I was so happy to see another great business start up on Main Street in Speedway, IN. Tiffany was our amazing server on our first Friday night. The place was packed, you could smell the aroma of the smoky grill out back, and the atmosphere was bumping. I did not realize that Friday nights is a great night to visit since they have open mic, "All you can eat" catfish, and some of the better brews flowing from the tap. I suggest the fried pickles that are breaded in house. Not too salty and the batter-coating is very good as well. I chose the "AYCE" catfish for $12.95, but I could not go back for more. The generous portion on the first go around was enough to satisfy me while I listed to Dean Casey, Kenny Havens (formerly of Boom Slang fame), and his talented side kick Jake Corn. The rest of our party had a thick, lightly breaded, "real" tenderloin. The onions on that sandwich were lightly marinated in jalapeno's, which was a great addition and unique twist. We also selected the fish sandwich as well. Some of the menu highlights are the "create your own" platter, ToGo by the pound, rib tips, and St. Louis ribs. I spoke with several other tables and each were quite pleased with their selections as well. The atmosphere was casual, tasteful and intentional rustic, and inviting. There is a small area in the front for a duo/trio to play, entertain, and exercise their talents while you exercise your palate. Quite a few flat screen TV's, a digital jukebox that you can download an app to your smartphone to select songs from your table, and a fairly-sized bar area make this BBQ joint appealing for families, date night, after work, or just a place to invest some quality friend time. I have to stress this place is KID FRIENDLY. I witnessed several families enjoying each eye-catching gadget to draw attention and kill some time while the service delivers food quickly to your table. Based upon my first impressions, Barbecue and Bourbon is in for a long run at this location. Owners: David Huff and Marcia Sommers have put together the right combination of ingredients with their staff, menu, and ambience. Some other noted feature is Whiskey and Wings Wednesdays. I love local, independent, and gutsy establishments. I am sure you will fall in love or at least a strong fondness for this BBQ haven. I even took a beef brisket platter home for tomorrow. Be sure to check out more information on The317Live.com .

This place has a great atmosphere, fantastic service, tasty food, and a top notch selection of bourbon. There's not a bad item on the menu, but I prefer the tenderloin or the brisket. If you're visiting the motor Speedway or anywhere close, you should stop in.

First time here, and not what I had hoped for. BBQ was simply ok at best. I had a sampler with rip tips smoked sausage and brisket. The sausage was simply store bought kielbasa threw on the grill. The rib tips had ok flavor but were dry considering they were finished in an oven. The brisket had little flavor on my opinion. The sauces were ok and the banana pudding is reminiscent of something Bill Cosby once sang about. It's not bad food. It's just not great food.

Delicious BBQ at a descent price. They also have a really nice draft lineup with yummy local brews. Try a Daredevil brewed just right down the street! One thing I really love about BBQ & Bourbon is the family-friendly atmosphere. The owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's places like this that are bringing Speedway back to life!

Anytime I hear someone talking about how good a BBQ Restaurant is I pay attention! I was told about Barbecue And Bourbon by a nurse in my Doctor's office. She said it was the best in the Indy area. Those are big words to me. We rode our Motorcycle from Columbus to Speedway to eat here and we really liked the area of Speedway it's in. I ordered the Two Meat Sampler with Brisket and Brisket, fried cabbage and baked beans. It came with a piece of cornbread that was soaked from the juices in the fried cabbage which was in a small bowl. It had over flowed. The Brisket was okay, the cabbage was good and the beans were okay. She ordered the Two Meat Sampler with pulled pork, pulled chicken, baked potato and mac and cheese. The pulled pork was okay, the pulled chicken was dry, the baked potato was old and should have been thrown away hours ago, and the mac and cheese was like Velveeta and cheese...just average at best. Overall, I would never say this is the best BBQ in the Indy area. It was average. I felt like $40 plus tip was a little expensive for what we had.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I'm not much of a drinker, so I can't vouch for the bourbon (read every other review to reassure you it rocks) But as for he barbecue - yes and yes please fast and more! The brisket is so great especially paired with their sweet barbecue sauce. If the president asked for me to take him out for barbecue I'd first cover up my Ron Paul 1988-2012 bumper stickers and then order him some brisket here in Speedway Also, if you happen to go on an all you can eat rib tips night, tell them to keep it coming. They bring out the tips 3 at a time, so let your server know often that you're "almost done with these ones." They are prepared so well that I'm pretty sure I've just convinced myself to go there tonight for dinner. Freaking screwing up my diet...thanks yelp...

