They do amazing job on cake! I ordered a cake for my sister 30th and it turn out so beautiful! The texture of the cake is moist and sweet. (If only it could be less sweet but that did not stop me from eating it) They are pretty flexible and will make you happy. I saw a little girl minion cake and let me tell you... IT WAS EXACTLY LIKE THE LITTLE GUY! It was no awkward shape or color. 5 stars for sure! The cafe is just located right off the bridge and is so beautiful. You could smell the fresh baked goods! I had to refrain myself from ordering too much!

Husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday. Wasn't too crowded. We got the Reuben and the mark train and we each split half and half so we could try both. Both sandwiches were delicious. We got combos which was a ton of food and came with dessert. He got a giant pb cookie he couldn't even finish and I got a chocolate cupcake. I didn't care too much for the sweet icing but the cupcake itself was amazing. Real heavy and moist. One of the best parts of the meal was they had barqs red cream soda in the fountain. It's rare to find that at a restaurant anymore and it was amazing! We will come back again as a treat because it was way too expensive to eat often and way too heavy. Nap is definitely needed now.

My husband and I came here for lunch with a groupon and we'll definitely be back. We walked from Louisville to Jeffersonville over the Big Four Bridge to go to Adrienne's for lunch. It was a good walk - would have been more enjoyable in the Fall with less heat though :) Anyways, we LOVED the atmosphere at Adrienne & Co. Even though it was prime lunch hour time on a Saturday, there was plenty of seating. The staff was friendly, portions were more than I expected for the price so that was exciting! We got a panini meal and a pepperoni pizza - both were delicious. Cupcakes were great - even two days later after being in the fridge. I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu and probably even ordering a cake when I have the need.

Disgusting, foul and filthy are adjectives that spring to mind when describing the interior of Adrienne and Co. If you never venture to the seating section of this restaurant you might not notice how filthy this place is. The case was neatly displayed (though more than half the items in it weren't labeled, so how are you to tell what the heck anything is) and the counter was generally clean. Once you turn the corner though things go downhill FAST. There was a completely exposed electrical socket...no cover what-so-ever, MOLD and water damage on a wall that had been, not so cleverly, covered by a burlap coffee sack, the area rugs were unraveling and posed a very real tripping hazard. The doors to the back were black with dirt and grime. The silverware my husband got for his cupcake was greasy. The air vent was, well totally CAKED in dust--completely black. The entire place had a general air of neglect. The staff member that 'helped' us was more intent on discussing something with a co-worked than making a sale. The cakes I see coming from this place look spectacular, but the items we bought (and consumed despite my better judgement) left something to be desired. The red velvet cupcake was fine. Had a fine crumb and a not-to-sweet cream cheese frosting. The oatmeal cookie I got was completely bland. The only part of it that had any flavor were the dried cherries...any bite without cherries in it might as well have been sawdust. I wish I had nicer things to say given that this place has gotten high accolades from others, but the simple lack of hygiene in the place leaves no room for me to mince my words. We will definitely not return and I am astonished that they haven't been told to clean the place up by the health department b/c I shudder to think what the kitchen looks like (I didn't have the courage to use the restroom, so Lord only knows what it was like). Sine their cakes seem to be a big draw maybe they should consider closing the dining portion of the restaurant and focus on keeping a clean and organized cake bakery.

I would say my standards are high when I order a custom cake. Well they exceeded my expectations with both taste and esthetics. The pictures I sent them of the Minecraft cake my son wanted turned out even better with a few touches they added themselves. They also delivered in time and set it into place. Communication prior to delivery was also clear and they were quick to respond. Bottom line, the kids went crazy over the cake and the adults loved the flavors. They will be they bakery I use for ALL my cakes. I posted pics of the Minecraft cake. Thanks for making the special day even more special.

