RED BEANS AND RICE......for NO other reason than those 4 words is Popeyes a must stop.........ok biscuits too.......oh and thier onion rings...... havent even talked about the chicken yet.....ya ya ya fried chicken......but OMG Popeyes is the best......the spicy is perfect....i dont think i have ever had bad chicken at Popeyes.....never greasy, always crispy....moist inside...... oh and i forgot the Tuesday special..... $2.99 two piece chicken, biscuit and small side...... did i mention RED BEANS AND RICE b4 ? of course everyday is $1.99 two piece and a biscuit ( not too be confused with the band *3 piece and a biscuit*.... i did mention thier RED BEANS AND RICE didnt i ? :-) im not FROM new orleans or anywhere close to louisiana....and my mom never made red beans and rice when i was growing up.....but somehow it has become MY comfort food.....and popeyes has some of the best i have ever had..... creamy...tender red beans......right amount of smoke flavor....its a foodgasm just waiting to happen......its no wonder year after year a fast food place wins reader polls in New Orleans for *best red beans and rice*... some outlets have a few downfalls once in awhile.....but over all 99% of all popeyes have come thru with flying colors..... did i mention the chicken??

Now this is how a fast-food restaurant is supposed to be run, I have never seen a Popeye's run so efficiently as I have this time. From the time, I walked in the door I see professionalism by being properly greeted and a representative ready to receive my order. My chicken order was delivered hot and correct in a manner of minutes. The establishment was immaculate, not a thing was out of place. The thing that impressed me the most was the lobby music was at an appropriate level. It was sufficient for dinning. Trust me I will be back!

If you want old chicken that been sitting under the lamps, if you want poor service then this is the place for you. Before this Popeyes closed and reopened Ioved it. Now, I will never eat there again. So many other places with good fresh chicken.

A big shout out to this Popeyes. Went there today for lunch and they were busy. It took about 5 minutes to take my order which was fine. The manager explained it would take 10 minutes for our order which again was fine. She gave us 2 cups for a free drink while we waited. Since we ordered a 10 piece meal, we didn't get one large container which was ok. Because of our wait, we also received extra pieces of chicken at no charge. Now that's the way to treat a customer.

The owner needs to train the employees on how to run a restaurant beginning with knowledge of the menu. I recommend deveining the shrimp before frying it. The entrance was full of standing water. (An accident waiting to happen.) My family likes Popeye's but we have not been to one that is efficiently operated.

Slow and unprofessional. I understand that it's a fast food restaurant, but there should be a level of professionalism if you are going to work with the public. I went through the drive thru to place my order. As I pulled up and the person asked for my order, I politely asked them to give me a minute since my fiance was deciding what to order. Not even 10 seconds later, she asked me what is my order. So I order my meal and a guy comes on and say sorry, we're out of that and out of a few of the sauces. I changed my order and accidentally said my previous order and some smart a$$ lady came on and said in a really nasty way "I SAID WE DONT HAVE ANY". Seriously? Then as we were finishing our order, she says oh we do have some. Now I'm a let go and let God type of person but why is it that when I pulled to the window, I noticed a sign about a new dish that's coming soon and when I asked the guy at the window about it, he snapped back that it's not out yet. I didn't ask to order it, I was curious about the seasoning. And not to mention he gave me the wrong receipt. I went in to get the correct one and the people standing in line even looked irritated. I went back to my vehicle to wait for my food then finally a guy brought it out but forgot my pops. He told me that the pop with the nub pushed in was mine, not true. Once we got home, we soon realized that they mixed up our sides, mine was in my fiance's meal and vice versa as well as our pops. The cole slaw was nasty, the buscuits looked smashed, the tenders weren't even whole pieces, they were pieces of pieces! My green beans were just warm which made the juice gelatinous . What kind of cookie cutter operation are these people running? We went there once before two years and vowed never to go back but this is the closet one. I like Popeyes but hate the lack of customer service and tact at this location. Words from the wise, don't piss of people who know where you work. You never know what kind of mood they're in or who they are. Treat customers the way you want to be treated or quit if don't like your job, don't take it out on customers. I'm stepping off my soapbox now.

I don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about, I went there last month and they told me they don't participate in the 2.99 Tuesday special...If you don't believe me, call! Other than that, the food is good...
