Amazing, delicious, authentic. I went with my Vietnamese parents and Vietnamese graduate students, and it is the best around. Everything is delicious. I dislike restaurant pho (homemade is always better), but this is definitely the best I've had so far. Also, feel free to explore other things on the menu. The Hu Tieu Kho is fantastic, the Banh Mi is a pretty good meal if you aren't TOO hungry, the Bun Bo Hue was praised by my Viet grad friend as being better than any they've had in Vietnam (food quality here is a bit better). Yum, I have to resist going here more than once a week.

So close to a four star but for the fact that most of the previous yelps are similar to what I experienced. Things need to be fixed. Its frustrating that that the owner either doesn't read or doesn't care about yelp reviews. With a few minor tweaks, Bowl of Pho could easily be 5-star worthy. Service is still not where it needs to be. Having a "Please wait to be seated" sign without a hostess is just dumb. I had a great view of the front door and noticed that every party that came in stood for several minutes without being acknowledged. I noticed several groups that gave up and left. My party of five was directed to a table by a waiter that looked up while bussing a table. Soooo... No hostess, no bussers, no manager? A restaurant staffed with nothing but waiters and cooks translates to great food and crappy service. Slow to be seated, slow to get water to the table, slow to bring menus, slow to take our orders. Two meals came out and then...nothing. I turn around and I see our waiter taking orders from an eight-top. Dude, WTF? After five minutes of being tempted by the smells of the first two meals, my food finally arrived. I really liked the classic pho and my wife and daughter each enjoyed the vegetarian pho. I also like the fact that chopsticks are given without request. I don't plan on returning anytime soon, the food is good but its not worth the frustration.

Service SUCKs!!!!!! I like the food but a bowl of pho which is fresh UNCOOKED food with broth does not take 45 minutes I called ahead and told them when to have it ready. FAILED!!!! Guys Great Pho Get your service act together and I'll try you again.

I love this place! Excellent food and service! Menu has a good variety of choices. Vegetarian and vegan options. :-) I had the vegetarian curry and it was delicious!

Happened to be at Mishawaka & were craving for some good pho. This place was busy and we had to wait to be seated. Not too bad. 10 minutes. First, the "all the way" pho was just ok. It wasn't mind blowing but it wasn't bad either. It was enough to satisfy our cravings. The things that blew our tastebuds were the grilled lemongrass chicken & egg $9.50 that we ordered for the boys to share. It was so darn good. The little boys loved it. It's a pity that they were stingy with the chicken portion. We also ordered grilled chicken banh mi. The best ever!! Dare I say that it was better than the Banh Mi Boys we had in Toronto! It was simple but it was a darn good baguette that was soft & crusty at the same time & paired with fresh pickles of radish & carrots. I wished my tummy was bigger so I could order another one! Don't forget to order the obiquitous bubble teas to go with the meals.

Service not great Forgot coconut water and chili paste Wouldn't give us grilled tofu Springrolls Too much lettuce Not wrapped tight enough- fell apart way too easily Pho Pure broth Great lunch deal Add ons Shrimp really really good in pho $3 add on Ebi we think Sushi grade Quality ingredients and recipes are great but it didn't seem like the execution was there. This may be because we came in first thing in the morning-- perhaps the main staff and chefs don't come in until the afternoon. We will definitely check it out again and give it another chance for the great lunch specials, but those springrolls need some work! For springrolls, we will continue to go to creasian

I have heard from friends that they have delicious sandwiches. The bread they use is excellent and the ingredients are fresh. I pretty much always get the pho. The broth is well flavored. The meats are delicious. They give you bean sprouts, basil, a lime wedge, and some hot pepper slices. The bowl is huge and I hardly ever finish it. Just writing this review has me craving some pho! The avocado rolls are super fresh and tasty. I have also enjoyed the lemongrass chicken and their spicy fried rice. I always go back to the pho, though! My various friends who eat with me have ordered a wide range of dishes and never had a bad one. This place easily rivals any other pho restaurant I have eaten at, and I have traveled quite a bit. I eat here at least once a week and it is consistently excellent.

I had the beef stew soup and it came with a baguette. Excellent place to go if you want awesome soup. Service sucked a little, but I can tolerate crappy service for a good bowl of soup. :)

Food is good, but SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Servered a wrong food and blamed on customers. When we were about to leave, the server came and apologized becuase SHE WANTED A TIP. Also the owner seems does not care how awful servers he has. All my friends stop going there becuase of BAD SERVICE.

The pho is good! Not the best I have ever had, but it was still good. This place seems more authentically Vietnamese than Cre-Asian. Large bowls of pho for cheap prices. I can't wait to try more food here. There seems to be good lunch specials too. Bun bo hue: Disappointing. I prefer this at Cre-Asian. The bun bo hue here seemed watered down and less flavorful compared to Cre-Asian's. The size of Cre-Asian's bun bo hue is larger too, for a similar price. Mango smoothie: Eh. It tasted fine, but the texture is not as smooth as a smoothie should be. There were small chunks of ice throughout the smoothie, and it was just kind of chunky overall. It did seem to contain fresh fruit though. Maybe it was just a fluke since a friend ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie and said her smoothie wasn't chunky.

Food is not as good as before but it is not bad. Being the only authentic Vietnamese restaurant they jacked up their prices about $2 to $4 more now which bites because the portions are not worth what you pay unless you order a lot. But they have the advantage since there is not another place. Do not compare CreAsian to here either.

This place blew me away. I certainly did not expect to get such delicious tasting pho in some obscure area in Indiana. The decor is really nice, clean and casual. The broth was crazy good! Probably the best i've had since i've moved from seattle to the midwest. I was hypoglycemically hungry and the regular size was still quite large and filling. One down side is that it's priced a couple dollars higher than pho on the west coast, but that's due to limited competition. I also got the 3 colored dessert drink thing (che ba mau) - it was alright. Too much ice.