I haven't had a lot of experience with Adrienne & Co Bakery Café, as I don't make it to Indiana very often; but, recently we were in the area and decided to try it out on a whim. The space is sweet with delicious looking pastry displays as soon as you walk through the door. And by delicious, I mean seriously everything in those cases looks like you need to eat it. Need to. Immediately. There's a brightly colored chalkboard menu above those displays. It's easy to find once you drag your gaze away from the pastries. Once you locate that you'll see that this place has a huge menu. For such a small bakery/café, I wouldn't expect half the options. They even have spaghetti. That's right, you can get a spaghetti dinner, and apparently for $0.09 on Tuesdays. We were on an early morning bike ride, so we opted for brunch options. I got a breakfast sandwich (croissant, ham, scrambled egg, and cheese), while B got a breakfast quesadilla (two tortillas filled with bacon, scrambled egg, and cheese). I'll start by telling you that B's was delicious. Perfectly cooked and served with sour cream and salsa. I'd definitely go back to order it. However, my sandwich was inedible. First, my egg wasn't scrambled as I had ordered. Ok, no big deal. I'll eat it anyway. But then, the ham that was served on the sandwich was very small, as in not enough to cover half the bread/egg. Again, that's ok. I'm trying not to be too picky here. However, that ham was very fatty and had a thick casing on the back side that I couldn't bite through. I had to remove it from the sandwich altogether. Ok, so I'm left with egg and cheese. Still a tasty breakfast. But.. once I started eating I realized this sandwich was extremely heavily peppered. And I'm a fan of pepper. I started sneezing and my eyes were even watering. I dissected the sandwich and discovered that the bottom of the egg was actually black. I took my butter knife and racked it across the egg to discover and thick black film of pepper. At that point I was done, I couldn't go on. I wanted to like that sandwich, it had sounded delicious when I ordered it, but I just couldn't get through it. It's a good think we had ordered a doughnut to share. We split that pastry and it was absolutely delicious. I may end up going to Adrienne & Co Bakery Café again one of these days, and if I do I can tell you now I'll be going for the pastries.

Have really, really, good bacon topped maple frosting donuts. But, the amount of cream in their cream-filled long-johns is really disappointing. We dissected one of the cream filled we received: dropbox.com/s/daqqe1jk31… Overall, donuts are ok. But please, for the sake of our sad, sad, children, please put more cream in the cream filled donuts. :)

I'm really glad my friend and I stopped here for breakfast today. We were in town for the Forecastle music fest and didn't want to try downtown Louisville because we figured everywhere would be packed. Adrienne & Co was laid back (order at the counter, no wait service) but the food was high quality enough for a sit-down place. My friend had the Challah French Toast, and I had the Portabella, Swiss & Tomato omelette. Both were great. I tend to put hot sauce on everything because I'm a flavor junkie, but I didn't want it at all on the omelette. Free unlimited refills on coffee and *super* fresh squeezed OJ. It tasted like they had squeezed it right before bringing it to our table. Good spot!

I've had Adrienne & Co's cake at weddings before and was a big fan, so I had to check out their "regular" food today. I went in around 1p and was immediately helped by the cashier. She was very friendly, as was everyone else who I interacted with. For the food, I ordered the daily special--a slice of pizza, a side, a drink and a cupcake--for only $7. Not only was it a ton of food, but it was some of the best food I've had in a long time! The pizza had great flavor and a crisp crust, the potato salad was fresh and not too creamy, and the cupcake was just as good as their wedding cake. It was a little carb heavy, but you gotta indulge every so often! I don't know why it took me so log to find this place, but I know it won't take me nearly as long to find it again!

Yes, yes, YESSSSSSSSSS!!! If you're doing the bridge ride/walk, this is s MUST STOP! I think people get caught up with the froyo place at the end of the bridge or the confectionery place downtown....both might be good but can't even hold the "sack" (as in sack of goodies) that this place offers! I had the carrot cake cupcake which was out of this world! Thick, chunky, moist with a scrumptious butter cream frosting...(I'm drooling.....) Also, the oatmeal raisin cookie was soft with just the right amount of bite. My friend had the chocolate pb cupcake which was as dense as my head! Rich chocolate cake with pb in the middle, topped with a rich chocolate frosting and a Reese's cup for good measure! This place is a win and will definitely satisfy that sweet tooth, and some!

Great place to eat and enjoy the cafe feel. Amazingly beautiful cakes and MASSIVE cupcakes. Very energetic owners.

