich was cold. Like, almost as if the turkey had been frozen 20 minutes prior, cold. And it was in strange chunks that didn't have any flavor at all. I also tasted no Bacon. Only Bread, Tomato, and Avocado. Those are great tastes, but I wanted a big bite of Turkey and Bacon, not salad between two pieces of bread. I found what was intended to be Bacon but was more a white-ish strip of some unidentifiable white stuff with two very small, read tiny, stripes of bacon that were no longer than an inch across. Gross So, one bite into my sandwich and about a minute to inspect it when it left me wanting more, I took a bite of my soup. I gave it a stir and took a small slurp so I wouldn't burn my mouth. Seriously guys, this tasted like it was put in the warmer but the warmer was left off all day. Room temperature is probably the best way to describe this. I almost took my whole meal up to the front to have them remake it but with the service I had received to order and how confusing my request for no dairy had been, I felt that would be a dead end. Ugh. The soup had a good flavor so I ate all of that with my (somewhat warm!) whole grain baguette and left Panera, still pretty hungry, and with a cold taste in my mouth. I typically enjoy visits to the Panera near my house-not this particular location, though they are few and far between. I have to say, I sincerely hope that my 'usual' Panera will redeem the chain for me because if this sort of experience continues, I won't go back. Redeem yourself Panera. Please.

It's Panera. This one is busy, very busy most of the time. Brewed coffee is rarely fresh. Service is usually good. It's a handy location for acoffee shop unless you want to cross the road or walk down to Dean and Deluca.

went with a large group of moms with babies. remarkably, we found a table large enough to accommodate our whole group. I ordered a pick two with a turkey sandwich and thai salad (light on dressing) hoping that my little guy would nibble on both of them. he really didn't care for either which does kind of say something. both were fine but pretty bland. one thing I really appreciate was the service. someone saw me trying to get my little guy into his highchair as my food buzzer went off. she went to grab my sandwich and drink for me. then several came over to help us bus our table. I appreciate that they realized we all had our hands full and wanted to help us out. I think I definitely prefer Panera for breakfast/brunch! their pastries are yummy and the coffee isn't bad! will have to try both at this location.

Great location!! Having just written a negative Panera review, I thought I would write one on one of the better locations. This is one of them!! This place can get busy - being in Town Center will do that for you. It is well located between shopping, offices and a movie theatre, and the foot traffic is evidence of that. I like this place because they listen to your orders even if they are busy; something that many other Paneras simply refuse to do. I asked for extra apple chips on my Fuji salad, BOOM a pile of chips. Asked for my girlfriend's salad dressing on the side and... gasp!... they actually did it! You'd be surprised how many people screw that up! That's what I'm talking about! Their staff is friendly, their food is consistent and their seating layout is great. Overall a fantastic, convenient location.

I ordered a cinnamon crunch bagel as usual. And at other panera breads I've had to toast it myself in the seating area. The lady here said they can do it.... I got back into my car and headed to work... Got to work and opened it up, it was so burnt!! :((( cinnamon crunch bagels are the bomb!! But this one wasn't too appealing :(

Take out order comes back sloppy. Very sloppy. Everything looked like it had been punched by an angry employee in a new stress management technique. The other Panera made a much better impression.

This is a great location. I can't tell you how many times I've come to eat here after seeing a movie at Town Center 20 AMC theatres. The decor isn't as charming as some other Panera locations, and it's a lot busier than other locations, but there's always a place to sit! The staff is very friendly here and they do a good job of cleaning tables quickly. Some of the best menu items, in my opinion: 1. Bacon Turkey Bravo 2. Sierra Turkey 3. Frontega Chicken panini 4. Tomato basil soup 5. Fuji apple chicken salad Get the You-Pick-Two! It's a great deal to mix-and-match some of the delicious menu items :)