Living in Southwest Michigan, Bowl of Pho is definitely the best place to get your Vietnamese fix! Their beef pho is pretty good, it's hard to compare it to a number of great pho spots in California and New York. That being said, Bowl of Pho exceeds all expectations when it comes to decent pho! The broth is quite well done and is usually the perfect temperature to eat/drink immediately once it comes out. I often find myself having to unclump the noodles at the bottom of the bowl when it first comes out though. The meat is decent--I usually order steak, flank, and meatball. I have a number of vegetarian friends who enjoy the vegetarian broth as a substitute. Honestly, even better than their pho, Bowl of Pho's bánh mì sandwiches are the best! The bread is always great and the veggies are fresh. I recommend the grilled chicken. Sometimes, instead of pho, I'll get two bánh mìs which is basically the same price as a regular pho bowl. Surprisingly, their smoothies are pretty delicious as well! I particularly enjoy the Avocado Smoothie. Sounds gross, right? Get beyond how it sounds, throw in some boba (tapioca balls) and you got yourself a solid smoothie! Relative to other pho places, I'd say the pho here is slightly overpriced, but considering the area, I don't mind it at all. On one hand, the owner here is super friendly and very easy to talk to! You can tell he works his butt off to provide the best possible. On the other hand, some of the waitresses have had their episodes of indifferent service in my experience, but it's not enough to deter me from coming. Overall, this is a great place for lunch or dinner with friends, coworkers, or even a casual date!

Poor service, food and drink. Bowl of Pho was a real let down. I often frequent Vietnamese restaurants and this was not up to par with the others. The restaurant was out of most soups, duck, and the boba for their smoothies. I understand that this can happen from time to time, but it was a Wednesday at noon. You would think they would have someone able to run to the store to resupply the kitchen. The server we had was very unprofessional and did not seem to know anything about the menu item other than how to pronounce them. Our pho was watery and lacking in flavor. Other reviewers on here said it was the best pho in town and I feel really bad for South Bend if that is the case. I also ordered a mango smoothie with my meal. The smoothie was mostly ice and poorly blended. There were still chunks of ice in the smoothie when it was served to us. I would say that the menu is large enough that it is worth exploring a little more but I am not sure I will be back.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were almost hesitant to do so after seeing the recent reviews about slow/bad service, but were very pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was helpful, attentive, and we were in and out in exactly 40 minutes (we ordered an appetizer as well as two cooked entrees.) the Vietnamese spring roll, the lemongrass chicken and the house special fried rice were all delicious. If any staffing changes were made, keep up the good work! We'll definitely be back.

  • Chris B.

This is a great restaurant. I've visited it twice for lunch and the service is fast and friendly. They have a great lunch menu with a good selection of choices for $6.99 (as of the writing of this review). Also for a lunch menu the portions are pretty generous. I definitely plan on returning.

  • Zoe Z.

I go to this place every two weeks. Especially in winter, nothing better than hot pho and boba tea. The pho is really good! authentic and filling. Service is decent, although not great. Don't forget to ask for boba tea. It's one of the best that can get in south bend.

My folks took me and my fiance go out to eat at this place and I gotta say it was pretty good.

A small place that is easily overlooked makes Bowl of Pho one of Mishawaka's hidden treasures. The food is great, and one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. Also, this is one of the most economically priced restaurants, in my opinion. Although entrees are typically $9-12, I feel like I get more than enough food for the amount I pay. The service is consistently friendly, and I appreciate how they try to go the extra step every time I'm there. The only thing I would improve would be the boring tile floors and decor, although that doesn't seem to take away from the experience. Also, the good problem I've seen is their small dining room seems to be consistently full of customers, which means I sometimes have to wait a few minutes for a table to open up.

  • Case Y.

This place is not bad. I had the seafood pho and spring roll. I give this place three stars for two reasons: 1. I personally feel that it's maybe two dollars to three dollars overpriced. 2. Well the sea food pho was good, the spring rolls had too much lettuce. I would eat here again just to get my Vietnamese fix. They seem to be the only real game in the area for Vietnamese.

    (3)
  • Jessica B.

Love love love Bowl of Pho! It tasted very similar to the pho I have had in Vietnam. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I recommend the pho ga with the fried spring rolls!

    (5)
  • Brett W.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. I had the pho Tai (on the menu it says it is served rare on the side which I've never seen but, I always order it this way because the beef is more tender.) i don't recommend the super bowl (ie large) bowl because it was also HUGE. And delicious but, I didn't do it justice. The regular is going to be enough for almost everyone but the biggest eaters. My wife had the banh xeo which was HUGE. And one of the best she's had. This place is The Real Deal. Great Vietnamese food.

    (5)
  • Kem M.

Food is fresh and delicious. Service is personal and fast. It doesn't take long to feel like family here--they spot their regulars quickly and remember your "usual." I get the vegetarian bowl of pho every time. The layers of flavor is so satisfying. On special days, I add an avocado roll. My family gets the chicken bowl. Never disappointed. Crave this stuff at least one time a week. Well kept local secret.

A hidden gem stuck in an ugly strip mall. Fresh food. Great prices. Clean and cute place. Friendly, fast service.

  • Aditi G.

The pho here is super fresh and super tasty! Being vegan, I always get the Pho Chay (made with vegetable broth) with tofu and put a ton of siracha sauce in it - I love my pho super spicy. In addition, the Pho Chay even comes with a fake meat made of mushrooms which is pretty delicious as well! The smaller bowl of pho could easily last you two meals. This place is also dirt cheap (roughly $7 for a bowl of pho), clean and has super friendly service. Go get some pho!

  • Christine R.

Very fresh. Broth is delicious. I have never tried Vietnamese before. Love it. Will be back. Easy to miss the place on the outside but nice on the inside. Service was good. Large menu. I wish there were more pictures.

Oh my goodness- new favorite! Bun bo hue! If you can handle spicy- then get this. It's amazing! Also had the vegetarian spicy spring roll- excellent

  • Joshua K.

My go to place for pho. The workers here are friendly and the food is great. For those that don't like the beef broth, they have a chicken and vegetarian option. In general, this place is vegetarian friendly. I personally love the tofu banh mi and I haven't had anything like it anywhere else.

  • Sarah K.

This spot is absolutely delicious! I come here regularly every week and sometimes 3x a week! Their pho is always perfect on a sunny day when they blast their AC and especially on those rainy days or those cold snowy Midwest days! Service here always works fast as they can and are helpful and friendly! If you ever have their vegetarian spicy house rolls, you'll end up ordering it every time you go back! The pho is one of the best I've had, even considering those shops from Chicago! A total must go!

    (5)
  • Zeke G.

I eat here all the time! Being from Chicago I was so glad to find a pho place here! The pho is fantastic, the bahn mi's are amazing, and the vermicelli bowls are my wife's favorite! People who work there are friendly. Definitely try it!

    (5)
  • Mary S.