Portobello, ham and Swiss omelette with home fries and a deliciously sweet piece of breakfast sausage subsequent to a morning walk across the Big Four Bridge made up the better part of a 55 degree Sunday in February. With my butt planted on a leather sofa in the southeast corner of the shop, I enjoyed their unlimited self serve breakfast blend brew (#beanboyschat), while my better half sipped on a fresh squeezed orange juice. The quick service, made to order menu was quite overwhelming, but the server behind the counter quickly pointed out the breakfast menu and my eyes gravitated towards a savory selection of protein filled indulgence. To my right, I eyed a case of sweet treats, cakes, and other pastries, and to my left, a moderately full dinning room was filled with eccentric vintage and rustic-esque decor. The kitchen was quick to create our orders and the full plates of food were devoured in nearly 15 minutes. Needless to say, I'm going to have to enjoy the ambiance for a bit before our return venture to Louisville, else my stomach shall reject me. While it doesn't take much to please my pallet, I will be back to enjoy hopefully another pleasant experience.

Hands down the best bakery north of the river. I couldn't see going to any of the generic franchise cupcake cafes again. I had the maple bacon donut - AMAZING!!! I also had the croissant egg and ham sandwich. Also very delicious. Once you see the options in the bakery, you will be hard pressed to decide on what to eat. While you can certainly get an entire meal for under $10, I would bring more as the desserts are certainly items you will want to bring home after such an amazing meal. Robert

Used to love this place. Not so much anymore. I live close enough to stop in often and have noticed a decline in service and product The last sugar cookie I purchased was very stale. But the cupcake mess was the last straw. I ordered them for a baby shower. While trying to get them out of the unfriendly packaging the icing actually slid off the tops of the cupcakes. What's the deal with that? Very disappointing.

***This review is based solely on communication and a bit of service.*** My husband and I have been craving meatballs for quite a while. We have not had the time to actually make them for ourselves. Anyway, he went by one time the other day. They were open but not serving them at 4, but he was told they would be serving them the next day at 4. He says ok and leaves. He actually was unable to go the next day but the next day was on a Thursday so we assumed the next Thursday worked the same way. I looked on their yelp website and indeed they were open till 8PM. Perfect! My husband called them this past Thursday. Twice. He let them know he would be there at 4:00PM. The lady he spoke to said that was perfectly fine and he would be able to get carry out meatballs. GREAT. So, on the trek he went from picking our son up from preschool and head over to pick out meatballs up. He gets there, the guy behind the counter says we don't start serving spaghetti until 5PM. He told him that he spoke to a lady earlier who assured him that his 4PM arrival for take out meatballs was acceptable. The guy behind the counter was as surprised as my husband. No problem with him at all. The problem is, if you don't serve something for a window of time then don't tell people that you do. Then, have the front counter people have to deal with it. My husband was really nice about it though and went ahead and paid over $10 for two cupcakes. Honestly, at this point. I highly doubt I will ever come back to this establishment again. The communication needs to be revamped or they just need to serve their full menu all day. It would just be REALLY helpful when calling and coming in that you get the correct information so you don't go out of your way twice just to be turned down.

Adriennes has great atmosphere and is very casual. They have a broad variety of sandwiches that are delicious and accommodating. I teased my wife about being in her late 20s and getting a peanut butter and jelly sandwich until I tried a bite. Somehow, they've taking pb&j to a level beyond what I could have comprehended in college. Good place for a casual date.

We have been loyal customers of this wonderfully delicious Italian family owned business for 6 years. We were lucky enough to have Adrienne do our wedding cake & it's tradition to splurge on a 3D Star Wars cake for my son. Every year he picks a character & unique flavors. We're impressed each year of both presentation & impeccable taste. We frequent Adrienne's for lunch. Their gourmet grilled cheese & gnocchi are the best I've ever had. There's something magical about their red sauce. Their newly expanded breakfast menu lives up to it all. We're always more than pleased with our special trips here. Love local.