I love a good beef brisket, and I'm always in search of a local place that serves good BBQ. Indianapolis has a number of great places, and I added this one to my list after a coworker told me about it. Located on Main Street in Speedway, I chose to stay away from this place during the month of May and instead visited on a quiet Monday evening in June. Inside it fairly small with the back half being taken up by the bar. We chose to sit outside and fought with the bugs. Next time, I'll probably sit inside. I went with a sampler that included sausage, beef brisket and pulled pork. A generous portion of each with sweet tea to wash it down.. you would have thought I was sitting outside in Memphis. The brisket was perfect.. nice and juicy and seasoned perfectly. Same with the pulled pork. The sausage was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was so delicious I don't think I even used BBQ sauce. I've been told they have daily specials that range from catfish to rib tips and everything in between.

Driving into Indianapolis I searched for Barbecue and was directed here. A good search! This place is in the shadows of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It is surrounded by bars and shops, racing garages and industrial buildings related to the industry of motor sports. I have no interest in racing but I'm glad I got to see it. The restaurant is narrow and actually fairly small. I sat at the bar and was treated like a regular by the staff and locals. I ordered the special - unlimited rib tips with 2 sides and cornbread for $13. Great meat. Tender, seasoned wonderfully and choice of sauces. The mac and cheese was awesome as was the fried cabbage, a side that should be offered at more places. Great bbq, very friendly staff, an overall cool experience. This place could hold its own if was in the competitive bbq market of Kansas City. Good job!

My aunt is in town & she treated me to dinner last night, a Monday. I was to pick & wanted to try one of the restaurants on Main Street. We settled on Barbecue and Bourbon. There is a narrow parking lot between this building & the next. Messy lines painted on black top made it hard to know just where the spaces lie, including handicapped. My aunt parked parallel to the building behind some other cars that had done the same. Front door SUPER heavy. There were a few tables on the sidewalk, but we thought it was too humid outside. Problem was, it was rather humid INSIDE. There did not appear to be any a/c on. As it grew darker, it seemed to be less humid or perhaps we just got used to it. We were greeted right away & given the choice between a two-top & the bar. It seemed like several minutes for our server to take our drink order & a few more to receive them. I asked about draft beers & she pointed out a sign I could barely see. She read most of them off & described them. There were maybe five in total. I went with the Goldie Hops though I don't remember which brewery makes it. They only carry Indiana beers, I believe she said, except for one. I enjoyed it, but unless you are prepared to chug, it will get hot, & FAST. It was too warm in there & my beer had sweated all over the table. Our ice waters had, too & we both had soaked napkins from wiping it up. Coasters would've been nice. Nachos for another table looked great. Our food didn't take very long. My aunt had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich that came with chips. Fries & other sides had an upcharge. Seemed to enjoy the sandwich & the sweet BBQ sauce she put on it from the caddy on the table. It just seemed small to me for price & really should come with fries. I had a dinner salad, the smaller one that is around $4. I asked to 86 the egg & cheese. It was basically a cereal bowl-sized bowl full of iceberg with a bit of diced tomato and green onion on top. Italian dressing was on the side. Used less than half of it. Dressing assuredly bottled. Overpriced & not a great salad, but edible. I also had an order of fries. They were pretty decent. Crisp & thinner than your standard fry. They don't load up your basket, but alright for $1.99. Goes without saying that a BBQ place won't have much for non-meat eaters, but I did expect more. I tried a little of each BBQ sauce. The sweet was probably the best, but a little too sweet. Hot wasn't very hot, but can't see eating a whole bunch of it. Teriyaki wasn't labeled, but I could tell it was soy. Only thing not on the table was mustard, but the server brought some over as soon as I asked for it. Good they had a roll of paper towels on the table for the semi-messy sandwich, as well as for mopping up the sweat from our drinks. BB is very small & shot-gun style. Restrooms were a bit hidden & too close to employee areas. It might be hard for disabled customers to get through here, especially if it were busy, so BEWARE. Dim lighting a plus. Strange jukebox where you pay to listen to the i-tunes on your phone. Bar seemed alright, but I'm not sure what all they have other than bourbon and draft beer. Couldn't have been more than four tables inside. There is a drink rail splitting up the rest of the space. Ladies' room clean, but the auto hand blower about scared the holy hell out of me when I was washing my hands. There were pieces of paper on the wall & a pen where lady patrons left notes, but I didn't quite get it. A pet peeve of mine is when the check is placed face up on the table, although she did place it in the middle. She was an alright server, but seemed to not be there when I wished she was & hovered a bit when not needed. It looked like she was responsible for the customers at the bar as well as some of the tables, but it really wasn't very busy. I won't be too hard on her though. Friendly enough & I don't know how many hours she had to work in that hot box. I wouldn't be my best under those conditions myself. I went up to the bar & wanted an order of coleslaw to take home to my dad. It was $2.17 with tax. I gave her $4 and told her to keep it. I am not kidding, it was this DINKY little cup. No more than a few bites of slaw. I was like "WTF?!" in my head. We laughed all the way home about it. I thought I tipped pretty well, giving nearly a 100% tip, but no hook up. I was really expecting at least twice that amount of slaw. Wasn't even up to the rim of said cup. I had just been thinking I was being too harsh in the review I was already conducting in my mind until I saw that slaw. No verdict on the taste yet. Barbecue and Bourbon had decent prices on some things, but ridiculous on others. Some portions are a joke! I immensely enjoyed spending time with my aunt and catching up. And I got more comfortable in there from the buzz I got from my beer. I doubt I would return. It's an interesting concept, but needs some serious tweaking.