Pho-tastic! My first time here and it was incredible! I got the spicy veggie rolls and the classic vegetarian pho with an avocado smoothie- all of which was out of this world. For all the food I got- and there was plenty to take home, trust me- it was completely worth the price. Owners were friendly, causal and bubbly atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!

Coming from Los Angeles with a large Vietnamese community, I know what Pho should taste like. I would call my bowl of Pho "Sugar Pho". My chicken broth was sweet.

  • Paul W.

Great food, could use a few more workers. When we travel thru Mishawaka, we always stop here. Never had a bad meal but the workers could use a little help. Things get backed up when it's busy. They have some pretty cool add-ins for the pho, like beef tendons. Bubble tea is good too. I forgot to take a picture of the menu. Someone should post it on yelp.

We went for the first time on a Tuesday and returned on Friday, it was really that good. My husband loves meat with a side of meat, and I love vegan options, so we could both eat and be happy here! The first time we went they were packed to capacity and taking carry out orders, but despite being so incredibly busy they were very pleasant and I felt that the service was still good. Also, I requested a smoothie made nondairy and they accommodated my request and it was delicious!

    (5)
  • Jason J.

The Pho with everything was very good and the restaurant was very clean. I would have given 5 stars , but the service was a bit lacking.

    (4)
  • Will N.

This is my go-to place for Pho in Michiana. The quality of the soup is not always consistent, but when it's good it's comparable to the best pho restaurants anywhere. Even during the days when it's less good it's still worth the price. Other dishes are great, and I have yet to be disappointed by any of them. I like the place enough that I go there about every other week. About the comment on MSG: I'm quite sensitive to it and a higher-than-normal level would always give me a headache. I have yet to experience any headache after a meal at the place, so they must have not used it very often or very much.

    (4)
  • Chris V.

Always an excellent experience! Great food, nice people! If you grab a booth near the kitchen at lunch, you can usually hear the waitress light heartedly bickering with the chef; kind of an added dinner show bonus!

  • Eirene N.

I really love this place. South bend is lacking in good ethnic food, but this place is awesome. Lots of vegetarian options too. We come here at least once a week for pho on snowy days. Keep it up BoP!

    (4)
  • Jasmine R.

The only thing that is good here is Bot chien, Pho and bun bo hue are bland and tasteless

    (2)
  • Bettina S.

Yes, yes, yes! Everything I've ever tried here has been fresh, spicy, and delicious! Be sure to try the avocado smoothie.

    (5)
  • Lori H.

The pho here is tasteless sometime..i've been here a few time for lunch and always end up disappointed! I wish they would put more into making for food more homemade instead of over counter instant ingredient at the oriental market.

Update: This is our favorite restaurant and we love to bring our friends and family there when they are in town. They know us now and what we order, and know our family members. Amazing place and the food is fantastic! LOVE it!

We can't believe we haven't checked in or written a review! We've been here a couple times but left wanting more since we've had really good pho in California. It may not be the best pho but it was okay.

    (3)
  • Alan Y.

I guess I should finally write a review of BoP. I ate here on the very first day it opened and have come here at least once every week as long as I'm not away on travel. This is my home base pho place, you might say. I've been eating Pho literally, everywhere. I've eaten it in Vietnam, I've eaten it in China, I've eaten it in SoCal, NorCal, and I've eaten it most in Chicago in the Argyle district that is predominantly Vietnamese. I've eaten home made Pho from three different friends' moms all claiming their pho is better than the others'. They're all right of course. Pho is a religion among noodle eaters. Akin to Ramen, Beef Noodle, and the sacred noodles of other Asian cultures, it's comfort food, meant to be eaten almost daily, probably for breakfast or lunch or a happy hour bowl. Bowl of Pho in Mishawaka seems to understand Pho intimately. The broth is comparable to anywhere I've eaten Pho, and Pho is all about the broth. It's served with traditional pairings of lime, sprouts, chilis, and fresh basil and cilantro. You can adjust the savory levels with hoisin sauce and heat with sriracha as is the same everywhere in the world. The broth is perfectly clear, not cloudy...which makes me believe that they really take their time in making it. Probably simmers on a very low flame with the bones and other goods for hours a day. Lastly, Pho should be served and eaten in the largest, cheapest bowl you can find. Some Pho places use small salad bowls. You're probably not meant to finish it, but no one likes to slurp noodles from a cup-sized bowl. I have never eaten a bowl of pho at Bowl of Pho that is not their Super Bowl, with extra noodles. I cringe when i see the small bowls...and I also cringe when I see people breaking the delicate little rice noodles with their forks. Pho SHOULD be half eaten, half inhaled, and Bowl of Pho's Super Bowl allows for this transcendent experience. As I'm tacitly aware (but don't care) of the looks I get from people as my loud obnoxious slurping disrupts conversation....constantly wiping my forehead of the sweat a good bowl of noodles inevitably produces, I realize how great this place is. That the rude way I'm eating is not acceptable elsewhere, but welcome here...at least by the friendly waitstaff, who now all know me by my first name. I'm Chinese and haven't quite found a Chinese place in Michiana worth my time, but I'm supremely happy that BoP can make a good bowl of noodles. Thanks!

  • Alex M.

We have good pho before in southern and Northern California but this was some of the best I've had! We had the pho tai and it was as good as reviewed by others if not better. Flavorful broth, generous portions of steak, and plenty of add ins to customize just how you like it. Highly recommend it.

Soo good! First time there and felt right at home. Our server was super nice and our food was delicious. Definitely coming back soon!

I am not an expert when it comes to Vietnamese food, I have only had it once or twice. Last weekend I came here to try the Pho because it seems to be a really big food trend lately. The Pho here was delicious and filling. I had the regular size bowl which was big enough to fill me up and there were leftovers for a full meal the next day. I highly recommend getting the vinegary onions (which were basically just pickled onions) to go a long with your soup.

Love this place !! They are super fast, friendly and the food is fresh and tastes wonderful !

  • David L.

We love this place! My wife and I have been several times and I took my family there this spring. My family isn't very adventurous with food, but the staff was so helpful that even my family loved it. You owe it to yourself to try this place.

    (5)
  • Chelsea N.

The pho is delicious and the big bowl is so massive, you will eat it for days... The bubbly lemonade is also quite a treat.

    (5)
  • Bradley A.

For a vegetarian this restraint is amazing! The grilled tofu for an appetizer was great! I had the Spicy Basil Tofu over Rice which was to die for. The basil was chopped perfectly and the flavor was distributed well and the level of heat was good.