I have had lunch here a few times and everything is just OK. I never really feel wowed at any one thing. I will say, the portions are quite generous, I got a turkey sandwich once and it lasted me through until lunch the next day. A few friends have told me breakfast is better and that's where its at . If that is true, I will certainly amend this review. I also feel the pastries are decorated in a very heavy handed way, and not a lot of attention to neatness is given, so I dont think I would ever buy something to give as a birthday gift or office party. Or maybe they do a better job with custom orders? Who can say, but the case doesn't generally wow me either.

Came here for breakfast with a groupon. I wasn't overly impressed with the food and didn't think it was anything super special. I had a breakfast sandwich which was ok. One friend ordered the blueberry Belgian waffle and the blueberries were AMAZING. Another friend had an omelet, nothing to write home about. Wouldn't suggest coming here for breakfast, but their bakery section was great. We got a cannoli and scones which were tasty. Their cakes looked good to order for a bday or event. I also saw a sign advertising 9 cent spaghetti Thursdays, might give that a try.

I didn't eat in at the restaurant though I wish I would have had time. I did get sugar cookies for a coworker's birthday and they were delicious. Despite calling on Monday, they were able to accommodate my need to have the cookies by Wednesday and did personal decorations. I found them reasonably priced and easy to locate, would definitely use them again if I were in the Louisville area.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I had the New York Club combo, which came with chips, a cupcake, and soda. The sandwich: It was 'blah.' Not super flavorful. I've made better club sandwiches at home. The chips were store bought Sun Chips so no complaints there. The cupcake: Delicious! Being that it was a bakery, I had higher expectations of the cupcake than the sandwich. expectations were met. Cake was dense, but moist and frosting wasn't super sweet. I would probably stop by for a cupcake but I would definitely pass on the food.

Waiting for over a half hour still no food, do not walk into this place drive as far away from here as you can. At the 30 minute mark, a waitress asked me if I had ordered. At the 35 minute mark of waiting, they apologized and gave me a $30 gift card, awesome, I live in Michigan, I will use this never. Maybe I will try to eat it. I begged them at the 40 minute mark to give me my money back and let me go to Hardee's for crappy breakfast, they insisted my food was being boxed. At the 47 minute mark they gave me a refund and my food- kind of bland croissant sandwich, but edible. Potatoes were good, muffins were almost four and a half bucks each, very moist, but severely lacking any flavor. The staff was incompetent but nice, one bright spot was a woman, who even though it was her first day on the job, tried her best to help out.

Had their Mimi's Meatball sandwich for lunch. Unusual in that it was homemade meatballs with sauce and melted mozzarela on fresh spicy focaccia bread rather than the typical Italian sub type bread. Pretty spicy, but very good. Huge and filling, we shared one sandwich - but we both got dessert! Seeing my favorite retired Italian restaurateur having lunch there means it must be pretty authentic, right? No matter, we loved it and will go back. I love omelets, but usually make my own. May try theirs though when I get out for breakfast.

Mainly a bakery, you are greeted with temptation to forget having a meal upon entering the door. Before you are cases full of mouthwatering cupcakes, donuts, and scones, etc. However, if you have come for lunch, there are many delicious sandwiches to eat as well. There is also an excellent daily lunch special consisting of sandwich/ soup or pasta salad or potato salad/ drink/ cupcake for $8.

I've had a few great experiences with Adrienne's. Purchased cookies here for the kids on Easter and a red velvet cake for them on Valentine's day. We got some pizza by the slice on our way to Florida (they took forever to simply box up our slices). They make beautiful cakes as well. They made a wedding cake for the USPS wedding stamp unveiling in Louisville and it was beautiful. Most recently, my BF stopped there last week to purchase my birthday cupcake and they had just closed. They were nice enough to let him in to buy it and I'm so glad....it was yummy!

I WANT to give 5 stars and most everything here gets it. I love this place and their dedication to quality in almost all they do. Note: I've never had their desserts. I worked for a company that ordered lunch for a host of us on a quarerly basis which we always had delivered. After the second or third time, we just got to emailing the gal with our orders and she always responded within minutes to confirm. Food arrived on time, hot, delicious, super reasonably priced. The menu runs the gambit from healthy and whole to decadent and devilish. I've had the chicken avocado sammich (pre vegan days), the gorgonzola apple salad, the caesar salad, and a turkey club over the years. The one thing I'll say is my last two salads were pretty disappointing. I would not order them again, they seem to excel more at the hearty meals and desserts though that gorgonzola apple rocked me a few years ago. Service is exceptional, they go the extra mile. Everything is made from scratch, breads baked fresh daily, and her cakes look absolutely amazing.

