I ordered the cast iron meatloaf and it was delicious, all meat and veggies and little to no filler, it did not disappoint. The meatloaf was, however outshone by the sirloin steak......OMG that steak was mouthwatering good! No steak sauce needed. The five cheese Mac and cheese was excellent, a must try. The servers are friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. P.S. They gave my wife the most delicious, buttery, gooey peach cobbler, complementary for her birthday.

Definitely worth the visit. Excellent friendly service, a nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. My ribeye was cooked exactly as ordered and was very flavorful. The pork loin was tender and juicy with a nice apple butter dipping sauce. A very pleasant dinning experience, we will dine here again real soon.

My friends and I were at a conference in Louisville and found this awesome steakhouse across the river in Indiana. Without question, this was the best steak dinner I've ever had. The ribeye was so tender and juicy along with a perfect baked potato and asparagus. You can literally cut the filet with a fork; I witnessed this myself. The price is appropriate for the incredible service and incredible food.

I enjoyed this restaurant the service was very good and attentive the restaurant was clean. I was there with party of three all had steaks I had a ribeye my favorite cut 16 once cut. It was cooked to my liking but I must say nothing great in terms of flavor or tenderness. That seemed to be general remarks from my other guest. They are reasonably priced but I was looking for a little more from my steak

Great service! The steaks are aged and cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach is delicious. Overall we have never had anything we didn't like. If you are looking for an upscale steakhouse, but don't want to pay a fortune this is the place.

Had the new york strip and it was perfect. Their filet is also fantastic. Service was friendly and efficient. Only negative is the space seems too congested on a busy night.

Outstanding! From the appetizers to the desserts. A menu for all tastes and pocketbooks. A modest price with an upscale atmosphere. Visit once and you WILL return. Only suggestion is a couple of upgraded red wine choices.

We save this place for special occasions. Absolutely love everything about it. Best steaks in town. Ribeyes are excellent. Just wish it was easier to park when going there.

Been here several times, never a bad meal and tried several different entres. The filet is always awesome, pair that with their giant potato cake which also is fantastic! Service is usually decent, interior has good atmosphere, the only big complaint is the parking. It is always terrible to park as they have a very small lot and no close street parking, the food is well worth it though. Definitely recommend to others!

Sooo delicious!! But oh so pricey!! The food is flawless and the service is decent. The location is interesting and the parking lot is a bit small and cramped. The sirloin is the best cut I've tried and the potatoes are delicious. We always get my in-laws a gift certificate to here for Christmas because they love it so much. We would come more often ourselves if it wasn't AS pricey, so for now it will remain a special occasion restaurant. Try it at least once!

Food was pretty good and the prices were a lot cheaper than I was expecting. Also, there is a lot more to choose from on the menu than just steak. My steak was not cooked the way I asked, but since the waitress never came back to ask how our food was or if the steaks were prepared properly after we cut into them, I had to basically eat around the steak at the parts I could eat. I'm only giving three stars because the service was not up to par to other steakhouses in the area. The chopped steak was huge and the Caesar salad had great flavor.

This is our favorite restaurant in Jeffersonville! The steak and potatoes are great, but my favorite is their hot brown.

Cast Iron Steakhouse is a fantastic restaurant. We have eaten there several times since they opened. I have tried the steak, chicken, and fish along with about all the sides and have not been disappointed in anything I tried. This restaurant is a great asset to Jeffersonville and hope it will be there for a long time to come. Really nice to have a locally owned restaurant that is close to home.

This was our 2nd visit to Cast Iron Steakhouse. My husband had the ribeye and I had the hot brown. WOW this place was amazing. We were seated in the bar area. Our server the bartender was amazing, spot on on refills, making sure everything was cooked right, attentive but not intrusive. The food was cooked to perfection, (I snagged a bite of my husbands ribeye) the side salads were full of copious amounts of bacon, crunchy onion, tomatoes, and cheese this is by far the best side salad I have ever had and my husband was first to note how good the salad was (he rarely says anything about salads :)) My hot brown was one of the best, the sauce was not tangy. the bacon was fresh thick and full of flavor, and the turkey was moist and tender I also liked that they cubed the tomatoes instead of just laying a slice on the top. They also provide fresh baked bread with a garlic butter for dipping, I felt that there was a little too much garlic in the butter for my taste but over all it was amazing and warm. The service and food was outstanding. For $42.00 and some change plus 13.00 tip (included 2 cokes) this place is now our favorite steak house.