  • Alec C.

Spring roll is mushy inside and skin is oddly flakey. Beef pho broth has a good, clean taste but lacks depth. Overall very good but undistinguished.

    (3)
  • B M.

This was my first Pho experience and if it DOES get better than this....I would be shocked. I had the spring rolls (#3) with the peanut sauce. Very fresh ingredients in the roll and the peanut sauce was out of this world. I also had the beef pho lunch special. It was delicious. The broth was tasty but not so rich that it filmed up your tongue. The portion size was great. This will be my go-to when I am in the area.

    (5)
  • David L.

Good pho, if a little bit underseasoned for my tastes; then again, I'm not going to punish them for making it correctly (supposed to be pretty mild) as I just douse it in hoisin sauce anyway. All-in-all, seems reasonably authentic but I'll need to go back and try some of the rest of the menu to be sure. Probably worth checking out for anyone who needs a Vietnamese fix in South Bend.

    (3)
  • Jingli X.

Horrible horrible service. Waitress was probably having a bad day, or trying to rush tips before changing shift. Anyways it is a horrible thing to bring out the bill while everybody is still eating. And stop a conversation just to ask everybody one by one whether they are finished with their dish?! And the food wasn't that good anyway. I will never go to that place again.

  • Jinny H.

Ate here with a couple of friends today, who also enjoyed the meal here. We all got the pho with various combinations of meat. Coming from Southern California, I've been pretty spoiled by the proximity and multitude of Vietnamese restaurants, and I was hoping to find a decent pho place while I'm here for school. I am definitely looking forward to becoming a regular. I took off one star because the bowl sizes were rather small for the price, and because the tendon in my pho was a lot harder than I am used to (was crunching away to get some pieces small enough to swallow). Otherwise, everything was delicious!

  • Chandrea O.

In this area, there are not a lot of places that serve pho. Personally, I enjoy homemade pho the best. But when I want an instant fix, I make a stop here. The service is great, besides the fact that it gets quite busy and there is always either 1 or 2 people serving (most days). My favorite appetizer is the fried spring rolls. Also, they serve really good boba tea.

    (4)
  • Jeff M.

Wife and had noodle soup, fresh spring roll and vermicelli beef. All ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Service was very slow. The place is relatively clean and the staff was courteous.

Fresh! I mean, really fresh! I had an avocado roll as an appetizer. It was my first Vietnamese roll and it came with this delicious dipping sauce. It was jammed packed with fresh avocado, carrots, herbs and a ton of other veggies all rolled up in a clear rice paper wrap. I was so inspired, I'll probably be trying to make and imitate this same roll for like a month. I had a spring roll and noodle entree that brought me to tears... It was so good! It was stuffed with thin rice noodles, cucumber, carrots, lemongrass, radishes, leaves of something, and topped with two of the best spring rolls i have ever tasted. There was a large side of house sauce on the side that completed the meal. My simple description does not give this justice though! I closed my eyes with every bite trying to make it last longer. Excellent service as well!

Love me some Bowl of Pho! As a Vietnamese American, I have to say this place is legit. The spring rolls and peanut sauce are amazing and the pho hits the spot. Definitely the best place to get Vietnamese food in Michiana.

The best Vietnamese and Asian restaurant in South Bend. It's our standard "let's go out" place. Casual yet also good enough food to take guests. Wonderful options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Go soon!

This was my very first experience with Vietnamese food. I was a little overwhelmed by the HUGE menus and the large selection to choose from. I was a bit nervous about the dishes since I hadn't ever tried Vietnamese cuisine and wasn't sure what to expect. This is definitely one of those places you start with things you're comfortable with and slow branch into other areas of the menu. That being said, I was not deterred from ordering. The service was good. We were there on mothers day and the dining room was quite full (only a couple open tables). Our waitress was busy but attentive. She answered our questions and made every attempt to get us what we needed as soon as she could. We started with a Vegetarian Spicy Egg Roll and WOW the flavor was delicious. We were anticipating knock our tastes buds off spicy and were pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't too hot. My friend had the Tofu sandwich while I had the grill chicken sandwich. Both of which blew me away. Ingredients were fresh. The carrots & onions were pickled in the most delicious seasoning!! I have no complaints at all about the food or our visit. I will be making this a regular place to dine in and take out!

Honestly, I'm a snob when it comes to Vietnamese food. Given a large array of food options, I will always choose Vietnamese, so long as I know the place is good or their menu looks worthy enough. Haha. Anyway, being from the East Coast where there's a large selection of very good Vietnamese restaurants, I had very low expectations for this place. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I usually find that the really good places have sort of their own unique touch, where they try to separate themselves from other Viet restaurants. This place definitely has that. They pay a lot of attention to detail ranging from their appetizers, to their entrees, to even their drinks. For example, it's rare that you find a place that will give you fresh and young coconut in their juice the way they do. Their fish sauce is also quite unique and quite good. Really a nice place. Quite unique and I'll absolutely stop by again if I'm ever in the area.

Update after my 1000th meal: Forget the earlier incident (which was handled very nicely by the way). They improved so much over time. Since my last review they have grown their menu and every dish I've tried there was delicious. This is one of my favorites places in the area. Also, while I'm not able to comment on Remy 's follow up to another customer's review here (where my name is mentioned), I'd like for it to be known that every single time my girlfriend and I have been to Bowl of Pho, he's been extremely attentive and has taken great care of us. He remembers us by name and is always very friendly.

My friend and I just ate lunch here today for the first time and WOW was it amazing! The place is a best kept secret for sure! It's a small but very clean little restaurant. Our waiter was excellent! Very attentive, polite and smiled. The spring rolls were good and the pho chicken noodle soup was amazing. Truly the best I have ever had! So fresh and full of flavor! I could have eaten the whole bowl and it was a huge bowl! I also heard they had good smoothies so I got an avocado smoothie to go and it was DELICIOUS! I couldn't believe it! These people know what they are doing! A must try my friends! You won't be disappointed!

A Vietnamese restaurant specializing in pho is definitely in order for those cold Mishawaka days, so I decided to check it out on their opening day. The decor is cheery and colorful. Your standard orange and green walls and ceiling with black furniture. I had the regular pho with rare steak and meatballs. The food arrived quickly, and tasted good, but the steak and meatballs were a bit sparse. The grilled pork banh mi was tasty, but again, a little on the small side. The wait staff was a little on the slow side, but being their first day, I'll chalk it up to first day jitters. I'm sure it will improve over time. The owners are friendly and eager to have customer feedback. I will definitely be back.