Yelp's description of a 3-star rating as "A-OK" is a little problematic in this case. I'd be more comfortable giving Barbecue and Bourbon a rating that was "Just OK" or even just "OK". In giving it "A-OK", I'm definitely rounding up. But heck, they had good beer and Speedway -- though much improved, of late -- could still use the positive attitude. Which is why I went in to Barbecue and Bourbon with solid expectations and high hopes. Unfortunately, the food was just OK. The pulled pork and rib tips were a little soggy; the brisket was a little dry. And the "Pulled Beef" ... well, it wasn't really "pulled" at all, but rather, diced. (In other words, it was just the same dry brisket, cut into cubes rather than slices -- a technique that did nothing to hide the aforementioned dryness.) The Mac 'n Cheese was ordinary. The onion rings were good, though a bit greasy. All told, not bad. But Indy still lags far behind Lafayette in the barbecue department.

Earned every star for me! Stopped by for dinner during motogp 2015 waited for a while but then felt like they swooped me off my feet! $3 margaritas and dirty lemonades were perfect! All you can eat catfish was delicious! Fried or blackened, try them both! This place can't be described with words! The staff is super friendly and enjoy working there, makes the visit so much better!

We were not a fan! The building reminds me of a shoot gun home. Its long and skinny. When you walk in the front door you can see into the kitchen prep area. There is a large bar on the right and about 20 tables. We ordered the 3 meat plate with 2 sides for $17.99. We got the the pulled pork, pulled chicken and the beef brisket. You can tell the meat was all sitting in water or a liquid back in the kitchen. The plate was wet. The pulled pork tasted like water. The chicken was the same way but had a red liquid. It tasted better but not good enough to go back for. And last but not least the beef brisket, let it be know I Love Brisket! The brisket was cooked with green peppers and onions. And that is just terrible. The meat tasted like green peppers. I believe the meat should stand alone. No sauce. This meat needed sauce. I tried 2 of the 3. They have sweet, hot & bourbon teriyaki. The sweet and bourbon teriyaki was good. The sides we got were fried cabbage and mac n cheese. The fried cabbage was great. It had a ton of bacon and was really good. The mac n cheese Kyle compared to a cafeteria. Just an average blan mac. It also came with a piece of corn bread. It was ice cold. Straight out of the fridge. It had a good taste but was hard to eat cause it was so cold. Our waitress was very helpful and was helping us to choose what we want for lunch but you can tell she was just outside smoking a cigarette. She reeked of smoke. It just hit you in the face. When we left we had parked next to the building so exit the parking lot by the back of the building. There sat the smoker. Cold. Not even smoking. Makes me wonder how old was the meat that we just ate!!

Stopped in here for lunch one Saturday. I ordered the appetizer trio of sliders with a side of slaw and my husband got the pork chop dinner, which came with two sides. My slaw was an additional $1.99 and was probably 1/4 cup. Disappointing. Also disappointing that there were only two sauces to choose from -- hot and sweet. I went with the sweet because I don't tolerate heat well anymore and it was too sweet for me. The brisket and pulled pork were fattier than I expected. My husbands pork chops (more like pork cutlets) were kind of dry and he had to saw at them with his knife to cut through the meat. The special was a loaded backed potato topped with either chicken or pork. I wish our server had mentioned that, because I would have ordered it. But, nope, only heard the bartender tell the guys behind us after we already had our food. The selection of bourbon was impressive and they had some really interesting drinks on the menu. I'd give this place another try the next time we're in the area, although I'd probably get the sausage or something.