Delicious! Had the Mark Trane sandwich. Cured meats and cheese with roasted peppers on focaccia. Also had a chicken pesto sandwich. Also delicious. Best brownie I have ever had. Two sandwiches and a brownie to go was $17. Easy access from Interstate 65.

While visiting family we stopped in here for a cup of coffee and something to eat. I ordered an Americano (espresso and water) with a cranberry scone. First off, they have some of the most appetizing looking pastries smacking you in the face once you walk in. I was trying really hard to not eat a cupcake for breakfast they were that good looking. My coffee was strong and made well, and the scone was like a normal bakery. I had wished I got to spend more time coming here because right as I was leaving they were pulling out fresh-baked pizza. Yum. Going back for sure!

Well it is a bakery so actually cooking isn't their best I guess. The food to me is overpriced and something I could make at home. Bakery end is good though.

WARNING ON THE HOURS: just because they're open, does not mean that they are serving food. I went on a Wednesday, and it says that they're open until 8 online, they're open until 3 and have the baked goods for sale until later.. That being said, I love this place. I get the pizza, cakes for birthdays, brownies, and breakfast croissants on a regular basis. It's always sweet and fresh. Check out groupon for a good discount at this place. They just upgraded their outdoor seating and as soon as the construction stops, I'll be sitting outside for breakfast. There's parking in the back for free if you can't park in front of the building.

We came here for brunch, but they stop serving breakfast @ 10:30 during the week. So, we compromised on a sandwich and a muffin. I had the turkey and tomato panini, which was really good, and a glorious morning muffin. This is like a bran muffin but with walnuts, raisins, carrots and pineapple. It was delicious and paired well with their tasty coffee. My husband had a Reuben, which was also great, and a blueberry muffin that was yummy. The staff were nice. We would recommend stopping here.

9 cent spaghetti Thursday. Yes, you read that correctly. It seems like you can't get anything for that much these days. The spaghetti is 9 cents, and you have to get a $2 minimum, which isn't hard to do if you want salad, meatballs, a drink, or dessert to accompany your meal. Regardless, plan to eat for less than $5 on Thursday if you want a hot bowl of spaghetti. Plus, there are a ton of options here for dessert, how can you go wrong? If you need one other pro to go here: you can also work off those calories by strolling to this place via the Big Four Bridge. So what are you waiting for? See you Thursday.

Adrienne & Co. has done several cakes for me and they all have been delicious, as well as works of art! Their strawberry cake was a huge hit for our track team banquet (Louisville Collegiate School) this year. Finally - cakes that have icing that not only looks divine but tastes great too! Adrienne and Co were able to design a track shoe for us that was beautiful. They also did a cake for my son's graduation that had swim goggles and a track shoe, all done in the colors of Collegiate! Very creative. Also good lunch place...my husband eats there regularly. There is plenty of variety to keep him coming back throughout the week! Love the pastries too! Cross the bridge - by car or by foot - and come try Adrienne & Co.

Pretty good, a little pricey for me but as a tourist it seems good for the area. There was little for the carb conscious person, but it's a bakery! The desserts look good but I didn't try. The chicken cordon blue bread was fantastic. The chicken good and the ham ok.

Seriously delicious sweet treats here. The lasagna is very tasty too. I really like that the lunch specials include a drink and a cupcake.

Food was great for some small little hole in the wall looking joint. We tried several items like the rueben, the tomato soup, and a chicken sandwich. Of course we got the meal because it includes a side item, drink and a cupcake. You can't beat the deal. We also tried some deserts. The chess cake/pie was awesome, but the wedding cookies were a bit dry. Overall, I will make the drive over the bridge to Indiana for a visit.