The first time I came here it was really good. Since then the food has been bland. I had a tje chicken pho and it was watery and bland. My husband the pork chop with shrimp and he said it was bland. The iced coffee is really good.

I work in Mishawaka, and bowl of pho is usually the end result of my shift. Their bun bo hue has quickly become a staple in my diet. The spring rolls are amazing and the service is great.

Yes! A Pho place in Mishawaka! I was so excited to hear about this place that my husband and I ran over there. I can't get enough Pho it seems but I've had to cut back since moving from San Francisco. But NO MORE!! We ordered the spring roll - really good! My husband had the beef Pho - Excellent! I had the Bun (cold noodles with pork and fried egg roll)... not as good as others I've had at other places. They also forgot the main sauce that comes with it and I had to request it. If you had no clue what the dish was, you would've eaten it and it would've tasted very bland. They also forgot my husband's iced coffee and it was about a 5 minute time gap between each of our meals coming out. I think they definitely need to work out some kinks with their staff and I hope they do soon so they make a good impression with the 'locals' :) Overall though, the Pho is great, staff is friendly, and hopefully they will get a handle on their service quickly - perhaps the place is more popular then they expected. We will definitely return for some more Pho.

The best pho place in town. Delicious pho, great/quick service, cheap prices, and really, no complaints about anything.

The spring rolls were very good. The pho was good too, but the meat was tasteless. Now, the service......NOT GOOD.

Awesome place. Coming from Chicago where great Vietnamese food is just off the Argyle redline stop I was hesitant at first but I ordered the Pho with Nam and was really happy and impressed with the quality and service! Go go go!

Bowl of Pho is a great place that you have to try. My girlfriend and I have been there three times now, I had something different each time, and never was disappointed!! Pho is like a big warm bowl of soup with plenty of meats and fresh veggies... Very tasty and great for a warm-up on cooler nights. Then there are Bun dishes served with noodles, Vietnamese meats (a spicy pork mostly), super fresh veggies and herbs, awesome spring rolls, and a sweet and spicy sauce. So good!! If you are not too adventurous with food, don't worry. They have an awesome Lemongrass Chicken with rice that me and my girlfriend love! Service here has consistently been good. The place is comfortable and clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Also, their prices are very reasonable. Five stars! Not because it's some uber fancy, high brow restaurant. Nope. But because it's great food, good service, good price, and offers something quite different!

I love it here! Everything is fresh and they offer a vast variety of really delicious vegetarian/vegan friendly items. Iced thai tea has a vegan option. Service is great, the place is bright and clean.

Just found out about this fantastically delicious place last week, its so good I've been back 3 times since. I officially vote this place best meal for the money. You can spend under $10 to walk out full and satisfied. The portions are extremely generous, the food is fresh and delicious. If your a fan of Asian cuisine and you like a hot bowl of savory soup on these cold winter days, then you need to give your taste buds a treat and visit a Bowl of Pho. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.

This place is awesome! The food is fresh and tasty! We order the Regular Pho with steak. It is Delicious! We also always get the Cha Gio Viet Nam (#1 on the Menu) fried spring rolls and the Goi Ngo Sen (#9 on the Menu). The Goi Ngo Sen is sort of a salad with shrimp, Daikon radish, and herbs! Very tasty and fresh! When they first opened, they seemed to have some problems with getting quality servers, and they changed out quite a few. Having been in the restaurant business myself, I know this is a common problem, especially with a new restaurant. I think they have this worked out now and our last few visits have been much better. Amy was our waitress for our last 2 visits and she is very good, I think she was waiting on everyone in the whole restaurant and she was doing a good job, no delays! We have been here at least 30 times since they opened and I tried many items on the menu, some I liked more than others, but all were good! Don't be afraid to try this place! If you are not sure about Vietnamese food, just order the items I mentioned above, you cant go wrong!

Though it's located in one of Mishawaka's infamous strip malls, Bowl of Pho is a great excuse to get an excellent dinner during the week. While the prices are low, the quality of food is higher than most other Vietnamese/Asian-fusion places in the area. I encourage ordering the rare beef pho and/or the bahn mi (with meatballs). The ingredients are fresh, the portions are huge, and I've always walked out feeling full and with leftovers. [And the pho leftovers taste very similar to getting the pho fresh from the kitchen, and I personally enjoy a meal that can be reheated to near-perfection.] They also have a solid vegetarian menu, and the spring rolls with avocado are simply delicious. Finally, on Wednesday's they have 20% off the final bill which makes it worth your while to eat here during the week.

What a great find in Mishawaka! My husband and I love Vietnamese food but sometimes it's a problem for me since I'm vegetarian. But no problem here! They have an entire page of vegetarian options and all of them make my tummy so happy! I love their giant bowls of spicy Pho and my husband loves their Banh Mi sandwiches and Fried Rice. Great service too with super friendly wait staff willing to give you suggestions on what to try, where to shop for good Asian produce, etc. Definitely on our list of regular places to eat!

I like this place. For the longest time I wouldn't order anything but the Vegetarian Pho because I liked it so much. Once I got up the courage to try something new, I discovered the delicious Spicy Basil Tofu. I'm so glad I tried it! I now crave it on the regular. Seems like they have good lunch specials, although I never make it there for lunch. Also, the coffee with condensed milk is really delish. The food is good and the price is right. The ambience is meh and the service could be better, so I give it 4 stars. I say go for the food though.

I felt the need to write an update. And I think anyone considering dining at Bowl of Pho should really take their service into consideration. I came here with my husband tonight. I admit, their pho is pretty good, and I had a taste for it. I didn't care for their service in the past, but I thought I'd give them another chance; however, when we walked in, we seated ourselves (as directed on the sign), and waited for the server to take our order. Three or four different servers walked by our table without saying one word to us. Not even a simple "hello" or "I will be with you in a few minutes." Nothing. Nada. Zip. They didn't even bring us a glass of water. And it was NOT THAT BUSY! For nearly 20 minutes we waited to be acknowledged. This is not the first time, either. After waiting and waiting, I finally said, "This is uncalled for. We're leaving." So we got up and walked out and went to Cambodian-Thai on Michigan Street instead, where we were instantly greeted, given water, and had our orders taken happily. I just want the owners of Bowl of Pho to know -- if they even bother to take the time to read this -- that I will NOT be back again. I have never seen such pathetic negligence of customers in my life. Also, we walked in while another couple was in front of us. They were standing there what? Five minutes, I'm sure? (I don't know why they didn't seat themselves...maybe they didn't see the sign, I don't know.) As we walked out, I couldn't help but notice they were also seated, ignored, and had no water at their table. You people need to start getting your act together. But it doesn't matter. I won't be back. And I won't be back even if our closest friends agree to meet up here. Instead, I will be sure to impart our experience about the terrible service. It's not like this is a one-time deal, this has happened three times now. I'm done.