If you haven't been by Q & Bourbon stop by and see the amazing Noel & Tina! Lunch specials and dinner specials and right close to the track! You can hear the Indy cars from the patio! Margaritas are smooth and more bourbon than toucan taste I one trip. Not to mention the Q and sauce is remarkable! Service is top notch and good quality is above expectations! I had the loaded baked tater with pulled pork, and took rib tips to go for night shift food at work. I'll frequent more often! Come show love to this local gem! Barbecue, Bourbon & Beautiful Speedway! You can't ask for better!

I'm torn on this place. I'd like to rank it higher, since we had OUTSTANDING service (Jojo is great!) and because the place is cute...but I found the food to be "meh." (Admittedly, I have high expectations for BBQ.) Perks: this place obviously seasons & crafts their own food and they don't pre-sauce the meat, which is good (why do so many places in Indiana pre-sauce?) The service was GREAT. The drink menu was impressive. The fried cabbage was pretty good, although probably greasier than necessary. Downsides: the pulled pork & brisket both tasted like they had been dunked in a salty broth/brine & held warm in it. The texture also was similar to meat held warm in a crockpot, instead of freshly sliced/pulled bbq. There was a lack of visible smoke-ring on our pork & brisket, and a total lack of yummy bark. Although, oddly our rib tips had an over-abundance of bark, some to the "unchewable" point. The Mac & Cheese tasted like a straight brick of Velveeta with very little other seasoning or ingredients...but some may like that, I don't. I might give it another try in the future, but it isn't at the top of my list for places that I'm itching to return to...

NO "NEW TRACK RECORD" HERE... YET Barbecue and Bourbon has a good Speedway, Ind., location and concept.... It's just that their service, portions and prices were somewhat disappointing. Small (read that McD's hamburger sized) BBQ sandwich, out-of-the-bag chips and a soft drink totaled $10-15 with tip. OUCH! They may have been pricey, because they had a lot of employees on the clock (talking to one another and not the customers, which they out-numbered). Give them some time.... Hopefully, they'll adjust and improve.

Finally a great local BBQ joint. Brand new and going strong. My wife and I shared a 3 meat dinner and was more than enough to share. Brisket was great!! The "Dirty Lemonade" was even better. BBQ flavors are very personal and the pulled pork was a little bland for me. Rib tips were good but I can't wait to try the FULL SLAB!!!!!

The anticipated Barbecue & Bourbon On Main in Speedway is NOW open. Opened at 11:00 today and obviously everyone was just as exited as we were for a new restaurant in Speedway. An hour after opening the restaurant had a full house for lunch then a line of customers out the door waiting at dinner time. The atmosphere is simple, laid back, decor is what you'd expect for a BBQ joint decor with rough saw wood and galvanized roofing walls with a collection of pigs and water troughs behind bar. The bar seats approximately a dozen people and 10 dining tables with mixture of 4 and 2 tops. 4 local beers on tap Flat 12, Upland, Sun King and Batch 19. Menu offers appetizers, BBQ sandwiches, tenderloin, fish, and meat platters of various sizes. Pulled pork sandwich, fried cabbage and jalapeno cornbread are my favorites. The 1/2 roasted chicken dinner was tender, juicy and way to much for me to eat. I'm a fan of the hot sauce plus it doesn't over power the meat. The ribs were disappointing this trip with very little meat on bones, dry and overcooked. Yes, we understand charred grilled edges but these were way passed charred and as hard as hubby tried had to be tossed. The waitresses offered to replace but I had my food and we were tired. The owner sent his apologizes out from the kitchen. My husband gave them the benefit of the doubt being the first night and he'll give the ribs one more chance at another time. Me, not so much as I would have waited for them. Locals, fun small place, friendly servers and bartenders, nice place for a meal or hang out at the bar which is open till midnight. Kitchen closes at 10:00 pm. Only local beers on tap with Sun King WeeMac, Flat 12 Walkabout Ale, and Upland Pre-Prohibition Pilsner and a Pre-Prohibition lager Batch 19. Free parking on Main Street.

