Other than the fact I hadn't been to a Popeye's in years, this visit was unremarkable except for the guy two places ahead in line wearing the green 4/20 hat with marijuana leaves, COMPLETELY toasted trying to negotiate lower prices on his #8 combo. I think he wanted to pay a dollar for the $9 meal and I waited patiently for about 5 minutes while this episode took place. Guy immediately ahead of me says to cashier when he gets up there, "Well that was painful" and we all had a good laugh. Noticed Mr. 4/20 still munching while sitting in a truck and moving REALLY slow even after my leisurely dinner. I really wanted to give him my Mr. Mackey South Park "Uhh...Drugs are baaaad, mmkay?" but refrained. Left premises before he could wreck into my car.

Terrible service, terrible staff, dirty, mediocre food. Employees seem inconvenienced by your presence and are more interested in talking behind the counter.

I do love Popeye's chicken. Fried to perfection and never overdone or undercooked. Whatever you do don't go there without getting their buttery biscuits. They are heavenly! Mmmm! Now I'm hungry.

Maybe not good for you.... but damned good. I managed to wolf down the fried shrimp and a side of red beans and rice.... slightly healthier than eating a bunch of fried potatoes at least. The drink machine is out in the dining area, and they have Hi-C which is one of the most delicious permutations of high fructose corn syrup known to modern man. Glad there aren't more of these around or Jerry Springer would be cutting the side off my house and taking me to fat camp.

This is one of the only Popeyes left in the area, where did they all go? I love me some Popeyes, and their red beans and rice too!