I experienced bad service when I wrote my previous review but wanted to add an update since both the food and service have been great ever since. The pho and noodle dishes are delicious and the quantities are very generous. I take back left-overs from only this place because the pho tastes even better the next day and makes for a whole meal! The menu is very varied and people with dietary restrictions will have quite a few options to choose from. A great place for a warming bowl of pho on a cold winter day :)

Excellent little Vietnamese place! The smoothies are very good (almost a dessert!) as are the vermicelli plates and spring rolls. I haven't tried the Pho yet, but if it is similar to their other plates, it will be good too. I took one star away, because they have twice turned us away when arriving 30 minutes before closing, at 8:30. Also, I could do without the TVs in the dining area.

I'm new to Vietnamese food, but having recently discovered the joys of pho, I've become a fan. When I heard this restaurant opened nearby, I was anxious to try it out, as the name suggested I would find something to like here. I've been here quite a few times now, and realized I never voted/reviewed it. I really like their pho, better than the restaurant where I was first introduced to it. I especially like it with the beef tendon (no idea what the proper name is). The broth is amazing, love the flavor, the noodles are good, and all the combinations of meat are good. Why only 4 stars? I wasn't very impressed with the 2 types of spring rolls I've tried. That's probably because I grew up with Chinese food, and the Vietnamese version is different, and I wasn't impressed. Could be, it's just me though. Place is clean, service is excellent, servings are huge, though seems to be traditional from what I see reading about it, to serve pho in large bowls. Definitely will go back again and again.

During our meal, I accidentally dropped my water glass, and of course it shattered all over the table. What a way to greet a much-desired new restaurant. They happily re-cooked our meal and were very concerned that we had great experience -- all this even though I, their customer, was completely at fault and had no reason to complain. My fumble fingers cost them money, but they cared more about keeping our time there pleasant and making us feel welcome to return another time. As other reviews indicate, Bowl of Pho was definitely a work in progress early on, which is when we visited. Even so, the food was well above average. Better still, the owners were responsive to customer comments. They told us they were working on a vegetarian menu (though the few choices early on were certainly adequate). If you're out near Grape Road, folks, skip the Grand Bloat Buffets, the sweaty steakhouses, and the cookie-cutter trendy joints. Go get yourselves some tasty Vietnamese food.

My daughter is a freshman at Saint Mary's College in South Bend, and I spent the weekend with her to help her move into her dorm. Her absolute favorite restaurant back home in Phoenix is a little Vietnamese restaurant that we've gone to for over 10 years. Who would've thought we'd find a little slice of heaven in South Bend!!! We just happened to look up Vietnamese food, and, lo and behold, Bowl of Pho was the first listing! Happy happy! Joy joy!! We knew what we liked at our restaurant back home, so, we figured we couldn't go wrong with those! The House Special fried spring rolls were amazing! Light and crispy, with the perfect amount of veggies for filling! We then tried the Goi Cuon ( soft spring rolls wrapped with huge shrimp and vermicelli noodles), and were in love! The peanut sauce was perfectly blended, and made the flavors in the roll pop! For our entrees, we chose the Bun, (Vermicelli noodles with lettuce, bean sprouts, carrots, radish, and cucumbers) mine with an egg roll and a grilled pork brochette, my daughter's with two egg rolls. The main difference I noticed right away was that they used fresh basil leaves as opposed to the mint leaves I was used to in Phoenix. It was topped with crushed peanuts and was served with the house sauce. It was delicious!!! I'm looking forward to going back as soon as I can!!

My second experience was better, I would rate it as 3.5 stars. Food came out fast and hot. The pho with rare steak is good - the broth is still not as flavorful as I feel pho broth should be. But they give you tons of meat and noodles, and the condiment plate was much more generous this time. Pretty good value for money. My husband's fried rice was OK, but somewhat under-seasoned. But we both agreed that we would definitely come again. I'm looking forward to trying the banh mi and some other noodle dishes. Something interesting: We saw another table requesting vegetarian menus. If you're a vegetarian, you should give it a try since I know the area doesn't have too many restaurants that cater to the meat-averse.

Not much to look at from the outside it wasn't bad inside and can accommodate at least one large party of 10 or so by pushing together tables. The food was excellent and fast during a busy night. The staff was rather young not your restaurant professional but they were delightful.

Yum! We visited B of P after reading all the reviews on yelp and we were not disappointed. We're always looking for a new asian cuisine to try. Its in an unassuming building in the Burlington Coat Factory Strip mall on Grape. I had the vegetarian pho (pronounced "fuh") which was tasty yet not too exotic. The pho was full of vegetables and the thick noodles infused with the broth. I was hoping it was spicier like Thai food. I also was wondering if their pho was more Americanized to draw the uninitiated into something other then your stereotypical "Chinese". But Vietnamese food has its own flavour that cant be described. Its worth a try. I want to try the meatier pho as well as the bahn mi next time. The only knock was that the friendly waitress wasnt too knowlegable about Vietnamese food (and even commented she wasnt Vietnamese). But other than that, for a cheap filling delicious meal, we'll be back again.

The service was a little sketchie, I can deal with that for only being open a week. I hope next time I don't have to wait so long to get my food, maybe next time I will just call ahead. Other than the service it was great. This is my first time having Vietnamese food and I have to say I am hooked. I have no clue what was going on, but this surpassed all the other types of Asian soups I have ever had. I had the beef pho and I was a little taken aback at the meat coming out raw, but you stick it in the soup and it cooks (new to me, but what a cool thing). It was an explosion of awesomeness. I recommend this place to anyone looking for something different. I will be back, next time maybe a call ahead so I am not late getting back to work, I will have to change my rating if the service gets better.