Ok. What I did not expect was the prices...even on the food. The food was iffy at best, the cakes and confectionaries were...well lets just say my daughter and I were lucky we parked close! :p lol . Otherwise we woulda had to have ((rolled)) ourselves outta there. Hahaaha! The specific down points to this place was the customer service, the on-street, no handicap parking, and well...the food was extremely over priced. There wasn't anything really, really special about their baked goods except maybe a cheese cake wrapped in a brownie and choclolate cake that blew my diet outta of the water like an atom bomb! It was horrible, but omgsh - mouthwatering all at the same time. Moderation though - it took us a few bites here - and there - and here again - and within a few days, between the two of us we had a gynormous piece of chocolate on chocolate on chocolate devoured. Trust me - it was tough. :p lol. (just keep in mind what made it horrible was it was probably 100k calories a bite...this is what I tend to call lard in a box...but man sometimes that lard covered in chocolate, cheesecake, brownies, icing chocolate cake - tastes hmmm - just like what I just said all rolled into one lol :p) We went on a mission to get my sister's birthday cake...we were called by new boyfriend no one had cake yet... and unfortunately, unlike other bakeries like Heizman's I've dealt with in the past - which also has horrible customer service but wonderful german pasteries (aka..more lard in a box Lol. I digress but if I don't keep telling myself this - not only will I have stock in these companies, but I'll look like Varuca from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory :p rotl.) - Adrienne's doesn't have cakes readily available. So they gave us the choice of buying individual cupcakes for x number of people which would have been sold separately at about 2 bucks a piece or went with a round cake that had already been cut into and pieced it back together with different flavors and paid separately for each piece bringing the total of that round to about 40 or 50 bucks for one round and I believe 15 for the other round! :o I know I should have called head more than a few hours...that I get. However I didn't expect there to be that big of an issue when I wasn't ordering like a cake in the shape of a couch or something. Just a plain cake - nothing too fancy. So while we made our decision we sat down and had some lunch. This really irriatated the front counter woman that I obviously did not talk with over the phone. That lady was really nice and said she had two rounds in the freezer ready to write on - or had a lot of interesting ideas that would make for a fun party for my sister for about the same price - I stress about not 90 dollars more. That all disappeared when I got there...around 10 minutes later. ,:-/ So let them have lunch! It was a speghetti special day - my daughter went with that - and it came with a TON of food. As for quality - it was - ehh - ok she said. Comparing it with the likes of Jason's Deli or even Olive Garden - around the same range if not a bit lower. Yet we had a TON of food leftover. NOW I on the other hand, got a veggie version of the Gnocchi. It was supposed to be a potato dumpling thing, that came with different sauces. I had told the person doing the order taking - the same one helping with the cakes - that I wanted a light sauce and asked her what she recommended. She recommended the garlic sauce. Was she trying to instill some sort of karmic payback because I was being so indecisive on the cake or what!? Omgsh all this was was dough soaked in garlic butter!! I didn't even know there were potatoes in it, and the spinach I paid extra for was limp and calling out for help as it drowned in a sea of garlic mostly, but also a soup of butter. I think it would have put Paula Dean to shame. It was so aweful I smelled like garlic for like a week! I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I tagged and bagged it and brought it home to throw it away. It was horrible. I took my small round and my daughter wanted the triple cheesecake brownie cake thing and came home. Last downside: Apparently only (vague reference to Rocky to all those over the age of 30-ish) ADDDRRIENNNEE can write on the cakes - only one. She had left for the weekend. So we stopped at the grocery store bought some icing in a can and my daughter doctored the cake better than they had. (shakes head). The only reason I give them a three - we had their cake for my sister's birthday. It was so moist and the icing was not really wipped but wasn't thick either. It was just right. It was a bakery cake. Just what I was looking for without spending a whole bunch of time tearing apart my kitchen doing it myself. Fair warning though - if you do decide to venture to Adrienne's come loaded and KNOW HOW TO PARALLEL PARK!! :p