My wife and I recently tried this place and were throughly impressed. We both did the unlimited rib tips for $13 and were only able to put down 2 helpings! Portions are generous, the Mac-Cheese is awesome and the dirty lemonade you can't go wrong I do hope in the future the get a bigger place because with the business they bring in, it gets busy FAST.

A great place in speedway! Great service and barbecue from scratch. The 1/2 slab with two sides is only $10 on Wednesday. I ordered it and had the onion rings and fried cabbage, along with sweet corn bread, as my sides. Good craft beers on tap along with choice bourbons and old fashioned mixed drinks. The onion rings were obviously made to order and excellent. The fried cabbage was well prepared and tasty.

Came here with high hopes left a little disappointed. Place was clean and staff was very friendly. I ordered the baked potato with brisket. It was served quickly but the potato was so cold it would not melt the sour cream. The brisket, well there wasn't enough on there to really give it a fair assessment, maybe 1 slice the length of the potato and it was cold and very little flavor at all. I feel like I got here and the was still using leftovers from last night. Then my bill came and they charged me 15 cents to LEAVE OFF the tomato. This was a first for me. I'm sure this place will make it for a long time here, considering Charlie Browns just down the street has lasted with sub par food, but I doubt I'll return.

As both a big BBQ and a bourbon fan I was excited about this. First, the glaring "help wanted" sign on the door was only more evident by the 3 different, hurried servers we had, one of them rather rude who just passed us off to any help she could find. Others were fine but clearly understaffed for a Friday. So, servers and bartenders: please apply! If bourbon is literally in your name, a selection with more depth, or description for curious imbibers would make sense. Also, post it at the table as its own menu, or educate the servers better, I had to squint at the wall then basically toss a dart. Also, chipped, or small cubed ice scooped into a random cocktail glass rather than a whiskey tumbler is just a no-no IMO. The BBQ wasn't bad, wasn't great either, but I have great respect for the process of refining the craft. The brisket and the ribs were just a bit dry, some sections resembled jerky more than juicy, tender bbq. Pulled chicken way too salty, not sure how. Also, expected *baked* mac n cheese, not a cup of creamy regular stuff. However, the fried cabbage was a great highlight. The cost was far more than I'm used to, I also noticed that the prices photo'd here have since increased in a short period of time. I didn't expect to pay almost $50 for 2 dinners, 2 drinks. Finally, what killed it for me was the karaoke, I personally despise karaoke, anywhere, ever. On a busy Friday night at a place like this I'd expect some live blues, or at least just crank some relevant music rather than some stranger's selection of off-key progressive rock ballads. Brought the ambiance down a few notches. I have faith in bbq joints finding the right recipe for business, I really hope they stay dedicated to their name and continue to improve, tons of potential here. 3 generous stars for the effort, 2 very difficult ones to go. I would love to see them become a great, unique, permanent addition to the block.

I was very excited to hear about B&B opening in Speedway. Another excellent venue within walking distance. My family and I ate there for lunch and were very happy with the service and quality of food. The pulled pork was excellent. The BBQ sauce was very good. The fried apples had to be the best I have ever tasted. Even my extremely picky kids cleared their plates. Welcome to Speedway! We are happy to have you!

We came on a Monday at noon. No waiting. Servers are very friendly and knowledgeable! One of the favorites at the table were the stuffed jalapeño poppers as an appetizer. Beef brisket was the favorite meat overall. The St. Louis style ribs were OK, but we have definitely has better. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great.

It's the Indy 500 weekend and I'm famished while wandering up and down Main St. on a busy Friday night, when the most wonderful scent wafts my way. Taking some advice from my friend Tucan Sam, I "followed my nose" to a quaint BBQ joint PACKED with people. What to try? So many delicious options floating before my eyes.... Final decision: Pulled pork sammy, mac and cheese, with a spiral-cut, deep fried potato on a stick covered in spicy cajun seasoning (they had a really clever name for this, but it's escaping my mind now...). Hubby ordered the brisket and some mac and cheese as well, and we sat down to swap tastings and enjoy some really great food! The pork was tender, the brisket had a wonderful smoke ring and flavor, the mac and cheese was the perfect combo of sharp/creamy, and that potato on a stick was the most delicious and clever side I've ever had! Service was great; despite the insanity of race weekend they kept the line moving while churning out more of that delicious BBQ. They also had a great selection of craft beers to enjoy, as well as some extremely friendly patrons and employees alike. Good things are cookin' on the West side of Indy! In the words of some long-gone, famous movie character..... I'll be back...