After a week of having the stomach flu, I had to do my Halloween shopping, so i dragged my tired butt out of bed and headed to the Plaza where Fun F/x was. Lo and behold, after returning to my car, I discovered the best surprise of the day- Bowl Of Pho. I work in the Food and Beverage division of a Local Country Club, and we are always experimenting with Asian flavors, including those of Thai and Vietnamese. I went in and was pleasantly surprised by the Decor (Light orange and celery walls, pictures of flowers, a jade Buddha in the corner) and the amount of people eating there. Most of the people eating there were Vietnamese and were speaking to the owners and it seemed like a very Family and Culture oriented place. My Waitress came and gave me a large menu, which had the traditional names of everything, accompanied by an in depth description and several large pictures of quite a few items. I also noticed upon being seated that there were large bottles of Hoisin, Soy sauce, and Sriracha (Rooster Sauce) at the table, which is needed to properly eat Pho. I Ordered the fried Spring Roll, and the Pork and Seafood Pho, and after about 15 minutes it came to my table steaming. The portions are HUGE. I tried Spring Roll first. It is served with a few slices of Cucumber, a carrot and ginger slaw, and sweetened chili sauce for dipping. I made the mistake of popping in it my mouth, and can tell you from my mistake that these are home made, non frozen rolls, and they come HOT to your table. After letting it cool a bit, I tried again, and the flavors were delicious. Don't forget to order these when you go! I tried the Pho next, putting in 2 squirts of Lime juice, a few leaves of fresh basil (They bring you a plate with Bean Sprouts, Basil, and Limes as it is usually served this way) 2 "Z's" (Going back and forth in the bowl and making a "Z" with the sauce, Vietnamese friend taught me!) of Hoisin, and 1 of Sriracha. MMMM MMM YUM! The Pho was DELICIOUS. All the meat was very tender, the noodles soft, and the broth clear and very tasty. Just as Pho should be! If you are a foodie with a taste for Pho or anyone who enjoys Noodles on a cold day, you have got to go here! Thank you for making me feel better Bowl Of Pho, and Thank you to my wonderful Waitress, and Mr. Remy!

Love this restaurant! The produce is very fresh, the menu items extremely attractive to look at as well as generous, and the flavors are intense. Strongly recommend the Vietnamese crepes, the spring rolls and, of course, the noodles and soups. I have been going here since the day after it opened, and everything has been fresh.

If you've had good Vietnamese and Bubble Tea before, don't compare this place to that. The soup lacked the presence of meat. It was more water than ingredients. And if there was a place where I have had the worst bubble tea in my life, this would be it. The boba were not cooked right and it tasted more like a fruit smoothie than tea. Can't wait for a better place.

One step forward and two steps back is how I would describe my last two visits back to this restaurant. I gave them a second try about a month ago just to see if they can redeem themselves. I'll admit, it seemed as though they've made vast improvements in their service. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 and the staff was efficient and friendly, they were quite helpful with additional dishes for us to use with our toddler. I ordered their "Superbowl", which is supposed to be quite large, but I was a little disappointed when it arrived for it wasn't as super-sized as I was led to believe. Other than that, the food tasted good and I would have given them 4 stars for that visit. Now we are going to take two steps back. We visited the restaurant again this afternoon. It was late in the afternoon, around 3:pm, so the dining room only had a couple of tables of guests when we arrived. The hostess stopped by to drop off the menus and said the waiter would be right with us. My wife and I perused the menu quickly and pretty much ordered right away when the waiter arrived. We ordered an appetizer along with a sandwich for each of us, and we also ordered smoothies as well. At this point, a couple more tables had arrived. By the time the waiter returned, he was bringing out our appetizer. Mind you, we had yet to get our drinks or so much as a glass of water. We started on our appetizer, thinking that maybe the other wait person would correct this, but nope, they walked right past our table, oblivious to their surroundings. When the waiter arrived with our sandwiches, we still didn't have drinks and he mentioned that he will be back with the drinks in a moment for he had to make them. A couple more minutes go by and my wife finally gets her drink while he dashes back to his other duties. Another 10 minutes or so goes by and he finally has my drink made for me. Needless to say, I was pretty frustrated. Up to that point, we had been in the restaurant going on 40 minutes. During the entire time, the poor guy had to bring condiments to other tables, take orders, top off water, and make our smoothies as well. While he was running around with his head cut off, another staffer actually walk right past our table, on his way out of the restaurant and never so much as glances at the tables to see if there was anything he could help the waiter out with. I'll take a moment to add that it is rather amusing when this same staffer returns a few moments later with a Mcdonalds McCafe in hand. Maybe he figures that he had waited long enough for his drink? Perhaps it would have served me well to ask him to bring me back a sweet tea next time or maybe I'll just bring my own, just in case. I don't usually comment on businesses to their staff but I felt compelled to speak with the waiter. I made it clear to him that I wasn't upset with him, that he is clearly overwhelmed. To me, it just seems like the owners haven't the slightest clue with regards to running the front of house. There are no processes or training set in place. I gave the waiter some constructive criticism that he says he will channel up to the people in charge. Hopefully they implement some of these things to help make life easier on the wait staff. Its a real pity, because their food really was pretty good. However, I don't plan on ever returning to this establishment just to sit there for 40 minutes while I have nothing to drink. There were TWO additional staffers who could have stopped and at least brought over a glass of water, but that didn't happen. That didn't happen because of poor leadership! If the staff was properly trained, their eyes would be scanning the room every time they walked past a table. An empty glass, or in this case, a MISSING glass or two should sound alarm bells in their heads that something is very wrong. This could have easily been corrected by having the person that brings the menus bring along a glass of water for the guests at the same time to "wet their beak". So what if there are going to be extra glasses to wash. So what if you have to buy another case of glasses. What is your business worth to you?? Again we witnessed guests leaving without waiting for their food, some didn't even wait to place their orders. How many more customers can they begin to lose before they go under? If the smoothies are complicating your business, stop offering them in the mean time. To make matters more interesting, they are now applying for a liquor license so they can serve beer. Really? You can hardly walk but you want to run a marathon? I think the owners need to take a day, go out and see how the other restaurants do it and then reassess where they are lacking. These are simple things that have simple solutions but have serious consequences, like PISSED OFF customers who will never return. I wish them luck, and I wish them well. I truly hope we won't be seeing these guys on an episode of kitchen nightmares some day.