Breakfast at Adrienne's would have been nearly perfect if not for the fact that we were served raw pork, not once, but twice during a single meal. After purchasing a Groupon for $20 of cafe items my boyfriend and I visited Adrienne's this morning for breakfast. The employees were extremely friendly and the cafe food was very reasonably priced. I ordered a breakfast quesadilla which I enjoyed immensely. My boyfriend ordered french toast, hashbrowns, eggs, and pork sausage. He noted that his eggs were overcooked. He then cut into his sausage and we both saw immediately that it was completely raw inside. He took the plate back to the counter and the waitress very graciously said that they would refire it. Quite some time later, as we were finishing our meal the waitress returned to the table with a new plate of sausage. My boyfriend cautiously cut it open and found that it was again completely raw. At that point we just left the inedible raw pork on the table without attempting another refire. Before we left we also purchased a large iced sugar cookie and a large filled chocolate cupcake with the remaining money from the Groupon. Both were delicious and beautifully decorated though they seemed very expensive as compared to other bakeries that I have visited in the area. Overall as much I loved the super friendly service at Adrienne's, it is impossible to overlook the health hazard of serving raw pork and the high prices of the bakery items. For those reasons I can only give Adrienne's two stars.

French toast and silver dollar pancakes were average. Bacon was thick and tasty. Potatoes, however, were cold and crunchy (not because they were over-fried, but because were undercooked and raw). Probably will not go here again.

You will NOT be disappointed with the food you order. All of it is freshly made, served in large enough portions to share, and has a great flavor. I have met the family who owns this restaurant and they are true Italians with a long history in family restaurants.

My family and I just moved to town and decided to stop in for lunch. We each got the sandwich meals which came with a side of either pasta or potato salad (both of which were excellent), a drink and a delicious cupcake. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was super friendly. We will definitely go back.

Ordered a cake from here for my daughters birthday and it was great but their customer service is lacking! Went back in to order another cake and was not offered to do a consultation or anything. The girl at the counter takes my phone to the back room to ask someone if they can do what I'm wanting, she comes back to inform me that they can not do it the way I want. That's fine and all but it would have been really nice if an actual decorator would have come out to speak with me and help me come up with something that would have worked instead of just turning me away. Not to mention the highly stressful drive through all the construction! I was really looking forward to getting another cake from them (as well as all our cakes in the future) but I guess my business wasn't good enough for them! Extremely disappointed, guess I'll find somewhere else to take my business. Not that they care. :(

Went here because of a Groupon. Killer deal by the way! Anyway, their sandwiches are awesome, had a chicken parmesan and Mark Trane (sp.?) and the lady threw in a cookie for me! It was awesome, and that kind of service will keep me coming back, its awesome.

Came here on a weekend trip to Louisville because we saw the website and the pastries - especially the donuts looked amazing! When we went in we were greeted nicely and offered service. The place was busy and there was a small line. When we had a chance to look at their cases there was a minimal selection of pastries and NO DONUTS. Maybe this was because there was a huge selection of Easter cookies and creepy lamb cakes. I mean - they looked well done but they were creepy nevertheless. Anyways we selected a couple treats - a Blondie and an Oreo cheesecake bar. The Blondie was decent but absolutely nothing to write home about - especially for the price. The Oreo cheesecake bar was a far cry from an actual cheesecake bar. It was not creamy but rather cake-y (that is if you like hard cake). And the half of an Oreo cookie on top was soggy. Definitely would not pay $4 for this again. Nice place - seemed friendly and quaint but seems over-hyped.

We have been customers here since the very beginning, when it was in with a gift shop. I have had good and bad experiences over the years. We always loved their hot meals, especially lasagna which I was told they no longer have, only sandwiches. Prices are rather on the expensive side, around 8.00 with no side or drink. Baked goods are always nice but also expensive. Priced at what you pay on a much larger city. Cake orders require a deposit.

I love Adrienne's! My son and I travel 20 miles to eat here and every time we go we feel very well taken care of. Sandwiches are BIG, the fried ravioli are DELICIOUS, and don't ever forget to save room for dessert. The filled cupcakes are fantastic. These ladies will recognize you after being there a time or two and will make sure that you enjoy your meal. My favorite; Roast beef on Wek. Weird name, great sandwich.