Delicious, well priced, unique menu. An off the beat spot that will make you seem smarter than you actually are for suggesting it.

If you are looking for a restaurant that has good steaks and cooks them properly to order, then this is a place to visit. The small size allows for intimate dining and the service staff is not overwhelmed. I enjoyed the experience and will return.

We finally made it to Cast Iron after reading awesome reviews. We went on a Groupon. I have to say it was not all I was expecting. First off when we walked in I was super impressed by their tasteful decor! They really outdid them self's for Jeffersonville restaurant standards. As soon as we were seated we realized we were in for a long trip because it appeared they were short staffed. While I understand this can't be helped I feel waiter should have explained. Biggest quam with place...music is so lame. A radio station. I think that is LAMEO! Nice restaurant, charging big prices and all you can do is a radio station? Nappy music at that. Food was ok...I got a soup that was outstanding, my shrimp scampi I could do better at home, steak was pretty good. Kid meals were horrible. Will we be back? Only because we have another Groupon. Kinda a shame because there is a curse on Jeffersonville restaurants.

This is the best out of the two locations, stay away from the Louisville location and visit the one in Jeffersonville. steaks are cooked perfect, service is good and the place is cozy. last visit was in November.

Diner from Indiana * Dirtiest silverware ever! Rudest & most obnoxious Mgr./Host ever!! Went there 7/13/14 (Sunday) for my birthday brunch. 5 of us went and 3 of us had dirty silverware. When we complained to the "so called" Mgr./Host he tried to tell us it was because they missed "polishing" it. We told him polishing had nothing to do with the hunks of hard dried food on numerous pieces. He became agitated, loud & rude. Not once did he apologize and acted insulted that we complained. He brought us more silverware and 2 of them were dirty. You would think he would have checked it first. Instead of replacing the whole set this time he only replaced what was dirty and again he brought a knife that had dried up food on it. We told the waitress & she replaced the knife with a clean one. Then my sister-in-law noticed that after she had drank half of her coffee about half way down on the inside of the cup was a large piece of dried up food. We showed this to the waitress and ask for our bill for the drinks & salad that had already been served as we felt that if so much of the silverware was dirty and with the coffee cup being dirty, no telling what our plates or the utensils they were using were like. So we decided to go elsewhere. Instead of the "Manager" coming out to apologize & try to reassure us this was not the norm, he just stuck his head around the corner and told us "Your ok to go now". Never an apology, never acted like cared. He was pissed that we had the nerve to complain. I was looking forward to going there on my birthday because I had never been there before and I guarantee you I will never go again. The waitress however was polite & apologized...the loud talking rude manager should take some customer service lessons from her! And they need to get a new dishwasher!!!! Unsanitary!!!

It was the hottest meal I've ever experience in my life it was hard to breathe it was so hot in there I don't know if the AC was off or its just how the place is. I read another local review non-yelp and it said the same I should have listened. It was cooler outside than it was in the restaurant. I got the crusted pecan chicken and I hated it. It was sweet and gooey on top and my wife said it looked like a cooked heart split open after that I could not eat another bite. My wife said her meal was ok and didn't rave about it and that is very unlike her. I was happy to go and sit in the car with the kids and cool off. I'm sure it was a fluke as the other reviews were all excellent but this was not my experience. The parking is a nighmare as some older people boxed us in and I asked them to move their car so I could get out and he told me I had to wait and I said I could call the police. He said some rude 4 letter word to me and parked around on the street while I pulled out. Good Luck.

Nice local place. Definately over priced. I payed $3 for maybe an ounce of bleu cheese on my burger. Hot brown is tasty. Sub par potato cakes

I really think most of the reviews for this restaurant are a little overzealous. It's fairly new, at least the one I went kept apologizing for the service saying, "This location just opened." My beer was served warmish, the steak was well cooked, and exactly how I ordered it. I have had some Amazing NY-Strips and I expected a steakhouse to show me something really special. My final word is that it is about what you would expect for the price.

Wife and I liked this place. She got the parmesan crusted Mahi Mahi and I got the panco crusted fish sandwich, which were both really good. Also, we had crab and shrimp cake and chocolate brownie with ice cream. All really good!