Stopped here for dinner on Friday evening. I ordered two meats, pulled chicken and brisket. The dinner came with choice of 2 sides. I chose mac & cheese as well as slaw. The dinner also came with a serving of cornbread. Everything on the plate was just ok. Mac & cheese was a bit bland in flavor and so was the slaw. The cornbread was also bland and crumbled easily. The chicken and brisket were good, not too dry. They offer two sauces, hot and sweet. I was happy to use a little bit of both sauces on the meats. I suppose if I lived nearby I would stop in here for a beer. They have a few good, local brews but with many other choices in and around the city to dine I probably won't return to this place.

Very cute place. Love that there is a new restaurant on Main Street and that the food is pretty good. Beware the nachos have that slimy nacho-chemical-crapola but the beef brisket was tender, the full slab of ribs was tasty. Food: 3/5 - Just can't stand when you go to a BBQ place and the meat isn't cooked in the BBQ but instead is sitting in containers on the table. The "hot" BBQ was very bland and not spicy and the sweet BBQ was okay. Service: 2/5 - There were only a few tables in the place, rather slow, and the servers were pretty chill.. so I don't understand how the server brought out a full slab of ribs when my dinner date asked for a half slab and missed that he ordered green beans instead of baked beans. :/ Location: 4/5

So amazing!!! Brisket and fried cabbage will live in my dreams forever. Chicken was pretty good too. Didn't care for the rib tips. Cocktails were different but so good. Friendly service and a fun environment. From the street I was leery but I was pleasantly surprised.

Just Ok BBQ...ribs seemed warmed over and not fresh. The cornbread was inedible. Considering the long amount of time we had to spending waiting at lunch it was especially underwhelming. Add to service that was less than attentive (waited on drinks, silverware, etc) and I was disappointed as much as I WANTED to love it. In fairness, someone else in our group had the pulled pork and thought it was great so perhaps order that if you go. It will probably be awhile before I give it another shot which is too bad...I generally always love the "local joints" and am willing to give the benefit if the doubt but a bit too much to overcome. I hope they get it figured out and it was just a rare "bad day" for our experience!

I'm new to Indianapolis and found this place by browsing through Yelp. I didn't really understand where I was... the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was across the street, so I guess I expected something touristy. From the outside, Barbecue & Bourbon doesn't catch your eye and doesn't have any big signs. Once you go inside though, you're in for a treat. I went for lunch on a weekday, so I didn't get to try any of the bourbon they had, but it's very apparent that their selection is fantastic. I saw many bourbons I'm familiar with and even more that I've never seen before. I don't know how busy it gets in the evening, but I immediately pegged this place as an awesome spot to unwind at the end of the day/week. It's very comfortable inside. I'm eager to go back and try more of the food. It's exactly what you would expect from a restaurant focused on barbecue, but the difference is made by adding personality to the dishes. The pulled pork was tender and their special barbecue sauces were perfect and I can only assume the friendly staff apply the same care to the rest of their food.

I love this place. It's a great atmosphere. The first time I went they had karaoke and the second time there was trivia. The food is great. I recommend the glazed chicken breast because it's so filling that you may have leftovers, I also do. There mason jar margaritas are good as well. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The service is awesome and now I just want this restaurant back where I live.

Great food, and staff! It's their first day of business so they were out of some things that were on the menu and not all of their beer taps were up and running. Not every opening is perfect I suppose. Very small footprint inside, just a handful of seats at the bar. I would have given 5 stars, but waiting 30 min for a sandwich and chips is not fun. Not sure if I showed up at the wrong time or what. Will be back for dinner to try something else...

We went the second day it was open. I ordered the chicken plate and my hubs got the ribs. Both dinners were fabulous! My one and only problem was that I ordered the fried cabbage as a side and it contained pork. I take part responsibility because when am I going to learn to ask if there is there is meat seasoning. I don't eat pork and beef. The digital juke box was fun. The ambiance perfect. And the wait staff friendly. We will be going back. Good luck to the owners and I wish for a long successful operation.

Excellent ribs!!! Dry rub is used and then you add sweet or hot sauce to your taste. The slaw and onion rings are made daily and are outstanding. Limited seating but enjoy a bourbon while you wait. Definitely worth a visit.