My review is in order to give caution to the customer who would be depending on their service for a special event! We were having a very special pre-wedding party for a dear friend's daughter at our house. All of the out of town guest were invited as a special way to welcome them in for the wedding. I wanted to have a cake made for the bride and groom that would reflect their interest and their time together. Adrienne and CO were doing the wedding cake so I contacted them about doing this cake also. I spoke to them on the phone on three occasions giving them the date and what I wanted each of the times. I then went over to talk with them in person explained what I wanted and told her that the price was not a factor, I just wanted a great cake! After spending nearly and hour at the bakery ( waiting, giving info, discussing the cake etc.) the employee went to check on flavors. She then returned after about 10 minutes and informed me that they had no time that week to do my cake! There was no attempt by the bakery to help me find another option or to recommend another baker. Sure you do not want to promote your competition but since they had wasted a week of my time with phone calls and an hour of my time at the bakery, should they not have attempted to help? I did taste their cake at the wedding. It was good, not great, but OK. Fortunately I was able to secure a cake for my event at another bakery that was half the price and twice as tasty! If you really need a reliable bakery, this would not be it!!

I have had their cakes at a few parties, and at Derby Dinner. I am not sure what exactly is going on with the cake, if it is a gfcf at the parties I have been to, or the cakes always taste this way, but they aren't my favorite. The cake-if it is the healthier option, has a texture like it is mixed with glue substance. The outside is very sugary. Now, the decorations are amazing, and I think that is what makes them stand out. I just haven't been pleased with the ones I have tried at a few occasions-horrible. My kids wouldn't even eat the cake, so what does that tell ya? My kids tried a few once, and had to spit them out. The Derby Dinner was better, but still had an odd texture. I have heard the other desserts are great, so I don't want to complain too much.

Super sweet spot! And the staff is happy and friendly! This place has AMAZING cookies!! Get the ones with the pine nuts on top. (you may think, ewww pine nuts! but I assure you, this is a taste of heaven!!!) I will be going back as I missed out on getting a canoli. Drat! Love me a good canoli! They also serve savory items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners are Italian so I cant wait to go back for dinner!

Stopped by on a Saturday morning for breakfast. I ordered the Belgium waffles with blueberries and chose bacon and cinnamon raisin toast as my sides. It was enough food for two people -- four waffles and 2 hearty slices of toast. The waffles were delicious - a little crunch on the outside but light and fluffy inside. Bacon was limp and flavorless, but I was really in it for the waffles. I only had one corner of the cinnamon raisin toast (too stuffed from waffles), but later kicked myself for not taking it home. If they make the cinnamon raisin bread, I should have bought a loaf to go, because it was amazing. Husband ordered french toast (looked delicious) with sausage and home fries. Service was quick and efficient for a busy Saturday. We ordered at the front counter, grabbed our number, poured our coffee from three coffee selections, and found a table. Two breakfasts and two coffees came in at just over $20. If I'm ever in Jeffersonville again for breakfast, I will certainly make a stop by Adrienne & Co.

Finding ourselves on the wrong side of the river, we decided to visit this place on a friend's recommendation. The frontage is a little dingy, but that's no bad thing; less attention to the decor often means great food. There was plenty of parking in the back. Desserts are out front, and you have to pass them to order your food. A little bass-ackwards, but not a complaint by any means. The decor is spartan; reminded me of the Irish Rover - good enough, though. They were offering a spaghetti special, but Her Ladyship decided on a chicken salad sandwich. I was going to going to order another sandwich for myself, but decided to wait and see. I am glad I did, When they bought out her sandwich, it was enormous. With the pasta salad side it was just enough for both of us Unpretentious and highly enjoyable; I shall return.

Just found out about this little bakery and restaurant the other day and had to check it out for myself. The first thing in the door is the bakery displays and with one look you'll know it was a good decision to go there. Everything tastes as good as it looks. Huge brownies, cheesecakes, and cupcakes dominate the counter. They also specialize in cakes for any occasion. If you can make it past that the meals in the restaurant are great too. Nice variety of food and fair prices for everything. The homemade bread is top notch and all of the sandwiches are made with it as is the garlic bread. The owners are usually working at the counter so you always get personal service and they seem to have a lot of regulars they know by name. All around great place that has a fun, high energy staff with lots to offer.