I give this 2 stars based purely on past experiences, but I will not be returning to Bowl of Pho. I have been to Bowl of Pho several times, including the grand opening. Every time has been a mixture of slightly slow service with pretty decent Vietnamese food (for Northern Indiana). The spring rolls were particularly good, and the pho was just ok. It satisfied my cravings. Most recently, my husband and I stopped in for lunch. There were three other tables, but 2 were completely finished. We received menus quickly, and when the server (Tarah) returned, she asked if we were ready to order. I said I was ready, and she walked away. Somewhat perplexed, my husband and I sat for the next 15 minutes with no sign of Tarah, who was the only server. She gave a box and a check to a table across from us and returned to take our order, apologizing for an unnamed "issue." We ordered, and while we waited, the Chinese family behind us were leaving. As they left, we overheard our waitress complaining about how "Chinese people were cheap" and gossiping with a coworker about the family behind us. Appalled at the lack of professionalism, I mentally lowered her tip in solidarity with the family that was sitting behind us. We ordered spring rolls. When they came, the server realized we had no chopsticks/silverware/napkins. We sat for 5 minutes. She brought chopsticks, napkins, and menus to the couple that had just walked in the door. We sat there some more. Then she brought our pho and realized for a second time that we didn't have chopsticks after we ate the spring rolls with our hands. The noodles were compacted in the bottom of the bowl in a large "hockey puck." After dissecting them, it was apparent that they were vermicelli, cut into approximately 1 in. pieces, rather than pho. They were clearly not sitting in water before being used (i.e. stuck) and they were the kind used in spring rolls. It was difficult to eat with chopsticks and were an unpleasant texture. There was one tiny piece of cilantro and maybe 6 slices of green onion in my bowl. The broth was also a much lighter color than usual. On tasting it, it was clearly a chicken broth with very little flavor other than salt - no anise, no cinnamon, no coriander, not even beef. If it was beef broth, I will personally eat my own shoe. The flank, rare steak, and tripe were all good, but they had skimped on the tripe. I had recently made my own pho at home (my first attempt), and it was miles better than what I tasted here. The server never came back to ask us if we liked our food (either spring rolls or pho). If she had asked, I would have been honest. I am pretty sure she avoided our table based on the funny faces I was making as I tried to eat my pho. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't pho. I will not waste my time with this place any more because I can get much better pho and SERVICE (!!) at The Golden Monkey in Goshen or Cre-Asian in South Bend. As a server, it is never a good choice to hide from a table that is clearly unhappy. If she had checked with us and attempted to fix the problem, I would have tipped her normally.

I've had better...in Chicago and California. Service was good, but the food was mediocre to okay. The pho was disappointing, not because of the taste, but it lacked substance. My favorite pho places piled on the vegetables and basil and sprouts, but here it seemed they were rationing to make the pho as minimal as possible while overpricing it. I decided to give it another chance and tried the lemongrass noodles, but that was a flop. It was small in portion and it left me unsatisfied while making my wallet lighter. :(

I love the food at this restaurant. The Pho is always wonderful, as is the Bun. Tried the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe) recently and loved it also. Ingredients are always fresh and well-prepared, and the wait for the food is relatively short once orders are placed. The restaurant is truly one of the most unique and flavorful in Mishawaka. Friendly, welcoming owners and a much improved wait staff. Definitely worth a visit.

I'd been looking forward to eating at Bowl of Pho when I heard it had opened. Being a vegetarian I'm always on the look out for restaurants with vegie options, and Bowl of Pho did not disappoint. You can tell that they take the time and effort to use fresh ingredients which always makes a difference. It wasn't too crowded at the time so the service was excellent. When asked my server recommended a dish. Without being asked she refilled my drink numerous times and the prices are fair.

So delicious its hard not to go daily. Every time I've been here the wait staff is super friendly and excited to tell you all about the food. The vegetables are so fresh and crisp here, I honestly don't know how they can get such good quality vegetables in South Bend! The Egg Roll appetizer (#1, House Specialty) is wrapped in rice paper instead of the usual egg paper, so it makes for a crispy but not greasy roll. Combine that with the fresh veggies inside, and you don't even feel guilty about shoveling it into your mouth as fast as possible! The Pho broth is very fragrant but hearty too. It will make you want to close your eyes and immerse your face in the steam and just ponder how happy you are at that very moment. I've had Pho from many different places and this tops my list.

Thanks fellow Yelpers for turning me onto this little gem... Had lunch here today. I got the Pho with everything and the wife got the Chicken Pho. We also had the Fried Spring Roll appetizer. I've never had a Fried Spring Roll before and must say it was awesome. The Pho was fragrant and the ingredients were plentiful. The service was fast and extremely friendly. I didn't have any of the complaints some of the other people had mentioned. They've probably been open long enough to iron out any issues they had. We left feeling happy and content. Give this place a try.

Had the veggie pho and veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce. Very good and an excellent value.

Just tried this place and am delighted it's here. Pho is not easy to come by in these parts. Nor Banh Mi, etc. I got the Fried Spring Roll and the Rare Beef Pho. The spring roll was terrific--with a shatter-crispy crust and very balanced flavors within, and a pretty standard but very good and fresh dipping sauce. I also found the garnish of carrots, onions and lettuce to be tasty and well worth eating alone. The Pho was huge, and the beef broth--for me the crucial element--was very satisfying. The shaved beef and vermicelli noodles were fine, and the separately served toppings for the Pho (Thai basil, bean sprouts, chiles) allow you to put them in gradually so that your huge bowl has just the texture and flavor you want all the way through. I also like that they offer tendon and tripe options, in addition to those meats that Americans more typically favor. My only partial misgiving is that it's several dollars more expensive than Pho is in big cities with lots of competing establishments. I'm sure the rent is not cheap on Grape Rd., too, even in these tough times. A great new place!

YUMMY Vietnamese food! Wasn't sure if I would find the real deal in South Bend, but it was definitely authentic. The menu doesn't fall short of offering bbq dishes with rice, hearty soups, smoothies, etc. I'm a Vegetarian, and their GREAT vegetarian menu, that was tasty and healthy. I also had their carbonated lemonade - really refreshing. Very personable waiters. Highly recommended if you're looking for a delicious meal for any appetite!

A surprise find in Mishawaka! Lots of awesome places to eat in town, but if you want to try something off the beaten path... This is it. Outside doesn't look like a whole lot but in inside is nice and clean. The food size is huge and the taste is great! I love pho and it's nice to know I can get some when i get home sick for real Asian food!

Love the spring rolls and pho!!! We tried the fried and regular spring rolls both were great. Plan on sharing the pho. Service is a little slow. But the food was good.
